OP I really do not know about your stand though if wether you are talking from experience or not, that is what I can not tell but the truth is that you should have it in mind that the world is full of both the good and the bad. In the course of life one must encounter with the good and the bad.  When it comes to blockchain one needs to be extremely careful and alert as it is said to be volatile so it is when scammers comes in disguise as airdrops, giveaways and lots more. Some come in form of third party exchanges which run away with peoples resources all on the name of hack. They are scammers and do not portray what they claim to be.

That is why you are advised to always save your assets in your own self custodial wallet for your own safety. Remember "not your keys, not your coin"
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 06, 2023, 06:04:32 PM
These are the reasons why it is said to gamble with fun, to gamble responsibly and to gamble with what you could afford to lose. It is obvious that she might have used a good reasonable amount of money valuable enough to play gamble without thinking of the consequences.  Such a big mistake she made to gamble with her thoughts of winning and taking profit. I believe she must have been disappointed with herself for such steps she has taken hence her display but at the same time too I became curious to why she would come public to make such stunt for public consumption. This is what I am yet to understand and I am trying to figure the reasons for this public crying ovation.

I want to buy Bookmaker USED accounts..
telegram @qqqq55555

OP what will it cost you to create an account and do your KYC so you could freely use it for what ever purpose you want to do with it. Do you not think that making such request here alone tells someone your intentions for why you want to buy a KYC  verified  account. Ordinarily, mere looking at this request alone and looking at your profile here is enough for one to put you on ignore list as your intentions are not clear yet why you want to purchase such account.

Anyone dealing should do that with caution as OP is likely not saying his or her intentions for the purchase and this has to do with a KYC verified account OP is looking at to purchase.
1004  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ghana preparing to supply Nigeria electricity. on: October 06, 2023, 04:49:02 PM
When I saw this update I just had a bitter sweet feeling about it, the sweet feeling is that our Ghanian brother are doing well, the bad feeling is naija my country our government don't even care to rectify our own problem, the refinery issue, as big as this country is there is no refinery, even though dy wanted to remove subsidy as already being done, provision should have been made before the removal of it, now look at how inflation has taken over every thing in the country, and the government are not even learning from there neighbours.

We just dey Para every day about our country, but waiting I wan make we understand now be say no matter how we dey talk the problem wey we dey face for Nigeria he no go finish, waiting we supposed do be say make we chill as, reason waiting go make our country good for us, as I hear this update now he dey sweet me because na help Ghana wan help us and he go good wey our country supposed get light, although I know say na Nigeria dey supply  Ghana with some things before but due to the progressive wey Ghana dey find dey cooperate and make their country better country, our leaders Don fuck from the beginning and as the matter dey like this he go take time wey Nigeria go come back to his normal ways.

No be say we no love our country oo, in fact I love Nigeria, but our habit no good and na waiting dey kill us be that one, we Niger get one thing, if we Don get we no wan dey give people wey never get and we know say God no be like us, he fit change everything about person wey no dey give and give to person wey deserve it, we get many resources wey dey bring money to the country but our leaders no dey let us feel like say we get them, all this thing's wey we dey face for Nigeria na greediness, I swear greediness no dey Allow person improve and even country wey greedy too much it will never improve.

Our leaders dem don already condition the system in the way that na only them the settings go dey favour continuously. Greed na the major reasons why dem set am like that. Only them want to chop alone to the point wey be say them don turn everything to family business for themselves alone. Another thing I come observe be say dem no want the youth to improve at all because if the youths them begin see light omo our leaders dem na on your own o, nobody go send them at all and dem no go fit use anybody for whatsoever reasons. Hence the system dey as e dey like this and e come be say the country no dey improve at all.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble till old age or not on: October 06, 2023, 04:34:18 PM
I do not really see anything wrong with gambling at old age. If you do that responsibly and for fun without being addicted to the point of becoming a headache to your family then its okay as long as you are okay with it.To some point you should know when to call it a quit because at some stage at ones old age, you would not be able to engage in some kind of activities so it is better you start early enough to limit your gambling life style so as to enable do away with it at old age.
It true that there no problem whatsoever with gambling into old age as long as you can still have limits and gamble just for fun but at least it would be better in old age to gamble once week just to fill your free time and entertain yourself so you don't get bored.
After all gambling is choice and a right of each person and no one can prohibit it.
There are quite a lot of people out there in old age who still carry out active gambling activities either using savings or money given to them by their children but this should be more strictly limited and controlled because it can also cause child misunderstanding of parent.
Wouldn't you also be little disappointed if you gave some money to your parents for the purpose of holding on when you wanted something to buy but instead the money was used for gambling.
Personally I would oppose what my parents did when they were still actively gambling but if it was just to get rid of the boredom of gambling once week or once month with small amount of money then it wouldn't be a problem that should be discussed.

I feel gambling at old age is no big deal though probably if an aged person gamble, maybe they are doing that just for fun and not for profit although if they get the wins, they can go with it but as long as they are not addicted but are gambling for fun and responsibly there should be nothing to worry about as that is what they do at that age that gives them joy in doing. It only can be in a situation where the old aged individuals are prohibited by the laws of their land to not take part in gambling then that is when we can say the aged can not gamble as a result of the existing laws of the land were they belong to.

Just as you have said, maybe some of the old aged do engage in gambling to avoid getting bored and as such, they would want to either go with their friends to casinos if they can or they gather together with their friends to gamble together.

1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Bitcoin Address with balance today? on: October 06, 2023, 04:16:20 PM
What a break down, I never knew there is a place to know the amount of bitcoin addresses with funds inside.
The blockchain is public data. Anyone can access it.

Quote
how do you collect the data and also determined how they transacted?
See: List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance. TL;DR:
Credits
Blockchair Database Dumps has a staggering amount of data, easily accessible (at 10 kB/s) with daily updates. All data presented in this topic comes from Blockchair.

It is nice to have seen this topic here. Blockchain is  indeed a public data unlike the centralized system where computations  are done secretly and results brought out manually for people to see and in some cases there are discrepancies in the figures which contradicts the reality.

I am hopefully waiting to see innovations that can be able to take cognizance of flagged wallet addresses.
1007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $20 Kokruuu scam report on: October 06, 2023, 03:17:27 PM
Sorry for your loss OP but this is a lesson learnt. How come you never demanded an escrow since you are just dealing with a person you have no knowledge about? After seeing and knowing he has an account here you could have told him you wanted an escrow to know if truly he is for real and I believe you could not have been scammed by him. It is unfortunate this happened. These are the reasons why we are warned to be wary of accounts with not much activities here and to avoid outside platform discussion if it happens that both parties meet here and start a conversation here because going outside of the platform to further discuss business would put such parties at risk because scammers always want to be out of trace. Your funds are gone and the only thing that can be done is to make known the scammer's account so that nobody will be a victim of the scammer in the near future.

This is a case of copy paste error which he must have seen and was quick to edit it. Anybody can make such a mistake on this platform as I think that is not enough evidence to nail him. I noticed both speak different language as per their local board engagement but  that does not one is above mistake. Just as Yahoo62278 has said, that is the best resolution to this situation.
1009  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 06, 2023, 02:35:17 PM
Getting on topic, Irfan can only tell people what he is told. Nothing he can do to speed the process up.

The tokens may have been distributed by now if it had been some random shady project. I've seen that good projects always delay tokens distribution in order to prevent being dumped by bounty hunters. I checked out the project and they appear to be the real deal, hence the delay. I suppose they are looking for the optimum time to distribute these tokens, but it is the BM's responsibility to keep his hunters informed and not leave them hanging.

We wouldn't see such a high number of daily participants if bounty hunting wasn't profitable. Those men are probably milking oil down there.

Your opinion is absolutely correct. Most  shady projects are always in a hurry to distribute their rewards for some reasons best known to them and also that hunters do not dig deep into their projects in unraveling things about them if they delay their payment after promotion. However, the reverse is always the result for good projects as they delay with tangible facts to support their delay in payment. As a matter of fact, i had to check for myself to see what the project is up to and I discovered  a lot development ongoing and that made me believe the delay was done to protect the project that bounty hunters do not dump on them diminishing the value of the combo token.
1010  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Secret of investing no one tells you about on: October 06, 2023, 02:16:24 PM
These points of yours are quite alright and I would say this, amongst them all is knowledge because if you do not go for knowledge about your invest at first, you are already toeing a path to failure because the knowledge you gain in the course of learning would guide you through to making the right decision while investing. Not only that learning about your investment helps you mitigate some impending risk which should have happened but the knowledge already gained would help you cushion the effects by preventing it form occurring.

Always move with people of the same like mind ie. Your circle should be of people with the same goal in business like you are. These would help you share or exchange ideas and gain more knowledge because no man is an Ireland. Information and updates could be easily accessible when you keep people of same investment goal as you are because each and everyone in the same circle would want to be informed and in that course would be sharing update with each other to making sure all of them are on the same page.

1012  Economy / Services / Re: Duelbits KYC Verification (only experimented) on: October 06, 2023, 01:36:49 PM
OP if you pay for someone to pass KYC for you from this platform will your account login IP read the same as the persons own login IP? Even if the person uses VPN to login that would make it worse because your account is accustomed to one particular login IP and therefore, you will be called to answer some question. If I am not mistaken, from the looks you seems to sound like someone already using VPN to login and maybe you are from a restricted place and not allowed to play with the casino. I hope you know the consequences of what you are doing and you are ready to take in fate anything that comes up as a result of your actions. Do not come complaining that Duelbits scammed you of your funds when what you have planned backfires.
1013  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: BUA reduce price of cement. A new strategy to end monopoly. on: October 06, 2023, 11:14:59 AM
After I read this news online with the circular, many thoughts came over me and I was wondering what prompted this action from this man because I believe something must have made him to do this. For him to have taken this measures to drastically cut down the price in the cost of his product then it means the price of cement is far cheaper than what they sell which shows that  the price hike was intentional and were bent on imposing high price on their commodity because they are just few in the line of business and as such would have the market dominance and nobody to compete with them.
1014  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: naija board : newbie, a must read on: October 06, 2023, 09:51:35 AM
Naija board na one better board and the activities for the board this days dey make belle sweet person.

It is good that our local board is fast gaining attention coupled with the activities these days and that has made the local boards to start looking into our activities here. Of lately reputable members have started paying attention to our plight as a result of our presence and contributions in making the platform lively. This is a really a good thing to behold.

1015  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ghana preparing to supply Nigeria electricity. on: October 06, 2023, 08:32:12 AM
Finance I think is not the cause of our power shortage here in Nigeria as our government allocates huge fund to the power sector

I will point to production, not transmission. I will use four other countries for comparison. Production will also be proportional to transmission.

Nigeria population according to 2021 estimate: 213.4 million
Ghana population according to 2021 estimate: 32.83 million
South Africa population according to 2021 estimate: 59.39 million
Morocco population according to 2021 estimate: 37.08 million
Côte d'Ivoire population according to 2018 estimate: 27.48 million

Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa and the sixth in the world. Which means we need more electricity. You will be surprised by this:

Electricity production in Nigeria as of March 2023, 8,607 GWh
Electricity production in Ghana as of December 2021, 22,051 GWh
Electricity production in South Africa as of July 2023, 19,844 GWh
Electricity production in Morocco as of December 2021, 40,512 GWh
Electricity production in Côte d'Ivoire as of March 2023, 8,607 GWh

If you want to do more comparing to the electricity suffering in Nigeria, this is the link: https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/nigeria/electricity-production#:~:text=Key%20information%20about%20Nigeria%20Electricity,Mar%202005%20to%20Mar%202023.

Our governments are not trying at all. Or maybe it is mismanagement or the government is not funding power sector appropriately, it is left to them.

From this analysis, I was ashamed that our country has misplaced priority, and is not as if they are not aware of all these defaults, am very sure they know but they don't care. just imagine Nigeria being the sixth and most populated country in the world and also in Africa and we are still obviously putting ourselves to shame just look at the amount of electricity produced just 8,607 GWh just imagine even places like China that have a larger population, still produces good services to their citizens, look at morocco producing 40,000 GWh our country has supposed to have increased the production of electricity, I can not really remember but this issue has been discussed before in the house of assembly and still nothing have been done since it was discussed.

The National house does not even care about that aspect of the national concern as it relates to the ordinary citizens of the nation. All they care is passing bills that can favour them when it comes to sharing  of money. They are not bothered because they get allowance for diesel or possibly fuel so they power their plants and generators to supply them constant power supply in their various houses.

Our nation really does not prioritize power supply because if they do, Nigeria would have long passed this stage of electricity outage and what we could be aiming for is industrialization and attracting industries to our country for the fact that we have resolved the issues  of power supply because that is what most mega industries look into before choosing a country to establish their high powered factories.

Looking at the statistics, you would definitely call this nation a joke. A nation known as the highest populous black nation which should be aware that the electricity demand would be very much high and should be in the move to increase her capacity and up till now its still the same. No improvement, not even an attempt made by the Ministry, no nothing. How do they want to encourage industrialization if they can not tackle demand for power supply.
1016  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / A sudden slash in the price of cement. on: October 06, 2023, 12:27:02 AM

My country people. This na the type of news we want to dey hear every day for we country Nigeria. The rate at which building materials skyrocket no be small. This thing make people wey been dey build pause their house project. The ones dem wey want to begin to build suspend their own too as a result of the increase in the price of building materials. Wetin come to baffle me be say Naija get limestone and these cement factories dem dey for here how come the price for the cement per bag come to increase to a point wey be say the price too high to talk about.

I became curious to know the reasons behind this sudden slash in price per bag of cement by this company. After reading the circular as published by the organization, I could not see any tangible reasons but I was having this thought if they could have teamed up initially to increase the price for just no reason, and now the only best-known reasons for this company to have decided to drastically slash the price with immediate price effect all over the nation. This is a good move because it would cause others to drop prices as well and the competition would be very high among the cement producers on the other hand, would other cement producers not come for him for taking such measures because I know this would affect the rest of the other producers.

Well, I have no idea how effective it would be but I believe that this decision would make others sit up.

1017  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ghana preparing to supply Nigeria electricity. on: October 05, 2023, 10:36:06 PM
A friend of mine went to Ghana and narrated how electricity is constant there. I have a friend that went to Tanzania and he narrated constant electricity where he stayed for over two weeks. I have a friend that went to Benin Republic that Nigeria is supplying light, they have better electricity supply and the city is known for its neatness. Countries that are less developed than us are having good electricity.

The two African countries you mentioned has been enjoying steady electricity supply for more than ten years now though Ghana may have steady supply of electricity but the chargers are too much when compared to other African countries and the saying that Nigeria has been supplying light to Benin Republic is still not clear to me because few years ago Benin Republic celebrated a good number of years of uninterrupted power supply while my country Nigeria has not experienced a 24hours of uninterrupted power supply for once. I think the information about Nigeria supplying light to Benin Republic is false because we can't be in total darkness while we are generating steady power supply to someone else that's total insane.

I am very much aware that Nigeria supplies Niger Republic electricity but that aspect of celebration is what I do not really know about but I know that of Ghana to have celebrated one week uninterrupted power supply. It is obvious that we supply to other countries and still yet we experience epileptic power supply.  We as a nation have not satisfied our own needs in terms of electricity  power supply and our the mega  stations are yet to be upgraded but the government claims to be releasing funds for that purpose and things are still the same way they are every year. No improvement, no growth, no development. All they  know is to give estimated bill, climb ladder and cut wire.
1018  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Possible scam attempt message for newbies. on: October 05, 2023, 09:03:47 PM
This matter really tire person because when them send me that kind messages to my number, them come call my line say make I send them my bank details say them dey detect issues from my bank. At first then call my name come asked whether na me be so so and so person, I come say yes then say they have been trying my number say e no dey reachable make whether I fit get chance call my card details for them say emergency dey for my bank account. Before I know them say go inside pick your atm card make we secure your account say them detect say scammer dey try withdraw money from my account say them block am but I go need to change my ATM pin immediately to avoid further damage say make i call the previous pin so that them go generate new pin for me to secure my card.

My people this story became more interesting because me self don already get the code say na scammer dey do but on the hand I wan waste their airtime to dey keep them on work, so them say are ready to call your card details and I say yes.. Na so them say oya start, I called many random numbers unstoppably till them say repeat, I still repeat another separate random numbers my people the matta became more interested them tell me saying give us the pin, I call another for random number and them say repeat I still a separate numbers till there airtime exhausted na so I say thunder fire them there.

See the thing is, we need to be smart to outsmart those scammer, infact e get one self wey send me card one time like that wey them call me, I tell am say the room where my card dey inside my people sister pikin lock am comot say I need airtime to call her to bring key so that I go send them my card details, na so de scam say how much card I need. I as good woman I tell am any amount them send is good for me, na so them send me 500 Naira card to buy my heart so that I fit happy send them my card details but immediately them send me card na so my zoom of my line go sleep first 🤣.

Those guys dem no get joy at all. Every body dey vex for this country as things don be like this wey make men don begin run things street way.  Na to open eye for them if them come your way collect them go your way like nothing happen. Dem no go think to near you again for their life because dem don learn lesson say no be everybody dem go just wake up in the morning begin call like that. E good as you teach them lesson.
1019  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ghana preparing to supply Nigeria electricity. on: October 05, 2023, 08:32:02 PM
This has made me to have  a thought over this and I was wondering what is really the cause of our electricity gridlock and  epileptic power supply here in Nigeria. Finance I think is not the cause of our power shortage here in Nigeria as our government allocates huge fund to the power sector, Policies are made to help sustain power supply and also payment of electricity tariff which is not favorable to consumers as they complain lack of power supply and hence some do not bother complying with payment and if they do pay, they make part payment.

As my brother talk for up so, na corruption be the cause of everything and for we to get things straight na for the government to just privatized everything for the power sector for the country. The partial privatization wey dem do no dey work, make dem private the full sector and watch how things go better. I hope you know say e get some part of the country wey no dey lack light, we get places wey dey use federal light and their light dey dey like 24/7. Wetin this one mean be say the power dey but na distribution be the problem and that's because the power sector go dey lose if dem distribute the power to everybody. Na only those wey dem dey guarantee say dem go play na people wey dem dey give power and this people dey normally dey for areas wey dey use federal light like dem GRA, and prepaid meter areas dem.

Big man na this one be the another major wahala wey we dey face for Nigeria. The matter of corruption Na wetin hold Nigeria to this stage. The idea of privatisation dey okay but Na still dem go buy the power holding company. Even when dem pass back go buy dem no go fit still manage am.

As for the areas wey dey receive light I wonder the segregation, wey make the light no dey go round. only a particular location dey receive light 24/7 pass others and some too Na based on their demand for turbine as an oil rich city wey make dem give dem.   why odas just remain for power outage like that nobody fit talk when month end dem cough out NEPA bill go pay over estimated bill wey dem no consume.

Nigeria corruption Na don't tell anybody.

OP from your comment I was wondering if truly you know what you are talking about because you would not be asking such question and trying to find out if there is any comparison with bitcoin out there. To make the point clear mate there is no other coin competing or compared with bitcoin as far as blockchain is concerned. Bitcoin is the first decentralized digital currency that was founded by satoshi nakamoto for that reasons it was termed the Genesis block

As a matter of fact, you are never late to adopt bitcoin. Bitcoin is still at its early adopter stage and as such holds more potentials and price value in time to come.

You can read about the Genesis block here
