It's fine whatever rank will Cleveland Cavaliers landed since when the playoffs started, all teams will be 0-0. Im agree that Boston Celtics can be an East contender and maybe a finals contender since surely they can keep up with the teams that will take the spot from 5th to 8th.

The only teams I see that will take the East crowned are Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors. Yes other team/s like Washington Wizards can be a candidate too but still they didn't entered in my own analyzation being a standard bearer for the East.

C. If possible, buy while it still have negative change status if you know the trending will go up

They can consider that but take note that not every alt is not applicable to the idea of "hugging the FUD and negative news".

Unlike in bitcoin that we can take the FUD as good advantage to acquired coins in cheap prices, some other alts when experienced a price decreases will remain as like that for a long term and even not worth for day trading. There are already lots of regrets happened even they think that the trend will go up. That's how risky altcoin trade is compare to bitcoin trades.
10083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: March 01, 2017, 10:55:35 AM
So this is it, Andrew Bogut finally decided where he wants to go and chose Cleveland Cavaliers. After Deron Williams which came from the Mavs, Bogut follows but not a direct trade to Cavs since he was first traded to Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel and did some talks with the team so that he can landed to a contender team.

Well for me, Bogut is a great addition for the Center spot at the Cavaliers since we all know that their big man is not that consistent. Just make sure Bogut will come healthy till the end since he is an injury proned player and his dissapperance will give a big hole for the Cavs.
10084  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 27, 2017, 11:36:46 PM
After a long bull running it always happens a correction of price after this run. It is history proven and bitcoin is no different to this trend. The price is near 1200 dollars right now but I think the bull running will have a correction soon and price will be again in the three digits area.
I agree. The time is near for the correction.
What is all this talk about a needed correction is going to happen soon?

Something that is amist we the bitcoin community do not know about. We are being kept in the dark about something big that is going too or not going to happen?

I personall do not believe in all this talk about the ETF not being approved. Embarrassed

That is based on past performance. They must remember that past performance can't guarantee future results. It's obvious that we can expect a dump while price is experiencing a pump but don't ever compare it to what happen in the past that tremendous fall always happened. Yes it has possibilities but today is different. In the first big price decrease after the price breached above $1,000, IIRC the dipping point was established at around $800- and this is the correction price ( I said around, not exact $800).

Just let those expected news to happen since the most important factor here is how people will respond no matter what the news is.
10085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 27, 2017, 10:22:38 PM
Even with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins, looks like it was erasing all desires of some fans and speculators if New Orleans Pelicans will be able to enter the playoffs (it was posted here before that they are now a West contender lol).

Well we can see an active production for Cousins alongside with the monster performance of Anthony Davis but it needs more pump from their teammates and hopefully they will use this season as a warmup for next season target. They must consider getting some good players and make a revamp at their current lineup.
Its not all over for the Pelicans, they still can make it to the playoffs. Cousins and Davis together combined to about 70 points and they just need a good players around them. If they cant find good scorers, they can get some good defenders to stop the PG's and SG's of the opponents from scoring. Holiday needs to shine and Pelicans should experiment with their bench and call in some free agents giving them weekly basis contract or something.

I will consider that over for about 95% chance, why?

Pelicans played 60 games now and they only have 22 remaining games. They are sitting at 13th spot now at the West and they have to climb 5 spots to get on the top 8. It's kinda hard that even those rank 9th and 10th are struggling. To make room for the Pelicans at playoffs, those 5 teams that sitting at ranks 8-12 must be loss in all of their games but it's impossible to happen obviously.

Cousins arrival might be late but they have a big chance next season and that is really possible . That's why it's good for them to use this season to make more compatibility with Cousins plays.
10086  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 27, 2017, 09:59:11 PM

Why it is not the right place to post something about this site. It is an official ANN thread, people are free to post something as long as it is related to the site. If there is an issue, of course it is good to post it here because it is useful news for others who want to try the site. Would you prefer to see a clean thread without any negative feedback but in fact there are some serious problem on the site that may make you lose your btc?

What do you want, make a scam accusation in this thread or make an own thread regarding that scam accusation?

It's not wrong to made a related scam post here but it will just result for OP not to read that since I doubt they will read the whole replies since their last visit. The main scam post will be buried with lots of new replies since the discussion is general. Look at now, there are even posters quoting a whole post. That's why back then I suggest to one of the user here to make a scam accusation so that it will be intact on one single section and will easy to locate. And look the output is good and they settled the issue (although not that fair based on the side of complainant).
10088  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Platforms that sell bitcoin? on: February 27, 2017, 09:08:36 PM
There is nothing worst then using a centralized website where providing your ID and personal info is a must. I personally would prefer with ATMs or trading with individuals on some forums. Exchanges are only an option when the price is currently increasing and you need a fast way to sell and make profit.

Then it's not worst since you already mentioned what is the advantage of using an exchange which is not possible on a quick response when dealing with peer to peer transaction with other people.

As long as the exchange is a registered company, I don't mind giving my personal info since it's a important thing and can be a good help when there is fraud happening or any thing related to that that involves your account. Not an assurance though that everything will be fine but it's not wrong to consider that feature.

10090  Economy / Goods / Re: iPhone 6S for bitcoins? on: February 27, 2017, 04:10:56 AM
If it's in good conditions it can cost 0.5 btc or a bit more, but you need to show some evidences of your product. Hard to use it as collateral, you would need to send the iphone to the escrow to use it as collateral.
There are taxes to send it, you need to deal with the buyer, it's hard to say with sure how much it will exactly cost. Search for the average price on google before sell it. Since both parts agree, it's ok.

BTC0.5 for that "locked" IOS is a joke. If it's lock then it's totally useless unless the owner itself will unlock it. The use of that device now is to be autopsied by device technicians.

OP can't sold it especially on online world. If there is, that will be a cheap one. Better find buyers around their location than dealing on online. I will assume it's a stolen device.
10091  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: February 27, 2017, 02:07:43 AM
Hi ! First message here.

If a global disaster would happen on earth ( And I somehow don't wish it ) Would the value increase or decrease ?

I'm not talking about solar flares or EMP. But more like big wars or great natural disaster.

What are your opinions on the subject ?  Cheesy

Internet is the key to use bitcoin. So if such a case that there's a global disaster and internet is not affected then bitcoin can be used. But take note also that to access bitcoin, people involved must have a way to access it. In case of natural disaster, there is a so called power shortage because some lines might wrecked due to that natural disaster. About on big wars, how come people can access internet if power source or ISP station have been damaged.

And even with those things are not happened, cashing it out is a problem since I doubt there will be an open service like that while there's an ongoing war or disaster.
10092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody got password reset email from yobit and pocketdice? on: February 27, 2017, 12:17:11 AM
Can you guys screenshot the email content? I have received mine at Yobit days ago but I already deleted it but somehow I can still picture out the looks of that email. Just want to check if it's the same as yours.

I have got password reset email from yobit.net and pocketdice.io is this something related to recent cloudbleed bug in cloudflare? I have logged in both sites and everything was fine there.

The hacker may have tried logging in but couldn't because he may not have more info other than my associated email account.  Shocked
Will be better if you try to change your password. this is just to prevent your data gets leak.

Poloniex and CCEX are having such cases even prior to the recent bug happening in Cloudflare.
10093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 26, 2017, 06:24:05 PM
Free agent guard Deron Williams has cleared waivers and told the Cleveland Cavaliers he intends to sign with them. Williams was waived earlier this week by Dallas. He will give the defending NBA champions a playmaker they've needed all season and one LeBron James demanded.

Kinda mid-happy here since I like Deron Williams to be stay at the Dallas Mavericks. But it seems it's just fine now since Williams performance in their recent Mavs game is not that appealing. And no worries for the Mavs as the position that Williams will left is easily replaceable due to lots of guards in Mavs squad that showing some good stats now like Seth Curry, Yogi Ferrel and Wesley Matthews.

On the other hand, D. Will is a great addition on the Cavs as it will minimize the loads of Kyrie Irving. And Kyrie is more on shooting guard than a playmaker based on my view since he entered NBA. Let's see now if D. Will can meet the Cavs target plays.
10094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin trading bots, are they worth it? on: February 26, 2017, 05:48:45 PM
i have ben looking at two bots (GUNBOT and C.A.T.

and my question is pretty simple, are they worth it? and do they make a profit?? what setting are you using, and how much do you have on the exchange?

We will direct to your question if using trading bots are worth it or can even make a profit. If the execution is right then yes it's a profit since you will make a settings there and if it follows the path, it's a win.

But take note that you will use it in an  "altcoin" trades. Volatility here are having a much deep impact compare to bitcoin trades and much more if it will compare to stable currencies like fiat and other assets. Prices are heavily manipulated so in just a blink of an eye, you can expect a surprising move.

Above all of this, since you really preferred to use a bot (based on your last post above) then try it for yourself and experienced the actual situation of using it. You can now make your own conclusion and you can kindly shared it here.
10095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are dice sites reliable? on: February 26, 2017, 05:35:57 PM
There are many dice sites. Are these sites reliable?
So is it really the end of the bets based on luck? Or is it programmed to win the dice site?

Are dice sites reliable? Not all of them obviously and will be always like that.

Basically all dice winning bets are based on luck as it was facing the so-called provably fair system. So any strategies will not work as it was only a "decoration" to think that it will increase the winning rate. But not all dice sites have that provably fair feature so choose only a dice site that has a positive feedback. You can also consider some dice site that is running for a long time now but it doesn't mean that is the main factor when choosing a dice site.

Well lots of replies here now so I will assume you now have some insights about your concern.
10096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO obligations on: February 26, 2017, 05:00:01 PM
Hello everyone, I apologize if my question sounds silly.
Please tell me how the project team is responsible to the community?
As the project team can be punished for not fulfilling obligations?
Is there any guarantee that it will not disappear with the money collected?
Huh Huh

Any ICO project team must be responsible in their goal of having their respective project be success in the future. It will include community's trust since funding will came from the community. So as an exchange, make it worth the community's money. But it's not the scene sometimes since most of the ICO's (or I will say most of them), turned into fraud one bagging investors money and left.

There is no guarantee that ICO project team will not dissappear as the project goes by. That's how risky ICO investing is so for your comfortability, if you don't know what you are doing stay from ICO and you will minimize the risk of having your money loss.
10097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price on: February 24, 2017, 02:52:57 PM
Is it wise to buy in bitcoins now at a so high price($1171)?
Do you think it is going to rise a new high level?

If you are eyeing for a long term profits and believes that bitcoin will shine more in the future then you can have your extra ammos to be used to buy coins at the rate you mentioned. If you are on doubt don't use all your balls to buy coins.

If you think that the price is really high at your own preferences then it's up to you if you don't buy. There's no such thing as exact price to be considered as low and high so take the risk and face it.
10098  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 24, 2017, 01:59:22 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

If does we are sure then we can never experienced losses when dealing in trades.

Analyzations, technical analysis, speculations, fearless forecast, insider info, traders view etc. are just for references purposes and it doesn't giving anyone an assurance that they will make a succesful. But what important here is, those references I mentioned can really help to increase the success rate of "educated guessing" so it's a big factor when dealing in trades.

Hey,
I just saw a blog http://www.w11stop.com/blog-w11stop/bitcoin-w11stop related to bitcoin and wanted to know is it acceptable in Asia?

Thank You

I thought something like a thing or bitcoin related services if it was accepted in Asia. In general, yes Bitcoin is accepted* at most of the Asian countries but they have different views on this cryptocurrency legally.

Refer here to some insights of legality of bitcoin per country in the world and not just in Asia.

10100  Economy / Speculation / Re: is 2017 the new 2013? on: February 23, 2017, 04:20:52 PM
For the last two months bitcoin price has been dancing somewhere in the 1000 range.
I do not see that this is an overheated market like in 2013.
That bubble exploded within days there was no boouncing up and down over months.
At the moment, even if bitcoin falls again a little bit, you always find very soon people who consider the new lowered price as cheap.
That means the demand is really there, not a speculation. I say the developement is solid.

Since bitcoins are distributed well to "different persons" globally, we can say that to provoke a manipulation, it really needs a hard effort since big whales must inject a large amount to pump the price or sold a lot to dump the price. And still not an assurance that people will follow the trend.

In here we can really see the difference of the hype happened in 2013 to the current hype that is currently running today at 2017.

People response is one of the reasons why we are sitting on the price today.

i don't know who bumped these couple of rather old topics from last month but it is an important lesson to anybody who is reading this board.

You joined the party too.
