10121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: May 09, 2016, 04:01:04 PM
Is this still a credible website to get a topup card

They may have some issues at the moment with their services (technical issues) but yes I have no complains about them personally and I'm using them for long time already .
10122  Economy / Web Wallets / Blockchain.info new wallet came out from beta ? on: May 08, 2016, 09:12:27 AM
So the new blockchain.info wallet is out ? anyway is using it at the moment or they still have some issues and missing features ?
Link don't contain "Beta" anymore so I suppose it's official ? https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/login
In the other hand , the old wallet have "legacy" : https://blockchain.info/wallet-legacy/login

So I'm wondering if the old wallet is not supported anymore by the developers ? and what is your review (your new review) on the new wallet
10123  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info's wallet is absolutely terrible. on: May 08, 2016, 07:38:49 AM
Sent an ~0.2 BTC transaction with no fee via quicksend, and because that was taken out of a single ~1 BTC input in my address I now can't spend anything until the transaction drops out of the mempool. Partially the fault of miners for being so damn cheap, but partially the fault of Blockchain's wallet for being so damn bad. This isn't the first time I've heard of issues with it either. :/

and Probably won't be the last . Hopefully the new wallet will have better UI/UX and bug-free . At the moment there isn't an alternative honestly If we see the other online wallets . BlockTrail for example have few bugs which make it even worst , Coinbase don't even give you control over your private keys etc ... :/

https://blog.bitpay.com/introducing-the-bitpay-visa-card/

BitPay lanched a card for worldwide use.

It's not , when I try to order it it says :

Currently the BitPay Card is only available in the United States. If you’d like, we can notify you when it becomes available in your area. Please provide your contact information below.
10125  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is not the currency of the people and likely never will be on: May 08, 2016, 05:42:05 AM
If they are not selling then I don't see what's the issue honestly , they can hold as much as they want but that won't change anything for others .
Having less supply will simply make our bitcoins worth more .
10126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar not working ? on: May 07, 2016, 06:38:15 PM
I'm still having this issue I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me !

Do you use VPN's ? Check if any firewalls are blocking the connection ? Maybe start a private network connection with a secure tunnel ? I had the same issue with opening wallet explorer ,turned out my ISP had issues .I used a public DNS and the issue was resolved. In case you don't mind checking it out https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

I was using it just fine then as I said after few days (stopped using it) I run it again and it's not working . I didn't run any VPN's and didn't use any proxies on that time . Everything seems to be okay from the Firewalls part too so It doesn't make if just stop working  Huh

10128  Economy / Economics / 2016 Has Brought a Bitcoin Awakening on: May 07, 2016, 06:06:54 PM
The realization that bitcoin is a strategic global asset will trigger an "arms race".

Currently, the market cap of bitcoin ($7bn) is simply too small to facilitate a large buy of bitcoins from any governmental organization. If bitcoin started to surge globally, it could become of strategic interest to a government, and therefore other governments. I believe this would trigger something akin to a digital commodity race.

Read the article here : http://www.coindesk.com/2016%E2%80%8A-brought-bitcoin-awakening/ It's really interesting for those have some doubts Smiley
10129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unconfirmed transaction with blockchain on: May 07, 2016, 05:38:10 PM
As you can see near the "Medium priority" text , It's because you paid lower fees then the recommended ones so to prevent this next time you should paid the fees as should be. Also , there is nothing to worry about since the funds will be comeback eventually to your wallet after being unconfirmed for long time .(few days)
It can get verified though but the chances are pretty low .
10130  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar not working ? on: May 06, 2016, 03:11:46 PM
I'm interested in OpenBazaar also. Any info would be appreciated.

What kind of information's are you looking for ? I personally have a bug , If you want to download the software then simply visit OpenBazaar.org

I'm interested in general, because I'm ready to sell some of my downloadable stuff. So I'm curious just to know how active this market is. I know it's very young and I believe it has future. Will install it next week.

They didn't open from long time so It's not that active yet but here , you can see the stats needed : https://bazaarbay.org/stats/day
10131  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: May 06, 2016, 12:48:37 PM
Probably not , 2016 is the year that is going to either kill bitcoin or make it live forever . 2016 is all about the halving block reward with one way or another and that's going to decide the future . (Either it's going high and people keep using bitcoin or they will panic and sell everything they got if it start going low ).
10132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7/11 - The Day Bitcoin Prices Will Rocket, or Start of a Crash on: May 06, 2016, 11:35:28 AM
why do people start these pointless idiotic topics ?
I was just about to ask the same question.

OP firstly move your thread to the speculation section. This is just another thread linking to another articles which just throws out random possibilities. If one spends enough time in the speculation section, I'm sure that they would hear every prediction ranging from $0 to the $moon for the halving.

I have a strong feeling that Bitcoin halving will be a huge boom for Bitcoin.
Pure (pointless) optimism.

It is doing so well and it would be really weird if it just suddenly crashed.
No, it would not be weird.

I'm not sure I understand what do you mean honestly Shocked "It took place" ? we are in the 400-450$ since months now .
The price was around ~230$ in September, now it is ~450$. That was what he meant with 'took place'.

that's like 10 months (from next july to previous september) and I'm more then sure it has nothing to do with the halving . Most of bitcoiners I know (on other forums) don't know anything about this halving so I doubt the price doubling is related to increase in demand because of halving .
10133  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Don't know my wallet address on: May 06, 2016, 10:04:41 AM
I don't use Electrum for mobile but as far as I know they should have a receiving tab just like the Desktop wallet .
As you can see here : https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Og0wenXJATzGetO4gRm_KN3kIYXT-t-_0IU2LxkgLSwOIqufBanJjmH15rFnEUSFtQ=h900-rw
10134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 7/11 - The Day Bitcoin Prices Will Rocket, or Start of a Crash on: May 06, 2016, 09:37:23 AM
Price doubling already took place. Nothing to see here....

10135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / 7/11 - The Day Bitcoin Prices Will Rocket, or Start of a Crash on: May 06, 2016, 09:27:12 AM
Is less actually more? Will halving be a boon to Bitcoin or an absolute curse that will lead to a spectacular crash?

Money needs to be printed to be used, it has to be brought into circulation. Whether it is paper based or virtual, someone has to decide how much of it is going to be brought to life and when.

10136  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying hackforums rep on: May 06, 2016, 09:16:34 AM

10137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF the NSA wanted to take control over Bitcoin, how would they do it? on: May 06, 2016, 08:54:58 AM
Bitcoin reached a point where it can't be stopped anymore so I don't think there is anything to do to kill it or even control it . I mean they can try ... but I don't think they will achieve their goal . (unless the Bitcoin community goes retard and don't care about decentralization and privacy etc... anymore).
10138  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: THE DARK WALLET PROJECT - Part 1 on: May 05, 2016, 06:32:13 PM
Darkwallet is a failure and it's a dead project so I'm not sure why you are creating anything related to it .
10139  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Bitcointalk accounts (JR Member, Member, Full Member, Sr. Member) BTC paid on: May 05, 2016, 08:53:42 AM
By positive trust does it have to be from DT or feedbacks from anyone counts as long as it is positive? I have an account that I am trying to get rid of and it has some positive feedbacks from non DT.

Not sure what "DT" means, but I'll have a look. Add my skype: buwick@outlook.com

Or send me a pm

It's DefaultTrust , If someone from DefaultTrust gives you a positive trust , your trust will become green and increase with time otherwise nothing is going to happen to your trust color .
10140  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit.net has blocked my account. I cant access my coins. on: May 05, 2016, 06:56:53 AM
The logical thing to do was asking them first in their official thread then open a scam accusation instead of making it then expect them to solve your issue with a friendly way .
