One can not rely say much about thr price because 90% of the tokens are not released to the public yet and the price is still quite low. I would have love the team remove the 90% bar to allow the price to float freely in the market and the actual price we will know
The team will never remove the pre mined token, as far as i know that about the truth if that was just like a huge money to the developers. But glad to see the price of the deep drop significantly. The pre miner token was the worst idea in my opinion. |

Was checking out FUCK token yesterday on ICO Stats which claims it gained a 496% ROI in 24hrs? Jow many of you lucky son of a bi***es were in on that?? And today another 96% ROI. Seriously consodering dropping every dollar i got into this.

Because there are worrying about the dumping will be affecting the price an stability of the omisego token, As you can see the airdrop already distributed into the ethereum holders and that makes the possibility for the owner to dump their omisego to get decent money. |

Bitcointalk is a great source for coin announcements. Are there other sources though? Particularly for international ones in a different language. Cryptocurrencies are huge in China / Korea / Japan / India. I imagine there's some kind of forum or outlet in Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc. where the coins are announced?

Recently saw some posts about detecting "scam" ICOs-- but what about detecting just "bad ideas" for ICOs?
What's your smell test?
(1). Check the management team, check for people who have a history of previous successful ICOs.
(2). Read the white paper and consider-- why can't this just be done with a database? What's the true use value of the token? Why does it benefit from being decentralized? Is it truly decentralized?
(3). What is your smell test for ICOs?
I give you an example about some projects that have owned the idea that doesn't make sense in my opinion at least senseless. THe number one is about the healthcare by used the blockchain system, for me sounds bad to see the some people just aim to get a lot of money without consider about the chance to implement the blockchain for medical. and you must even understand the economic still didn't adopt the blockchain . |

Did you mean about the shitty decentralized exchange site like waves dex with all of their unresponsibility feature? I must say that caused by the dex wasn't a good product at all. As you can see the difficult thing to run the dex in these days. With etherdelta just put your priv key and address and you already be able to trade in there. |

it seems to me like the media these days keeps demonizing what China did and closes an eye on the real facts. the facts that most of these ICOs are scams and illegal. and also the fact that many countries have been doing the same thing for years.
Initial Distribution stuff has never been legal to begin with.
Would you go far to say that Ethereum has done something illegal as well? I know some people who are higher up in the Bitcoin circle like Chris de Rose and lawyer Jason Siebert do think Vitalik Buterin has done so. If he really did then what would that make all the ICO's that were issued in the platform? And keep in mind,the real shit storm has not even begun yet. Keep in your mind that the bitcoin maximalist will always try to say that other altcoin just another scam, But they were never realized about the fact that other coin are still exist in this time. The important thing that the vitaliks just provide the asset issuance as the infrasture in ethereum. |

How would the community feel if an ICO in the US complied with the SEC, FINRA, and FINCEN regulations, and got the nod from the SEC, to run the ICO? Obviously everything would be spelled out and transparent to the community in the whitepaper on how the company would run the business and how the funds would be distributed. But if the US Federal government was ok with the ICO, would the community invest? (obviously if they were interested)
They would invest in the ico, But do you have seen about the recent news that some firm in the US are developing the exchange sites to the security token? That was look good in my opinion. As you can see the problem is about the SEC compliant about the icos that some are not meet the standard. |
