1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 236: Holloway vs Poirier 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2019, 07:18:34 AM
Too bad Kelvin Gastelum run out of gas on the final rounds of his fight with Israel Adsensya. Israel Adsensya have the reach advantage by 8.5 inches and yet Kelvin Gastelum keeps on closing in and he is within reach of Israel Adsensya. One ting I noticed with Israel Adsensya is he is fast but his punching power is not enough to knock his opponents down. 4 of his 6 UFC wins came from Unanimous Decision.
1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im a full Time Trader on: April 11, 2019, 11:54:15 PM
How did you qualify yourself as a full time trader but you are not making money? Is it always break even? One thing I learned about trading and if you really want to earn slowly but surely, set your target at minimum like 2% or 3% per trade. Sometimes if we aim high, it takes time for us to reach our target but 2% or 3% can be reached easily and sometimes possible in a day.
1023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: technical analysis is enough to be successful in trading ???? on: April 11, 2019, 11:49:16 PM
Its good that you know technical analysis because other traders specially newbies lack technical analysis and they just rely on signals from sources like from telegram groups. If you can learn how to control your emotions plus know technical analysis then you sure are going to make it big in trading, just keep the greed in moderation. Greed sometimes takes over our decision making.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Promoting Gambling on: April 11, 2019, 11:44:25 PM
Here I the Philippines, there's an ad run by the Government about gambling in moderation. I forgot the exact theme but it has something to do with how you feel before you go to a casino. This was placed by the government after the tragic event when a gambler lost all his fortunes and put the casino tables on fire.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering Contests on: April 11, 2019, 11:39:54 PM
Not really a popular one but it sure is attracts players with huge amount of money to play with. This is a guess the reason why some traditional casino player is starting to move to online gambling because in traditional casino the amount that they set for high rollers and get the privileges are really high compared to online gambling.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any Sports betting websites with 0% house edge? on: April 11, 2019, 11:34:42 PM
A 0% house edge will not generate income for the online casino site, to keep their doors open. A 0% house edge will also generate a lot of trafic to the site and traffic = bandwidth. How will a site like this pay for the bandwidth and maintenance and also support staff?

The only way this will work, is if the site hosts many other games with a higher house edge, which would generate the income for the site, but their Sport betting games will have to draw in the crowd with it's 0% house edge. <The site might just get Sport betting players and they might not play the other games?>  Tongue

A site like this could easily make a profit from ad revenue alone if they were able to attract a lot of players.  A 0% house edge will have people scrambling to get a piece of the action.
I was thinking of how can they generate revenues if its 0% house edge and I forgot about the ads but isn't it that too much ads in a website turns away users? Its like every time you go to another page you will get an ad first before the page starts to load and I think thats annoying. Banner ads are not really that income generating I guess.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: April 11, 2019, 11:28:27 PM
My question is, do you watch the games your gambling on?
Depends on what sports. If its basketball, I don't watch the whole game, I just watch the last few minutes of the game. If its Boxing or MMA, I watch the entire fight since most of the time it will not take a few rounds before the fight is over. Those are the only sports where I place my bets. I dont place a bet to sports that I dont like even when someone give me a nice tip.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 11, 2019, 11:24:29 PM
With the warriors, there is no doubt that they can sweep a team again, they are still the champ and they will play hard during the playoffs, that makes them very dangerous as the have been in this stage many times and they keep winning. Also, they are in the mission for 3 peat, so expect than intensity again.
And I thought Lakers will be a contender and they will be neck to neck with the Warriors. Definitely Warriors will sweep and and go to the finals but Warriors should be careful with injuries because this season we have seen injuries after injuries from their players, thankfully other players were able to perform well in the absence of the injured ones.
1029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 4 Things Traders Must Do To Be Successful on: April 11, 2019, 11:15:15 PM
3.   A simple trading journal that will help you improve each day; and
I use to have a journal where I write my mistakes in trading so it will be a reminder for me on what not to do next time I trade. Another use of my journal is I put a not on why I don't buy this Token or what is the price of the coin when I buy or sell them. Sometimes emotions takes over our decision making but keeping notes will help you decide as well before you hit that buy or sell button.
1030  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: April 11, 2019, 11:10:08 PM
Bittrex is also one of the few exchangers that never ask or give any notice to it's clients if they want to get verified or not.
Instead they take a decision by themselves and "disable" clients accounts.
I read a lot about this complaint and sure is, turning off or disabling an account without notice and worst is without explanation will really turn away users and look for another trading platform. KYC is a big issue to everyone but I guess all exchanges will go to that direction. They may not implement it now but sooner or later they will.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: April 11, 2019, 11:03:33 PM
Dice games and multi color game in Bitsler but more on Dice. It keeps me entertained and game is just simple. No need to think of a strategy, no math required, no need to count cards. I want games that allows me to pick only a few choices and not complicated. Gambling is my stress reliever, so why choose a game that is complicated.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 236: Holloway vs Poirier 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: April 11, 2019, 10:57:13 PM
The Hawaiian is in top form and I dont see Porier able to keep up.
In the co main, Im giving Gastelum a legit shot at defeating the barely tested Adesanya.
Adesanya looked great in his last fight defeating a over the top Anderon Silva but other then that we dont really know how good he is.
Interesting to see if Gastelum will make weight.
Yes I noticed that Gastelum is big and might encounter weight problems on time for the weigh-ins. Have you watched the video where it looks like Adesanya and Gastelum are checking in something at a UFC event and you can see Gastelum with chewing gum and looks nervous or maybe he just feel awkward at that time. And Yes I would also like to see Gastelum win in this fight.

1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you place stop loss and take profit at the same time? on: April 11, 2019, 10:46:49 PM
When we use stop loss it doesn't mean you are really at loss. Lets say I place a stop loss because I am already at profit and I want to make sure that my profits are protected even when I am not online and also to protect my profits on sudden price drop. Just make sure that your stop los order is not really that close to your Buy price because sometimes it sudden price drops triggers the sell order then price recovers right away.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: April 11, 2019, 10:33:07 PM
The Philippines are indeed doing all the can in the adoption of blockchain technology and use of bitcoin. Launching cryptocurrency ATM in Philippines will indeed spread the use of cryptocurrency in the country. I do hope other countries across the globe will take the bold step Philippines is taking in the adoption of cryptocurrency.
The news sounds very good to the ears but actually the Central bank of the Philippines have a standing memorandum circular about Bitcoin and other Crytocurrencies to be careful and using it and does not endorse use such Virtual Currency and such memorandum circular turns off potential investors or users.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 236: Holloway vs Poirier 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2019, 11:59:26 PM
I am more interested with the Gastelum and Adesanya fight. Both fighters have an edge but it looks like Adesanya have a bright future with UFC. Whenever he fights, I always think of watching Anderson Silva on his younger years. I just hope he will not be careless like Silva on his later fights in UFC where he fools around, that's where he got caught get KOd.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 10, 2019, 11:53:02 PM
Whenever I step inside a casino or I log in an online casino, there's only 1 thing that I expect, and that is to have fun and entertain myself or entertain my guest that I brought in a casino. If you had fun playing, then regardless if you win or lose, you already reached your goal which is have fun. Just make sure that when you play, you only play with money that is not intended for anything except for playing games or gambling.
1038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: April 10, 2019, 11:47:28 PM
If you want to be a good trader you need to learn how to control your emotions. Even if you know how to use the tools and know how to read charts if you get excited and hit the Sell or Buy button at the wrong time, you will end up loosing your investment in no time. Self control is teh key, most specially control your greed.
1039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: April 10, 2019, 11:40:20 PM
I am always contented with small gains rather than wait for big gains. Imagine waiting for your investment to reach 23-30% and all of sudden the price dropped and took weeks or months to recover. I have been in this situation before and all I can do is sell below my Buying price just to recover through other investment.

Then give us proofs of you being hacked otherwise consider your statement as a lie. I will try to look at it and see if there is really weird things that are happening to you

Suddenly you get your account back? How?
Based on the logs

Today at 05:51:54 AM - Shafiqul Islam - password changed - How can someone who is allegedly hacked able to change his password? Usually if you've been hacked there will be a manual recovery made by the staffs if I am not mistaken. Therefore the status should at least be ( manual recovery, ownership change queued) or if you recovery your password true email (password reset via email)

Unless you were still the same person who hacked that account or even not
My password was my phone number. Someone hacked it and sent pm to many people. When I see it, I changed my password quickly.
So you mean the hacker is someone who knows you personally because he/she knows your phone number, knows that you are using Bitcointalk, logs in and use you phone number to log in and you immediately change your password when you saw it. Its strange because how did you know that someone is using it already and you changed your password right away. I think no one will buy that excuse.
