1026  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: June 02, 2013, 05:21:26 AM
Does the CoinLender's backend support mining to the deposit addresses (As in P2Pool or Elingus)? And would it be acceptable to use the same address continually instead of updating it as with normal deposits (keys rotating on each deposit, which is normally very nice).

Also, what are the minimum deposit rules (I know you mentioned a dislike for dust for good reason) assuming the account balance is still sufficient (>1 BTC)?

Just being curious, why would you generate a new address for every deposit? Instead of just 1 per account?
I use getaccountaddress, which "returns a new address whenever the old address has a non-zero balance. This is intentional" (for anonymity purposes).

Old addresses will still work, just like Mt Gox Smiley

You can deposit as little as you want, but grains of deposits would burden Coinlender and force to make the withdrwal fee higher for you i guess

Dispy: for the chain issue, i guess if you are doing a variant on that, should probably keep the transparency that we are having now.

Yeah, I agree it's best to keep all bids on the chain so people can see what's going on  Cheesy

Sphero is about to go for only BTC0.15, these things are worth more than BTC1:

[quote link=http://www.blockrun.com/faq]
How much do I need to bid?
The aim of the game is to be the highest bidder when the auction ends, so you need to bid more than the current bid and ideally more than any pending bids.

The first bid on any auction must be more than 0.05BTC, but you can do any increment higher than that; i.e. you can bid 1 Satoshi higher than the previous bid.

1035  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: May 31, 2013, 05:06:25 PM
If you are 15, you should probably be careful with your Bitcoins and not risk them on games  Wink

Thanks for your warm reminder. Since i got in Bitcoin some time ago, which I got some (2 digit BTC) bitcoin left after having myself equilibrium on the fiat side. So I treat whatever i have here as a lesson fee, if I fail. I have gone thru leverage trading of BTC, dragon tales, plus some more freebies gambling here.

(One put their coins to cold wallet for a reason. Coz one does not simply spend them away)

Hi BlockRun Team, I really appreciate the work you made (and i have got the winner position! for just 0.011BTC)

Just a few points during my bidding experience that I'd hope that my two cents thought can improve the experience of other users.

1: The delay of your Bitcoin rpc server got a pretty darn great delay. You know the time of penny bids really matters. (PS: the realtime incomings is fines, the problem is on the block count)
Proof: http://imgur.com/ZYXqvdH

2: Why not put a claim button on the ended event page, the navigation now is kinda confusing.

3: If i didnt fill the countries/address it shows "The Bitcoin Address you have given is incorrect; contact support@blockrun.com". But actuallly is just caused by rejection of blanks input on the Address details.

Happy customer from 177r6JWcG6mEZRQSPMYbSq7HmtWVahtzWJ  (aka 1CasperDEhyGD81WNPo9qkaFnWxUSWmrqk)

Using the randomness of timing on Blockchian for the penny auction timer is an awesome idea. Keep it on!

EDIT:

With the current business model WITHOUT minimum incitements, it is not quite sustainable. I love your service and wish you can hang on tight this moment and hope you will go great in future
