No, sorry.  There's no good excuse to let this run for the last 48 hours expecting an update and only AFTER it's expired say how it wasn't really coming anyway.

No excuse.

Just read the bloody post:

CLARIFICATION:

The "48 hour" update was made based on information I received from Sam. The problem was that when I made the update Sam had already posted an update in the thread so it became pointless.

What is not clear??

It is clear that
1 he did not read the thread himself.
2 he has never tried to communicate with Sam during the past 48 hours.
3 he did not think he had made mistake so there is no apologize.
4 he think a promise from a PR is nothing

This is like a few weeks ago where Swede said he was unable to contact Sam, yet we had some random contacting him through AIM. then he claimed he was on world tour flying around and didn't have time or some nonsense.

Actually that was a few days ago , good job with 'weeks" FUD
Again, you prove you aren't following the thread. TheSwede was supposed to update us about the chips a couple weeks ago but he used the excuse that he hadn't tried to contact Sam because he was traveling. Thing was, it was the day they had promised information. You would think that they would have arranged a few minutes to gurantee the news got to everyone, but they did not. Why? Because there was no news and they don't give a damn.

The constant string of giving dates and promising info and nothing happens just shows that these guys are not serious about this operation - it s just a big joke to them. Anyone of a group of us could stage this whole operation and get away with it because you all want to be fooled. This is just some virtual fantasy game of investing for you - you're addicted to the emotional roller-coaster.

Proof or GTFO

AGAIN, PLEASE ADD JB TO IGNORE LIST! AND DO NOT QUOTE HIM.

thread is full of shit out of this guy. reading and replying to those shit is just time wasting.

I've noticed every few days a new troll pops up

Ohh man, I don't even post on the forums all I do is read and it's hillarious how you morons think that knowing what you are investing in, and knowing if you have ownership in what your are investing in is shit and trolling. You all are clearly from third world countries by your horrible grammer, so of course who cares about your shit 1BTC that you invest.

And if people who invested thousands of dollars, don't care about their level of ownership in their investments deserve to lose every single penny, and they probably will, because only a dumbass won't do due diligence in the companies or things he invests in.

It doesn't actually make any practical difference.  If the people running Labcoin want to run off with our money, they will.  It doesn't matter if the shares represent "Ownership" or not. There are a million different ways they could scam us - from lying about a chip to actually having a chip and selling extra copies out the back door and not reporting the profits.

Now, in this case the shares actually do represent ownership, according to the prospectus filed with btct.co.  On the other hand we all agreed to the Btct.co terms of service which says that the shares are only virtual, not real world securities and hold no real world value.

There is no way to know what would happen if btct.co shareholders tried to sue labcoin, the way shareholders can sue real companies if they feel they've been mismanaged or lied too.   Additionally complicating issues is the fact that the company is in Hong Kong, and btct.co is Belize. US Law doesn't apply at all.

If it gets to the point where shareholders feel they need to sue the company, most of the value will have been lost, and the most shareholders could hope for would be liquidation of assets, at that point all the value would be gone anyway.

That's not the point at all. Of course they can scam you a million ways, shareholders get screwed all the time. The point is it does not hurt to have information on what you are investing in, and knowing if you have actual ownership in a company is something good to know, especiialy if the company is legit.

JB asked simple questions which morons replied too with a wrong answer, and told him to pretty much stfu. WTF?? And it was a valid question which I've had on many other topics also. It's the craziest thing I've seen, these idiots giving answers, and the guy hasn't even been to LabCoins info page on BTCT.CO and he acts like he knows everything.

I'm off to lurking again, it's just a sad state how people act to normal human beings who did nothing wrong against them, by simply asking simple valid questions and getting lynched for it.

Biomech I had that issue when I first downloaded it. I restarted windows then I just left it open a couple hours and it magically worked.

Restarted windows and it's working fine. Microsoft strikes again Tongue

Thanks to MikeyVeez and you for the help! Now I just gotta wait for it to finish syncing.

NP yeah I have yet run across a coin where majority of people connect and sync and a few that don't that hasn't been the peoples network or computers. It's usually never the wallet. Get to mining it's going to hit the exchange in about 4 days or so.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LuckyCoin LKY | Lucky Blocks | Fast | Fun | Fair on: May 29, 2013, 05:19:46 AM
Only a few people got in on the early instamine = ultra-instamine. Majority of the coins right now are only in a few hands. The 16k was just an example, others got way more I'm sure.

Other coins like WDC were an instamine too but the difficulty didn't go up as fast so more got in on it.

Like I said, DigitalCoin and Nibble used a good approach to combat this and LuckyCoin could have done the same.

it did the same just in a different way, same result.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LuckyCoin LKY | Lucky Blocks | Fast | Fun | Fair on: May 29, 2013, 05:03:35 AM
ok, just started the qt program, and it's not connecting to the network. Any thoughts?

could be alot of things, usually things to do with your personal network. Delete your luckycoin folder in apps/roaming directory. Make a backup of your wallet though, then just restart the wallet.

There's nothing in it, nor any reference. I'll nuke the whole thing.

I've installed several other coin's wallets with no issue, so this was a bit startling Tongue

I'll give it a shot and let you know. Thanks!

yeah it happens, some people had issues with WorldCoin, it happens just depends on which wallet.

Diff at 5 I think. Heck I sold some this morning, now I want to buy back and more. This one will go to exchange in a few days, and people will suddenly discover that not many coins out there as there was no crazy instamines.

Think you could be right actually. Compared to the other fresh coins I've mined, this one was definitely the most smooth and crucially the most fair.

yeah people are starting to see the truth of it. Amazing that hazard and company hasn't done their magical attack on it yet.

yeah it's kind of hard using magical powers, they usually don't work especially with baseless bullshit accusations with no actual proof lol. Mining it and loving it!

1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SOLD] Want to sell 1.5K LKY at 12LTC/1K on: May 25, 2013, 10:25:20 PM
from what I have seen the odds of a solo guy hitting a block are pretty slim not impossible at 5 diff its possible just not that probable and has happened but the highest block I have seen so far is 588. As far as insta mine the difficulty I believe started at like 1. Correct me if I am wrong and it was at 5 by the first adjustment. I don't think there are that many coins out there just me but we shall see.

Id say its mostly speculation but has potential for gambling and its kinda fun to mine with the lucky blocks especially in a pool because you can watch.
'
Huh. I guess I can see the appeal of it, each block is a gamble, and everyone loves gambling. PXC is sure capitalizing on it...Maybe I was wrong about this one...

It's fun with the random blocks gives it something new, and makes it fun getting some of those big blocks on pools, i just started mining it again. I bought some because supply is insanely low, Only 2605 blocks ever mined so far! I think it's value will rise alot given the fact that such little of it exists. Will probably buy another 1 or two more times, then mine the rest as diff starts to go down more.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LuckyCoin LKY | Lucky Blocks | Fast | Fun | Fair on: May 25, 2013, 10:16:06 PM
Looks like the diff is very reasonable now, virtually unchanged last 15 hours, great to mine.

what is it at now, i might start mining it i just bought some instead
Sitting just above 5

i guess i will mine a bit now, yeah thats why i bought some there is absolutely such a small supply!!

I started mining this on a P2Pool I like my odds much better with only about 1K blocks mined than 40,000 like other coins. I mined other coins too and by the time I stopped orphaning there were millions of coins made, so far this has been the best for me.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do these guys circle jerk eachother? on: May 25, 2013, 02:28:32 AM
i've been lurking on here for a while just finally got myself unbanned hehe. I've seen swede on every coin launch just blatantly lie about every single coin and talk shit it's quite humorous actually.

Some people just hate themselves and can never achieve anything in their lives so they go and hate on others, haters gonna hate, while others go and get shit done.

Hello,

I consider myself to be an active member of the bitcoin community since I attended the London Bitcoin Conference in mid-September 2012, where I made a few friends. I met a number of people there, including Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert, Mike Hearn, and many others. I also met Josh Zerlan from Butterfly Labs there, and shortly upon returning from the conference, I pre-ordered a "Single SC" from ButterFly Labs. As you probably know, these have still not been shipped yet, so in the mean time, I started mining using a GPU card, experimenting with GUIminer on Slush's pool and BTC Guild. I also invested in various shares and bonds through GLBSE, and later had to suffer the GLBSE closure, meaning that I had to chase my BTCs with a number of people. I managed to recover most of them, after exchanging a number of emails and PMs with the business owners. I since registered with Cryptostocks, BitFunder and BTC-TC, and invested some small monies in various businesses, mostly for fun and as an experiment.

I have also bought and read a couple of the Bitcoin magazine issues, I have spent quite some time reading various posts on this forum as well as on the Bitcoin StackExchange forum to keep myself updated and to gather more technical knowledge on bitcoin, although I haven't posted many replies yet, mostly because I didn't have a lot of original comments to make, that hadn't already been addressed by others.

Today, I'd like to be white-listed so I may participate in the "Ripple" alternate currency and receive free introductory XRPs as recently offered by OpenCoin (see  Alternate cryptocurrencies > Ripple Giveaway! for details.)

May I be allowed in?

no but you can post and by that time you will have enough hours and posts to be white listed all by yourself.
