1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 15, 2022, 08:36:16 PM
I think, Manchester United managements are fully prepared to use huge amount of money to sign in a talented midfielders because they don't want what happened in this season to happen again in next season. Manchester United performance was very poor in this season because their midfield was not too strong for them to perform well like Manchester city that demonstrated well till they embraced the premier league title. I believe, Manchester United managements will definitely get the right midfielders that will help the team to perform well in next season.
It is true that they are looking for players to midfield like crazy, but the reality is that they should have been looking for a defense instead. They had a horrible defense, even when Maguire didn't play in a few games, they still had terrible defense, none of their players on defense looks like they would be there with safety without worrying, because all of them were terrible last season.

I am guessing that the best thing they could do right now, get that midfield, one player, max allowed, then focus on changing ALL of the defense, from wing backs to center backs all of them needs to go and new ones needed. You may not do it all in a single season, but at least do 2 of them, one wing back and one center back.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not a Hedge Against Inflation?? on: June 15, 2022, 04:08:46 PM
It is against inflation; it is not against recession. The problem is that we are in a situation where recession could take place, and it will be a terrible market for a while and everyone will lose money all together, in order to make sure that inflation doesn't happen again. When the world has tens of billions of dollars more on top of what they already have, that creates inflation and we had money printing during covid period hence why we had inflation.

Now the FED and all related places in other nations increases the rates, hence why money is withdrawn from the market, so there is no excess, this includes taking it out of stocks, gold and of course crypto as well.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 14, 2022, 08:58:44 PM
The EPL is a very competitive league where no one particular team dominates every season. In other to make it up to top 6 to play European competitions you have to ensure balance in the team and keep consistently performances. Chelsea and Arsenal fc were a lot shaky at the last weeks of the season and really need to put in work to do better next season
Which league are you talking about? EPL has been dominated by City for nearly 5 years now, and Liverpool is right there as well, they won one in the middle there. I mean I am not saying that there is no competition, of course there is one, for each spot, but domination is there as well. I believe it was last year, for one point City went 20 games winning streak right?

I am not entirely sure how many games it was, maybe more than 20, but they dominated EVERYONE at that point. This is why I highly doubt that anyone else would say that EPL doesn't have any domination, there are many proofs that City is dominating it and there are barely any competitions to them, maybe LFC time to time.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good time for alts on: June 13, 2022, 08:08:19 PM
i think its took 3 years before the market is bull again idont know but ihop this bear market is short term not a very very long term again.
How do you see that this bear market is short term and not long term? because anyone is always very difficult to predict how market conditions will continue from now on, especially if the decline in the market is still very frequent and that makes some people very pessimistic to stay in the market except just to keep coins stable and make some purchases on coins that are good at a very cheap price.
Short term because of the implications via the period we have already gone through. Meaning, if it was the first drop, if we went from 68k to under 30k in the last week, then it would have been long term. But, the last time we were 68k was October, and we are in June right now, meaning it has been 8 months or so since we have hit the ATH prices, and we have been dropping ever since as well, we haven't seen a 50% or bigger increase ever since October as well, let alone seeing ATH back again.

It means, if we reach to 35k or more, that would be a great return to a high price again for all of us and that is going to be quite a challenge but we haven't been there for a while, so it must be close.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 13, 2022, 04:25:38 PM
Honestly, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer all the time irrespective of how COVID impacted the world. Also, COVID screwed so many people irrespective of whether they were rich or not since it randomly affects living beings.

However, it was obviously easier for the rich people to survive when compared to the poor people when the pandemic was wreaking havoc everywhere.

The world is slowly and steadily recovering from this crisis, but new problems have emerged(Mass shootings etc) which basically proves how messed up our world truly is.
Because they have the weapons and ammunition where as we have none of that. It just means that when the world is doing worse, they could use the cash they have and invest or do something that will benefit them according to the situation, whereas we end up with nothing.

When you have 10k dollars, which drops to 1k dollar, it is going to be hard to make it go back to 10k, but when you 100 million, that went to 10 million, it is easier to get it back to 100 million. When you have one job, and 30k in mortgage, and need to pay it and get laid off, you are going to be using that 1k as well, whereas someone with 100 million will never be unemployed, since they are usually not employed by anyone anyway.
1026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which timeframe do you use for day trading? on: June 13, 2022, 04:49:43 AM
for those who can set up bots on their own, I think it's okay to use trading bots. but I'm sure some people who don't understand the real workings of trading bots will only run bots for profit. even though it may not be relevant to current market conditions.
I don't like the use of trading bots. especially those who sell services for trading bots to beginners.
Yes basically as long as you know how it works regarding trading bots it's not really a problem,
however there will be risks so consider it seriously before using a trading bot,
it's probably much better to trade manually
It is basically a 7/24 thing and you could be asleep when something goes south. That is why I do not use trading bot,s not because I can't set it up or anything, I have used it for many years and I was pretty darn good at it 90%+ of the time.

It was like I could start from 100 dollars, go to 10k+ with it, and then suddenly it was zero, not because I suck at it or anything, but the bots are basically terrible at judgement during the crashing periods and make "cheap purchases" when it is going down. It is not as volatile as I gave an example for, but it is definitely not a long term solution to getting richer, it is good during bull and terrible during bear.
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 13, 2022, 03:56:16 AM
If bitcoin is not able to maintain the support area above $30k, then there is a possibility that BTC will drop further with the nearest potential target in the $19k-$20k price range. Therefore, be wise in analyzing the market before deciding to buy or sell.
Indeed we are not able to predict the price of bitcoin going up and down. But if you say about the support area above 30, the possibility is still far away bro, because the price of bitcoin is still around $27 thousand, it could be that the price of bitcoin will go down again to $25 thousand  and to get past the $20k price down it won't be possible.
I have to say that 30k is not really that far away and I am guessing that it is going to be quite a challenge for bitcoin to not be over 30k anytime soon. I am guessing that the easiest profit making right now would be buying at the current price and watching it go over 30k. That could be the easiest 10%+ made for many people.

I get that some are fearing the fact that it could go even lower, but I do not see it happening at all. I get that it is going to be a challenge and difficult thing to do, but that doesn't mean that we will face that type of trouble all that easily. Just make sure that we are holding when that bull run happens, so do not be late to buy it.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 12, 2022, 06:18:23 PM
Thank you for noticing that. Klay Thompson especially, he is being criticized until now by basketball analysts and I think they are wrong about him not back to his normal type of game.
He is actually back but not just in his best performance just yet. The expectations is too high by this so called analysts and also forgot about the fact that Boston Celtics is a defensive team. They won't just let him shoot that ball for free, there will always be a guard to stop him.

Green total steals in post season is 22 while Smart have 24. They are not that far, both DPOY awardee.
Yes, Thompson may have a little contribution compared to the past NBA Finals, but man, we have to understand, he came from a major injury and when the returned, Warriors are back to the NBA Finals, isn't it a big improvement already? And also, let's not forget that Thompson had some huge games in the past rounds, maybe he is not that too consistent but he is very useful to the team.
Him not contributing as much as he used to during offense is not really a big deal breaker, Warriors now have other options with Poole and Wiggins so they would be doing alright. However, Klay not being himself during defense is their biggest problem.

You have to understand, most players do not come back from achillies injury, or when they do, they do not comeback fully healed ever, and their lateral movement is limited, which is very important during defense. Klay was a defensive lockdown master, he guarded whoever Curry couldn't, and with him not being that awesome during defense, and not locking down Tatum for example, it creates big problems.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: India resells Russian oil to the European Union. on: June 12, 2022, 05:01:50 PM
What is clear is that the EU cannot magically stop consuming all the oil and gas it used to buy from Russia. It can gradually reduce it as it installs more renewables, as it has been doing for years.

I think there is a lot of window-dressing going on here, and I would like to see how they approach energy policy in the medium term, not to mention the long term, as politicians are not usually capable of thinking beyond one term of office. For me the lesser evil is to install more nuclear power plants, because fossil fuels mean putting the EU in the hands of other countries, many of them dictatorships. And to make a fool of themselves as in this case.
They could have, and still could in the future, but they are denying that for some reason. There are laws in place, and aims and roads to take, but renewable energy is the way to go for this and they just do not spend that kind of money on it.

From all kinds of food to all the energy needs, every nation has enough power to do it all by themselves and they only need to spend some money on it now, if they spend it now, they will be great in the future. Like have solar panels EVERYWHERE that gets sunshine enough, that would require tens of billions of dollars worth of investment, and yet you will not need Russia afterwards, and for some reason they still do not do it enough.
1030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries ban Bitcoin mining due to environmental concerns? on: June 12, 2022, 01:50:25 PM
I recently saw a topic and article where people are discussing banning bitcoin mining in new york city, It's not really surprising if I see some countries are doing the same thing for the whole country. bitcoin mining ban is profitable for the government because they can milk some money from the miner by getting tax from them but on the other hand, they have to supply some power for them and this can be hard especially during the summer when power usage increases also some governments have to use fossil energy resources to supply the power which is not good for the environment and this can be another reason.
Banning and taxes are different things. If you ban something, that means the person who mines there needs to pack it up and leave to another place, taxing is another because there you get to just make money from it however you want.

You are right about the other parts, where it would be hard for nations to provide energy for those who need it, miners require a ton of energy and during summer months between the AC and the heat, mining becomes a very very difficult thing, it becomes such a difficult thing that you start to reconsider what you are doing with it and even maybe pause it during, because cooling that system down becomes more expensive than the revenue itself.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Association - Thoughts over NY's mining ban on: June 12, 2022, 10:03:33 AM
New York is such a huge and rich city that they do not really need new companies. Do not take this personally, they literally said no to an Amazon Warehouse as well. It was suppose to be creating 25 thousand new jobs, imagine having an opportunity that would give 25 thousand! people new jobs, and you saying no.

New York does that, and they are still quite rich even after saying no to all the ideas of building new business centers there, because they are afraid that all these new business' would make New York even bigger, and attract even more people. They need a bit less if anything. So saying "miners should go somewhere else" is a calculated move.
1032  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 11, 2022, 08:34:33 PM
Maybe someone has done it but because it's not written on freebitcoin that users do it then we don't know if there ever was. Freebitcoin users from many country exchanging RP to electronic not considered because at the time to send it have to pay delivery costs which can be expensive and also the possibility of damaged goods and so on so still convert it for satoshi is the main choice in my opinion
They haven't updated physical prizes for RP for a long time. For example, if you check the list of prizes in the electronics section, you will see that there are only old phones such as iPhone 11 pro max. Similarly, in the wallets section as there are only ledger nano s. So we can assume that such physical prizes aren't in demand among users. Obviously, it's easier to exchange RP for sats instead of bothering with shipping and customs duties.
This was talked about a lot back in the day a while back, I think it is mainly about the fact that nobody really claims that, and they prefer to encash it since that started, which is why they are not really updating there because there is no need. Could they put the newest iphones and samsungs and new ledgers and what not?

Of course they can, they can add whatever they want, but nobody claims it and as soon as it hits 100k, people prefer to get it in cash. Same with lambo for example, as far as I know every single person that has won the lambo lottery so far requested 200k in btc, instead of the car and that makes a lot more sense of course.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thrives on education and self-sovereignty on: June 11, 2022, 07:48:08 PM
I agree that it is not a difficult task to carry on what satoshi left us. I mean I am god damn sure that there are so many things in the world that was done by idiots who had the bravery to do it and then succeeded and became super rich and provided something to the world that made sense, whereas we are talking about many many many smart people who could do much more but do not have the courage to live worse for a while and take a risk to build something that will further the world.

We just need to be a bit more brave and go into bitcoin with our eyes closed and keep on holding no matter how low it gets, and we will further the crypto world for sure.
That is mainly because the fool wold not have any idea how foolish of a thing they are doing, whereas the smart person would overthink the situation at hand. So, let's say we have a thing that has a 80% chance to fail, but the fool would not understand how risky it is, and do it anyway, and many many many of them fail, millions of them, but there are some who hit the 20% winning chance of course.

And there are tons of smart people, who will overthink the 10% chance of failure and not do it, and watch the fool do something awful and get rich doing it. This is why we are seeing many people taking silly risks, like invest into a brand new idiotic meme hype coin, and still somehow get rich.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the rescue again on: June 11, 2022, 03:33:45 PM
That's actually a smart move for that altcoin creator, to entice the people into buying his product because he sponsored/bribing a presidential candidate.
I guess, it won't be "happy" anymore if this candidate wins and promote his coin as way to thank him for the sponsorship he's done during elections, then eventually the creator of that coin decides to dump and gradually exits the market after he hits his target.
I would guess that the president wouldn't care at all, and neither would the coin creator neither. The amount however is quite tiny, is that a lot of money in Nigeria? Don't get me wrong, that is a lot for regular people in most places, hell in the USA which is seen as a rich nation, people make about 5k per month on average, and that's average, so there are tons of people who make less than that, some live off with under 40k, meaning this is nearly half of their yearly money.

But, when we are talking about a presidential candidate, in most nations there are a ton of donations and a ton of bribery and corruption, so we never really consider 0.55 btc as a good deal.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 11, 2022, 01:09:52 PM
A good game 4 so far. The Celtics are up at the half but both teams are playing good basketball. The refs made some questionable calls against the Warriors that led to Steve Kerr getting an early technical, so that’s something to watch. Mostly I think the Celtics are exposing the Warriors size. You can really see how much the Warriors need Wiseman. Looney isn’t bad, but he’s not exactly a championship caliber NBA center. I’m surprised how often Jaylen Brown seems to be getting open as well. Good defense against Tatum though so far.
I don't know man, Warriors had a 13 rebound lead after the game ended, I get that the size is an issue for Warriors most of the time, and it is clear that Robert Williams had an easier time than usual and rebounded very well, but that doesn't change the fact that wiggins outrebounded every player in Celtics, that should tell you how Warriors always find a way to close that weakness they have. They had games where their size was a problem but this wasn't one of those games.

Warriors played a great game overall and they deserved the win and they have been doing very well to find their weakness game in and game out, to fix it right away very quickly.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: June 11, 2022, 12:06:33 PM
It's a hard and very expensive lessons for everyone, but I guess it's inevitable. I'm just having thoughts of it collapsing in a bull run? Will it has a chance to bounce back?

Nevertheless, as majority of us see, billions wipe out in matter of weeks. And then Do-Kwon has the audacity to revived it with Luna 2.0. But I doubt that investors are going back to crypto market as what happen has a foot print. The effect and the damage was too much and it might really scare away newbie investors.
That is true, it is a hard lesson, but a lesson the whole market needed to have. I mean we started to trust things just because they are high ranked for years now because of the bull run. Now, thanks to Luna and UST crash, people are not looking at even top 10 as a sure thing, nothing is guaranteed anymore and that matters a lot.

I believe that we need to provide something to the table that makes a lot more sense. I know for a fact that it won't be easy, but if we adjust to "anything bad could happen" mindset, then we will take a lot less risks, be a lot more long term, and be a lot more patient with the markets and make a ton of profit.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 11, 2022, 08:55:23 AM
I think slot is not the only gambling game that can cause gambling problems but I admit that slot is one of the gambling games that many people like. But that does not mean a slot is the gambling game that causes the problem. And with so many gambling games, including crypto gambling games, that attract many people who will make the games their favorite gambling games. People like to play slots because of the easiness of playing without learning more skills or creating strategies to win because slot games will depend on their luck.
I believe that the trouble and the difference is that you get to gamble with slot non-stop if you want to and many people and that is the issue. I have to admit that I was one of those people, I gambled slots a lot at one point, not gambling there so much anymore but that was a type of game that would get my attention a lot.

Even in our phones, we have slot "games" where you gamble and win something but you could literally buy chips there, which is saying you can lose real money but can't make any real profit at all. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really focus on this at all, it wouldn't be fair. So slots could be a bit more riskier in that sense.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 10, 2022, 09:39:05 PM
If the mail sent by Ten Hag is true then that should be the best start of his career in Manchester United. Bruno Fernandes is not as selfish as M. Rashford. To me Fernandes is more co-operative except when he is under duress. Ten Hag has to be very strict about selfish players because this contributed to the poor performance United had last season
I mean selfish is not something that you do in order to become selfish, it is just the way you are. Bruno doesn't seem "too" selfish to me, more like confident, maybe even overconfident, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is a football player needs to have, they can't think that they are terrible players, that wouldn't bring in a good player.

So, selfish is something about who you are, and if you are selfish person then an email wouldn't change anything since you are not even aware that you are being selfish, you think you did the right thing when everyone is saying that you did the selfish thing and should have passed there.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 10, 2022, 09:03:35 PM
It's difficult to get top players for Milan, because top players will quickly get better offers out there. Because usually Serie A teams will get good players but at the age of approaching retirement, if Giroud can still stay it's not a problem either. But after all, recruiting young players to regenerate the team is the main thing to pay attention to. In competition, of course it will never be easy and what's more, next season's Champions League must be an important match for Milan who are the winners of the Serie A title. After all, I am looking forward to Divock Origi's performance in Milan, hope Origi can really contribute as intended expected at least if the performance was good then this would be a proper recruit.
When you are not financially doing well, it is easy to lose players, but that is how you should be looking at becoming better, find players that are underpaid by you. If a player "could" get 10 million offer from another team, but plays for you for 3 million, that is the player that you want.

I know there aren't that many, but unknown names could definitely be there, finding youth players from all around the world, or finding players like Hernandez which is a great player but wasn't a globally known name, all of these are great for an Italian team to win the title. I believe they could repeat this because they have been doing exactly that for many years now.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 09, 2022, 08:52:15 PM
His ability is unquestionable because he is an experienced man, his presence will be a role model for young players too. Possibly this last contract with Real Madrid, according to rumors Tchouameni will also join the club, to strengthen the midfield. I can't wait for next season, Real Madrid should be remains the strongest club in La Liga.
I'm quite contented with seeing Real Madrid reaching an agreement with Aurélien Tchouameni. I think he is one of the most promising midfielders in today's football and signing him wasn't very difficult for Real Madrid as well. But they must consider themselves really lucky about one thing which is that he had only Real Madrid in his mind. There were some other big clubs trying to intervene this deal but it didn't help them. If he adapts to the team quickly then he can find a place for himself in the starting eleven quite fast.
It will definitely help them "de-age" their midfield. Between casemiro, kroos, modric and so forth, their midfield became a pool of old but talented players. I am not saying that these players should retire right away, they just won the UCL together and that is a great thing to achieve so there is no need to replace them right away.

However, it is obvious that they are getting older, and getting one of the next superstars of midfield in the future is definitely a good idea. Tchouameni is a player that could serve maybe like 10 years for Real if he proves himself, which is what they were after by buying a young superstar, guaranteeing the future.
