1021  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sinks As Google Moves To Ban All Crypto, ICO Ads In June on: March 15, 2018, 12:21:21 AM
Those news from google is a pure example of FUD. No one showed how much funds was attracted by ICOs through Adwords but the market is dipin. I'm pretty sure that it would be less than the amount of MC lost on those FUD waves.
Does anyone here ever invested into the ICO that he found via google ads?
But look it from their side. They can't know which project is scam and which isn't.
They just have to improve the moderation of their ads. You can make an experiment: just turn off your ad blocks for a week and count each phishing site that you see on adwords. I did it twice for the last month and every time I've seen phishing websites advertised via google. They don't have to make a full review of the websites they advertise but they have to somehow filter it. Their moderation is bad as hell and they blame the whole crypto community.
1022  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything Surrounding The New AMD Security Allegations Reek of a Smear Job on: March 14, 2018, 11:04:35 PM
If AMD were eliminated from the equation, the CPU market would become centralized. Prices would increase. Innovation would cease.
The text is interesting but on our centralization / decentralization thoughts you are missing one key point. We don't live in some magic cryptoworld (or Ancapistan). In our world everything works under the patronate of the governments which have anti-monopolistic laws (that sometimes are obviously destructive) and companies have to obey them. Intel shouldn't become a pure monopolist.
Back in 1997 there was a similar case when Apple had some really bad times and Microsoft bought 150 mln $  worth of Apple stocks just in order to save a "competition" and not to become a monopolist.
1023  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about stablecoins and price volatility? on: March 14, 2018, 10:11:47 PM
I'm getting more and more disappointed each time I see articles of such qualities on Forbes (maybe it is somehow connecred with the offers of paid publications from the servicce board, duno).
Anyway a stablecoin (lets just say USDT as it is the most popular one and the idea of those coins iss the same, "our stuff is safer then the previous one") is a straight way to nowhere. No mater how good will be your coin. The initial idea of 1:1 is bad. To make this thing work you have to store the same amount of those coins in USD. Right now Tether should have about 2.2$ billions if they need to back all their coins. I highly doubt that they have those money. Also the market is growing together with the demand. And with all those things there is still a high risk that  the stablecoin will face some problems and won't be backed 1:1.
The official issuer of the foat currency is the only ine who can establish the safe stablecoin connected with this currency.
1024  Economy / Economics / Re: Why decentralized money system is needed on: March 14, 2018, 03:23:16 AM
So something like the dollar with such a huge power, why would it need to be under control?

Because there is such science that called Economics. It describes different aspects of the monetary policies of the government. Luckily those stupid people in the US government follow this established science. If you need to understand their logic and find an answer to your question then try to read some books.

No one including the government and especially the banks shouldn't have control over how much and how many dollars should be.
Sure. If you want to ruin the world economy asap.
Money is held by us all the citizens of the country. Hell it, all the people over the world. It is so decentralized that no person should even have more than 1% of the currency.
Comrade! It sounds like you are advicing to establish a crypto cummunism lol.
When I hold 50% of something I can kill it, I can ruin it, I can take it to the moon, I can do a lot of things.
Not only money but anything which has such a powerful influence on people should be decentralized and belong to the public equally.
Hmm. And why the US government did not deflate the USD to make it worth 100 EUR? For some reason  everything works fine.
Sorry. That's one of the funniest things on this board. I just can't take it serious. You literally describing how US can get back to the stone age.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Realization - Why All ERC-20 Tokens Are Shit on: March 14, 2018, 12:42:47 AM
With traditional shares, you own a part of the company. You have legally guaranteed protections in place that the board of directors of a company MUST have your best interest at heart at all times, or they go to jail.
Let me tell you a secret. Not all shares provide a right to vote.  Sometimes you won't even be able to purchase those coontroll shares. The board of directors determine the company's future. They may decide to pay you more dividends or to waste those money on something that no one needs. You are still not guaranteed to me the main guy in the company.
What about tokens. First of all it is not the fault of ERC-20, you can make your tokens on the other platform. Also ICO is a mix of croudfunding and actual investind. Most ICOs even issue their tokens as a currency for their project. In such cases no one even claims that it should give you any ownership rights for the product.
But it is still obvious that investors want to feel safer. Pretty often the people that rise huge money on ICOs don't even know how to manage his new company and lose much money only because of poor management.
This is not the fault of the token standart. The only thing that  I see for now is to issue  some kind of reputable organisation (that's just my thoughts, I have no idea how it could be reputable from the very begining) that will make something like a private certificate that could be achieved after the deep analysis (maybe that will make ICOs to make better whitepapers). I'm still not sure how it will work but there is no better way.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins to drop due to US Marshals? on: March 14, 2018, 12:08:00 AM
Well, everything depends on the buyout price. And I highly doubt that it will be way lower then the current market price (I expect it to pe approximately the same). This auction will affect the pricee only in case someone will buy those coins and dump it immediately (which is less likely if the buyout price will be adequate) then BTC will be dumped. It also shouldn't pump the price because the whole deal will happen outside crypto exchanges that are forming the price.
It may only bring some sort of FUD but nothing more.
1027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binary Options? on: March 13, 2018, 11:52:14 PM
I've also never tried trading binary options but I would advice to ignore the most advertised brokers. This thing is pretty much the same as in forex: they are either scam or you will definetely face problems with withdrawals. For example: they are giving you a free bonus to your deposit and then you uncover that according to their ToS you have to trade like 10$ for each bonus dollar.
The second thing is why are you even looking for binary trading when you already have crypto? Imho even hodling altcoins is safer because in the most cases your deposit won't get to 0.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PAMM Crypto Trading on: March 13, 2018, 10:22:40 PM
I think that you can trade PAMM using a forex broker. Many of them have crypto pairs and allow opening crypto accounts. But I don't think that it will become popular in crypto community because for PAMM accounts you will probably earn by day trading while many of the crypto investors are only about buying a particular coin and waiting for its pump. Anyway if you are going to invest in PAMM coounts then it is a bad idea. Sometimes you can loose a lot money because of your greed.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralization of banking through cryptocurrency? on: March 13, 2018, 03:55:41 AM
Base on the speculation of other members here in the forum that in the near future banks all over the world will adapt the system of cryptocurrency and it will eventually centralized all banking transaction in one with the cryptocurrency or the digital currency.
Imho there is a chance that cryptocurrencies will kill commercal banks that earn on the transaction fees but not central banks that regulate the global monetary policy of the state, print money and change rates. In this case crypto won't be centralized.
In that period of time digital currency is not like an asset or investment anymore.
People are still investing in fiat money. Why should cryptos become less attractive?
Money always were centralized (owned by the issuer - government) and tbh they  have to remain like that.
1030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ideas of how to get the maximum trading profit on: March 12, 2018, 05:45:11 PM
What you are talking about is creating a something like an "invest fund" to place massive buy / sell orders in order to push the marker. It might wirk with coins like BTC or ETH. You will literally make another whale. Maybe it will also make the market more volatile because it won't increase the total volume and liquidity.
But it will never work with low cap coins unless you are trying to act like P&D groups. If you try to group up people  for buying / selling such altcoins at the same time then there is a high chance that you will get a lack of liquidity when you need to place a sell order.

On my experience even Kucoin vote is getting abused sometimes. Removing any barriers will make it way easier to do it on your exchange. Maybe community vote is not the best solution for the new exchange.
I'm not experienced in that business but I would advise to track and list some new coins / tokens that recently had ICO but didn't get any popular listings. Currently you are at 0 volume with only popular coins listed. I have no idea why people should load their exchange balances.

Translators are usually prefer to get payed in some stable amount of currency. However to award people with the % of the income looks so generous that it doesn't seem to be realstic if the exchange become somehow popular.
1032  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hi. Checkout My Crypto Wiki - A free Crypto currency coin Wikipedia on: March 12, 2018, 12:15:35 AM
Letting everyone edit the information is not the best move. At least untill you get a very strong community and moderation. Better just update the website by yourself. You should also work on the design of your site, now it is too "minimalistic".
About the content. Right now your website is something between coinmarketcap and bitcoin wiki. It soesn't have anything excapt information about coins ( wiki have many information about crypto influencers and dofferent features) and at the same time it have less information about coins then CMC.
Imho both CMC and bitcoin wiki can be improved which meand that you can try to take their nieches.
The only thing that I liked and that was really usefull is a list of competitors and similar projects. It might be very helpfull, at least for newbies. You can still make something usefull of your website but you need to do pretty much work.
1033  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam exchange GoldXCash on: March 11, 2018, 09:09:28 PM
If this is a scam accusation then I suppose it would be better to put this in Scam Accusations section instead of this one.
Well, I was not scammed by this service and I'm not providing my own proofs and accusations (I'm just providing links to what I found in the einternet) but I only want this forum to be a safer place for all users.
Have you tried to contact DT members using PM? (like lauda, actmyname, yahoo etc - they are active).
It always work for me whenever I find out any abuse/scam relevant for a -ve trust. They could missed a topic certainly because it maybe transferred to another page , but not a PM.

I've tried to PM yahoo today but he seems busy and I still got no response. Don't want to spam this to all DT members, I just moved it now to the "Scam Accusation" section. Hopefully it will get more attention here.

1035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 11, 2018, 06:44:21 PM
Seriously you won't find "pro traders" here. If you take a look at the long term then  Bitcoin is more likely to go up then fall down. Today BTC is way higher then it was a year ago and almost no one have any doubts that it will be way higher in the next year. That's like a long uptrend that makes it easier to get a profit and that is why so many people are thinking that they are good traders but in reality it looks more like a gambling then real trading.
Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?
In real trading pro traders are making about 20% annualy. That's the amount of earnings made by different hedge funds and investors like Warren Buffet etc. All those peopla and organisations are working day and night, hiring the best people, getting the best API and still not getting their x10000 income. It is naive to think that you will earn millions on trading by using your skills.

But this is not the stock market. I don't disagree that there are many who profit more because of the market than because of their skills but there are also many experienced and knowledgeable traders in this market. If you can beat holding then you are successful as a trader and many do just that.

Trading is more than just gambling but you need to be aware of the fact that there is an inherent risk, some of the best traders will still have long periods of loss and they'll make mistakes. You can't know what will happen with certainty so you just have to be well informed and hope that in the long run you get more right than wrong.
Somehow established crypto trading exist only a few years. Concidering the continuous bear trend during this time no one can call himself a "pro trader" yes. That's not about skills, it is just because the market is immature. Cryptocurrencies is a high-risk asset and it is wrong to talk about traders that trade only cryptos. Professionsl traders will never trade only crypto coins. If the annual income of the trader is over 20% of his deposit then he was lucky. High-risk trading is pretty close to gambling.

1037  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: AirdropLand.com | Complete List of High Quality Airdrops on: March 11, 2018, 05:32:21 PM
For some reason people think that it is enough just to create a website and list all airdrops there.
Here is my advice: try to list only worthy bounties and airdrops, moderate your website. Try to pick only worthy coins  that don't offer huge registration bonuses and insane bonuses for buyers, extra tokens for every user's move etc. Most of the airdrops on your websites offer small rewards that will loose their price once those coins hit the exchange.

1039  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Re-audit twitter without pro? on: March 11, 2018, 01:36:32 PM
Some months ago I've been trying the method showed by OP. It worked for me but the quality of re-audit was doubtfull. I had about 1-2k followers change between re-audits but this type of re-audit updated my followers count but left the number of fake followers the same (later I bought the payed version and cleared everything). This thing seem more like bug abusing and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use it. 4.99$ is not that much to pay once a year to clean all the mess easily on your acc and forget about it. Also in addition you will be able to block all your fake followers.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best bounty campaign to join right now on: March 11, 2018, 12:19:32 PM
Don't listen to anyone and do your own research.  Most campaigns that are heavily promoted to bounty hunters are promoting shady or just unsuccessfull ICOs. People wouldn't like to advice their bounties to you because in most cases they are awarded in stakes. Which means the more stakes are awarded during the campaign the less tokens will be awardred for each one. So advicing a good bounty to you people will reduce their payrates.
