1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Best Crypto Currency to Invest in this Time ? on: April 28, 2020, 08:00:42 AM
I'd too go for bitcoin and Ethereum. Not only they are trusted and tested, they are also the ones with most improvements and activity on github.
Bitcoin is nearing it's third halving and we have always seen a positive rally after a halving at least on last two. And Ethereum is also going to move to Ethereum 2.0 solving it's inflation and scalability problem.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto on older systems (DOS, BASIC, etc...) on: April 28, 2020, 03:37:04 AM
The newer OS are actually the graphical improvement of the older ones. I don't think anybody would be using DOS or BASIC unless for the specific fields that has been using it. i.e. no personal computer in the world would be a DOS or BASIC. It would be possible to make crypto work in a DOS computer that's on modern hardware but it won't run on a 44mb disk.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: April 27, 2020, 05:18:46 PM
I won't be taking those advice. When I enter a real casino, I do it for fun. I don't expect to walk out with the money I take. And I drink and flirt the way I want. I am not a chronic drinker or a sexual predator. I know my limits and I act accordingly. I'm not a professional gambler or making my living with gambling and the one that would have much better rules to go with.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 Explained - An Infographic on: April 27, 2020, 04:45:05 PM
Nice graph. It remind us how almost all of the coins are already mined and the mining of new coins are nearly over and mining needs to be sustained with fees alone. With so much power needed to keep the blockchain work, a decrease in fees would cause the network to not work.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solid investment or venture capital? on: April 27, 2020, 09:42:43 AM
With a certain amount of capital, I should invest in famous virtual currencies like btc, eth ... less volatile or new virtual currencies with little capital that can make huge profits but with high risks?
Can you give me suggestions?

Depends on what you expect and what amount of risk you could take. Bitcoin and Ethereum are established currency that would neither increase rapidly nor decrease to dust while newer coins have possibility of rising x10 overnight while also has possibility of being worthless. Choosing the correct one is important there but you can't go wrong with bitcoin.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: April 27, 2020, 07:45:48 AM
With the pandemic going all the way and no visible solution, opening up with some caution is the right thing to do. We should test all the players and separate the sick for treatment while the healthy ones should keep on going with their job. The lockdown is turning to be a mental crisis more than a economic one. The events should be exclusively broadcaster without any viewers on the event.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top exchange listed bounties is getting sucks on: April 27, 2020, 06:19:18 AM
They are not prioritizing their bounty hunters instead they focus on the investors and that's why if not delayed, they are sending the payment of bounty hunters in batches.

I think that's the strategy that they have come up with to avoid the continuous dumping whenever the hunters receive their reward. There were bounties that do have a lock-in period that bounty hunters who have received rewards can't even sell it right away.

Very true. Being listed on Binance exchange is an advertisement very few of the projects would ever receive. The ones listed needs no advertisement as all of it's issued tokens on IEO are sold in matter of seconds. That's why they allocate less amount for other  bounties. As for the bounty distribution, it depends on their term.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: April 26, 2020, 11:42:01 AM
I myself consider a pro crypto investor and trader but I too has been scammed multiple times. Most of the times it was avoidable. The largest mistake I make is to believe in something and act quickly. Acting quickly can be good for a trade but you need to be sure you are sending your money to the right place. Attractive investment, cheaper exchange rates and too good to be true promises should be double checked.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for best investors? on: April 26, 2020, 10:55:52 AM
I's just a competition to get the profit instantly. The major exchange sites will always have more the 80% to give a decent profit to the all of IEO participants.
The top exchange sites are only accepting the trusted project which has already made a lot of progress before it was getting launched on the launch pad platforms. It's not easy to be eligible to be the next iEO that will be launched on that launch pad.
This is not competition, but gambling. Every IEO in large exchanges uses a lottery system and we need a lot of luck to keep up with it.
Oh! I guess you are trying to judge with binance latest move on Cartesi IEO launch, well the lottery system is new, it wasn't like this last year in 2019, whatever it is the project gives investors good ROI
Binance has changed their rules since they completed the first 1-2 IEOs. FCFS has changed into a lottery and it makes people need to depend on their luck. It is obvious that investing in IEO at the top exchanges is very difficult, if we want to profit from them then we must really be the luckiest people in this market.

And they made a model that keeps the price of their token up. People need to hold BNB to get a chance to buy the token in IEO and as 100% of Binance IEO has made profit, people blindly get into it. The only problem is people don't realize that they could have made more trading than holding their funds in BNB in a similar time frame.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin in 2020 for long term buy ? on: April 25, 2020, 04:42:50 PM
If you are going for 3 to 6 months, I'd recommend you bitcoin. Look no further. No coin can be as safe and sure to profit investment as bitcoin for the next 6 months. If you are looking further past 6 months and upto a couple of years I'd recommend Ethereum as they are going 2.0 and probably are solving the scalability issue that is holding them.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy now 1 sat, sell next year 100sats+! It is not impossible :) on: April 25, 2020, 12:11:39 PM
Any inexperienced users be cautioned. Never believe on such baseless hype and research for yourself. The starter of the thread has a negative trust as well and if you see the accusation. Some users have already found that the coin the ID is promoting everywhere is actually a fake.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who own top 10 addresses on: April 25, 2020, 10:14:38 AM
Most of them are of course exchange wallet, online wallets and wallets of other financial services and hedge funds. They could also be of large mining industry and frozen accounts like binance's wbtc. I think more than 75 out of 100 are such accounts and the remaining could be of person and some may be hold by satoshi and early miners and investors.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Has Zero Active Development!! on: April 25, 2020, 01:38:57 AM
It's no surprise as the founder David Lee left the project selling all of his litecoin. When the founder rejects the project as useless, what more can you expect from the volunteer developers. Litecoin was a lighter alternative to the than bitcoin but there are plenty of coins that could carry on it's work with some extra perks. Litecoin is absolute at the moment.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cartesi is now listed in Binance on: April 24, 2020, 03:31:08 PM
of course this makes the bounty hunter feel happy, moreover Cartesi also gives quite a lot of prizes for the bounty,
with the price record can be held here, if CTSI goes down it will be different again the story, yeah,
but it already gives bounty hunters work that is not in vain, congratulations  Grin
Lol. I wish I was active when CTS was active in bounty. Why do I late always on this big bounties with better platform as well as future? I think i have a bad luck. Anyway, congratulations for those who joined the presale to ico and bounty. You are in a win-win situation. But do not sell it in lower amount, I will be the one that will buy your orders probably.

I too played the bounty game of cartesi and realized they have a good potential to create a platform for dapps. These platforms would soon make decentralized gaming and finance user friendly and effective. I haven't hold the BNB on binance but I have deposited some coins to buy cartesi when it gets listed.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much does the community trust crypto banks on: April 24, 2020, 11:22:48 AM
I don't know what exactly you are asking about but there are a lot of trusted exchanges and crypto banks at the moment.
If you are a trader, centralized exchange like Binance and DEx provides a easy and cheap experience with trading. If you just want to convert one coin to another their are many of spot exchange and spot DEx. If you want to store your coin for interest, both of exchanges and interest bearing wallets like Celsius and NEXO provide it.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Implement a Max Bet Option on Sportsbooks on: April 23, 2020, 01:24:43 PM
A gambling site would probably never do it a they earn the most from rage bettors. Sports betting is much more analytic and if you stick to rule, you'd make a profit in long term. The only reason why sportsbook exist is because no one sticks to their rules. People are overwhelmed by a few bad choices or when their favorite player/team is in action.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is An STO? on: April 23, 2020, 12:06:28 PM
STO are tokens that promises dividends. The rate of dividend maybe fix or depends on the net profit of the project. Some of these STO are actually regulated and audited. But many projects has started to misuses the term and call every of ICOs as STOs. So, there's no difference at all unless you find a project is actually regulated by any entity.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 21, 2020, 06:59:01 PM
There are issues with most of the centralized wallets. Coinbase restricts your account if they found you to be using gambling sites. Xapo excessively increased it's withdrawal fees and I left using them. Freewallet is a scam, they'll scam any large amount. For Nexo, I'm using it as a bank account and I have no personal problems from the site itself.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEX tokens/coins - The new gold rush? on: April 21, 2020, 05:13:13 PM
Though DEX are behind Centralized exchange by volume at the moment, no one disagrees that trading of coins would be dominated by DEX in the future. Just just needs to improve enough to be both user friendly and secure. DEX takes a less fees but their general operation costs lesser that's why people are attracted towards it's currency.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 21, 2020, 12:45:54 PM
Halving decreases the amount of bitcoin as reward to miners. As the cost for miners won't decrease, the miners should compensate it by increasing their selling price. They won't sell their coins for a loss. If the miners hold their coin, there would be no more circulation of new bitcoin and the price would surely rise.
