1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN NEED NEW MONEY AS MUCH AS HALVING TO SEE SUSTAINED HIGH PRICES on: August 01, 2023, 07:17:59 PM
You don't need to worry yourself about new money coming into crypto, there is a reason why now is the best time to keep buying Bitcoin instead of hoping that new money comes in to pump your bag, there are many big players in this space and they know how money moves in and out of crypto, it's bigger than you can imagine.

Bear market is where you want to keep buying Bitcoin and Bull market is where you reap your profit, new money will get into the market before the bull market starts, as a newbie do not let this bother your mind, the charts don't lie and they exists for a reason.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 01, 2023, 05:58:58 PM
Bitcoin is law free, and also a good way to double your money or even make more, Why the hell wouldn't I invest in Bitcoin because of these? I can't keep money in the bank without worrying about inflation, my money is now safer with Bitcoin than the Banks, so yea I am into Bitcoin because of privacy life style that I have conveyed at a very young age, and also to make more money will storing my money with Bitcoin, it's win-win, the freedom is like breaking free from the law.

1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC asked Coinbase to halt trading in everything except BITCOIN, CEO says on: August 01, 2023, 04:24:13 PM
Altcoins are a big mess, I saw this coming since many platforms are now complete crypto project builder, you don't have to do the hard work anymore, just go to the platform and click few buttons and viola, your new crypto project is ready, the moment I saw this I knew its going to create a lot of mess in crypto space, I know that there were bad projects in 2016 and 2017 but you need to learn how to build a token or maybe hire someone to do it, it was way complicated then but now even a 12 years old can do it, meaning more shit coins will keep showing up, I like what Gensler is doing but I do hope he has no other mission,

I wish shit coins can be gone from crypto space, Builders are now becoming millionaires exciting liquidity on the investors.

There are some set of investors in crypto space that prefer investing in meme shitcoins for quick gain than waiting for years to make some money, they know Polygon, and others but they still prefer Vinu inu and crappy tokens.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18, holding my bitcoin and looking forward :) on: August 01, 2023, 03:22:13 PM
I have 1 Bitcoin @ 29k  & I keep about $3000 in cash in my bank as emergency fund
Tip: don't dox yourself on the Internet. You're putting yourself in danger for absolutely no reason.

The only thing that can stop bitcoin is probably the government.
The millions of attempts from governments across the world should have convinced you it's unstoppable already.

I am gonna start deciding to sell it at end of 2024 , but I guess i could wait till end of 2025.
When selling it, be careful and use a peer-to-peer exchange. Centralized exchanges like Binance have gone full anti-bitcoin in the last years. Don't ever submit KYC in those places, and sell in small portions.
Now that's weird, how the f**k will anyone who this newbie is? I've had enough of you don't know who is reading, his name is unknown too, he used cyberbex, anyone could form that, so who is going to track this man down because he own 1 BTC? Unless he himself write out his home address or phone number on the forum, which is stupid, as a high rank member on the forum, I will like to know if it's possible for someone to know others identity on this forum or maybe there is ever a case about such incident before?
1025  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is Crypto Mining? on: July 31, 2023, 05:00:42 PM
Can you give me a link to a good mining site?
There is no mining website out there, what's left are online mining calculators e.g whattomine  and mining pool like Nicehash and others, if anyone ever told you about a website where you can mine with no miner e.g asic Miner or gpu it's a scam they are running, it's better to close such website and look for legit way of mining Bitcoin and altcoins.

Find money and buy asic miners like s19 but first check your power bill, if it's costly or not, because many people did this mistake and they end up selling the asic miner back for a lower price.

1026  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you will never become rich on: July 31, 2023, 01:59:55 PM
The first reason why you can never be rich is too much  responsibilities, carrying family problems on your head which we all know family problems are always around the corners and can't be totally eliminated. The best help to offer family is to put yourself in a better financial position,  don't struggle to help family,  struggle to put yourself in a better financial position then take away your from dependency. How do you take them away from dependency? If you have a company or business you are running or a connection,  you can connect your family members to your friends let them work for them so that they can earn their own money or you have a business you are running, they can work for you to earn their own money.  As long as their is still dependency they will continue to depend on you and demand from you.

The second reason why you can never become rich is not knowing how to use money. There are several ways money can be use :  spending,  savings,  and investing.  Many of us already know about spending and even when we spend we spend on things that are not really needed but just to impress people who don't care about you.

Buying liabilities,  things that doesn't have value five years from now.  Many save but even when money is saved,  it is done to spend and not to invest and the only way to become rich is to invest and not by savings.  So , invest in assets and not liabilities.
Don't say no to helping people, stay in between, because you might decide to stay away from your family thinking they will be the cause of your downfall and in the end you will still remain poor, help with what you can and do not overdo it.

Let them know that they also need to struggle, if you are asked for a 100 you can give them 30 and tell them that they don't need to pay you back, that's all you can afford, think trick makes some stay away from me because they feel it's wrong asking me for help.

Not helping won't get you rich either, this is my main point to you, and the hand that giveth always find open doors easier in their struggle, it's in the Bible if you are religious, help some and don't help some.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When it's all set and done, do not forget those in need. on: July 31, 2023, 12:09:43 PM
The whole different levels among been rich, filthy rich and been poor makes sense all together, one can't survive without the other and that's why money was also never thought in school, if we all know how to make money nobody will want to work for anybody, not even the government and the world will be in total chaos because of this, I doubt money will even have much value like it is now, there is advantages and disadvantages in everything, good and evil, rich and poor and many more, it's what brings stable balancing in the world. My final answer is you can't help the poor, how many are you going to help?/because every Richy has their limits, it will get to a point where you will be drained out and left with nothing, if you make money, help those in need, it's a good advice but know your limit and some people want to be useless anyway, they always want to ask, and when you say no to them you can be hated for doing so, helping others have it's advantages but also disadvantages too.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 31, 2023, 09:20:09 AM
It's already too late for Bitcoin to go back down to 1$, it's impossible that this will happen now that many people have come to understand that the world can survive with decentralization and maybe even centralized rulers can leave Bitcoin be and accepted as real digital gold.

Even if Bitcoin goes down to 5,000$ there must be a reason, maybe Gensler find a way to make it happen? Even if it does it's a big buying opportunity, some people will still rush to accumulate Bitcoin before it receivers, The truth is it will surely recover sooner or later.

It's also a big opportunity for those that are responsible for the crash, I can not help but wondering how they can make it happen, it's not even close to where I will freak out, I just always know that there are some bigger players in this space that makes things happen for their own pocket and they mostly get away with the manipulation.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be running in your mind if Bitcoin reaches $1000 again on: July 30, 2023, 09:33:24 AM
To say the truth, this will bring nothing but more fear into the market, my strength and believe in crypto could be over if this happens  Grin im not going to pretend as if it's nothing, for something that's once as valuable as 69,000$, it's 100% easier to think it's over for Bitcoin.

What could have possibly happened to make Bitcoin 1000$? This is the thought that will full my mind, and I am pretty sure that many people will quit the crypto space and run, it's just a fact, many might not like this but even the strongest holders will call it a quit.

Right now I believe this is impossible because Bitcoin adoption hasn't even gotten anywhere, it's just getting started, if you can do some math you will know how young Bitcoin is right now, there is a longer way for Bitcoin to go and that's where higher value will come from.
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Bad impact when You carry out Online or Offline Loans on an ongoing basis on: July 30, 2023, 08:40:22 AM
I know my self worth and I don't like it when someone come knocking at my door for debt, it makes me hate myself, it's humiliation.

This is why I stay away from loans and debt, what worse could happen if I don't take a loan or borrow money from someone? If I can't afford anything I would rather stay the same and wait for better days.

There are too many examples around me, it all went bad, so I've learnt from it, if you can eat even once a day be thankful and find a better solution, from there you will grow, someone who eat once in a day will one day be able to afford two meals in a day, I came from a tough struggling background and I walk my way up myself.

1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Community research: To drink or to buy coins? on: July 30, 2023, 07:05:55 AM
Till this day, many people in my life still find it surprising that I don't drink, I am not so into drinking, I don't even know how to drink anything alcoholic, maybe because my father isn't an alcohol fan either? I have few friends that have shamed me in the past because I don't want them to turn me into a drinker, we end up splitting up and I find myself good friend that don't drink, we reason the same way and I like it.

To protect your liver and kidney you need to stay away from drinking, but all in the name of no one lives forever some people prefer to drink themselves into oblivion, drinking is now an escape from the reality or a way to lessen their pain or disappointment, I am glad I am not like this.

It's really not a must to invest in Bitcoin, for everything we acquired in life is vanity upon vanity but I enjoy challenges and it's one of the reason to keep striving, it would be a boring life if I am not facing any challenges you know.

If you have to drink something, drink what will be of benefit to your health and body, alcohol isn't one of them.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin to pay everything online? on: July 30, 2023, 06:39:45 AM
Bitcoin to buy bananas from a hawker? What do you expect the hawker to use the Bitcoin for? And how much are you paying for the bananas? In my city I can buy a bunch of bananas for 0.45$ and imagine I want to pay using Bitcoin, lets pretend that the hawker can accord Bitcoin as payment solution, which means I will use like 0.50$ to send Bitcoin to the hawker's Bitcoin address, it makes no sense.

There Are a few things that I have used Bitcoin to pay for but they are more valuable than buying Bananas, if what you are buying is valuable, and fits the transaction fee, also if the seller accepts Bitcoin as payment then no issue, I have bought...

Gaming consoles, digital cameras, shop for games online, pay for electricity and data bills, desktop PCs, laptops etc and that's because few stores online accepts Bitcoin and few other coins as means of payment.

None of these was bought in a offline store, no store in my area or city accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years of a Legendary post on: July 29, 2023, 07:13:02 PM
99% of the readers back then won't take the prediction serious, it's possible if I was here back then I might have sold all my Bitcoin, there is a difference between joining the race and understanding the Bitcoin itself, many people don't, most are here to make money that's how they fins Bitcoin and only very few new what Bitcoin will turn into in the future, it's also why I believe so hard that most inactive Bitcoin wallets are not completely lost unless the owners lost their lives, some people really believe in the innovation, they knew that something like Bitcoin will one day probably safe the dollar from bigger trouble.
1034  Other / Archival / Re: How to manage bitcoin correctly? on: July 29, 2023, 05:30:27 PM
When BTC reached $69000. I didn't choose to sell it. but the current price of Bitcoin dropped to less than $30000. Is it the most reasonable choice to sell BTC now and turn your attention to other investments? I hope to get some good suggestions. Although I have held BTC for many years. I am not good at management.
You've gone through the hardest part already, if you don't know about Bitcoin halving I think you should, it's almost here and after the halving which will take place in 2024 around April to June the price of Bitcoin will start getting better.

If I am in your shoe I will keep holding my Bitcoin, another question for you, do you use money you are ready to lose? If the answer is yes then it's even better, buying Bitcoin now is the best so I will find more money to buy more Bitcoin instead of holding Bitcoin that I bought at the top through the years, you deserve more than this.

It's only a thought, if you don't have extra money for Bitcoin investment just keep holding, Bitcoin will make a new all time high somewhere in 2024-2025, find other things to do with your time, 2025 isn't that far away.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: July 28, 2023, 07:11:59 PM
This days lot of bitcoiners are scared of introducing bitcoin to people because of they  do not want to be blame if the investment ends bad. Most people have lost good relationships with family and friends all because of introduction to financial investment with no profit and this made them to take a serious decision never to make any introduction about money to anybody again.  As for me I'll always introduce bitcoin to people because it is money, people needs money for better life.  It is my duty to tell about bitcoin to people and it is their decision to invest in it.

Because of the risk that is in bitcoin it won't stop me from telling people about bitcoin which will better their life if they found it interesting.
If any bitcoiner is scared because they don't want to be blame if anything goes bad then the bitcoiner is to be blamed, it means he or she sweat talked about Bitcoin that makes the investors believe that there is no risks involved at all, what is there to be so scared about? You are free once you tell them the risky side of Bitcoin before telling them the good side, you are free if you teach them and make sure they are the ones that do the purchase themselves, you are free if you are not the one that help them to keep their Bitcoin.

I don't think I will ever stop telling people about Bitcoin, I will only make sure to avoid some certain people like those who are completely illiterate,  there is no amount of explanations you can make to such people they will believe you are up to no good.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 28, 2023, 03:32:08 PM
It is no point eating comfortably every day if you do not invest money. I use to tell my younger ones too, if you do not do anything, 10 years will still pass you by and you will have nothing to show for it. There's nothing wrong with investing most of your money into Bitcoin and using the rest to survive.

Those who live their life base of risky investments are always the ones who take the top, and trust be told, Bitcoin is now on a journey of becoming a less risky investment, it's riskier not to have any Bitcoin right now because if in near future the US embrace Bitcoin completely, that will be a game changer and loads of people will then start rushing in, not to miss out but they have already missed out because they fail to accumulate when no one cares.

1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: July 28, 2023, 10:58:42 AM
There's nothing wrong with introducing bitcoin to children, just as we teach children to save.
there is no age limit for investing in bitcoin as long as there is capital they are entitled to invest in bitcoin. There is no age limit for investing in Bitcoins.
There should be, it doesn't make sense that you are passing this information around, kids are kids and they will always behave like one, even adults that are in crypto are messing things up, selling Bitcoin mistakenly for lower price on exchange, some people can't even operate an exchange properly, you want kids to embark on such path? It will be confusing as heck, I won't recommend letting your kids to invest in Bitcoin if they are too small, now this is where I believe your point doesn't make sense.

Some ages can't operate an exchange, not even a crypto wallet, for you to say that there is no age limit for investing in Bitcoin is totally incorrect, if adults can make mistakes, kids can make much more, this is why I believe that age matters when it comes to crypto investment.

1038  Other / Off-topic / Re: Missing Crypto Millionaire Found Dismembered in a Suitcase on: July 28, 2023, 09:04:28 AM
There are few crypto millionaires in the world today and everyone knows what they are into but we don't hear that they end up in a pool of blood, this is the second time I am hearing something like this and we shouldn't just into conclusion because of what the media is feeding us.

The first story was about a Mexican fella who dumped many into Ponzi scheme crypto investment and ran away but he didn't know that few of his victims are drug lords or Cartel members and they dismembered him.

There is a big chance that the same happened with this crypto influencer, maybe he owe or scam some people into making them invest in something that later crash?

One thing I noticed about Crypto influencers is using people to pump their bags, a coin with thousands market cap can easily turn into 2 million because of a crypto influencer talking about the coin.

I am not saying this is it, it could be few other things but it's not about living a good life and showing off, the news said it's done by a professional, he must have hurt someone, a killer was sent to get the job done.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin obsessed university lecturer. on: July 27, 2023, 06:36:54 PM
I'm curious how he is going to get paid for doing this, he is a lecturer and teaching Bitcoin is not one of his work, it's even illegal to do this because i am certain that's a government college or university, and for the fact that he is even forcing Bitcoin on them sounds unbelievable, I will like to read more about this OP, if you can drop the source link where you read this from?

If he is forcing the students to learn about Bitcoin, I can't help but think that this lecturer has other plan, maybe he will later run a Ponzi scheme where he will ask the students to invest in something? Because, sorry to say, this doesn't make any sense.

We are not talking about kids here, these are grown up, and they are old enough to make their own decisions, this isn't learning, it could make them hate Bitcoin even more.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to the Average Joe and Jane Bitcoin Investors: Buy Bitcoin Now! on: July 27, 2023, 04:39:22 PM
It's really not easy to DCA into Bitcoin and hold for a very period of time, that's why many members on the forum are advancing people to have a source of income before you start buying Bitcoin, the journey will become boring if you have no more money to invest because we can't still predict when there will be a new dump for buying opportunity in the market. Also, we can't keep telling people to start DCA, some are not even the type to DCA, it's later they will find out that DCA is not for them.

Let's leave people to make decisions themselves, I was once someone who didn't like to DCA into Bitcoin because I don't in bear market, I used to think that bear season are where you exist the market until when bull market is getting started, it was later that I learnt my lesson.
