1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: October 20, 2019, 06:20:49 PM
Why not? If I won big amounts by gambling I just donate it right away on charity or go to orphanages directly, either cash or some goods. They will never know where I got that money from. Grin But gambling is not bad right it is just a game but we need some discipline and control. If anyone really interested in donating I found a charity thread on services review it for yourself. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124375.0
1022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Host-file to deal with phishing sites on: October 20, 2019, 06:06:32 PM
Thanks for the list I will add this on my host file, I also use Metacert by Cryptonite extension but it is trial only. The icon turns green when it is safe and black if not. Every day there are new phishing sites created so we need to be careful to look carefully on the URL if it is correct before entering something and don't click suspicious links on the email.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A million altcoins on: October 20, 2019, 12:07:26 AM
I can't find anything solid that makes me want to follow an altcoin.
Altcoins especially Ethereum has smart contracts feature that bitcoin does not have, You can program it to feet on our daily problems, you can create some Dapps. I don't think all altcoin is useless or priceless, yes it is true that they are growing looks like everyone wants to create their own coin or token so much useless altcoins that exist now with no use cases.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin May Extinct on: October 19, 2019, 11:55:44 PM
Bitcoin unites everyone in the world no matter what the country, language. whoever you are. Different miners around the world connected through blockchain. Do you think the government can stop it? It is decentralized no once can control it. That's why US government is afraid of it because they want to control everything.

1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: October 18, 2019, 11:58:21 PM
I never won a huge amount in my whole life  Grin I tried some dice and other gambling stuff but the luck is not on my side it ends with a loss. Maybe I don't win a huge amount because I don't bet or risk huge amounts too. I have discipline if I experience a losing streak it's better to stop.
1027  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password on: October 18, 2019, 11:39:06 PM
Great Guide mate, I  generate my password by smashing my keyboard with random Small and Capital letters, numbers, symbols and paste it on a notepad. I'm doing the traditional way. I don't trust password managers even if is it an opensource, What if it got hacked my all password will be exposed but I'm not against it, but it is a software maybe someone in the future will discover how to exploit it.

1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC blocks Telegram with its $1.7 Billion token sale on: October 17, 2019, 11:29:03 PM
Why do you think SEC and US government halted big companies that started a big move with cryptocurrency? First, they halted libra and now Telegram, I don't know why US is afraid of cryptocurrency. For sure this will have some massive adoption given it has massive users. Looks like they are halting the next bullrun.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: October 17, 2019, 09:03:48 PM
Its simple we already learned from our mistakes, so much greed, etc. That's serves a lesson that not all projects are good and legits. We started to investigate first before investing, even if they have real team with a copycat project they will have no future. I think its better to invest on binance IEO for sure they review and verifiy each project. the profit is guaranteed but its not guranteed that you can join, because it is a lottery style it needs some luck too.
1032  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Banks are Blocking funds? From Exchangers on: October 17, 2019, 09:35:54 AM
It depends on the bank you should read their terms and condition first before using it to withdraw your funds from exchanges. One of my local banks(UnionBank) is open into cryptocurrency, In fact, they have bitcoin atm here. It is really scary if the bank will block or freeze your funds it feels like they are stealing your hard-earned money. If you withdraw big amounts it is better to withdraw on banks fewer transaction fees but risky sometimes.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: October 17, 2019, 08:07:10 AM
So cheap, but even you or I can make tokens from ethereum network, you just need basic knowledge of computer and with the help of google and youtube tutorials you can create your own token. But I think only people with scam motives will avail this, the website is so familiar the same theme with scam projects that already exist, no one will invest for sure people are smart now they will review everything unlike on the year 2017 everyone is greedy.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 17, 2019, 07:34:38 AM
The 2017 hype is gone, people are learning they are not taking the risk anymore. They only invest in a few legitimate and trusted projects only. That's a good thing only good remains but it doesn't mean that cryptocurrency will be gone, maybe some of it those sh*tcoin will be erased and forgotten. But bitcoin will lead us to a decentralized future it will never be gone.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about STO token? on: October 17, 2019, 06:59:47 AM
After the hype of ICO's they are trying to rebuild it by making STO  - Security token offering but it does not work, scam still exists, failure projects. It does not guarantee anything no different from Ico. And then IEO came out it was pretty good with binance all projects are successful and verified carefully. Listing price is always above or same on IEO price, no dump is happening. But take note IEO is only good on binance and other top exchanges. IEO on sh*t exchanges seems like an old ICO some exchange even scam people, scam exit.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! THE MOST EXCITING NEWS TODAY !!! FOR YOU ??? on: October 17, 2019, 06:25:09 AM
Found this on cointelegraph "Bermuda Becomes First Gov’t to Accept Tax Payments in USDC Stablecoin"
Looks like they are the first government to accept cryptocurrency, a stablecoin - USD Coin for tax payments, tax so most probably this was approved by their government. This is good for the crypto community some countries are slowly adopting crypto.

1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: October 17, 2019, 06:07:29 AM
US Dollar is just like a stable coin and Bitcoin is not they are different but when you compare these two about availability worldwide bitcoin is better and faster, less fee when transferring and most of all it is decentralized. You can transfers funds across the border without bank intervention.
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 17, 2019, 12:05:51 AM
I dont think so, Its happening the opposite bitcoin slowly spreading popularity and adoption, my country is not rich but they are slowly accepting bitcoin even small businesses. Also, there is a proof on coinmarketcap bitcoin dominance is about 66% it is still the king of crypto.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stacking cryptocurrencies with Interest on: October 16, 2019, 11:55:01 PM
Coinmarketcap has recently published a page where they track the interest rates from various cryptocurrencies on different platforms. The highest Bitcoin APR is now 6.20% at BlockFi. Looks like BNB and stable coins have even 10% APRs. I wonder what are these platforms doing with your crypto to offer such high interest rates..

My question to the community is how much you trust these platforms to hold your crypto safe and don't scam away? Is the 4-6% annual interest rate worth the risk for you?
Those interest are eye catchy very attractive but in trading its possible to get that profit too but not all the time. Why not just join binance lending they have high reputation and gain some trust very decent exchange but always try in your own risk.
