I have some btc in my wallet and I believed in best but yesterday I watched some crypto news and everything seems to be even worse than I expected.
Some crypto experts told that till the end of the year Bitcoin will lose 50% percents and will come to 2500-3000$..
I don't know whether to believe in it or not.. There are so mane predictions these days.
What do you think about it? Is it still worth holding or it's time to sell everything and forget about it?
So just because the value of bitcoin will fall upto $2,500 meaning thay this is dying?How stupidity is this?and who are those experts that you are saying?Can you name them so maybe we could look for their legitimacy? Put this in your mind,that even if the value of bitcoin drops to $100 we dont care because this crypto starts with price below a penny so this is not the proper way to treat this great coin |

I do not intend to create a FUD, nor I want to speculate. This is my logical analysis and you are welcome to question it.
The last surge in December 2017 was when mainstream media started covering Bitcoin and a "lot" of new investors/traders/oppertunist started talking about and started looking into it
October 2018 ICOs have failed, most of the ALTs are below their ICO price. That means, Now there are less Fool and people have started understanding the concept. no more Sheeps to slaughter ... Much harder to manipulate price (or atleast people are aware of it.
So, Where will the bull run come from?
As an example, Think like --- Lots of people were hodling when Bitcoin touched 20K.... But now repent doing so... 100% if Bitcoin price surges to even 9000$, they will dump knowing there will be again a correction.
This is what I analysed logically. I may be wrong. I hope I am wrong.

Well, everybody is expecting the bitcoin price to skyrocket again just like the last year 2017 but instead, the bitcoin is full of surprises. The majority of the people around the world are expecting the bitcoin price to reach $10,000 at least but it is currently going downwards maybe it will fall down to $3000. what is your take on the current bitcoin situation?

I am a bit broken hearted now i know like i know emotions have no place in trading. I am trying my best not to feel a thing but i was so delighted when it went $177 thought that is just paving the way so bull can enter. Now i dont really know when ETH would be tired of going down and finally starts to climb up.
What about now?when this $109 value is keep on dropping i am wondering what is your feeling right now Dont expect any climb these days,and dont even wait for the next year because this market will keep on dipping until we reached the bottom,and for me it will be by 2020 and this two consecutive years will onky bring paing in our asses |

We are all waiting for the bull run at the end of 2018. But nobody can say for sure, that the bull run will happen this year. The only thing we can do now is to hodl our coins and hope for the green market as soon as possible. But it is also possible that bulls will come first in 2019.

There are 1624 currently active cryptocurrencies and more than 100 cryptocurrencies exchanges working right now in 2018.
With so many cryptocurrencies in the market Without regulations I feel there should be some body to legalize only a few , since its not like the more the merrier!
It just increases risks of any Fraud.
Small companies often are at a risk of shutting down with so tough competition.
The reason why the percentage of market Bitcoins dominates isn't exactly because they got less investors now , it's just because with so many currencies around the globe it's getting saturated and distributed .
Only some of them would be successful like 10-20 but with this tough competition it's risking people's investments and both these small small exchanges.
I strongly believe that a regulatory body should tackle this and then make a decision.
I think is negative in it's own way.

I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come
So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
YOu should have added KOREAN language because they are one of the dominant country today,and with south and north korea comes to be in good terms and may both conquer the market in sooner time they must be added as choices because they are my choice and ofcourse japanese ,these two languages for me is more appropriate than chinese word to learn |

The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.

We will survive through this, we have been in worst situation a lot of times but bitcoin did recover.
Don't think that it's majority of the people are dumping their tokens, these are just the whales trying to shake the market so they can take

Totally agree with you. I think most newbies (even someone who has been trading 6-12months) see this price action and gets fed up and sell off. The most resilient and patient hodlers know how to push through these bear market periods and the savvy traders are happy to see that volatility is back finally. Now, crypto is a currency people can choose to use. They don't have to. We need to build it as good as possible so that people who choose it, can. And those of us who want and have time and resources, focus on building good showcases, demonstrating that it works. Is rapid adoption that necessary? We need to be able to learn as we scale upwards. Right now, we're in the middle of the development after having learnt that "on-chain isn't the be-all end-all scaling solution". Eth went as low as $177 today from $223 just almost a week ago and almost every coin in the market are bleeding. Does this hard dump signals the hard bounce or possibly the bull approaching? Or did i miss some news. I am just so curious.
THis happens affecting from the bitcoin cash fork,maybe investors transferred the investments from other coins to the most safest one and that is bitcoin Ethereum is almost below $100 now and no indication of growing this soon.but your maybe right about the hard dump and maybe a hard bounceing also,hopefully it will happen this following year of sooner |
