1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Prevent been a crypto addict. on: July 12, 2019, 02:36:25 AM
honestly, it is getting serious that most people spend over 18 to 19 hours these days on systems and mobile phones watching the market, trading on the move with their mobile. the addiction is getting out of hand. i think i am probably getting into this kind of life.
what could be the possible means of prevention. i need to have my normal life back.

Is the kind of life you have right now is something you really do not want at all? If you really want to learn more about crypto and you simply want to keep yourself abreast of all new updates, there is no problem I guess. You simply have to reduce a few hours from it. Probably, you spend those exercising or doing something else apart from crypto. I myself am absorbed with this crypto thing.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 11, 2019, 01:09:31 PM
Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.

That is correct. Don't expect too much when you join bounties. Remember that the statistics is not on your side. At least 90%, at least in my personal estimate only, do not end up having any value. It is either they will just vanish into thin air or their coin will not be listed on any exchanges. Some are listed though but most of them with very low to no volume at all.

1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to move on ? on: July 11, 2019, 06:38:11 AM
Is there anyone out here facing same fate in bounties like I do?
Many bounties I've promoted ends up in delays one after the other and I'm getting tired of it ,I've been promoting projects since march 2018 and so far I can't say I have something to show for it . All I have is token value in ICO/IEO price ,no listed on exchanges..

Don't expect too much from bounties. In the first place, when you started your bounty here, there really is no guarantee that you will gain much from it. Same here, I do not expect too much from my bounties. I just joined discussions here, drop my 2 cents every once in a while, and read some responses. If we gain something from our signatures or other efforts, that would be a bonus already.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin crush the altcoins?! on: July 11, 2019, 04:04:35 AM
Bitcoin crush the altcoins definetly or the altcoins will bounce back like December 2017, January 2018?
What's your opinion?

There will always be a perfect time for everything, even here in the world of cryptocurrencies. The very bullish Bitcoin rally will be unforgiving to the altcoins. That is reasonable as people would definitely dump their altcoins to enjoy the Bitcoin ride. But altcoins will be their option after Bitcoin will reach its highest point. But as of now, it looks like everything is in blood, both Bitcoin and altcoins.
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: July 11, 2019, 03:44:41 AM
Here in my place, you can use your Bitcoin to pay bills such as electric and water bills. Internet and telecommunications bills could also be paid with Bitcoin. You can also use your BTC to shop online. I doubt if there is a physical store that accepts Bitcoin though. But you can definitely use your Bitcoins to eat at average and above average restaurants.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: If a pyramid runs forever, is it still a pyramid? on: July 11, 2019, 02:36:17 AM
Ponzi is simply taking the investment of a person to pay for the investment return of another person. If there are no more investors, their capacity to pay for the returns of their earlier investors will die. That is Ponzi scheme. But if the scheme is going to be mixed with registered and legit businesses with products, it is not Ponzi scheme anymore. That is what networking businesses are using as a strategy. And they are not considered illegal anymore simply because of their business products, which are actually fronts.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: July 11, 2019, 02:08:53 AM
I would rather choose all the four. I always look at real estate investments as the best investments. There are very few reasons why real estate investments depreciate. Bonds are also good but the interest is small. Gold is also one option but it is the least of all. Bitcoin is the most profitable of all of course. I will be investing big on it because the return may only take a few months.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep up to date on newest altcoins? on: July 11, 2019, 01:40:46 AM
How does one know which altcoins come out recently and thus are trading pretty good?  You can check coinmarketcap to see which coin has increased in price or decreased in price the most in last 24 hours or 7 days or month etc.  But besides that, are there sites that show what coins will be released soon to the public?  Thus by that i mean being able to buy from exchange like binance etc.

I doubt if there are newly-out coins that are immediately listed on Binance. If you want altcoins that have just received the nod of Binance, you better follow the news from Binance themselves. They will release such.

Anyway, coinmarketcap is one option. But if you really want to know which coins will be released soon, you may have to check at the Announcement thread of this forum, under the alternate cryptocurrencies. These are new projects whose coins have yet to hit the exchanges.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 10, 2019, 01:25:08 PM
I am just a beginner of this forum, curious how to find a promising bounty campaign because of the many good projects but at the end of the campaign being a scammer,

1. Check Team
2. Check Concept
3. Check Partnership
4. Check Media Press
5. Check Sales IEO

Whether to follow the bounty must know 5 above it so that the bounty we follow does not lead Scamerr,

What is your opinion?

It is great to hear that someone new is very determined to end up on a promising project that he has to do some checking of the background. However, always remember that this is just the surface. The follow up questions would be, what specifically are you gonna look at the team? Which particular information or detail you want to consider significant in their concept? Or how do you gauge a valuable partnership?

1012  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin and altcoin on: July 10, 2019, 10:02:02 AM
in these days bitcoin had a strong rise, but the other coins seem to be standing at the stake, is there a reason?
do you think that the whole market can be resumed? or will most of the altcoins fail in these months? sorry for my english=)

The altcoins will indeed suffer for a while because of a very bullish Bitcoin. It is going to be a red sea of altcoins for the next weeks or so. But of course there will always be some little spikes. It will never be about free fall. Altcoins are always great choices. When the smoke of Bitcoin rally goes down, be ready to buy a lot of altcoins because their turn will follow.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 10, 2019, 08:30:28 AM
I will really doubt Warren Buffet doesn't understand somethings about bitcoin since bitcoin has been making waves and have over the years made people multimillionaire. I think he just choose not to support the idea for the time being, probably he feels it's going to give too much power to the people.

I think so. Warren Buffet, one of the world's richest man not having heard of Bitcoin? I doubt. Bitcoin must have already reached every billionaire's ears. It's just that Bitcoin is never Warren's cup of tea. We all have our own way of interpreting opportunities and trend, and Bitcoin is apparently something unconvincing to this old man's taste.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia, Philippines, Indonesia and India support crypto the most on: July 10, 2019, 04:08:36 AM
don't u find it weird? The less eveloped counties support blockchain implementation the most? what is the reason? possibility to earn or to steal?

Link to the article: https://ambcrypto.com/indonesia-russia-philippines-and-india-among-countries-whose-citizens-actively-support-budding-crypto-projects/

It is weird and even if the article suggest so I wouldn't trust just everything I read. It makes no sense for these countries to lead the crypto, I mean we all know it started it countries far from these. I'm sure these developing countries are also using cryptocurrency but no way near the level of the power leaders such us US, UK and other European countries.

The article is a garbage, so is the OP.

"Less developed countries support the most...?" In the first place, Russia is not less developed at all. And "the most"? That's really weird on you to even thought of it. Have you realized how much Bitcoin is thriving in Singapore or Korea or Japan in Asia alone? And how about "to steal"? Supporting blockchain implementation to steal? What planet are you coming from, OP?
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Holders ,be calm on: July 10, 2019, 03:39:39 AM
Altcoins will always have their own time. Not for now. They all make way for Bitcoin to perform well in the market. Let us all support Bitcoin because it is the one and only king of all the cryptocurrency kingdom. But it does not mean that altcoins will sacrifice forever. The moment Bitcoin will begin its correction and dumping happens, the altcoins will surely rise.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin dead? What's happening? on: July 10, 2019, 02:43:53 AM
Litecoin, dead? Are you joking? Litecoin is very much alive and kicking. And it has just pumped really hard. There will be some retracement and corrections that follow of course. That is something inevitable, and you will add to it the fact that Bitcoin is again very bullish thereby affecting the altcoins move upward. But dead? Never. Litecoin is top 5, my friend.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: July 10, 2019, 02:24:03 AM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.

We cannot totally eliminate fiat currencies. That is a gargantuan task that will take several generations to fulfill. Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general may actually succeed as a mainstream payment alternative. But it does not mean that fiat currencies will be vanished fully. Rural areas are much thicker than urban ones. And even some urban areas do not have internet.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scrabble: "Bitcoin" already included in it's 6th edition on: July 09, 2019, 01:56:48 PM
Oh, Scrabble is by all means more advanced than a lot of central banks and governments. Bitcoin, even cryptocurrency, is still virtually unknown to the world of bankers and politicians. Scrabble is open-minded. Its vocabulary is very much mainstream. We will be expecting crypto words such as Ethereum and HODL soon.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: July 09, 2019, 01:16:33 PM
Great explanation without using much words. I commend you OP for this very simple yet comprehensive advice. I think this is enough for everyone to get reminded of the things that should not be forgotten once starting to trade and/or invest. There is no better investor than one who is careful in every step of the way.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: July 09, 2019, 12:35:16 PM
Do not be afraid to commit mistakes but please do not commit mistakes without counting the cost. It is one thing to commit a mistake and get up, and quite another to commit one and will not be able to rise again. I have seen newbies totally discouraged to continue with trading in their first few days because they lost everything. That kind of mistake is never acceptable. Well, margin trading, that is.
