10141  Economy / Speculation / Re: The updated BitCoin price predictions for 2019 . LOL on: March 28, 2019, 10:41:02 PM
They are more knowledgeable than we are about trade, but not about cryptocurrency.
But those predictions were for crypto.

Because things are much different here and we all see the same thing. These possibilities may be, but the probability is very low.
This is why these were called as 'predictions'.
10142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: March 28, 2019, 10:23:36 PM
Depends, maybe 1-2 days maximum, but if i don't have money left, i'm sure i can stay without gambling up to 1 week. If i have some money, i can gambling everyday. I'm kinda addicted to gambling so it's a bit hard to not gambling when i had money in my pocket.
You are on that part of your life that you can't leave gambling. Be careful of yourself when you have money because it can make you be like that person to lose until you have money holding on your hand.

1-2 days of maximum without gambling means it's hard for you to overcome addiction.
Me, I cannot really tell, but as long as I'm infront of my computer, I can gamble because I love it.
Maybe if I'll go out of town and no internet then I would not gamble, but honestly, I still have a control since I'm more matured now and have learned from my past mistakes. I'm done in chasing my luck in gambling as the reality always happens, I still long over time.
I learned as well from my mistakes and definitely if there's no internet connection on the place you go, there's no way for you to gamble online. Unless, you find some locals who have been gambling with cards physically or play poker, you may have a seat with them.

Most gamblers here learned from the mistakes but we still manage to gamble and can stay with or without gambling.
10143  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela hit by new nationwide powercut for more than three days on: March 28, 2019, 10:00:56 PM
For Venezuela itself, the impact is big but globally? I think it's minimal.

I believe such scenario will never happen with any of the countries around.
We have already seen it happen for Venezuela so it's possible that any country can also experience this if crisis hits them.
10144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: March 28, 2019, 09:36:16 PM
I prefer bitcoin in most cases, because I find this to be easier to make the calculations on my spending. If there isn't anymore bitcoin then I'll go for the alternate available. This can be mostly ethereum, on casinos I prefer doge. What I mentioned first is on sports betting.
I will not take that kind of statement if there's no more bitcoin because it's impossible to happen. Anyway, that's just an opinion and both of the altcoins that you mentioned are what others are telling you.

ETH and Doge as an alternative option for crypto that we want to gamble after bitcoin.
At present every gambling site provides many options for currency in gambling, not just bitcoin. everyone has their own reasons, but for me there is no specific reason for using certain coins, I can use bitcoin at one time, and other coins at a later time, depending on what I like, and what coins I have
You said that everyone has their own reason and you are saying that there is no specific reason for using certain coins?

I was kind of confused with that.
10145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why so many people say "Muslims are terrorists" Should we say that? on: March 28, 2019, 09:16:31 PM
Terrorists are terrorists, they don't have God to obey.

Prayers for Nurkic as this is really a bad one for him.
Very terrible injury, I watched the video once and I saw on how he fell bad after jumping.

I pray for his recovery, feeling bad for this guy.  Undecided

I'm imagining the bad fell that happened to him and it makes feel more than an ouch. Please recover fast Nurkic!
10147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at a Non Profit? on: March 26, 2019, 11:10:11 PM
1.) What would be the best currency to use for international transfers from the US to places like India, North Korea, the Middle East.
Bitcoin. I'm not very specific and aware of the current status of crypto adoption on India and North Korea but AFAIK, you can use it there. Wait, you have contact on North Korea?

2.) How could the recipients turn their crypto into cash without going through a bank? For example, if we sent 10,000 worth of Rupee to India via crypto, how would the end user convert this into Rupee in their country?
They can use a local exchanger for that or sell it through Peer to peer trading.

I find it funny sometimes tho that they always tell us to have a good amount of sleeps yet most of them are actually not doing it
Yeah, most of them are on call if there are some emergency and they needed to respond late at night.

They are coming, it's the funny part but I still know that many of them having that kind of beauty rest and practice what they preach.

Possibly not all, but a lot of them surely do. Not all doctors have decent morals and would basically do even illegal things for money so lying isn't really a big deal for them. Some tell white lies to ease a patient's or the patient's fsmily' suffering, and some just blatantly lie to take advantage. Every profession has a good supply of liars.
Illegal things? I didn't mentioned anything illegal about them.

Ohh, it's the part of telling their patient of taking a good amount of sleep while them being as a doctor or consultant for their patient, sometimes don't follow that.

I don't have my ASUS laptop but there are too many users that will be affected by this.

Thanks for informing the community.

is this serious? I've used an Asus laptop for more than 4 years. if it is indeed a baner I have to be careful. I will scan the malware hopefully to see if my laptop is safe or not
Yes as mentioned.
10152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 25, 2019, 11:02:52 PM
PBA is indeed the Philippine League, and we have seen a big increase with people betting on that tournament recently. I didn't realise how huge basketball was in the Philippines until now!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

It is a huge and one of the best sports in the country.

Guys be really careful with your bets.

This is the time now where there could be teams that will try to lose games just so they could match up with a team which weakness is them.
One example could be GSW who may be selling their games for that purpose. Since they already have a spot in the playoffs they may want to go against a team which they could sweep in the first round and save their energy for the 2nd round.
It is a tactic which happens quite a lot and also might get wrong.

Just watch out.
PS: I am just using GSW as an example but I am not sure they are really doing it by now.
Wooah, thanks for this I'm not really into thinking about this but thank you for the heads up.

10154  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Payment for KYC registration on: March 22, 2019, 10:50:54 PM
When I accessed to my blockchain.com wallet, they are highlighting the KYC thing at the top.

@OP, you just have to ignore that if you don't have any plans of sending them your ID. It's just an airdrop that has been running until now.
10155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: received 500 free satoshi? on: March 22, 2019, 10:29:23 PM
I think the point of what OP wanted to happen is to shill this vivigle thing.

Otherwise, he signed up for some 'free sats' related to that company.

10156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List for people who want to start paying with BTC on: March 21, 2019, 09:31:33 PM
I've been using bitcoin for payment with very few stores.

Thanks for the list OP, I'm getting interested of booking my vacation and pay bitcoin with that. I assume that you're the owner of olympianbitcoin.store, I checked those hats and majority of it are very cool!
10157  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best wallets to use on: March 21, 2019, 08:20:52 PM
I stopped using xapo's wallet when they implemented the high fees. I thought they already stopped  because I have no news about them and rarely hear them through suggestions.

Exchange and online wallets shouldn't be considered as best wallets.

You really has zero memory to remember with your wallet?
10159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 21, 2019, 11:33:40 AM
Chill GSW people, they have a match later against Timberwolves.

They can retrieve that lost they made with Spurs.
Actually it doesn't matter to me now. They already secured a playoff spot so i'm just waiting for it. What matters to me now is will KD left the GSW after this season. We all know GSW is still dominant even without him but they have a higher chance in getting Grandslam if ever KD will stay. Hope he is.
With the rankings yes but that last lost they had seemed to be meaningful to most fans.

Anyway, they've won against TWolves.
10160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A list of bitcoin forums to check out on: March 21, 2019, 11:15:58 AM
I know you are trying to create a list and help those people who are looking for other forums.

But what's the point if you're already on the biggest bitcoin/crypto forum ever?
