Yes there are hardly more than 6-7 running signature campaigns at any given time and to be honest I have to search for signature campaigns in Service section and not the other way around like op says.Though a separate sub section would be good but it is not pressing need
I tend to believe the opposite. Due to the amount of people participating in these campaigns, these threads get bumped up very often which pushes down the other services provided by users. 16 on the first page at the moment, considering there is only 40 items on the first page... thats 40%,
I'd say that there are definitely enough for their own section (as we can see from the overview thread, there are a lot of campaign threads at this time).

What's up with the absurdly high price? Graded ones went for much lower recently.

So, some idiot tried to scam me by double spending transaction. I don't release products in unconfirmed transaction. So as he was a scammer, he double spend and reverse his btc. But now when I'm trying to send my confirmed btc on that address, I'm getting error ( previous unspendable tx Id)
Just to make sure: You're trying to send Bitcoin from your address (13bdx4vXVH3gNwfpEnhihFw3e4LPNKRnWo) to somewhere else, and you end up with that error?
What wallet are you using?

I'm 1 year and 46 weeks behind now. Nearest I come during my other attempt was around 42 weeks behind. I was also making a backup wallet that time, so I have 5 backups now ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Well, you haven't really provided us with adequate information to come up with concrete ways to help you in addition to this being quite a specific problem. Your Bitcoin folder is not on an external disk, right? One of the forum members here warned me to send backup file to other.
Correct. Do not send the wallet.dat unless you plan on never using those addresses again.
|
|
|
I exite wallet first before rename wallet.dat to wallet.dat_original, then copied my backup, lommebok.dat, to BitCoinDat folder and renamed it to wallet.dat.
You're trying to say that you can't sync up with the backup wallet, but with the original wallet it works? Debug.log was so huge that it was not possible to open it.
You can open it, you just need better software to do so. Right now sync my Bitcoin Core 0.13.1 with the network, but without my wallet backup.
Good. As mentioned earlier, someone could extract your money from the backup one if needed.

there is my name, what is the purpose of all this? ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) You're a spammer. The purpose of this is to fight against signature spam at least within the campaigns managed by the participants.
My weekly update is ready.
|
|
|
After replaced wallet.dat with my bacup wallet the sync stopped up. No program error, but a huge debug list, around 600 000 bytes.
What exactly did you do? Hopefully you did not attempt to alter any files during the synchronization itself? Check the debug log and post the latest (or most relevant) part of it.

The story is that the address has belonged to me for as long as I can remember. -snip-
We don't need your story. We need a link to a non-altered post from your account, containing this address. If this is not possible, then your secondary option is a PM that contains this address (as an admin could check this). If you have not provided this when PM-ing theymos the last time, then it is no surprise that you've received no answer.

According to you current rate is 4% monthly so this 4% would definitely increase to 6 to 9% monthly because adoption of bitcoin is taking very fast now a days.
False. Blocks are already primarily full on average, thus there is no additional space to jump by 50-100% in terms of blockchain growth regardless of adoption. If you were talking about Segwit, which I'm sure that you're not, then it would be an entirely different story. All these 7 years from 2009 to 2016 Hutton was in dark but now only people are recognising its value so it's adoption will definitely affect in its monthly growth rate.
This has nothing to do with the subject. Go (signature) spam somewhere else. I see, i'm used to bootstrapping old altcoins, didn't know this. thanks.
They are usually based on outdated Bitcoin Core versions (most newer coins are as well). You can read about the change here.
|
|
|
Do you still need to validate blocks when you use a bootstrap?
This has been obsolete with the introduction of faster-synchronization. in 0.10.0. It will be slowed than using the client. Why will bitcoin be gone? Won't there be a new way we can revive or keep it going? That worries me what you said now lol. So what will happen then? We just kind of got started.
Ignore that guy and his FUD, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Once Bitcoin moves away from ECDSA it should be quantum proof for the foreseeable future.

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- My account awais3344 has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to gugers1993@gmail.com. The current date is 9/15/2014[b]..[/b]
This extra dot prevented it from verifying for me. After it was removed, the message verified. Where is the address '13dLLLgrmaZXxoyHyEDMeaToLh2W3nn165' from?
Whether your story checks out, and whether you should be unbanned is another thing. You should contact Cyrus and/or BadBear this time or wait for them to respond here.

Downloading 700GB P2P, I guess that would take weeks or even months.
No. Please do not post when you don't know what you're talking about. The bottleneck currently is not, and is likely not going to be the download speed. it would only take 9 hours to download 700GB today on a 200mb connection (fibre)
You're assuming that the 8 nodes that you're connected to can provide you with a full speed download at all times for that speed. As mentioned above, the bottleneck is going to be the validation time.

The pictures are not great, i.e. you should re-do them. Also, I'm not sure why this is in the Collectibles section. Are these limited in quantity or something? Otherwise, they are fit for the Goods section.

Here's a list of steps that you need to take: 1) Don't use Blockchain.info. 2) Do not use online wallets. 3) If you need a quick wallet, then use a SPV wallet such a Electrum, otherwise use a full implementation such as Bitcoin Core. 4) Read this to educate yourself on wallets and better options: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?It is not as safe as keeping them in 2 wallets.
If the wallet generation method is compromised, this does not offer you added security at all. The only way that this would truly give a benefit was if you used completely different storage methods (e.g. completely different software, machine and so on).

Lauda, Were only those 7 accounts banned together, or were they part of a bigger group banned at that time?
bump. I missed this question before. Yes, the accounts were part of a larger group I believe, but I do not have access to the specific information regarding this. BadBear/Cyrus could tell you more, should they choose to.

This doesn't seem like an important feature, although it could be useful in some cases. Usually, if you double report a valid post I'd think that moderators would mark both reports as good. In cases where your report is bad, and you end up reporting the same post several times it may end up hurting your report accuracy. Therefore, I agree with the suggestion (implementation would be almost trivial).

A centralized system that already got hacked at least once? Smart idea. Besides, from what I can tell, this is not what OP is looking for. I want to be able to first chose the hardware like MB/RAM/CPU/GPU/HDD with installed preferred operating system, and I open my browser here at home then enter a link or sign in somewhere and my system being at my disposal to download and run and install whatever I want though with high internet speed and even shutting down, restarting or turning on all by me.
So I take it you're interested in renting out a VPS? A simple Google search will find you plenty of recommendations for this.
