I don't think this is gonna be an easy wall to jump over. The sheer quantity put on the asks is astonishing. It would take a massive scale of demand (or,most likely, a pull down of the wall by the people who put it up) for the price to even approach 50.
We need 10,760 BTC just to get to 48.60. Come monday the walls might move closer to 50 but we'd need real good news or demand for the wallmasters to let the price run above 50
![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBmmp82V.png&t=663&c=DBAyz5YHLSWstw) 10k wall? pffft. Every one of those days was over 100k BTC volume. The walls just make the slippage less and therefore more attractive for the buyers.

It's not up to us to support someone else's ridiculously ambitious project. There is a word for that and it's not looked upon favorably on these forums...
Am I missing an elaborate point or are you calling me a sockpuppet ? If not, would you please care to dumb it down. Socialism. How is saying that I like this service and the way they conduct their buisness and would like to encourage others to use it so it will be around the next time I need it socialism ? Im trying very hard to follow your trail of tought, but failing miserably. You are essentially advocating that we support a project which is not succeeding by its own merit achieved in the free market(replace coins with taxes here if that helps you... in the end the mechanism ts the same...). Is that clear enough? Still has nothing to do with socialism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SocialismSure one way to look at is is that I am advocating a buisness that is not meeting the goal set to them in a free market competition, no denying that. The other way (mine) is that I am advocating a buisness that has made a huge push for bitcoins mainstream acceptance. Something I think just about everyone on these forums can appreciate. If it werent for people making thes pushes we'd still be at an 10,000 coins to a pizza exchange rate and remain there indefinitely. The only difference is in what they own (part of the ownership of the enterprise or the crap the enterprise offers). That wasn't my point. My point was about supporting something which cannot survive on its own in the free market.

I did the same thing a year ago. Dont regret it for a second ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) How "all in" were you? Mind some disclosure? Not going to get into numbers, but it was about 80% of my total assets. I am not as "cold-blooded" as you are, only invested 20% of my savings, now whenever I trade it makes me super nervous coz when it's in BTCs it doesn't feel like much, when it's in fiats it feels like moving my whole bank account. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) +1. 10 BTC? Nuthin. $500 USD? Nervous. Yeah thats just conditioning, it was the same for me at first. Trust me, that over time it shifts from one side to the other. I absolutely HATE to see my bitcoins decrease while now I have no issue about spending my fiat.

Additionally, I personally don't support rampant consumerism, so no I will not be buying anything I don't absolutely need.

After all, if it's going to the stars, what's a few percent profit?
exactly. It will hurt more to lose out on gains than it will feel good to make a bit on the right trade. Its also very, very difficult to do that in the bitcoin market.

If you want to get some cheap coins sell now. Don't thank me later.
Buy back now bro - those walls at 48.5 are not real.

If only I knee-eew if this is a false breakout or real one. Would be so cool to short from the top of the hill all the way to $27.04! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) You seem like a good guy. Dont get fucked by the bitcoin noobs like Lucif did. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F4.bp.blogspot.com%2F_CZxSbWDjjP8%2FSfHLrZUHr9I%2FAAAAAAAAB5I%2F0SrIKulwnDc%2Fs400%2FDeadBear.jpg&t=663&c=KkdqZj1_bZr6rg)

The only shorting platform I know of and use is Bitfinex, for options there are several alternatives.
Please, tell me more I beg you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The hard-earned money is at stake now. (I believe this is a service to all, the rally needs to have a breather and I want to profit) Yeah the rally tried to take a breather... The demand is simply too high. Peoples expectations is what needs adjusting, not the price (down that is).
