10061  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if ... on: June 29, 2016, 08:21:45 AM
What would I do if I had $1.000.000? It depends on the things which I can buy on it. I could have 1 million $ on an uninhabited island and there any money would be useless for survival. Or it could be enormous inflation, so 1 millon $ then would be equal to our 1$. However, if everything would be fine and 1 million $ would be equal to real 1 million, on which I can buy something, I think I would do some investment to keep money along with my life.
10062  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Army a threat to Pax Americana? on: June 29, 2016, 08:12:08 AM
Putin has changed Russia - he's given capitalism to farmers for example.
You can't have capitalism without capital, and the west is busy transferring wealth into the hands of the bankers. They don't invest in industry any more.

Frankly inwardly I don't have much criticism to his reign... If only they could only focus on Russia and not waste resources and lives troubling the empire it would be great... Sadly they believe that supporting Assad makes Russia stronger... Completely desillusional.
I think Russia joining European world and not trying to be against it is just a matter of time. So, I guess, they'll stop supporting Assad finally
10063  Other / Politics & Society / Re: European Army a threat to Pax Americana? on: June 29, 2016, 08:09:09 AM
As for me, Europe is quite peaceful for ruining Pax Americana. Even if they have some confrontations, I don't think they are4 serious enough to be a threat for peace
10064  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there sudden rise in right wing extremist? on: June 28, 2016, 01:27:47 PM
It might be their last step made in  the agony before death, because I guess the left wing wins
10065  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why some countries are lucky and some appears to be less so on: June 28, 2016, 01:26:22 PM
I suppose it doesn't actually depend on a country and everything (in most of cases). It's just that some people are happy in the poorest conditions and some are facing depressions in best ones
10066  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe the news ? on: June 28, 2016, 01:12:25 PM
I almost certainly convinced that there is no independent media and truthful news. But that doesn't mean that we should stay away from the news. More likely that we should estimate every media and news on the subject of independence and truth despite the fact that complete truth and independence as well as their opposites are impossible.

10068  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is your opinion about this life? on: June 28, 2016, 01:01:50 PM
1. My life purpose is to live my life. The purpose of life is a life itself
2. Dying as a block of life is undesirable. However, I believe that death as eternal stop of life is impossible. More likely that phenomenon we called death is just a very deep dream, after which another life will necessarily awake.
3. We're living in this world just to be alive. With our life, our existence we confirm general existence, we justify being over non-being.

The war on drugs is failing – decriminalisation is the only way forward

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jun/23/war-on-drugs-failing-decriminalisation-prohibition

<< It is generally accepted that the international "war on drugs" has had devastating and far-reaching consequences. These include public health crises, mass incarceration, corruption, and black market–fuelled violence. Even the United Nations Office on Drug Control (UNODC), responsible for monitoring and managing the international drug control conventions, acknowledges failure resulting from the creation of "a criminal black market of staggering proportions" that is a fundamental threat to global security.

On Sunday, the UN will promote the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, otherwise known as the International Anti-Drugs Day. Each year, the 26 June becomes an expression of global solidarity and determination to combat and eradicate drug abuse, and champion the "war on drugs". This year's theme is benignly titled Listen First, and attempts to encourage listening to children and youth in order to prevent drug use and protect their health and safety. It is a particularly apt theme, given the news this week of the three 12-year-old girls who were taken to hospital in Salford after having taken ecstasy pills marketed as "teddy" pills.

This recent incident highlights the flaws in prohibitionist drug policies, enshrined in the UN conventions. It is an example of how criminalising drug use can cause more harm than good. Drugs sold on the black market have no age restrictions, no labelling, no instructions for use, and for the most part you can't be sure what you are buying. Many of the health risks associated with drug use result from the fact that drug production and drug use is unregulated and controlled by black market forces. People take too much, don’t get help quickly enough, take adulterated substances, and are poorly educated on the substances they are taking. Additionally, new psychoactive substances ("legal highs") pose problems because health agencies have no idea what is in them, or how to deal with them when something goes wrong. >>

Decriminalisation seems the best solution to me, because I think adults shouldn't be forbidden to do something to their own health. As far as a person is not making crimes, this person can take whatever he/she wants
10070  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War against Iran is (not) necessary because... on: June 28, 2016, 12:52:49 PM
1) it will nuke isreal
2) it will nuke Saudi Arabia
3) it will nuke itself
4) it's impossible to do business with the mullahs there is no jurisdictional stability and too much corruption
5) it's fun when the goal is total destruction when taking all living things there as ennemies to be obliterate
6) good training
7) good tv shows
Cool good movies later
9) to free the women ;-)
10) it's a nice destination to visit
11) take revenge for all the fallen in Irak because the Shia are one block
12) liberate Iraq from Iranian control
13) test new weapons and tactics
14) make money rebuilding the country
15) the fun of war, advancement and other opportunity to apply the training
16) show the world who has the deadliest military force ever assembled
17) sending people to the afterlife in mass
18) getting the gas and oil for free

Your opinions? Can you add more? Or are you a supporter of the Shia?

The war is not necessary in any case, I guess, because it isn't really a solution of problems.
But considering a strong suni movements, it is nice to have a shia opposition, I suppose
10071  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which country will be next to alight from the sinking EU ship? on: June 28, 2016, 12:48:52 PM
I voted for Belgium, because of those terrorist attacks. I guess it's enough of these problems with immigrants for them and people pretending to be immigrants and actually being terrorists.
However, if Belgium quits, is there going to be EU?
10072  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: June 28, 2016, 11:28:23 AM
I believe in them just as much as in zombies, vampires, witches or mermaids. Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean I don't believe in aliens. I just think they all have a hypothetical existence, a potention to really exist and be observable. But as long as there aren't certain evidence for it, they don't actually exist
10073  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Antivirus are you using? on: June 28, 2016, 11:26:25 AM
Antivirus software is needed for Windows users, where users have wide authority to open some suspicious executable files, but in any Linux OS there is division between user and super-user (root). Most of time you're user and you can not open any suspicious file, but if you want to open it, you enter super-user's password, become him and run any executable files under your responsibility. IMO, in Linux OS Antiviruses are needless since any file opens with awareness of user and nothing could be open without it. While in Windows OS Antivirus is a machine, in Linux OS it is a human. It means that the best Antivirus is human itself.
10074  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Handle Long Distance Relationships?? on: June 28, 2016, 11:21:19 AM
I've been with this girl for about 3years now, dating her online; but recently she says shes been numb and doesn't think i'm the one for her, even after all we have been through and the promises we've made. Is there anything I can do to fix this relationship because I love her a lot.
I think you better ask what she doesn't like in you and tell her that you love her. You have to rely on your views of the situation. Try to analyze your relationship and think whether she ever loved you and whether she still loves you and there's just some other kind of problem that spoiled your relationship. If after analyzing you conclude that she loves you (or, at least, still loved you not a long time ago), then do your best to get where she lives and meet her with flowers. If you cook well then cook something for her. Make it a surprise meeting.
If it's too expensive then try to send her a very touching letter (I mean a real letter, not an e-mail) and see what happens then.
Good luck!!!
10075  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BREXIT AND BTC HALVING on: June 28, 2016, 11:13:20 AM

Here:https://woodfordfunds.com/economic-impact-brexit-report/
"We continue to think that the United Kingdom’s economic prospects are good whether inside or outside the European Union."
Well, I think they might be right. It just sounds unbelievable that UK can actually stop being an important country..
About BTC... Is it actually halving? I thought it now costs more than a few weeks ago
10076  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you afraid of getting older? on: June 28, 2016, 11:11:52 AM
I think, fear of getting older in some way is exaggerated. People, you every single moment are getting older and older, but somehow you realize it only in such moments as now. If aging doesn't worry you most time of your life since you don't think about it, why it should worry you in such parts of your life, when you're thinking about your aging. Moreover, who said that aging is something bad? Maybe it is the only way to become younger, but in another strange sense. I mean, everybody wants to be young, but only few noticed that in old age we somehow are similar to very young. Like Nietzsche said, eternal recurrence of the same.
10077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coincidence that Sun and Moon seem same size or God's work? on: June 28, 2016, 11:05:45 AM

You do not understand evolution at all... I will explain

Evolution starts with small, random changes...

If the change is beneficial, the person will live longer, and have more sex, more children, spreading their genes
If the change is not beneficial... the person will die sooner, and not have many children

Great explanation... assuming it's true, can you please tell me who is in charge of these small random changes?

Please do not mention chance because I've never seen a piece of iron evolve into a pin ALL BY ITSELF!
And, by the way, even if we don't think about The One in charge of changes, there are other problems with evolution theory. I've watched a nice documentary on that. There they explained that such a complicated thing as a flagellum could not have developed slowly, because its parts were useless for organism and should have disappeared. That is why, it must've developed all at once, which doesn't seem very convincing.
10078  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There IS life after DEATH: Scientists reveal shock findings on: June 28, 2016, 10:58:07 AM
yes it is a fact. being Muslim we believe it that there is life after death. i think there are other religions who also have a strong believe that there is life after death.
Sure there are. Christianity, for examle) Or we can talk about Buddism where life actually begins after death, sort of
10079  Other / Politics & Society / Re: There IS life after DEATH: Scientists reveal shock findings on: June 28, 2016, 10:54:14 AM
I'm finding it hard to believe that there are people out there who ACTUALLY BELIEVE that nature came into existence all by itself!

I'm amazed at the population of those who believe so...

It's incredulous Shocked
Well, maybe, you're just not very familiar with some problems of the Evolution Theory. I don't think it is proved in a better way than Creationism. Or, rather, it is just a bit more appropriate for contemporary people. I'm quite sute in a few centuries people will make fun of us believing in evolution)
10080  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Spoetnik a Satanist? on: June 27, 2016, 01:09:32 PM
A satanist if I ever saw one

So what is wrong with that ?
Bill Gates has been a member of the Church of Satan for decades.. he turned out alright !
Plenty of famous members.. Sammy Davis Jr ..Google it if you don't believe me.

The Church of Satan is more an art organization than anything else IMO, so there's nothing wrong with it if someone has been a member of it. Bill Gates and other known figures haven't participated in murdering rituals or something like that, right?
