1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 20, 2023, 05:53:09 PM
The happy gambler is one who forgets and forgives, who does not have any emotional need to count of lost money and the "what if" of their gambling sessions.
True.

That's why for the gamblers that don't have much to think of what they're up to, they're just there to enjoy every moment and cent that they gamble.

No heart feelings but that doesn't mean that they don't have emotion.
and those are the gamblers that we can call responsible gamblers and this is that I can call myself as well. enjoying is the main objective , and winning or luck is just a bonus. try not to ask  for more but to have fun and happiness.
no hard feelings , and no complaining after playing .
how many times that we gamble and play? so its time to realized what we are missing and that is to understand that gambling isnt the place for us to become rich.
Still many think that through gambling, their dreams will become true and one of it was the last one that you've mentioned about being rich.

It's a common thing to think that people that are gambling are rich people. But there goes that are not rich but tries to aim their goals through it.

Just enjoy it and you'll eventually see that you're winning and there's no pressure to put on your mind but it changes based on how much your bankroll is.
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 20, 2023, 04:05:07 PM
Monopoly is everywhere done by the oligarchs. It's hard to lose them as it's everywhere and the government will always have to go along with these big people because they bring money to their country.

But to address the issue of the rise of price of every good, the government needs to do something like giving subsidies to the manufacturers or those merchants so that there will be a discount.

In that solution, it will allow the market to move until everything has been set to the low price because it's just good for short term sustainability.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when you look at your first Bitcoin wallet? on: September 19, 2023, 11:09:36 PM
Don't be depressed looking at it but be happy that you're able to know Bitcoin and you're able to use that with the actual use that you intend to.

I know that it's a hard thing to think of the early days and you're a spender but don't get it wrong. You have what you got by that time and that's the true value and use that you should be happy for.

While looking at it, it's time for you to have a separate holding of Bitcoin that you'll consider to hold it for a long time so that regret and depress you're experiencing has a solution already.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 19, 2023, 09:04:40 PM
When it's not that fun anymore based on how you perceive the fun that you'll get through gambling, it's just the best idea to stop.

The happy gambler is one who forgets and forgives, who does not have any emotional need to count of lost money and the "what if" of their gambling sessions.

1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 19, 2023, 07:51:26 PM
That is the reason why a gambler should maintain himself on his posture when he gambles. Posture in a manner that mentally and emotionally, he's in control.

Because without controlling yourself, you're having a problem that only you have to deal with and also have to solve with. If you can't do that, you'll have hard time with your relationships and it's a domino effect even with financial strains as well.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most transparent, reliable and promising cryptocurrency at the moment on: September 19, 2023, 12:17:42 PM
our token that is truly honest and reliable.
When I hear this from the developers themselves, I feel that there's something off beat already and that makes me don't trust you guys.

That's kind of vulgar to say to "trust us" and we're all "honest" on this project in words. I haven't seen the entirety of your project but instead of introducing like that.

Work on it and show the world that you really are trustworthy because words are cheap.
1007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 19, 2023, 10:22:09 AM
What criteria do you use when buying and selling? Let's share some tips and expertise.

For me, the three most significant factors are as follows:
1. Bitcoin halving.
2. A decrease in currency value due to economic downturns.
3. Sustained participation and growth of investors.

Therefore, I make a continuous effort to stay updated with all the news to track numbers 2 and 3 consistently.
1. Bitcoin halving's effect is certainly going to make the price higher for BTC and majority of the crypto market and that's why it's always the best time to sell on that time.

2. Just like during the covid and war of Russia and Ukraine, those were factors that have probably also made a huge demand for BTC.

3. Simply the demand has increased over time.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: September 18, 2023, 10:16:05 PM
I have bought a property with my earnings and now it is still idle, while I am paying for its annual tax.  It is more of a liability to me since I am keep on spending while there is no inflow of money from it.
That's what will happen to properties that won't be used for rentals. They'll be parked and of no use as you'll be paying the yearly tax of it. However, you have to see the side of its appreciation.

So while it is parked, no cashflow is being produced. But, the value of it is increasing as that's the normal thing with lands that it appreciates also on a yearly basis.

And once you start to have it rented, you'll have two things there. Cash flow through rent and then its continuous appreciation.

Thanks for your tips as it's really gonna be helpful for the new gamblers out there. Because the number one problem that I am seeing with the new gamblers is the choice of the casino where they are ending up having some problems.

Checking the reputation of the casino where they'll gamble should be made before they gamble. It is because the opposite is being done by them, they only ask the community and check the reputation after they've been problematic with those.

The common pattern of new gambler is check for the casino that offers cool bonus > make a deposit > do research regarding the casino once they encounter already the problem.

They only do thorough research about casino reputation once they already have problem. In an event that they choose trusted casino and still encounter problem then they will just read the ToS later to find out the reason why they experience problem.

Newbie mistake is not doing research first or reading terms first before they deposit and play on the casino. Only few newbie will find this thread before they play since they are all excited to play then later on worry about the problem that they will encounter.
That's true and you know where they're getting these casinos and how they're landing to them? Through google search.

It's kind of sad because there are new gamblers that really does that and they only take their time in researching about that casino when they deal with problems as you've said.

But let's just hope that only a few of them or there will be no new gambler that will have that pattern and cycle when they find a casino.

Hey everyone, I came across this new DeFi project called Firepot Finance. Has anyone else heard about it?
No, and I don't think that you've just came across with that project because you're likely one of them.

Their mission and vision seem pretty ambitious, aiming to simplify the DeFi experience for everyone and promote decentralized ownership.
Yeah, typically that's what we get to heard from those people that are with and works for them. Anyway, these DeFis have been gone in the interest of many.

Why? Because of many vulnerabilities and hacks that happened on many of them.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My passion on bitcoin on: September 18, 2023, 10:54:43 AM
So if you keep hold your bitcoin for four years and halving arises in this duration of holding then you can easily take benefit out of it. Holding is not a difficult work but if your money is not needed for other activities.
That's the easiest and simplest explanation why we're telling people to hold for long term or until the next bull run cycle comes. I beg to disagree about holding as easy thing. It's actually hard and if you're not yet decided yet, you're going to play on your mind whether it's worth it or not.

It's hard but it's worth it as per experience.

Gold is better for short term because in previous week the price was not so good but now again it reaches the value more than the actual price so if someone put money for a month he can get the benefit easily from gold.
The traditional investors will argue that it's also good as an investment but the long term of it doesn't give much so as the short term.
1013  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 17, 2023, 06:09:35 PM
I think that I have seen a thread that has listed no-kyc casinos I just can't remember it now. But having this list will help someone who's looking for the non-kyc casinos but we have to be aware that it could change any moment.

They could become a compliant casino that only follows the orders of their regulatory body that they're subject for an approval for their license or anything sort of that stuff that affects their operation.

well, at the end of the day, it is still the responsibility of the gambler to check the site's terms by himself. as like with other review or listing sites, you can't guarantee that their information is also up-to-date and legit. so before registering to any casino, make sure you've done your due diligence and not relying the information from someone else's site. they can serve as a guide, but you still have the job to verify such info.
I agree, there can be some reviews that have been outdated already and that's why some info are no longer accurate. That's it's still us that will have to check them out as the typical suggestion of many, DYOR.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for a Wallet with Timer? on: September 17, 2023, 04:40:31 PM
I don't know if there's one in existence but why would do that? Just leave it there and manually don't touch it for the set period of time and you're still free to touch any time you may want to.

This isn't really a good idea but that's the least way of doing it through staking it but if that's not the one that you're looking for.

Just leave it as is and get back on it after several years.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 17, 2023, 03:28:34 PM
So for me, this is what pushes the Warrior to get a big man, to match up against this player specially in West and Dwight might be a perfect fit for the role.
Many agrees about Dwight as a good addition to the Golden State Warriors as their main big man to face other big men like Jokic.

Dwight is a traditional big man.  Trying to cover a center who plays like a point guard is exactly what they don't need.  Jokic is comfortable playing on the outside where Dwight gets lost on defense.  If Dwight signs it's for a role that plays around 10 minutes or so on the court.  It's not going to be the missing piece to beat denver.
Yeah, he may not be perfect for that but there could be some changes for this play if they're up against Denver. But since it's not just that they're going to be focusing with them, I guess that there's a lot of usage that they can do with Dwight.

Anyway, just because him and the Warriors had a meeting, that still doesn't guarantee anything at all. So, while it's not yet finalized then we will just have to let it go and let  Warriors do their thing.

But nice analysis, mate.

Some of the players that have been seen played in the FIBA world cup got their own respective contracts from NBA teams.

Well, it's another international stage and how much more it would be if it's the Paris Olympics next year. There will be more prospect for that tournament and for sure that there are already scouts out there waiting for the talents to show off.

So for me, this is what pushes the Warrior to get a big man, to match up against this player specially in West and Dwight might be a perfect fit for the role.

1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 16, 2023, 10:21:13 AM
The last one.

It's like when I am already winning and I think that I can win some more so I play and look for more other games to bet with. It's hard to control that moment when you're winning.

I think that's even harder when you're on that part than when you're losing because that's the drive for you to stop. Unlike when you're winning, you just can't stop because you're thinking more positive.
I also feel that when I win, I have tried not to care about it many times. Unfortunately, I still have to practice a lot to control myself when I win so I won't be tempted to continue other gambling games. And that also happened when I lost because, with that defeat, I was prompted to continue gambling to recover the loss.

So, whatever situation we get, winning or losing, we might be tempted to continue gambling because that is a normal thing that can happen to every gambler. And that's why we have to be able to control ourselves and only learning can help us avoid the desire to continue gambling.

Among the many interviews I have watched with gamblers who have recovered from addiction, there is a common feature - they say that the danger of starting to play again remains with them for life. It's like a stigma that always stays with you, and you can't get rid of it - you feel that you have to control yourself, and you need to avoid all kinds of gambling. In no case can you even play on a demo account, this is one of the rules of self-control. It is believed that a demo account is one step towards starting to play for real money again. Of course, it is much easier to control yourself if there are native people nearby.
Having people that surrounds you to give you some warning and reminders will certainly help you out. It's like whenever you're itching and starts to crave to gamble, they are there to stop you.

But not at all times that they will be there and you still need to get on your own feet to avoid. It's hard to get rid of it but you have to overcome it not just with will power but also with acts.

As in do everything you can to avoid if you want to get rid of the addiction that's making you lose control of yourself and money.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 08:37:50 AM
The best IMO is you really have to tell that to one from your immediate family. And that's one whom you think can really be trustworthy but you don't show him your seed phrase as soon as you teach or tell him/her about your bitcoin investment.

If you think that you're going to be gone too soon, you'll make like a last will testament or some instructions on how to retrieve those bitcoins through the seed phrase that you're going to give to them.

One or two family members will do, again the immediate ones or the first degree and so on if you can't find someone trustworthy.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating an airdrop on: September 15, 2023, 10:18:08 PM
Aside from social media platforms, many airdrops are being done in the forum so that's an easy and cheaper way of releasing your airdrops and it's even for free.

Go to the Bounties (Altcoins) and you'll see bunch of projects that are doing their own airdrops together with their bounties too.

It's not just bounties that you can do there but also airdrops.

smiling while reading your post, as I also have this kind of mentality when playing, instead of quitting while still in positive that kind of thinking that maybe I'll try for one last time to add some more with my earnings.

Then you know mostly things will start the other way, you lose, then you will try to bet again till you notice
that you are already empty and there's nothing in your wallet anymore, and then it's just regret and nothing
else..
Thanks.

That's always the case and scenario for the most of us. We're too confident that we're not going to lose when we're winning and then the opposite comes to us. And when you finally realize it, it's too late.

I also feel that when I win, I have tried not to care about it many times. Unfortunately, I still have to practice a lot to control myself when I win so I won't be tempted to continue other gambling games. Yup, we're careless when we're winning.

That's like an ego setter as well for we think that we'll never lose or it's okay to lose because we've won already. But we're too vulnerable with our emotions when we're like that.
