Maybe you are right, it's your money and of course you can do with them whatever you want but as you know the price of gold is not that stable too. In fact it has dropped more than 25% since January 2013.
And bitcoin has dropped more than 65% since Nov 2013, you forgot to mention that  At least gold is up 17% Y2D you forgot that gold has droped 40% since its last ath, so no gold is in negative right now compared to its all time high Gold is doing 25% better than bitcoin then Does not matter if Gold has an upper hand now, the future will be of bitcoins. The reason for gold dominating is that people have trust in gold and Bitcoin is just emerging. The only advantage gold have at a moment is that it has more users now in compare to bitcoin, but the fact is things will change in future for sure and we will see huger users for bitcoin too. |

I hope that you are right...May is almost here, soon it will be July, I really hope that there is a good price when halving happens...But anyway, bitcoin is a good long term investment, price is volatile, if you can use it in trading or you could find a good investment site, then you could make a lot of money of it after few years... The value of bitcoin is expected to rise at the time of halving so if you buy 1 btc at a moment then you can expect higher profits by selling it at halving but I think holding for next couple of years can be more profitable. I hope too that after two years is moving up more than going down..IMO, everytime the price of bitcoin pumps up a little, there is a big tendency that price would just return to where it starts to rise,.,. I hope that halving would change that... Yes lets hope that halving brings positive news for us and it can have a positive impact on the price of bitcoin and if we don't see higher price at the time of halving then its gonna be very disappointing. I think we dont disappoint after block halving and the price of bitcoin will gradually increase more year by year because users are increase's more population and some countries and store accepting bitcoin as payment.. i hope here in my country it will just like brazil that has 150 store are accepting bitcoin as payment.. I also think the bitcoin halving will be very good, the price will rise for sure, I really have no doubts about that. I'm also hoping that my country is gonna be a lot bigger in the bitcoin and that there are more stores coming. We all hope that price should go higher at the time of halving but no one is sure whether it will rise or fall at the time of halving and that is the biggest problem. |

Nobody will know what the future will be and that is normal because Bitcoin is a curreny and you never know what will happen with Bitcoin later in the future because it is always changing.
So sometimes you have to take some risks with Bitcoin so you can make later more money with it.

It is not that easy to earn a living with Bitcoin it will be better if you see Bitcoin as a bonus and that you can make some a little bit profit of it you must dont depended on it.
Just have a daily job and see Bitcoin as a small earning that is the best thing I think.
That is the right way to move on at a moment, just keep it an extra income and do not totally depend on it for living or else you will be surely in trouble in future. |

Yes i'm holding bitcoin for waiting price increase,not for all my bitcoin,i'm also using it for any services and pay something,hold bitcoin is the main reason people to make profit without doing anything. but i dont see any good move from bitcoin price.
Have patience mate why are you in so hurry you want to get rich overnight? That is not possible you need to wait and work hard to achieve any milestone in in your life. |

I totally agree with your statement dude. We must stay believe in bitcoin. Believe bitcoin will give more profit and make it more popular than now or make an effort together all of bitcoin user to growing up the price. Bitcoin has nothing to what we feel about.. what about the people who are not on the forum? Have you ever thought about them and people who don't know about it will hesitate in using it. |

How safe is it?
Bitcoin is good for long term investment, but there is no guarantee that it is a safe investment either. Because Bitcoin is a very volatile currency, you could profit in the long term, and so does the otherwise. Well, you could give it a try since 1 BTC is just a small amount. I think everything depends on luck when it comes to a bitcoin, as its impossible to predict the price of bitcoin in future and holding 1 btc for future is always the best thing to do. |

I think you cant earn 0.5 btc unless if you are a business man that you can start business with bitcoin.. or you have legendary account to sell it each for 0.5..

I don't really have any issue with bitcoin itself but my least fav thing is the lack of real world places to spend it. I suppose the confirmations could be a little quicker but it's not really an issue to be honest.
The least favourite thing about bitcoin to me is that it takes to long time to get the first confirmation. We need to increase the block size. Yeah that is true, but that is affordable when it comes to bitcoin, as bitcoin is offering us many other benefits so I will neglect the factor of delay in confirmation. I am ok with delay in confirmation time but the other thing that I don't like is no one around me is aware about it and even I am not able to spend it directly in local stores around me. i really hate that too, to be honest we surely need to make people know more about bitcoins around us because it is the only way to make companies start accepting bitcoin payments i also dont like that it takes a lot of time for bitcoin transactions to be confirmed, it could be faster in my opinion though it is not a really terrible thing that wouldnt allow me use it If we need faster confirmation the we need to increase our blocksize or else its not possible, and I think blocksize will increase if we have more users adapting bitcoins. |

why should not depend on it? if the high price of course we will also benefit greatly, so that you can open a business or investment with that advantage, than you are still working for someone else.
In terms of money source, it's better to have multiple options that relying on one. You don't need to sit for 24hours to focus on your bitcoin investment so still you can make others financial sources at the same time. Yeah seating 24/7 in front of you laptop is the worst thing to do I guess, bitcoin is always good as an passive income but depending only on it for living is the worst decision. Some people can earn a normal job salary from their Bitcoin side jobs in the usual 9 to 5 hours. That's how it should be. But if you have to sit in front of your screen all day to earn a few bucks, then you are doing something wrong. Too much effort for low rewards are never worth it. That's why it is better to just earn some coins with doing certain side job alongside your normal job salary. Then you can make some nice extra dollars. Exactly, bitocin is good for earning extra bucks at a moment which you can earn in your free time, so if you have stable job then you should never leave it and continue with it. |

The issue with changing of signature code was fixed.
About zero posts - seems some posts were deleted on the forum. Payments are based on total quantity of posts, bot checks and save to database this number every time on payment. So if old posts were deleted, you may have zero posts this week.

Sad days again in bitcoin land... full bear mode enabled.
We will be dropping under 300 within te next 12 hours.
to be honest i don't think that we will ever go below 400$, so of course that we won't go below 300$, and in next 12 hours price will go up only and it won't fall down so don't worry about that, if price would fall by 150$ in 12 hours that would be end for bitcoins as everybody would sell them Bitcoin has fallen many times and again it has rise up, so even if it falls to 300 I would not be surprised, as I have experienced price ups and downs many times in bitcoin. |
