1001  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.game asking me to lose intentionally, then confiscating funds on: September 20, 2023, 12:26:04 AM
-snip-

Hello BCgame, how about this? We are now 4 days further and I have not heard anything regarding this situation. Have you still not verified my claim? How can it take this long?
BC.GAME has been inactive since September 16, 2023 - but have you contacted it in another way, for example via PM or on Telegram?

If you haven't already - then I suggest you do so or you should wait until BC.GAME comes back online and solves your problem. But try to send him a PM in the hope that he can listen to you after receiving the notification via email.
It looks to be pretty normal that the BC game account doesn't log in a ton, but I agree the OP should try to contact them in a different way. Sites official email is probably the way I would start.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 19, 2023, 11:09:21 PM
If you spend all your time gambling and ignoring the ones you love, then obviously it's going to be an issue in your relationships. Not only with your significant other, but with everyone else in your family. Kids, parents, and all your other relatives.

Gambling is fun, I get it, but take time out to enjoy the world and people around you.
1003  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do we get the completed posts payment. on: September 19, 2023, 08:59:10 PM
Users wouldn't need to worry about it if they weren't jumping from campaign to campaign chasing that extra 25c. If you are in a long term campaign, why leave? People see a campaign with a higher rate(usually not a ton) and are quick to want in, but they have no idea if it is a long term or 1 week campaign.

I for one believe in the idea of campaign loyalty -- if I apply for a campaign, it means I plan on being part of it for a long time, possibly until it ends. If the manager sees fit to accept me into it, I feel they deserve for me to stick around for at least a while. Sometimes managers of campaigns I'm in have offered other campaigns they have available to me, in which case they are the ones suggesting that I move; in that case its fine.

But I know its just additional work for them if you move around a lot, and then old posts no longer carry the signature, which means no new traffic can be directed to the sponsor's webpage.
Good point! But one thing that is certain is that loyalty is relative, and how we view and relate it might vary. I like payment to quantify my work as I pride myself on doing more work in any campaign I join than any other campaigners, that's what I call loyalty. And I believe lower pay will amount to cheating myself if I can be that committed.

Not that I have the rose of time but I believe that when I'm being paid, I need to commit myself as though we run the company together. However, my loyalty to advertise for a company can be bought since I don't know them personally, but when it comes to the work, I do my best. I at times work more than twice the needed. This is not because I do have much time but interested in the success of the company I campaign for (loyalty).
I would have to look at your weekly post stats to see whether you are being true about doing nearly double the work or not, but for years now I have noticed that most users do exactly the amount of posts needed. I always advise users to at a minimum do 1 -3 extra just in case something gets reported and deleted.

In a sense you are correct on the assumption that it feels like you run the company together. I think it would do a lot of people good to think like that. Basically, it comes down to you are advertising to help that company get more exposure on the forum. Without gaining exposure and or clients, the company will close the campaign and your work ends. So rather than post everything in 1 discussion section, it's in a users best interest to post in many different sections of the forum so as many people as possible are reached.
1004  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: September 18, 2023, 10:01:56 AM
~ Being a regular user on betnomi for a bit, I really don't see how very many lost a bunch period. I barely ever seen anyone playing there unless it was a poker tourney sponsored or they did dumbass VIP transfers. Other then that, the site was pretty dead. Doesn't make it ok for them to exit on everyone who had a balance, but I'd bet the legitimate scam total was barely 20k IMO.

$20k? I thought there were millions of USD on the site. I'm not a whale or something, but I had around $400 on the site. My balance was $150 and I would never deposit more but my friend offered to sponsor my poker game and I deposited $250 more just couple of days before the site disappeared. Was I among those few unlucky ones who had much more than $100 on their balance? Too bad.
I'm only able to speculate as to the actual amount that may have been the total scammed. The site was mainly dead like I said though so it's hard to imagine many just left big balances sitting there.

A few of you who participated in the poker tourneys and maybe a few sports bettors is my guess.
1005  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: September 18, 2023, 06:35:28 AM

I'm just not a bootlicker for gambling sites. Didn't you also 'promote' for Betnomi at one point?
I did and decided to move on as I had some disagreements with the owner and their timetable for paying staff. Same goes for me though, I had an agreement with Betnomi at the time that all promotion would cease if a legitimate scam popped up against them. While I was working with the site, no scam accusation was ignored to my knowledge.

I don't want you to be a bootlicker or whatever. I would rather a user post their opinion, positive or negative, so i'm not necessarily getting on your case but I feel your blame is misguided partially.

I'm not aware of the details of all the deals people working with Betnomi had, but I know they weren't out to try and help users get scammed. An argument could have been made that they maybe should have stopped a few weeks sooner I suppose, but I think it's fair to say that they were not 100% an exit scam was about to happen. They had faith that the owner would make it right as that was his pattern for a couple years. Late or delayed, but always came through.

You are entitled to your opinion though.
1006  Other / Meta / Re: Without merit... on: September 18, 2023, 06:29:09 AM
The way you guys respond to this post is really helpful but we all know that Bitcointalk doesn't have fixtures to react to post  just as @SmartGold1 said and I still say it that I see merit as something to tell that a post is informative, constructive and of quality as the case maybe. Now let's remove merit out from the equation and I know some of you may say the post is of good quality by the comments quote and all that just as @BitcoinGirl.Club rightly said, how can you appreciate a good post?
Ok let's say we now use merit to indicate or should I say rate a post as informative and educative, are you telling that we just use quote and maybe replies to rate a post, without merit?
It's better to not worry about it really. If you like someone's post and have some merit to give out, then give that post a merit. There's no system, everyone can spend their smerit pretty much any way they want to.

I like to merit lower ranks from time to time to help them rank up, or at least I used to. I've slowed down a little as I think a decent number of the newbies are a part of the same farm. I seem to have moved on to meriting full member and above mostly the last few weeks.
1007  Other / Meta / Re: can we use live signatures on this forum. on: September 17, 2023, 10:28:32 PM
If I may offer a suggestion, you would probably benefit going from section to section and reading all the sticky threads in them. You seem to create a lot of threads asking questions looking for explanations on how this works or how that works, and you may be able to find the answers to some of these questions on your own.

Not getting on your case for this because we are here to help, but try to research yourself 1st and if you cannot find the answer make a thread or pm someone.
1008  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: September 17, 2023, 08:42:36 PM
No one was paid to defend them
icopress was. Zero responsibility taken of course. Grifting in the crypto world must be the easiest job in the world.

Well, Ico was paid to promote them, not to defend them, it's a big difference... and through some promotions & bonuses, signature campaigns & sponsored events, we all promoted Betnomi, but all that was a positive experience we had while we participated in all of that attractive stuff on the site. Who could have guessed that they would disappear just like that?

It wasn't up to me or anyone from here that things went the wrong way... some of us lost more or less with this as well. From each of us, you could see many warnings about responsible gambling, and even we get into problems from time to time. Nobody is "bulletproof" here.

You just need to check the betnomi thread to see it wasn't exactly promoting rather than defending. And they can answer for themselves if they weren't ducking this thread. Like I said, funny how everyone is absolved of responsibility when it all goes wrong.
You're just a bundle of negativity in everything you comment in aren't you. When someone is promoting a site, they cannot and will not be held responsible if the site scams as long as when a big scam is proven they stop promoting. It's impossible to know if/when a site can or will scam.

Now by big scam I mean more than a few accusations in the scam section because we all know that 90% of the accusations in there are total bs. Big scam like what's going on now, the exit scam.

Being a regular user on betnomi for a bit, I really don't see how very many lost a bunch period.
1009  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk user Joerii passed away... on: September 17, 2023, 07:33:10 PM
It's always sad when we hear of a fellow forum member passing away. I have never been a part of any campaign ran by this user. I'm glad to hear the family is getting some of the help they need through the gofundme. My condolences also go out to the family.
1010  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do we get the completed posts payment. on: September 17, 2023, 05:31:23 AM
Tried that and learned my lesson — never get my pay in the whole week earning for signature campaign that was a year ago. That's why lesson learned, always ask the manager if its alright to remove the campaign on specific date, until there's no response, don't remove your avatar or signature to move another campaign. It works on any manager.

If someone is leaving or planning on leaving a campaign it is common courtesy to pm the manager and let them know. If it's something like hey this campaign is over in 2 hours, can I remove my sig then? The manager will likely say it's fine, but make sure you have permission before leaving or risk losing the payment for the week.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 17, 2023, 03:24:04 AM
In my country there are no casinos operating because it is an illegal activity. However, many online gambling sites operate and have many users from our country. So, even though I often play on online gambling sites, I have absolutely no experience playing gambling in real casinos. I often watch YouTube about gambling in real casinos, especially about slot machines. I noticed that in real casinos, slot games do not have a buy free spins feature

Do you have experience playing at real casinos and online gambling sites? Is there a difference playing there? I want to know.
Some slot machines in land based casinos now have the buy feature on them. It's still the same as what you'll see online though, you're gonna lose way more then you'll ever win buy buying the feature.

Are you serious? is there a buy in feature in land casino? I often watch on YouTube for slot games lightning, fire link, buffalo, etc. It looks like they don't have a purchasing feature. Do you have a name for a slot that has that purchase feature? I want to see it on YouTube
Here is a youtube video of a slot player buying the bonus feature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQxHf2wKpSk I am not sure how many games have this feature or if this is the only game that has it, I just know it was a real thing in land based slots.
1012  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $870K hacked from Mark Cuban on MetaMask on: September 17, 2023, 01:02:24 AM
He used Metamask to hold million of dollar worth of cryptocurrencies. After the $870 thousand was moved from the wallet, he was able to still move $2 million worth of USDC to Coinbase.

I am wondering how someone can have high amount of coins that is worth millions of dollars and holding it on a hot wallet comfortably and sleeping easily every night. I can not have that amount of money on a hot wallet and be sleeping easily until I get myself a hardware wallet.
Mark Cuban is a billionaire. $870k lost and the $2million moved are like $5 to him. He isn't likely ever going to lose sleep over losing less than a million or holding it in that type of wallet.

I saw this story on cryptopotato on my telegram when I woke up. https://cryptopotato.com/mark-cuban-confirms-getting-hacked-for-870k-on-metamask-report/

1014  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coins Game Rug Pulled 72$ a new low for the crypto gaming world on: September 17, 2023, 12:21:07 AM
Affiliate earnings should be yours to do with as you please. If you want to gamble them on the site, they should be happy with that as they're probably going to get part or all of what you made back.

Would they rather you wd affiliate earnings and deposit? Seems a little silly IMO.
1015  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hypedrop.com supposedly withholding 3.9 million $ withdraw on: September 16, 2023, 10:43:49 PM
KYC is such a joke honestly. I'm sure it's useful in some cases, but I think they go way too far on some of the things they think they can ask. For example, source of income??? That's none of your business. If I gamble, I am using most likely signature campaign funds and from what I think I remember reading, a certain site doesn't accept that as valid income. How much of a joke is that?

If KYC was only name address and maybe telephone number for tax purposes, I could get on board. Problem is they want a load more and it's kind of an invasion of my privacy.
1016  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do we get the completed posts payment. on: September 16, 2023, 09:06:48 AM
snip

I asked in public because some newbie also may have this question in their mind.
and I know this is a simple question which is easily solved by asking the manager but i wanted to know by members who lived signature campaign and still got the payment.
I read the rules carefully and didn't found the rules about what if i lived campaign in the middle of the week.

Are you 1 of those users that a manager has to spell out every little thing so that there aren't a billion questions with obvious answers? The point of a signature campaign is for people to post throughout the forum all through the week. If a company hires 20 people to make 25 posts in the week, and all those people posted 25 posts in 1 day and removed their signatures, how much good do you think that did the company? Signatures are only seen while a person has the code on, if a person changes to a different code then the new code is displayed.

This is why managers like to implement a max number of posts sometimes to slow the spammers down so the company they represent gets a little more exposure on the forum. It's also a general rule that users wear the sig code the whole week and do not remove it unless the manager says it's ok.

1019  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT BET ANYMORE ON SPORTSBET.IO, wrong bet decision on unusual match on: September 15, 2023, 06:17:54 AM
Back in the day bookies used to offer only spread, moneyline, and over/under on most games. There was no with OT or without OT. If you bet a team -3 and the team won by exactly 3 the bet ended up being a wash.

Nowdays they have added the draw option in there and if you bet team A -3 and they win by exactly 3, you are a loser. You should have bet on Draw to win. It's a little shady IMO but it's clear. It gives the casino a little more house advantage  is all i'm saying.

I don't think it's fair to title your thread "DO NOT BET ANYMORE ON SPORTSBET.IO, wrong bet decision on unusual match" when it's clear that you do not understand what happened even when people are trying to explain it to you. Yes, it sucks, but you should be aware of the rules of a match if you're going to make a bet. The bookie themselves did nothing wrong here, if you want to be angry or disappointed, you should direct your frustration to yourself for not knowing the rules.

It is not roulette and the casino doesnt need house advantage since they already has it in their quotes.

It is just like a football game that could ended in 80 minutes or 70 minutes where you have no idea how they will play.

Im not playing casino, it is sportsbet where all the rules should be clear. Sure I should know that the game could ended with a tie, but how should I know that if I already bet on a game before that also played OT as friendly game? And I am disappointed to the wrong information from the support, where they try to lying to me.
The site itsself has nothing to do with your bet man. You're not getting it. The site did not call the team representative and say, "don't play overtime so we can fuck this bettor over". That decision was made by the teams playing. The game was recorded as a tie, and sportsbet is paying bets that picked correctly. You picked incorrectly and it is your responsibility to know that the teams could decide against playing overtime, not the sites responsibility to inform you of the rules of the league.

Here's an example I hope you understand. Let's say I live in a place where marijuana is legal. I can smoke all day long or visit a shop and buy it. Then I decide to move to a place where it is not legal, but I didn't know that. I smoke a joint like I used to and a cop sees me and arrests me. Well, I didn't know the law here is not going to get me out of trouble. If I am moving, it is my responsibility to know the laws where I am moving to. Same as the bet you made, it is your responsibility to be informed. Google is your friend. The site has nothing to do with anything.

You are mad, I get it. I don't think stomping your feet like a kid is going to help you here though.
