1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Granted 3 Money Transmitter Licenses, Possible Bitcoin Integration? on: July 06, 2023, 07:03:27 AM
I knew this is coming anyway but I like how Elon Musk slowed the whole process down because he knows much about the crypto market himself,  I bet if this is really coming it will be when the market is gearing up for another bull run, that man is a smart one, his timing is always perfect.

I could say it's a good news but it's not the type that brings hype or will bring hype into crypto market, it's something that will become effective only if it's implemented and working, it's really not something so crazy but I'm excited for it anyway.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 06, 2023, 06:02:26 AM
If the workers are the ones to display the scores for everyone to see I won't play such game in a casino, even if it's always the house that wins I prefer a game of luck that gives me my result itself, I am not into Virtual but any game where the gambler won't see the result insta with his eye but relies on what the screen score will display is nonsense.

Sports results or scores can't be tampered, for example a soccer game or basketball and many others, they can't fake the scores without you know, if not instantly you will know few minutes after.

But it's not just words of someone watching from the sidelines, it's stats, it's a fact that addicted gamblers constitute around 5% of all gamblers.. Check it by yourself.

I read some articles, and really saw that there are not as many addicts as it seems. Nevertheless, 5 percent is outdated statistics relating to 2018 or 2019 (judging by the latest articles on Wikipedia). But a year ago the statistics were updated, and now eight percent of respondents admit that they cannot control their desire to play. As you can see, unfortunately the number has increased (but in old surveys it was said that the number of addicts is only two percent).

I am sure that this is due to the fact that digitalization has made gambling much more accessible.
There is no way the data on this gambling addict can be accurate anymore because we now have online gambling, if someone messed up his life through gambling it could be hidden and the person can pretend like nothing happened, and if friends and family ask questions he can easily lied that financial crises took place and he lost some money in an investment that was supposed to work out fine.

Some people can't withstand losing a lot of money and everyone around them will know that they lost money in gambling while some know how to hide their shit, they will smile at people's faces and cry in their closets.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 05, 2023, 07:50:21 AM
Advice #1 : Diversify

Bitcoin is a must have for all crypto investors for many reasons but I can't lie to you mate, altcoins have given me more profits in this bear market than Bitcoin, I made 10x in this bear market from a AI project and I took my profit, leaving behind few thousands tokens for long term hold and I use the profit to buy more Bitcoin.

It's not wrong to have some altcoins in your wallet, that's the best strategy, always have few altcoins and let your main focus be on Bitcoin itself, I have 9 altcoins in my wallet and Bitcoin is my biggest holding, and if any pump happens among these altcoins I will take profit and use it to buy more Bitcoin.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Advice #2 : Wallet

I don't like that you are using a half-open-source and half-closed-source wallet for storing your Bitcoin, I don't even know which is which with Trust wallet, some are saying it's fully closed source and some said partially but it means it's not completely open source and that's why I will like you to think twice and use a non- custodial open source wallet.

Use Electrum for storing your Bitcoin and use Unstoppable Wallet for your other altcoins like Ethereum Erc20 or BRC-20 token.

1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are bitcoin mixers often accused of laundering money? on: July 05, 2023, 07:02:42 AM
Bitcoin mixer is accused for money laundering usage because the government don't like Bitcoin in the first place, so they will try to exaggerate any information that they don't like. It's similar like government accused Bitcoin mining use a lot energy, Bitcoin is used for ponzi scheme, Bitcoin isn't safe as many investors lost their coins on a centralized exchange etc.

However usage of Bitcoin mixer isn't completely make it's anonymous, it's not as simple as that.
Not entirely true, Bitcoin is friendly to no nation because it's decentralized and in a world where the government rules Bicoin is automatically a threat, but thank God that Nakamoto doesn't made Bitcoin a privacy digital currency, this could give them the reason to never unlift the bans on Bitcoin.

As for Mixers, I don't buy your point of exaggeration from the government, if any one wants to embezzle dirty money Mixers can get the job done easily, if anyone is trying to fund some terrorist groups Mixers can make this easy too, so why are you saying that exaggerated the whole thing?

Are we going to stick with the fact that not all Mixer users are criminals? Well that's right but at the same time how are we sure that crime organizations aren't using Mixers too? If you are the leader of a country and you want peace for your country, isn't Mixers something to watch out for? The ability of Mixers are scary in a part too.
1006  Economy / Gambling / Re: What other gambling sites offers free bitcoins like freebitco on: July 05, 2023, 06:15:27 AM
Fortunately, freebitco is the only faucet/gambling platform that still works very well till today and there aren't many like it that still functioning right now, but I want you to know that you will end up wasting months and time to reach your withdrawal limit on the platform, it's not worth it because of the tinny sats you will make every hour, you will get bored pretty fast too.

Instead of devoting a lot of my time to faucets, I will rather spend the same time on incentive airdrops like Starknet, Mantle Network, Linea, and others that have officially announced their upcoming airdrops and use the few dollars you will earn to buy Bitcoin, this is a good way for someone who doesn't have money to start their Bitcoin journey right now.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 04, 2023, 08:09:15 AM
I'm against loan myself but some people just can't survive without it, I have a friend who start a business using a loan and also complete his new house using a loan, it's been helpful for his journey so far but I wonder what his state of mind will be, I always find myself worrying too much when I am in any form of debt, I don't like it and it always take my sleep away, I wonder how those who are used to loans are able to sleep in the nights.

The creepy part is once you start using the loan for everything in your life you will get addicted to it and yes it's true that you will always be in debt throughout the days of your life and if you die your property might be seized or your children might be the ones to start paying back what you owe.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are giving too much importance to exchanges on: July 04, 2023, 07:43:43 AM
So what are we going to do about it? Can you control the minds of millions of people that are using crypto exchanges? Even with the crazy crashes happening with centralized exchnages these peole are not ready to take responsibility of their assets themselves.

Imagine people telling you that they still keep their Bitcoin on Coinbase in 2023, some people trust others easily and its the same with entrusting their assets with centralized exchanges.

Sam Bankmanfried or whatever his name is failed many but he is not CZ, or Brain Armstrong, this is the type of excuse you will be hearing from people, some are so lazy that they don't want to hold Bitcoin in a wallet that they control, they want others to control it for them, so that they can blame them easily if something happens to their Bitcoin.

Aside from traders using exchanges for trading, some prefer leaving their assets on exchanges than keeping their assets themselves.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 04, 2023, 07:06:28 AM
I don't see any reason to quit gambling, because I am in a good shape with gambling, I don't go over my boundaries and as a long-term crypto investor I know how to manage risks, if gambling have somehow destroy your plan and your future it's your fault, it's probably because you are too greedy or you want to use gambling as your source of income stream which is impossible, we have good days and bad days, this is also the same thing when gambling, know and understand yourself, you will be able to handle your gambling desires and you will be able to limit your risks too.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 04, 2023, 06:37:03 AM
I don't have a gambling addiction, but I acknowledge that there are issues with my gambling habits that need to be addressed and corrected. One of the effective ways to tackle this is by observing, imitating, or modifying the patterns of other gamblers to suit me best. I'm curious about your own gambling lifestyle. Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling? If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available? When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble? As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods? And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere? I may have missed other aspects, but these questions should suffice for now. I look forward to reading your thoughts and comments.
I don't do sports betting more than Slots games, I don't have the time to work on analysis and other things, I was originally not a fan of football and I am just getting used to the sport, I like playing slots every Sundays and I use small amount of money, to gamble and try my luck, so that's once in a week.

There are times where I make more money than I expected and I take some to play Slots within the week, my strategy is never to use large amount of money and never to expect anything when gambling, I just relax and say, lets see how this will go today.

I believe this is why I never feel hurt when I lose the money, because 20$ to 30$ in a week for gambling is far more affordable for me and I don't ever use more than this amount.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: July 03, 2023, 09:05:55 AM
Crypto gambling and casinos was well hidden to someone like myself, in the past years the only valid gambling platform I know is freebitco and that's because of their free faucet, if not I wouldn't know that such a platform existed.

Coming on this forum and seeing some high rank members promoting casinos was what makes me to be curious about using crypto to gamble online, and I started my gambling journey through Roobet at first then I started trying others out too.

I think the level of casino advertisement online right now is still well hidden and not available everywhere online, you will have to develop gambling interest in mind before you go looking for one yourself, that's how we'll hidden gambling ads are online, it could be different based on location maybe, I don't know.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 03, 2023, 06:59:32 AM
This is why my mind is on the year 2025, because I believe that's when BTc will make a new all time high again, but still I have a very disciplined mind here, we can be expecting a price surge in November 2023 and another big pump happen, many people who aren't disciplined enough will probably lose the zeal to carry on.

Either ways, it will still favor someone like myself because I see every Bitcoin movement, either up or down as an opportunity, it's going to be a good future I believe.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: July 03, 2023, 06:11:36 AM
It's funny how some.comments are referring to casinos cheating too so there is nothing wrong if you cheat back? Like who is cheating who? You knew this all along and you still decide to gamble on the casinos? I think that's the most lame excuse I've heard this far.

You guys are just trying to justify your point that stealing and cheating is not that bad, what is bad has no other names, it's called BAD, and stealing is stealing, there is no good stealing and bad stealing, if someone cheats you or steal from you, you don't do the same back to make it look justified, you either get them arrested or you go through a lawful process to get your justice back.

If you think or believe that casinos are robbing people, you should stop using any to gamble and find something else, do not say that they are robbing you after you have lost many rounds of your bets, that's an impoverished point.
1014  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not your key not your wallet on: July 02, 2023, 11:47:12 AM
Your fund remain secured with us, that is a big fat lie.

That's so funny, it was what how I trusted my Bitcoin and other to free wallet some years back and I learned the hard way, this is so funny, I am not surprised that people still believe in such a statement, whenever I read such online I always laugh.

You know what's best for yourself, entrusting money to even your own family and friends brings forth betrays and you entrusting your assets in the hands of people who you've never even meet for once is the craziest of all, if FTX hasn't changed the way people look and judge centralized exchanges then people will never wake up.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy bought more bitcoin on: July 02, 2023, 10:51:54 AM
I will like to know how you people are able to keep track on the Micro Strategy Bitcoin wallet address or is there a place where it's all revealed that I don't know?

Also other companies that are less popular to micro strategy could be doing the same thing too but we aren't aware about them, or maybe we think they are just other whales, well things are looking more bullish, and more adoption will continue to happen.

I don't think that such companies will ever be ready to sell their bags and this amount is not that huge that could cause a massive dump if they want to dump such number into the market and if they dump with time no one will even notice.

I think such companies will have Bitcoin in holding for many years to come because it could be the best backbone asset for their companies present performance and also in the future.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 10:02:56 AM
The age of 18-21 in California is precise because I have someone living over there I've asked him and he said 18 too, this is not the same in my country because there is no law forbidding kids to never go near gambling, every age is welcome if you know what you are doing, I mean if you know how you can operate a gambling website, the only prevention is the gambling platform age requirements, and I don't believe that all online gambling platforms have this restrictions on their websites unless I am wrong.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A qualified strategy exist in gambling? If yes, come and talk. on: July 02, 2023, 08:46:52 AM
There is no such thing and it's never going to happen, there is no way anyone can be accurate when gambling, it's forever a game of luck and that's why we name it gambling, no matter how good your gambling strategy is, you can't erase losing your money, I would rather gamble responsibly than try to find a strategy, every gambling strategy that targets profits are fake, your gambling strategy must target your own healthy way of gambling, no profits pursue until it comes your way, but before that will happen, you have to be in safe hands and not gamble more than you can afford to lose.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin ETFs on: July 01, 2023, 10:33:13 AM
Don't believe in what the media is feeding you, it's possible that the ETF will be rejected or probably another style of manipulating the market, either ways I am thankful that they are doing this because they are keeping the price down and if you are smart to should have taken the advantage already.

There is no need for worries because these people understand the market and they can manipulate it, so if they plan to approve the ETF they will when they feel it's the right time, but it's good that bitcoin doesn't care about the approval or the disapproval, Bitcoin will still do well without it.
1019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: July 01, 2023, 07:40:22 AM
Fear and scam is two in 1, the reason why some people are not in crypto yet is because they fear of losing money to scam projects, and they also don't know where to start, instead of taking the step to do research, they look for someone they can follow, and if the person they are following are scammers, they end up becoming a victim and the next thing that will come out of their mouth is crypto is scam.

Truth is, some people just presume that crypto generally is scam and they are not ready to view crypto from another angle, maybe they could be wrong, if you are the type that views things from different angles you are a wise one.

It's on us who understand what crypto is all about to start correcting those that just consider that crypto is generally a scam.
1020  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: July 01, 2023, 06:52:40 AM
I like the original post, it's clean and well explained, this is a complaint that I find easier to understand compare to some past complains from few newbie accounts on this forum.

As I was reading through comments page by page,, I get to know that OP used a VPN connection at a time, this might not be the reason why they are holding your money, if it is then they won't be asking for verification, and it's just 6000$ we are talking about here, coming from a very popular casino like sTAKE, that's mean.

Also I will like to ask OP how many times he has won through STAKE, see if you keep winning the house, they will believe that your winnings are not pure, and that you are winning using something that they don't know about.

I had to advice a friend who faced something similar to your to start using more than two online casinos, because he is a lucky fella that wins more than he lost within three months now, I knew they will at one point limit his access and probably seize some money and they did.
