I have a faster kernel set, too - my goal here was to equal Claymore, not exceed it.

Oops!

mATX with two pcie slots from 2008:

In my case reason for those low difficulty shares was too much undervolting.

Testing sp_#3 at MRR with 4x970. TDP 92-97%, minerside 178MH/ gpu.
I will just let it run and see where it goes.

Looking good. High average rates

Yep, no problems at all with MRR. I used -R 7 setting, don't know if that made any difference.

I can change pool on the fly, normally get 2-4 stratum connection errors but no extra dev mining rounds.

LBRY difficulty has risen from 1.8 THASH to 2.6THASH...

Somebody might have got dual mining to work correctly

Claymore dual miner works properly, it's just more profitable for Nvidia to mine with a pure Lbry miner and AMD to mine ETH+SIA.

lol... The rise in network difficulty for Lbry completely negated the pump. Lbry is actually earning less now then pre-pump... by a decent amount.

So how long to roi?

You can always sell those to gamers?

BFX bot runs out of ammo at some point. Just like willy did.

no slow down today, all fine

Funny how they go to panic mode so fast.

Z somehow stole all yiimp's blocks.

Law of large numbers here.

Large % of nethash but more importantly, low ms. Fast blocktime helps too, +30% earnings in the long run.

Another free pump for sp_

Hero has done calculations better than legendary, actually if legendary is sure that hero is full of shit and have numbers wrong legendary can always buy some cheap hash from hero.

Popcorn time it is...

does ccminer opensource 1.8.1 has donate mining fee?

So the answer to this simple question was one page of no/ yes/ maybe/ depends but on the wrong thread?  Grin

sold 10 copies of his private miner for 0.1 btc to 10 angry customers. They got angry because he released the sourcecode to everybody, and they payed 0.1 btc for nothing.

I don't know about those other guys but I for sure was and still am one very happy customer, it was fair deal for one week. I must have been smallest miner with only 4 x 970 and made that 0.1 btc easily. Bigger guys must have made shittons of profit, epsylon once again sold his work too cheap.

1GH of lbchash made about as many credits as it does today, price was 10 times higher back then (-:

btw, someone just put 50btc buywall at 40k...

1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v7.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 07, 2016, 03:53:32 PM

About private miner - I don't have it so don't know how fast it is, but in my tests I was able to get 200MH/s on LBC for stock 390X. Unfortunately, there is no way to use same code in dual mode, I had to write different code that is slower, it shows only 165MH/s on stock 390X.

Are you going to release LBC only miner?

Joblo,

I am still waiting xmr address that works. If on exchange need that payment id too.

I thought I posted it but maybe I didn't.  It shouldn't need a payment id. Thanks for your consideration.

You did but it still gives this error:

Failed to decode address (#0): Invalid encoded length

Ok guys let's make a briefing.

I've worked on this project many hours and received less than 0.1 BTC in donations.
Instead, what I've received plenty, are criticisms because I didn't make a windows binary.

Now, I've worked a lot more on this and I could publish the new code, for a >20% improvement.
What do you think I should do?

So more than 50% of your donations comes from me?

Sell them some cheap dashminers...

1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 06, 2016, 04:58:00 PM
its not so easy to setup a pool, that require time, network, a good amount of miners and handling support.

Fyi, sp, i saved you a bunch of LBC on zpool Wink with your c=LBR typo

so yes i even do support for zpool and guys doing money with my work

That's why I didn't understand why you were asking apologies when you had to rise that lbry fee to a mighty 1.3%.

In this world where everything including insider trading and heavy market manipulation is allowed I find it really strange that you devs are about the last people who keep opensourcing or selling your work too cheap.

Erase and rewind a billion dollar blockchain project, everyone (almost) cheering and waving flags.

Put a 1000 btc wall, everyone waiting what whale wants to do.

I would just like to see a cryptoworld where everyone, including devs, could do whatever they want.

1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 06, 2016, 01:00:54 PM
Sure there is somethign fishy but guys wouldn't it be better to combine your brains to make a perfect miner then?
The people are willing to donate thats for sure. Its just how you guys would share the cake ...as Siri said when you devide 0 by 0..in the end the cookiemonster is said :-D

The are chance to do something good..I already thought of helping porting ccminer to VS2015 and Cuda 8. why not say lets do it?

I could agree, but  there is a sentence which is not true (and I have experience with that):

"The people are willing to donate thats for sure."

Pallas was faster.

This "community" will never donate. You simply cannot write so perfect miner that these people would donate.

ROUND 2

1.8.1 vs sp#3 70% 120% tdp, strix 970 vs strix 970, intensity 25, windows 7x64 368.81

Cards are sitting next to each other in that very same rig hashing together. Left with opensource right with sp #3. Same card, same memory, same bios, same asic quality, same default voltage. 1x8-pin power connector.

Intensity is 25 because that is max what opensource can do, core is 1486 because that is max what opensource can keep steady. For this test tdp is set to 120% which means 196 watts which is max what these cards can do without bios mod.

Let's get ready to rumble!

-edit- well it looks like left wasn't steady at 1486 but you get the idea.
1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 05, 2016, 03:31:32 PM
Guys, why is it so hard to understand?
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: September 05, 2016, 01:27:17 PM
With -pstate=0 on the opensource version it don't throttle my GTX 1080 runs at 2088/1387,8 24h ... on Windows 10 with the latest driver so I don't get the assumption the Opensource version would throttle..i can't let this statement pass ...since it is not the fact.

If you read his post, he has reduced the tdp limit of the card to 70% (105Watt). The sp-mod deliver 20% higher hashrate with the same watt as the opensource.

158MHASH / 105 watt is making 1,5047MHASH per watt. (gtx 970 standard clocks sp-mod #3)(70% TDP)
255MHASH / 150 watt is making 1,7MHASH per watt (gtx 1070 standard clocks)

It is a bit more than 105, 110-120 watts maybe. Those cards have 100% tdp at 163 watts.

Point is that opensource can do max 163MH but it needs 196 (tdp  120%) watts for that. Sp #3 only needs 120-130 watts (tdp 75%).

Sure you can run it at 196 watts with sp-mod too, it does 190-200MH then. I haven't tested absolute max with it, pcie cable with 2x970 gets too warm for my taste.

I've tested a lot of Pascals today with SP_mod#3.
The approach is only 5-7% , according to several different models I have:
1080 FE - 6 cards rig from 330 to 365MH
Palit 1080 GameRock ( Without Premium) - 6 cards rig - from 365 to 384-7MH
Palit 1080 SJS  - 6 cards rig - from 370 to 398 MH
Palit 1070 SJS - 6 cards rig - from 288  to 301 MH

So guess I'll be waiting for this 12% gain ...

You bought all those for mining?

Or you only have "access" to them?
