Can someone explain to me why Darkcoin was rereleased and allowed to be premined and scammed?
No offence but try reading the last 100 pages, this topic has been discussed to the death, the darkcoin Dash people want to get back to discussing testing and development and not keep saying the same things to defend themselves from vested interest troll comments (for the record, no darkcoin is not a premine scam) Please do some research and then will be happy to help and answer questions. Peace.

Wow, we're up to nine anti Darkcoin threads on the first page of the discussion subforum.
almost double figures, this is looking promising, we could pass the number of Red Dwarf seasons soon if we try hard enough ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Please don't check out my feedback before trading, I am so nice if you got to know the real me.
Now piss off back to your cave.

edit: no way. I won't read 20 pages? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) In case you missed it, I'll repost it one time as the esteemed 'ignored' just don't seem to want to let up, The coins101 link summed up the deliberately slow miners using extra wasteful iterations for me, http://da-data.blogspot.de/2014/08/minting-money-with-monero-and-cpu.htmlIt has some doozies. For example, on line 100, you might note that for every iteration through an inner loop repeated tens of thousands of times, the AES key is re-imported into the library. The later loop, starting on line 113, is repeated half a million times, and is so abstracted through lots of memcpys and pointer manipulation it's hard to tell that all it really does is one round of AES encryption, a pointer dereference into a random scratchpad, a 64 bit multiplication, and another pointer dereference. Phew. This original code was roughly 50x slower than my final optimized code, and could have easily been used to fake two years of blockchain data on a single computer or a small cluster. I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

I'm virtually done with mining, its not economic, competes with latest generation of chip releases and wears them motherboards and cards out awfully quick, am keep the hardware and bang it back on at short notice if the difficulty ever drops. Was more of a joke on both our parts haha.. Masternode don't need asics... Just a decently sized vps lol, think my brains gone to mush and eyes don't work from over day-trading, put a smiley face on the end and I'll still get it at this point ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hi All,
Newb looking for some advice.
Ive been doing a ton of research into investing in cryptos. After all the research, I feel darkcoin has great potential and want to purchase some. (Up to 1K USD worth)
Problem is I dont have any bitcoins.
I can purchase bitcoins from coinbase as my bank account is linked, but they will not arrive until Friday. (its also like 5 dollars more per coin than on cryptsy)
Is there a way I could get some coins faster? (I wanted to buy Darkcoins last night when they were .017, but like i said i has no bitcoins)
Do you think waiting until Friday to purchase DRK will be too late? Or do you think there will be another low point i can buy in at?
I dont want to miss out on this one.....
weselldark.com : You pay a premium .. of like 20% above market rate. If you are betting that by friday its gonna be more than 20% then go for it . If not .. wait until friday . easydarkcoin are less than 10% though it depends what country you're in. https://easydarkcoin.com

The total value that I lost last week is now approaching £100,000. Enough to have made up the difference for us to buy a bigger place to live. Wow.

Many thanks, also to Sub-Ether, I am in communication with them at least and remain hopeful that it will soon be resolved, tungfa has very kindly offered his support and that of the Chinese social media groups there.
If I could think of anything to suggest or help- I would, had a few near misses myself but nothing on the scale of you. Good luck with getting it back. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

How is this blinding going to work? LMFAO .. the nodes will need to communicate with the network and each other, sniffing traffic from one node will yield other nodes..... WOW THICK SKULLS.
If your basic understanding is on that level, then there's no point in explaining how it works or what it does. The gap in understanding is larger even than the Valles Marineris Canyon on Mars ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dlr.de%2Fdlr%2Fen%2FPortaldata%2F1%2FResources%2Fbilder%2Fportal%2Fbonn%2FValles_Marineris_DLR_3_1920_1080.jpg&t=663&c=LCKIVvVjSWAqIA)

Coins are constantly siphoned off for new masternodes and considering there are only about 2880 coins minted per day, and 1154 goto masternode holders who probably hold onto theirs to build more nodes, this only leaves 1728 per day spare. http://178.254.18.153/~pub/masternode_count.pngSo using Crowning's masternode data and selecting 2 points that fullfil recent gradient trend lines we have: 7th February = 2100 nodes 21st March = 2400 nodes Time interval =42 days So, nodes per day coming online = 300 / 42 = 7.143 masternodesCoins needed for new nodes = 7143 Dash subtracting the total coin mint per day to offset, 7143 - 2880 = 4266 coins required per day fresh into the market to maintain current masternode climb rate, Conclusions1) This is an unsustainable climb, at some point all the reclusive coins must be used up for new nodes 2) when the coins are used up, the incremental node gradient will taper off and masternodes will be harder to acquire due to shortage. SpeculationsWhen there is a shortage to further increase the masternode count, there will a 'Dash' run on the last few thousand available from bag holders resulting in a wild frenzy for whats left before the miners and node holders have almost complete control of any new coins to the market. Very interesting but how much of this was due to Otoh? Also I suspect as price increases due to coin shortage you'll start to see mn's decrease as some sellout and take profits. As far as I see it this is pretty much the main 'killer' hypothetical situation with Dash which could allow the NSA to deanonymize transactions, ie the NSA could continuously buy up coins, regardless of price, until enough masternode owners cash out (rich as f*ck) and the NSA then makes up the vast majority of mn's. JL the slope has maintained this gradient for over 3 months, so thats about 642 new masternodes, I doubt even Otoh is that bigger whale!!

Now that's what real devs do.... Gang. They develop... Not FUD or Troll. Windows version successfully working on mainnet and darkcoin will run concurrently with Dash as side by side hot wallets with NO major problems and transfers between them work fine ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I see iCENOOB on the left margin... But he has a gag on... So peaceful... When I can't see his drivel. Soothing.... You guys should try the ignore button on him...
I had to sign in especially to enable my ignores, you can't say him and smooth have totally wasted their time can you with consequences of this magnitude ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
