10021  Economy / Services / Re: i want to sell my Youtube channel in 1.5 bitcoin edit decrease price to 0.15btc on: July 07, 2017, 04:04:53 AM
Good luck with your sale but 70 subscribers is not even the right side of 100 and really 200 would be a small amount still.   If anyone is interested I have over 400 :p but unfortunately its not that significant anything below 1000 is probably a hard sell in my experience.   Maybe you can post up your stats page showing daily views, I think this is a more valuable statistic and might get people interested in your channels revenue potential.

Years ago Youtube used to pay more in advert revenue, times got tough in some ways on the little creators .  Its all 'top 10 best ever' videos if you want my advice at getting quick money.  Make a top 10 ways to make fast money video and add some music.  Like those get rich schemes you have to send off a 'small fee' to receive details, ironical it works
10022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: July 06, 2017, 03:51:57 PM
I think its the other way round.   The fastest rising coin is the most expensive to gamble with maybe.   The reason being if you lose ETH and its gone up 25% in a few days your loss looks far worse, especially if it was your last gamble of the day and then you come back and the value has risen over night.

Bitcoin or ETH is ultimately similar value just in different numbers, same as any currency, euro or Yen doesnt matter if the number is high.   Its also how easily I can get hold of that currency, more miners are in ETH so really it should be more available and people could just gamble what they mine.
10023  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: July 06, 2017, 12:00:30 PM
Really the biggest gains are from holding it.  Just immediate mining can be ok but as difficulty changes and price with supply and demand that is when your mining last month appears very profitable.

I am personally a miner, and I keep all I mine. I just sell from times to times what I need to pay for the electricity but that's all. Time said me I was right and with my predictions in the crypto-currency market, I will be right another time.
Not sure about holding for very long amounts of time though because electricity bill can be large and the price can always fall back down.   I wouldnt carry from year to year without selling because of that, month to month is ok till time for paying off costs.    Recently bitcoin and many coins in general have been appreciating.
This makes 2016 look like an excellent time to have been saving or holding coins.   Its doubtful holding mining from now till next year will look just as good as that.  Its not impossible but I imagine at least growth slows down.

I always swap some crypto over to gold, its price trends over decades and has been a way to hold value a long time.  I think of that money as asset money more then spending money, for times you need security and deposits more then paying bills.      Always hold some I agree but never hold all one thing Smiley

What coin are you mining.  Could be just a problem with that blockchain being delayed.   I'd wait a little longer then 12 hours before being certain I can ignore years of use this must be scammer and I only I realised it

so unlikely that 'suddenly' Gold shoots higher while it is about the most hated asset class for now.

It would not be so sudden really.  Major central banks in countries with positive trade balance are building up gold reserves for over a decade now.   It is a thing in limited supply despite industrial progress in mining so it does take some time.   I've read that China is the worlds largest producer now and also likely the world largest purchaser of gold since China does not export gold that would be the fairly straight forward conclusion.

I see it like an iceberg situation, its in plain view the open appreciation of gold and its concealed just to extent of what is happening.  Hard to describe what is not stated openly, relative to trade Dollar is over valued its become part of global currency flows.  Obviously just by itself its value would be more correct and far lower, you can then by that measure say gold would be a higher price.   China does not want to openly declare or raise gold price while buying such large amounts, they also purchase gold mines taking ownership of assets in ground.
10026  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: July 03, 2017, 07:27:49 AM
Dollar staying above useful assets in value doesnt make alot of sense.   If we come up with free energy then perhaps strange things happen otherwise we'll see price of wheat, energy and other 'stuff' we do use rise above dollar.   If US growth were superior to world growth (demanding those items) why arent they repaying any debt, why not close the budget deficits, where is the employee pay growth.   The dollar is not strong, dont really believe it imo

An interest-free debt owed to oneself that is rolled over from year to year is effectively void – a debt “jubilee.” As noted by fund manager Eric Lonergan in a February 2017 article:

The Bank of Japan is in the process of owning most of the outstanding government debt of Japan (it currently owns around 40%). BoJ holdings are part of the consolidated government balance sheet. So its holdings are in fact the accounting equivalent of a debt cancellation. If I buy back my own mortgage, I don’t have a mortgage.

That would be debt cancellation if the money used to buy back the debt were tax receipts and it was just the case that Japan had a budget surplus.   But if BOJ is printing money to cancel this debt, thats QE isnt it.    Its not magical, there are effects to doing that.   They will lose value or least any Yen users not within the loop of new money will lose value.

If Japan loses control of their own domestic currency, it seems they will stand to lose more then they gained from the debt issuance to begin with.   If one day they replace old Yen with new Yen then I guess its a repeat of history elsewhere, maybe its a positive in some sense.  Probably superior to the Greek mexican standoff.

Thing is with Japan, they hold 1 trillion of US treasuries.  I think they dont do this in isolation, this isnt just Japanese domestic policy and of course everybody has their own QE now.  We joined the hatters tea party a while ago
10027  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: July 02, 2017, 09:54:48 PM
Never heard of Gann, think I would prefer to project Fibonacci levels based off of 2013 could be valid guidance possibly.     Seems we might be drawing similar trends based on the higher lows over the last few months.  Smaller bounces would match a constricting range coming to a head I guess

Here is a FIAT market trader who has taken an interest in ETH and BTC charts for a while now.   Roughly I agree with their conclusions: https://twitter.com/NicTrades/status/881560174414233602

They have projected $3200 and $465 should we see a breakout upwards.   I'd imagine its not that easy and we see a false start to any rally.   The recent downtrend I have is only for June, its not big enough pressure to see a 50% gain is it.   I would guess we live in fear of round numbers and have to dance with 3000 first.

If I presume China is the reason we are at these levels and looking for negative action but a positive support level;  I see a downside target at end of May prices roughly, if falling to that level and confirming it as a bottom I still believe that fits into an overall positive story for bitcoin blockchain progress however the news and protocol consensus is proceeding at that time.

Looking at bifenex, its positive, above an old downtrend.  ceiling to beat at 2489 and 2600 is a 24hr target and that'd be very positive as its already appearing to beat a negative trend.   All that is shorter term then the charts linked above
10028  Economy / Speculation / Re: WALL Observer : BTC/USD price tracking and discussion (Phoenix Revision). on: July 02, 2017, 05:27:47 PM
Stamp has a negative trend roughly showing lower highs for June.   Its right at that ceiling now, a break above that should show further rises I think as we are less capped.

I dont think segwit is a sell the news type dynamic if it is actually enabling greater transactions, this is a positive event and volume of trade is rising.   Doesnt then match a top in sentiment, we have already had many doubts expressed in the price and selling repeats at these prices.    Overall that selling is a positive to confirm and build up volume above 2000 which overall is new ground.   I still dont think we are negative, very hesitant compared to the previous positive trend though.

Also Stamp is fairly clear in a longer pattern of higher lows, they are spread out further though and each represents higher volume at those times also.  i would guess thats the stronger trend, watch 2440 for that reaction
10029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BLK/BC) | PoS | No ICO on: July 02, 2017, 09:42:45 AM
LN for Blackcoin Ive not heard that, its already fast and has capacity still.  Shame if that idea is not feasible anyhow, a quick skim of that article I guess the very uneven coin distribution is true and a problem if its p2p which relys on equality of a common asset shared?

I was trying to set Lore on a vista install.   Ideally I would nuke this particular machine from orbit anyhow but I didnt get it working, is anyone on vista with lore just wondered

Can I mine this or only POS now?

Its been stake only for more then a few years.   What you can do is mine these other alt coins and swap them to blackcoin on an exchange.  Just recently the price came back a bit, that should be quite reasonable strategy to build up a holding if you want and hopefully you can choose what ever protocol is more profit for your hardware brand.
If you want I can direct you to an auto switching pool site, been open for a very long time and seems to be pretty good management and they just put you onto the best coin while you are afk.
10030  Other / Meta / Re: What to do with the wall observer thread? on: July 02, 2017, 03:27:53 AM
Thats a very active thread, it would be alot for one person to be totally responsible for it but if the OP is awol then doesnt take much for an improvement.

I must have high tolerance because Ive seen far worse, depends how badly we rate emotional posts of yippe its gone up.  If thats spam then yea its spammy but thats a kind of gauge to sentiment.   Ditto when people moan so much, btc is never going up again then you know people have given up trying and its some use to know if people somehow view 2000 negatively.

Going on that its probably going to require two threads.   One actual commentary on price movements,  attempts to label or characterise the market gait.   Another thread for purely people happy its gone up and, to the moon type spam
10031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2017, 04:58:48 AM
Gaming circuits would be like using a fork to drink your soup with right now.     I would rather they kept the calculation so complex it always needed a computer but thats not how it went,

Some miners have access to free electricity i think, they wont turn off immediately.  The setup is the main cost for many I think, overheads like alot of business done.  Means you operate a loss sometimes and carry on.

I said I'd be more positive if we broke a negative channel which is what it did though I wasnt watching.   It could be still viewed as negative some at $2,500
Maybe look at stronger dollar and that idea when considering direction, as is relevant to many prices.   However I believe dollar is generally weaker, Fed rate remains below inflation.
Kraken regained above a previous negative trend
10032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BLK/BC) | PoS | No ICO on: June 27, 2017, 08:42:25 PM
Isnt Raspberry less then the average android phone, is it not feasible to stake from a phone.   I dont use mobile alot but I'm just thinking of all those people with expensive phones and its basically a computer, maybe their only one.  Its  mobile connection would be most of the reason why maybe.

Seems important to repeat, double check here on new sites and send small amounts on anything new.

I guess the person asking about weight already knew about this in the corner -

I have used the dump and import wallet and it helped btw.  Stake shows on explorer now though its maybe stuck on display, not sure.  Progress anyhow    [Display updated after like 10 hours to show the stake confirmed]

Bitcoin down some in its short term and medium term takes longer to observe, sells on bigger coins seems to weigh on all coins but blk is still within a positive trend even if its lost some of that lead it had
10033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2017, 06:33:48 AM
Has Bitfinex got past that loss?

Some continued weakness I think, below $2500 I think shows lost momentum upwards.  Kraken has regained some of its trend, but only beating a previous downtrend line in its reversal.   Huobi looks like its forming some path down for now at least to a lower level of support.  Putting in a lower higher is more bearish looking but thats not yet completed just looks to be doing that.

I drew in a regular channel down for bitstamp, if it breaks out Im more positive then
10034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BLK/BC) | PoS | No ICO on: June 26, 2017, 01:36:20 AM
I wouldnt bother saying normally because blk chart isnt that trendy, but its looking bullish now so worth piping up.  Sideways for a while, ceiling formed to that range.  Beats the ceiling, breaks range and you have quite good move up which means not that much beyond a flash unless it holds and it confirms.    So right now its trying to do that confirm previous ceiling as support and build into a proper gain.  Thats how I read it and my general opinion is bullish, I try not to be biased because thats pointless and hopefully I'll have the sense to add at least a little as Ive often failed to add to positive trends which is a mistake Ive made too often.

The machine I put to staking is the devil itself but I may have to mess around with that first as Ive not bothered to get it in order and then add some after that.
10035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: June 25, 2017, 10:59:45 PM
I dont see the progress of the currency affects the risk, you can always scale the amounts bet.    The rate of change might be relevant, you dont want to risk making a losing bet and find out tommorow the value has doubled making your loss greater then expected.

On the other hand sometimes people play all or nothing, maybe betting on the idea that if I dont get back my money now I'm going to lose more overall or have to substantially change my play/stop play all together.   Seems a risky mindset, bet small amounts and nothing too much relies on that one point in time.  If thats the case I dont agree with the OP about worth or rising value even being a problem
10036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 25, 2017, 10:57:53 PM
Price has not so far held the 2500 area especially.  To break support just like resistance is best done when confirmed and its in the process of trying to do that now.  Give it a few hours to decide, weekend effect maybe I dont know.

Huobi looks more positive and not only held support but advanced back above a ceiling

If I look at Kraken, similar decline but in perspective to previous downtrend its looking better for confirming that line as a bottom.   Appears more optimistic and maybe 2225 to confirm that positivity is enough to regain support and build further.   2169 to hold would match recovery after mid june pullback
10037  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: June 24, 2017, 08:37:37 PM
I hate to say it but FIAT has more backing to it then bitcoin.   There is no direct link to gold or any metal but theres no doubt governments carry many assets and a small amount is in gold and other metals.

Famously USA has the Fort Knox vault which holds :
As of April 2016, Fort Knox holdings are 4,582 metric tons (147.3 million oz. troy).[11] At the rate of $1,226.60 an ounce[12] it is worth about $180 billion.

So dollars do have some backing its just that there are trillions in circulation that will never back up the current value attributed.   The other backing would be trade done, gov taxes trade so that also is a kind of system to back FIAT.
USA in that case has a trade imbalance and is lacking the correct backing for its currency on that front.   But its not the case there is none, we might see a slip in confidence because USA has too much debt.   That will cause upset and a fall in dollar value.   Bitcoin has no debt like that so generally it should gain from that weakness.

Since the start of this thread, we saw great price gains for BTC.  Its fairly clear we can get to 10,000 and FIAT will be no where close to collapse in most parts of the world.  I hope Venezuela people can get past their troubles and find a new exchange of value, I dont think bitcoin will take over exactly but some are alive partly thanks to it I have read
10038  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: June 24, 2017, 07:41:01 PM
He can buy anything even a house where the seller isnt wanting to accept bitcoin.  Just like a Japanese dude with Yen can buy a house in France with Euro.   The man with the Yen just has to convert and will incur costs and some risk while doing so and so to is the bitcoin holder in a similar position.

If it was me I would sell the crypto for gold with a particular firm that accepts it directly, cutting out some fees.   Then I would use that firm to establish a checking account linked to Visa and this is how I could buy a house in any part of the world because they are established in monetising gold like that.    However I wouldnt be surprised if some firms for bitcoin will do this and skip the gold holding part maybe,  Anyone who is dealing over 50,000 of worth in dollars say can pretty much phone or contact any firm and they should make an effort to try and meet his needs, it'd be quite unfortunate if nobody out there handles a purchase.  I believe its only a question of fees, the way I mention is under 5% fees for sure maybe much less
10039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 24, 2017, 07:06:59 PM
Peg it to gold, how will you commonly state value.   I agree, I hope we dont define the world by FIAT of just one country and a country which doesnt balance its trade or its national budget is probably not a stable gauge no matter how meetings are held in that hope.

I mean we could have a bi metallic standard in crypto.  Bitcoin and a minor coin its stated relative to, must be some way to find a ratio that reflects the market?
10040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 24, 2017, 06:59:52 PM
Huobi lost a positive trend over the last couple days, I drew this in very loosely.  If I could draw in some lines in faint pencil this would be one.   Bitfinex seems to be meeting an old downtrend at 2500 and also this is previously a support line.  This would be a decent line in the sand to tell the tide I think.  I think it 2470 area that was being mentioned alot so its a fair area in a battle for direction to be found.
18737 CNY is somewhere we should be holding overnight for a relatively strong price and 19407 CNY I would rate as very positive.

Overall market pulls back but I rate it positive and just normal selling, confirmation of prices.   Its not good to rise without shaking out weak hands first
