1021  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: September 23, 2023, 08:06:55 AM
The government can guide and help its constituents and elevate the status of its citizen by providing opportunities to people.  The government can also help its people by providing free education eliminating illiteracy among its people.  The government only provides possible solutions but the people should be actively participating in these activities.  In short, ending poverty is possible if the government and its people work hand in hand.

Maybe in some movies... but in reality, ending poverty is not in their interest. Governments work hand in hand with rich people (or for rich people), simply without poor people (slaves) they wouldn't have power in their hands, it's the leverage they make on all of us. So what the government is doing is keeping this system as it is... not for years, for decades. Look outside, the rich are more richer, and there are more poor people than ever. If they are really doing something the numbers would be different.

1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: September 23, 2023, 05:34:32 AM
.. '
Yes but every casino offer different rewards to their vip members. This is why some players want to have as many vip accounts on different platforms as possible.
Besides, if you are a big player and spend too much money on gambling then it would be more benificial to have few bip accounts and split the money amongst them. Thus way you will get more money back in the form of rewards.
But yeah, if you are a small player then it's not that important.

But it's not easy or cheap to be a VIP in more than one casino... Especially if we are talking about the highest VIP levels, we talk about wagering millions, and to do it can take a lot of time and money.

Rewards can be good, for example, I would like to spend that Mega Wheel at BC every day... but getting to 70 LvL is not that easy, I think it will take years for me to get there.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest in this project or not on: September 22, 2023, 04:13:36 PM

Well, after this one I don't even need to open the site and check anything else about this project. A trading bot that needs to be downloaded... who downloads anything from this site is at a huge risk of losing everything stored on that device.

This is not a big or a huge red flag... I can't find the right words to describe it, it's screaming "scam/fraud" from all sides.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 22, 2023, 02:32:27 PM
Not reading terms and conditions seems normal to me. If you understand the terms and conditions of one casino, you understand them all. But there are just other casinos that have something else on them and some of them change a bit of it after some time. If the casino acts differently from the other, it becomes an issue when the casino refers the violation to their T&C.

But if they obviously use the T&C to scam users, that's a different story. They gotta be careful with that or else when the word is out and proven the casino scammed users, it's going to ruin a reputation no matter how little the amount.

I don't read terms and conditions, as you said, understanding one is like we saw them all. But I read BTCGosu reviews, which is far better than reading ToS, where important things (like KYC, bonus terms, deposit options, etc.) are pointed out.
Well, we saw some casinos changing their ToS without any notification, it's like a big red flag... who knows what are they capable of doing after that?

But when it comes to some bonuses and promotions, I must say that I always pay attention to terms and conditions about that. It's a big difference if min bet is 10 or 20 cents...
1025  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hold'N'Spin trusted Crypto and Fiat Casino.50 Freespins on Register! on: September 22, 2023, 10:28:54 AM
No, if you are from any of the countries mentioned above, you are not supposed to use the platform at all and that is exactly what a restriction basically means. What's the point of them restricting certain countries if they allow gamblers to create accounts and gamble using a VPN? So, even if you manage to do so, you won't be able to complete your KYC verification considering the fact that you are from a restricted country and your IP address won't match the data you will provide.

And, when you can't complete KYC verification, and probably won't be allowed to make a withdrawal, what's the point of making a deposit and gambling with them when there are dozens of other casino platforms that might allow you to gamble without any restrictions or anything?

My country is not on this list, but I see the same message: "Location restriction. Due to legal reasons, we can't accept players residing in the country you are currently in." I also don't understand what the point of these "restrictions" is, while they allow us to use VPN. It's very strange... and I don't like it at all. In other words, they will always be able to pull this rule if it suits them, I guess especially if we are on some winning streak and we wish to withdraw those winnings.

This is not the first time for me to see this operator... I am not allowed to play in casinos operated by S.G International N.V.

Thanks for sharing the results iv4n and not a bad end result at all. You won 1 golden ticket and more satoshis and RP than lottery tickets! You must be closr to the 100k also for RP? Do you exchange it immediately when you reach it?

I cashed out 140k RPs:

I didn't want to start from zero again, so I left this... Usually, I get to +100k after spinning a few thousand WoF's. It's better to cash it out and gamble with it, or get interest on BTC. We can't do much with RPs, I don't like to exchange them for WoF spins.
I guess I will need months before the next cashing out.

That one Golden Ticket has a chance to bring Lambo! Smiley

Not all people have bet on France winning. Till now, there have been 1,434 bets on Namibia winning and 1,053 bets on draw.

It will be interesting if Namibia wins. Smiley
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: September 21, 2023, 06:32:58 PM
It's everyone's choices that led us to this point.  Stop leaving money on exchanges and using them as a personal wallet and the problem is solved.  It's not the idea of dex vs cex, it's really how people utilize them.  Put money on, trade, take money off to wallet where only you control the keys.  Boom problem solved
I really wonder if there are still such people keeping money on exchanges, especially after all the latest news about coins delist, exchanges blocks, etc. My rule from the very beginning was to choose the trusted wallet and keep everything there.

Well, I have some amount in some exchanges, like I have some amount in some casinos... we either trust the service or we don't. If if trust it we will always have some amount of coins that we keep in those services. Of course, we risk with that, but moving funds after every trade, after every gambling session, can be expensive. Of course, that should never be an "all-in" amount, it's the part we feel comfortable leaving there sitting and waiting for the next trade/gambling session. If you are not comfortable with that, you shouldn't use that service in the first place.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could SocialFi be the new trend in crypto? on: September 20, 2023, 07:35:59 PM
Well, many "social crypto" projects until now were a complete disaster... I tried a few early projects, and they all ended up dead. So could SocialFi be the next trend in crypto it's a big question, I am not sure, all I can say is that I am a bit skeptical about that. But it's 2023, and things are not like they used to be.

I am open to new things, and I would like to see some examples of SocialFi sites, but in this article, I didn't see any sites. Can anyone share some SocialFi sites?
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 20, 2023, 05:54:03 PM
In my opinion, early retirement doesn't have cons... it's when you settle yourself for the rest of your life and you can do whatever you want to do. You can use some money for some fun and make more money, but when you are not desperate for profit you actually have more chances for profit.

But some people can't live a life without a thrill... and they don't wish/can't spend time with their closest ones, it's too much bothering for them, so they wish to be the "bosses" as long as they can. Well, I am not in that story... With early retirement nobody would find me, I would be in some mountain village! The less contact with people is an advantage.
1031  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 20, 2023, 12:33:08 PM
Yes, I think a crash game is a skill and luck-based game at the same time while slots are purely a luck game. Let me explain why I think that. If you are looking for a 10x bet in a crash game, you should get one 10x bet in 10 bets on average. Sometimes a single 10x comes after 100 bets. So, if you do not place bets for 50 bets and there are no 10x bets, you can start placing your bet according to your target....

As I said, the crash is a bit different. But it's still a lucky-based game, and you can wait for 50 bets before you start placing bets... but even with that nobody guarantees that you will hit x10 after 100 bets, you can see 200 reds easily... and you will bust your amount and you will not have for 201 bet. Anyway, you could show your "skills & strategies" in the latest Coins.Game crash contest, what stopped you if it's more about skills than luck?!

...
And I don't have enough funds for gambling. I believe money management is very important if you gamble regularly. I should not exceed my gambling limit. I planned to invest $150 in gambling, which I did, and I did not want to try more and more to chase the big multiplier because winning is not guaranteed. Still, I am happy with the ending result.

Responsible gambling all the time! Smiley I always know how much I can spend on gambling... but lately, it's more troubling for me to find time for gambling than a few bucks for that.

PS: Today's prize is nice... Smiley

1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 20, 2023, 05:52:19 AM
...

It is only a rare case that people win in free spins because this is only meant to feel them to play their game and if ever you win there are still things you need to consider because casinos right now won't allow a withdrawal if you haven't reached their requirements and there are a wagering requirement that you need to bet money on before you can withdraw. But I have still seen people get lucky on free spins but it's not that much money but still you are lucky to win it.

There are some deposit promotions with +50,100,200 free spins (depending on how much money you deposit), and that can be a different story. But even with so many spins (I tried this kind of promotion more than once, in more than one casino) there are no guarantees that we will hit some big win or bonus round.

Lately, in many casinos free spins are for Pragmatic slots, and I can't play Pragmatic. It's silly when we get some free spins, but we can't use them... happened to me a few times already.

It seems the House games contest is more fun because it's kind of related to your skills and luck combination. While slot multipliers exclusively depend on your luck and there are no skills required to chase a multiplier. So, if someone is a slot game lover then it will be a good contest for them. But, people like me consider slot games as waste of money  Cheesy
...

So chasing and catching some higher multiplier in a crash game is a skill and luck, and chasing a higher multiplier on slots is pure luck? Smiley
I feel like you never busted your balance in trying to catch some higher multi in any lucky-based game... but I could be wrong. When it comes to crash, and only crash (not dice, limbo, keno, Plinko...), if you are patient enough you can see some higher multi, but if you don't place a bet on time you will miss it for sure.

House games or you would be interested in joining third-party slots multiplier?

Since I play under BTCGosu I am interested in all Coins.Game contest here on the forum. So I will try to compete whenever there is some contest from your side.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 19, 2023, 08:50:10 AM

It is entertaining, when you deposit say $100 and you can play for say an hour ....but lately $100 will not last you 10 or 20 minutes, because it is just one long losing streak.  Roll Eyes

Well, just burned +$80 on slots... I played less than 20 minutes, a few bonus rounds paid x10 max, and some big wins were higher than what I won from bonus rounds. But those long-losing streaks simply melted my amount... I stopped playing slots and I placed some sports bets with a few dollars left. Maybe I will have more luck with goals today.

It's entertaining as long as we play with money we can afford to lose... I like to play slots, but I know how cruel slots can be (and some other lucky-based games), so even though I hope to hit something big I am aware that I can easily bust my amount in minutes, literally. Especially if I get into "buying bonuses" mode!

Let's talk about the recent contest. Do you think others gave up when they saw your 450x+ multipliers? Of course not. I have successfully wasted about $100 chasing the 500x, and there were almost 2K bets without the 500x. I believe others also tried to chase it. Whoever loves competing in a contest always tries to chase the highest until they are on the loose. If I were in profit, I would try further.

It's more interesting when we can see other people's entries in real time... it's more exciting, we compete and we know what multipliers we need to stay in the race. I tried to catch x451, but I didn't have the luck to catch it, I don't have as much free time as I used to have before, and for some higher multies we need to be patient and wait for them.

Well, nice crash contest... I hope there will be similar contests with some other games as well! Smiley
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cogitex really change the world? on: September 18, 2023, 02:58:41 PM
Let's ask an important question: can Cogitex really change the world?

What is Cogitex? Once again we hear "hop", but where is the jump? Big words usually end up with some disaster, so before "changing the world" try to bring Cogitex closer to people, let's see something "real"(jump) before we get crazy big ideas (before we hear HOP).

Good luck with your ambitious goals! Smiley

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416178.msg62824467#msg62824467

So I got one big zero from 20 free spins at $0.2 bet... It takes a lot of luck to hit a bonus round or a bigger win through free spins! I claimed many free spins from different promotions, but I can't say I was lucky, maybe once or twice I had some significant wins. With just 20-30 spins I usually get 0 - 1$, which is nothing.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 07:28:47 AM
Well, I feel old... I remember those days, we called them "matchstickers".

You could always find them near the various markets, and bus/train stations. They work in couples and mostly scam people from outside the city. I didn't like this game, so I never played it. I started with betting on sports... in the beginning, we had just a few betting houses in the city. And that was nothing special, just one big room with one or two TVs, a small desk with some old computer and printer. Some of them had poker machines and one or two fruit slots.

I gambled on the street with friends, and for years I have been in crypto gambling... The conclusion is simple, gambling is gambling, and without some control, people can lose a lot and never recover. On the streets or online...

You just need to check the betnomi thread to see it wasn't exactly promoting rather than defending. And they can answer for themselves if they weren't ducking this thread. Like I said, funny how everyone is absolved of responsibility when it all goes wrong.

Well, I was active in that thread, and I had a good time playing poker on Betnomi with some other forum members... and it was the only place where I could play "Farkle". I take responsibility, I played there and I had some quality time, and I wrote about that... like many others. Their disappearance was a surprise for all of us here.

Nobody is "ducking" this thread, it's pointless to discuss it more... I think that only some serious legal action against the Betnomi team can finish this story. But who is eager to spend money on that? That's why crypto gambling is like a "wild west", we all gamble with crypto casinos.
