10141  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 13, 2017, 01:02:15 PM
Pati pala ang PassCode sa EgiveCash sinesend na rin nila as SMS right after ng pagsend ng 16 digit code. Parang maling feature ito at puwede magamit sa mali, at least sa aking view.

Bakit kaya iniba nila? Para sa mga walang net at para macheck ang email para sa PIN? Eh ganoon din naman need mo ng internet para maaccess ang coins.ph so maaccess mo pa rin email mo.

Any thoughts?
10142  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PLEASE HELP. My Yobit account was freezed. anyone got idea to solve this? on: February 13, 2017, 12:47:08 PM
Didn't know that Yobit is also requesting a personal information from their users who experienced or having some technical and serious problem like freezing account etc. Huh

Honestly you have no way to contact them aside from their support. Their support is known for being a poor one when handling Yobit related case. Even their bitcointalk forum account is not that active but maybe you can give it a shot by sending a message (although I think you will have a long waiting of response or maybe none).
10143  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: OT Antipolo route on: February 09, 2017, 08:19:55 PM
Offtopic to mga paps.

10144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2K17 CHAMPIONSHIP Discussion on: February 09, 2017, 07:30:39 PM
What's the difference if we will discussed it instead in the usual thread of NBA here?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1220979.0

And for that main concern, it's better to start the thread at the beginning of NBA finals or let's say at the start of Conference finals. We will just only create a mixed discussions and response (might be a repetitive post from this thread and the main thread) since sometimes championship is also being discussed in the main discussion thread.
10145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont play lottery at fun2.bet! on: February 09, 2017, 07:10:06 PM
I tried a new website. And noticed its lottery game is strange.
You can bet on odd/even or other number combinations.see here

What's abnormal is that I found it turned out to be even for 8 times continuously! It's possibility is low to 1/256!
I think they are cheating, don't play their game! Undecided Undecided
I saved the screenshot here:

Even they aren't strange and let say they are legit, winning on any lottery is ridiculously hard to achieved. That's why there are people still not experienced to win on any kind lottery even they are bettor for years now.

Talking about the site, it's obvious that they are not popular so why play there. At least you need some other people feedback about the site whether you will play there or not.

Anyways thanks for the prompt. Cool
10146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: February 09, 2017, 05:36:35 PM

yeah! Luck is the most important factor on poker. even though you have a pretty much experience, it is still depends on luck because you didn't know what are the cards that your enemy holds. I like the bluffing on poker, it is the most enjoyable part the game that's why i love it, you can win even though you are holding the weakest card on the table.

You just said it, it's possible to win even with weakest card so it means it's not always about luck.

Luck is one of the factor why you won but how can you bring that luck in poker if you are not managing it properly. Let's say you are lucky with the cards you have picks, really a good cards and considered as foundatin. But in the end, ended up loosing. See my point here?

Poker game are handed compared to other gambling game that you will just watch your bet randomly if it will win or not like in dice game.
10147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 09, 2017, 05:12:58 PM
Another big trade rumor is on the process of cooking right now.

Paul George to Boston Celtics? This guy is a great additional player for the Celtics if ever that will happen. But my concern here is, who will be the Celtics players that will involved trade? This is not only one considering the rate of Paul George.  One thing for sure, some of the players involved are part of why Celtics is one of the dominant team in the East today.

Gotta keep an eye to this rumor.
10148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 09, 2017, 05:02:22 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

Support from the community, if the community will stop using bitcoin at all then no sense now of it's existence. Bitcoin exchanges will now have a ghost volumes since no active traders at all, merchants that accepts bitcoin will remove bitcoin as one of their payment method, Bitcointalk forum will become a ghost forum and many more.

Good thing no such thing like that will happen to bitcoin so long live. Others alts already suffered that less support from the community resulting to a dying coin/s.
10149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scam indicators? on: February 09, 2017, 04:18:41 PM
Being scammed in one way or another seems inevitable, what are the clear indicators that a legit-looking service is actually a big scam of some sorts? Is this forum a good place for info to detect a fraudulent scheme?

There is so-called an obvious scam and scam in the making. Obvious scam obviously has some service that is really out of the context and not realisitic meaning you will think of it as no way "they have something like that" etc.

On the other hand, scam in the making are great at first but eventually will turned to a shit one. No indicators or something that can tell a great site if those will be scam afterwards, just make a wild analyzation out of your factors and criteria as considering a certain site a scammed one.
10150  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: February 09, 2017, 04:05:20 PM

Some people are ignorant to blame newbies to defame the website, but from yahoo's post, we know there is indeed the situation, not the fake one. People should be kind to new players, why high rank members treat new players like this? So many false accusations againt newbie, just because you guys wear signature?

Like who?

You know I did mentioned prior to the opening of the scam accusation thread about the fraud that is now being disscussed, that if they are really sure about those fraud things that happen, compile all the evidence and post it in scam accusation so that others can look into too at the right section and a possible red tag from DT until it will be resolved.

You know I understand your sentiments, but ever heard of trolls? They are anywhere and most of them just stating that a certain site is fraud or not "WITHOUT" a proper basis. Even a high rank here, if ever there will be a troll post it will also be considered as troll by others.

How about the lending section. There are newbies that, what if they are telling the truth but can't show any basis, are you willing to give them a lend? I doubt even they have basis, any people will give them a lend in an instant.
10151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the rich, not the poor on: February 09, 2017, 07:31:41 AM

And this is what it is like to have enough money to pay the higher fees :

The poor people cannot even afford to fly in economy class, so they will have to be satisfied with this :

Premier class is limited so even a billionaire have lots of money to pay for seats if it's already fully booked then they will go the same line with the average persons.

Kinda same with bitcoin transactions, if a person will put a decent fee, they will just increasing the priority but what if there's a lot who did the same. Waiting is still the result.

10153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How does the bitcoinwisdom.com alarm work? on: February 09, 2017, 04:34:02 AM
Im trying to watch what happens when we go back to $1068 before the PBoC triggered panic sellers to buy back cheap BTC, so im trying to set an alarm at $1068. I have noticed bitcoinwisdom.com has a way to set alarms, but I have set one at $1059, we reached the price, and nothing happened... I was expecting a nice alarm sound to wake me up.

So how do I make it ring or something so I notice we crossed the price?

It does ring but I doubt it can wake up a sleeping person lol. Lasts only a second like message alert tone.

You have a smartphone using regularly? If yes, I suggest to use the Bitcon Ticker Widget instead to have you an instant prompt both sound alert and notifications right at your notification bar.

10154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I educate myself on bitcoin for investing? on: February 08, 2017, 08:01:44 PM
The subject says it all, what books, resources and other things can I study so that I can make an educated decision.

I want to invest, but have no idea where to start and need to learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general before taking the plunge.

A simple reading is enough and doing it on an actual one after learning those basics. The experience you will built here is kinda effective in the long run. You only just need the basics and advanced learning or making analyzation will automatically be your specialty. I suggest to read every replies of community in your thread.

I just want to differentiate the investing and trading. Investing is like putting money on bitcoin and let it sleep, yes for a long term purposes. Trading on the other hand are doing buy and sell at certain period of time meaning for short term or long term depends on the price movement.
10155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to analyze an ICO project going to be scam or not? on: February 08, 2017, 07:17:48 PM
As we know, new coins is born almost every week. ICO is inviting peoples to invest on their project with the promise of big return.
But we have seen many of them disappeared without a trace after hold fund from investors. This make a decrease in the level of trust to invest on new project from new developer.
How do we know if some project is going to be scam? What factors make it different with "good future" project?

Unresponsive and staying away from those hard questions by the devs is one of the best basis. In most of the cases, there are questions being unanswered even lots of bumps have been done to that question. We can see that in some of the ICO threads.

If a certain ICO have a goal of being a fraud one, we cannot see that honestly since for investors to make such thing as investment in that ICO, all ICO related thing including website design must be properly and professionally made. So a formal site and introduction is a must for ICO devs so that investors will think that they are quiet serious even for an outside look.

That's how risky investing in an ICO is.
10156  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: February 08, 2017, 06:20:28 PM

By that, you are trying to say the governments are invariably saying we all here and the entire bitcoiners are money launderers! That goes to show the laughable stance the governments have chosen to take against Bitcoin, but we know what's truth - Bitcoin is a torn in the flesh and they can't do anything about it, else they would have long time ago.

Here's how it goes, there are persons who are making a daily withdrawals in our bitcoin local exchange for up to daily limit. Now if you are the owner of a bitcoin exchange and a registered company in a certain country, isn't it alarming that there are huge money circulating in your withdrawals everyday? Not every week, every month etc but only everyday.

Meaning an illegal activities may have chance that is currently happening on that period. When I say chances, it's rather legal or illegal one so expect things that will regulate bitcoin in various exchange. All country have different points of law about money transfer law so expect that if bitcoin will become a strong currency more, illegal activities like money launderng is possible anytime.
10157  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Please refrain from depositing from Blockchain.info if you want fast deposits on: February 08, 2017, 06:01:25 PM

We can set the fee on blockchain as we wish, cant we? Means that if we want to get faster transaction so we need to set higher fee.

What if most of the people will do that? Do you think it will still goes to a "fast transaction"?

Setting high fees doesn't mean you will get a fast confirmation but rather you are increasing the chance that you will be on the priority list. Since there are people who also sets a much higher fees than usual, the line of priority list is just getting longer so nothing to do but wait even you applied a much higher fees.
10158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the main World currency. Forget About The $ Dollars And € Euros. on: February 08, 2017, 05:42:41 PM
What would happen if everyone would use only bitcoin as main currency?
What do you think?

Bitcoin as only the main and working currency? Well no such thing now as desiring for a skyrocket price since fiat currency are now undervalued. So even it will worth $100,000 per single bitcoin, it's no use now since bitcoin is now the most used currency for all institutions such as merchants, goods, business and physical transactions.

Believe me, it's not good to see bitcoin as the only working main currency. If you think outside the box you will get the point here.
10159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 08, 2017, 04:20:33 PM
Portland Trail Blazers @ Dallas Mavericks ; Moneyline at Mavericks @ 1.99

After Mavs recent loss to Denver Nuggets, Im sure they will bounce back again playing at their home. Prior to that loss, they have an amazing 4 game winning streak so playing at home will back their good performance. And their front guards are doing well especially Yogi Ferrell. I think more continous playing time for this guy will improved his performance more.
Portland Trailblazers are an on/off team. they have really good shooters in Lillard and McCollum. When they play well it is really hard to stop them. They turn into a version of Steph Curry and Klay. I do like the Mavs and their team game but I'd generally advice not to bet against Trailblazers because you never know what will happen with them.
You got it right mate. Portland came out as a better team last night. A very close game as dirk hit a 3 in the dying minutes to take a lead by one. But C.J. McCollum had other plans and hit a beautiful game winner. Really entertaining fixture it turned out ot be and could have gone either way.

McCollum is vey good on destroying the clutch momentum of nowitzki. I think the german assassin era is already over.  He is now slow but still sharp. Mavs is dying team now.  I hope portland will made to the play offs and faced Spurs. I want kawhi bs McCollum show down.  Cheesy

Why so much over act? Even with the current roster of Mavs today which is likely less dominant when it compare to the roster of Portand, still they gave a good game and really a close one.

Dying team? It's only a single lead margin and that is the basis for that? How pathetic Cheesy

Looks like some of you didn't watch the whole game and just posting here without any good thoughts.
10160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any point in holding any altcoin right now? on: February 08, 2017, 04:16:19 PM

The question arises: What's the point of holding alts? Not a single altcoin seems worth holding when BTC performs this good. Not a single altcoin is revolutionary enough to be a serious #1 contender. So what's the point in any case? might as well go all in on BTC.

In the first place, altcoins are not meant for a long term investment but rather for trading purposes. If already on a loss I suggest to just continue holding that coin until the end. Considered that as a loss and just idle it if they already accept they are now eaten alive by those risk associated when holding a certain alt.

And there is still a so called pump series that will happen again on a certain alt even bitcoin is performing a much supported resistance at the current price rate.
