After the previous match, Atalanta lost against Bologna, but that didn't make them give up and immediately came back to win and they did that when they hosted Lecce last weekend. Atlanta is one of the most inconsistent team in Serie A I am following them for few years with mostly they are having good start but then suddenly they have gone on wrong side and face issues which bring them down even once they were title contender, but suddenly they slip and have to stay at 5th or 6th spot in current season they are doing all as their usual business 7 loses from their 18 matches Fiorentina and Bologna already edge past them and now in next game they are going to visit Roma which is also good and improved even lost their last game against Juventus, but they were right on target which create good chances as well. Currently, they are doing tough job for the staying in UEFA competitions, but they need to improve their performance with having quality players, but things are not going favourable for them so most chances they will do their best but still have to be much better and consistent. Before now Atalanta used to be one of the top clubs in the serie A, competing with the likes of inter, juve, Milan, Napoli, Lazio and other top Italian football clubs but that is not the case anymore as they have suddenly taken a nosedive in recent years both in domestic and European competitions, they couldn't even make it to the champions league this season, this decline could also be attributed to the fact that Atalanta could not participate actively in the transfer market as other clubs do thereby failing to build a strong team that withstanding the challenges in the league, right now they seem a bit stable at the moment and I hope they maintain the status quo so they play in the champions league or the Europa league next season. |

If you can recall very well, this was almost the same pattern arsenal did last season that made them lose out of the title race to Manchester City, at this stage of the competition they are a bit inconsistent with their victories and I feel is a result of the fact that Arsenal does not have a second 11 team that has been built in connection with the first team, because the first 11 guys at this point have some level of fatigue and cannot really continue this consistency they possessed over this time. Looking at the game against Fulham you could easily see that Arsenal had possessions and had more opportunities to score at the first half, at least the match would have ended that first half with the goals Arsenal would have scored, but however they lack consistency and I feel is more of fatigue on the side of the players at this point. |

It was a comfortable game for Manchester City but the score could have been bigger than this anyway of course. It seems like Haaland and De Bruyne's absence at the same time affects the scoring productivity quite much even in this kind of games.  De Bruyne was actually in the substitutes but Guardiola didn't want to sub him in. Maybe Guardiola wanted to have him on the pitch as of the Newcastle game ahead in the league. It is an away game and could be a really tough game. Newcastle are worse than the previous season though but they can still be dangerous. It was more of a boring game for the eyes to see, I didn't believe a team like Manchester City having Pep Guardiola would dominate and play some entertaining shiit for the fans. Not just Erling and Kevin. The absence of Jeremy Doku also is important. When Kdb was away, Doku would ignite the tempo of the game but we saw the drunk Jack Grealish making my eyes itch as I watch them play the slowest game since Pep Guardiola took over. Eddie Howe also having a poor season with Newcastle United. He's protected by the media because he's managing a small club and he's a British manager. I'd love them to put same energy they put into sacking Erik Ten Hag and do same with Eddie Howe. I can agree about Jack Grealish as well. I mean he is a left winger but I can't see good enough contribution from him like goals and assists. He should be able to do better than this if he is really a skilled player. But he is showing himself like an average player to people honestly. It is like he is able to perform better than this when he plays for average teams like Aston Villa. A very comfortable win for Manchester city indeed, though not the kind of victory that everybody anticipated but those two goals were enough for pep Guardiola and his boys as they continue their winning streak after their return from the FIFA world club championship and as they also try to keep the pressure on the league leaders to make the title race more intense and also interesting for all the contenders involved, I know alot of people think they are out the race but i think Manchester city would never give up without fight to defend their title. I think it was a brilliant idea for the Manchester City boss not to introduce Kevin de bruyne in that game since city had the game under control playing at home, rather he should preserve the midfielder for their next game away to Newcastle where the player would be needed for expertise. |

I hope there will be lots of goals scored so that both teams will exchange goals to determine a hotter victory. But unfortunately the Juventus vs Roma match only ended with a narrow score of 1-0 for Juventus to win at home and Roma was unable to get the goal back. Manchester city is definitely going to win Sheffield without stress and I can tell from their performance so far that Sheffield may end up without a goal by the end of this match as Manchester city continually dominates the whole game keeping Sheffield at their 18 yard box and having only but a few chances to get to the midfield.

To be honest, I didn't watch this match but if I look at the statistics there is a fierce match between the two teams. Very decent goal from Foden while Pickford find the ball very difficult to pick  . Manchester City is a team that rarely disappoints. From the beginning of the match i knew they will still take the lead on the score line. Regardless of how fast Everton were lucky to get a goal, they will eventually lose the game to Manchester City. They are no match for the premier league champions. So bad John Stones has been taken off as injured. His absence may leave a mark on the performance of Manchester City for some period. We saw that when Rodri was injured as well. At the beginning of the game it was as if Everton where going to put up a strong fight when i initially saw the 1-1 draw, however Manchester City still had to prove that they were the defending champions, immediately after that penalty was scored, i knew that more goals where coming because Manchester City began to mount excessive pressure and controlling of the midfield as they often do. Liverpool are playing nice in this match but I wouldn't say they are dominant entirely in this match because Burnley seem to be attacking a lot tonight, though they haven't really gotten any concrete chance but I think they are gonna find the back of the net once they get the chance, and it seem like Vincent Kompany side are relying on the counter attacks to distabilize the Liverpool defence which has been a very good tactics for them in this match but we are yet to see what the Burnley side would make out of this constant counter attacks, maybe they might make out something in the second half. |
