Maybe it's just me, but I don't think someone soliciting donations should be so... anonymous.

Maybe a few pieces of information would help you obtain more donations.

What is the name of your church?

Where is it located?

What is the phone number?

Can I call the church and ask if they've ever heard of Marty Lee?

Can I call the church and ask them if they are building wells in Haiti?
+1.

Show some proof that you are who you say you are, and I'll donate some coins 4 Hati.

i am not convinced that CES will do increase btc price and i dont know how many ppl will be hooked up on this by bit-pay

Am I missing something, hasn't bitcoin had a presence at CES all week? Undecided

(edit, via MtGox and bitpay obviously)

The price is affected by volume of buying and selling. Nerds who become interested in bitcoin at CES arent just dropping to the floor to crack their laptop to wire 200k off to japan to auto-buy some bitcoins. Personally I'm pretty sure nerds ALL have heard of bitcoins anyways. Now if MtGox could show up at a FOREX trading conference....that might have a much bigger effect.

This.
True we need to start focusing on the financial world. We already got all the techies on board, now lets bring all the people with the money.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: RALLY! on: January 15, 2012, 03:39:33 AM
where the slope to $8.00 is smooth?

I fell out of my chair...

OK, maybe not then...

It's just that so much will change before we get even close to that. The real resistance between here and even up to $7.30 is pretty strong. It is not the kind of thing that moves without some big buys coming through, and when that happens all hell breaks loose. We are not going to creep up on it all quiet like.

As a matter of fact, if I were a large investor/trader looking to increase my position on BTC now would be a good time to do it because you can buy a lot without moving the price much. Right now it is looking to me that it could take some $800,000 to break $7.30.
That's not alot of money...

Q:  So do I post on your forum or on Twitter? There is a Twitter link on every post.

A:  --Forum--

Also I would suggest that the Login and Register links be more linky (have an underline).  They only look like links when you hover.  Some people aren't that smart.
TF 2.0 will be "dumb'd down", and sexy as hell. Your request has been properly noted.

And to answer your question, TF is a fusion of both, and that will become more apparent once TF 2.0 is out.

It is literally a Twitter Engine Content Revenue Sharing Community.

1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could it be the market is under estamting BTC Price? on: January 14, 2012, 04:45:53 AM
I believe at latest count there are approximately 7 billion people on earth. Let's assume 1% (I know I know) use or are interested in having a bitcoin.

1% of 7 billion = 70 million people

The maximum supply ever of bitcoins is 21 million.

That means roughly 0.3 BTC available per person assuming even distribution. The numbers alone make you wonder how easily the price could skyrocket.
Exactly, BTC's are way undervalued. Anyone telling you ANY different is trolling.
