1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much does the community trust crypto banks on: April 24, 2020, 11:22:48 AM
I don't know what exactly you are asking about but there are a lot of trusted exchanges and crypto banks at the moment.
If you are a trader, centralized exchange like Binance and DEx provides a easy and cheap experience with trading. If you just want to convert one coin to another their are many of spot exchange and spot DEx. If you want to store your coin for interest, both of exchanges and interest bearing wallets like Celsius and NEXO provide it.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Implement a Max Bet Option on Sportsbooks on: April 23, 2020, 01:24:43 PM
A gambling site would probably never do it a they earn the most from rage bettors. Sports betting is much more analytic and if you stick to rule, you'd make a profit in long term. The only reason why sportsbook exist is because no one sticks to their rules. People are overwhelmed by a few bad choices or when their favorite player/team is in action.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is An STO? on: April 23, 2020, 12:06:28 PM
STO are tokens that promises dividends. The rate of dividend maybe fix or depends on the net profit of the project. Some of these STO are actually regulated and audited. But many projects has started to misuses the term and call every of ICOs as STOs. So, there's no difference at all unless you find a project is actually regulated by any entity.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: April 21, 2020, 06:59:01 PM
There are issues with most of the centralized wallets. Coinbase restricts your account if they found you to be using gambling sites. Xapo excessively increased it's withdrawal fees and I left using them. Freewallet is a scam, they'll scam any large amount. For Nexo, I'm using it as a bank account and I have no personal problems from the site itself.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DEX tokens/coins - The new gold rush? on: April 21, 2020, 05:13:13 PM
Though DEX are behind Centralized exchange by volume at the moment, no one disagrees that trading of coins would be dominated by DEX in the future. Just just needs to improve enough to be both user friendly and secure. DEX takes a less fees but their general operation costs lesser that's why people are attracted towards it's currency.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 21, 2020, 12:45:54 PM
Halving decreases the amount of bitcoin as reward to miners. As the cost for miners won't decrease, the miners should compensate it by increasing their selling price. They won't sell their coins for a loss. If the miners hold their coin, there would be no more circulation of new bitcoin and the price would surely rise.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 12:27:58 PM
It would be in very best for him if he be able to stay away from gambling and use that money on something productive. Easy wins is infamous in forcing people back to gambling until they lose what they earn. Gambling as an source of income doesn't work. It's best to gamble reasonably.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 21, 2020, 02:39:58 AM
In case of telegram bounty, the project wants as much IDs in their channel so that the number looks large. They don't just care about what the IDs are and where they come from. Even some project personally hire such services to boost their numbers while they don't care if bots are entering their bounty which undermines the reward of legit users. That's one of the reason why I've stopped joining Telegram bounties.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum- Another Ponzi Scheme ? on: April 19, 2020, 04:30:41 PM
Livecoin exchange and Yobit are infamous in listing ponzi coins. They have a number of unknown coins that only exist in the exchange. Some of them doesn't even have a blockchain or explorer and are tradeable only on the exchange and not withdrawable.
And any investment promising a 2%+ fixed monthly return would certainly be a ponzi.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Share] Biggest wins in online Casinos on: April 19, 2020, 04:15:00 PM
There are simply people who are lucky enough to win bigtime. I think this is the reason why there are gamblers who are really into gambling. They  are aware of people who actually won and became rich in gambling which may gave them the idea to do so, making other gamblers to rely that much in their fortune in gambling, which would boost their life situation. But that should not be the mentality of a gambler because it would more likely yield to gambling addiction and frustration, in my opinion.
They are blinded by the amount of jackpot they can possibly win in gambling and the idea that some people actually win big amount of money. Though you can certainly win in gambling, not everyone has that kind of luck and can experience such things.

These people on the list probably are the luckiest people.  Winning such a huge amount of prize is a once in a lifetime experience that can change our whole life. We can also win (maybe not as huge as their winnings), but in order for us to appreciate it, we need to be contented with what we have won. Others can't realize that because they often use the money they have won to gamble again and ends up losing everything.

All of these wins seems to be in traditional online gambling sites that don't accept bitcoin or cryptocurrency. All of these are for Mega Jackpot or some similar scheme which are a rare winning on casinos. The ones that really won that are really lucky. But there are many instances of such jackpot being manipulated as these are not generally provably fair.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really revolutionary? One attack after another. on: April 19, 2020, 03:59:44 PM
The decentralized Finance technology are new and varied. That's the reason why many of them are attached. It's also due to the lack of safety measure implemented by those DEFis.
As we grow towards a universal platform and solving issues, Defi would be one of the most secure way to handle our finance, fast, efficient and secure.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can POLIS surpass DASH and become nr. 1 in the payment industry? on: April 19, 2020, 11:54:21 AM
I have looked the whole internet but could not find any reference for the POLIS coin and it's use in amazon or any of these services. These fraud claims only defames the project and brings no yield. But with everyone with a username and no verification of individuals, the OP could even be intending to defame the project or is trying to increase his blog viewership.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * BEST Poker sites w/ BTC * on: April 19, 2020, 10:35:55 AM
SWC is my go to for poker games. There are many tables that are filled by real persons and they have freeroll tournaments.
There are many other poker sites but most of them have empty players and the freeroll tournaments are filled with bots.
Betcoin.ag, Nitrogensports too provides poker on their website.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Utility Token on: April 19, 2020, 06:25:31 AM
There were many promises of utility coins and hardly any delivered. Some coins that host other sidechains or dapps comes in work once a token/dapp is issued over it. ETH works in that way, TRX is quite famous among gambling dapp like wink, EOS too has it's own dapps. Rest of that genre, every utility token has failed to deliver be it Vechain, one of the oldest retail token.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 18, 2020, 04:30:23 PM
What we interact with are wallets and it's wallet that are not friendly to blind people. But that might not be the case always as bitcoin gets more popularity. Bitcoin's official wallet is also an open source project and I don't think we could see a text to speech feature or a braille friendly feature anytime soon. A third party, that could even be us who thinks of that group of people should work on creating one.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 26 days to the halving left, what are you expecting? on: April 18, 2020, 11:21:12 AM
I am hoping the price of bitcoin would soar past $10,000 USD again after the halving event, I bought some bitcoins last month when the price of bitcoin crashed below $5500 USD. I am planning to hold those bitcoins I bought for long term investment, as I am expecting after the halving event, the price of bitcoin will have a high chance to rise because the bitcoin miners will have lesser amount of bitcoins to sell on the crypto-currencies trading market with the bitcoin mining rewards reduced by half.

At least they should have been our initial though, we need to see the price hits 5 digit again and then we will see how it will go. Because if we hit that magic number of $10k, there will be FOMO fuel again and push the price even further. So this is what people are expecting this coming halving, just a couple of weeks now. Others are excited by there are people who chooses to stay calm and see what it will bring, but I'm sure everyone is hoping for the 5 digit at least.

Either good or bad, this halving would give a direction to the bitcoin project. Bitcoin hash power has always been on increase. With current price and bitcoin halving, many of personal miners would go on loss as reward decreases. Either the hash power needs to decrease or the price needs to increase over 10K for the profit/cost to be whole number.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we are not having more houes like freebitco.in[unique cases of freebitco.in] on: April 18, 2020, 11:07:05 AM
They were purely advertisement based faucet when they started. And with the introduction of dice and it's relative success, they found it's much more profitable to operate as a casino than a faucet. Not to forget, they are also a large bitcoin miner and every reward they gave are generally freshly mined coins.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: April 18, 2020, 10:14:51 AM
Looks like the corona virus will affect cryptocurrency too, I think that price will fall a lot, because people will need money and will sell Crypto, what are your thoughts about that?

Coronavirus won't have large effect on prices of crypto and as the pandemic eases, people would have much more interest towards crypto. The current situation won't remain longer and things would be normal within next 3 months. With bitcoin and it's fork halving this year, we could expect an overall upward trend in crypto prices.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: April 18, 2020, 07:53:12 AM
Several months ago on freebitco.in, where you could choose from several options: Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris and Others, I placed my bet on "Others"(with some amazing outcome odds back then, and now they are 18.93, not that bad either).

But today I think it's obvious that Trump is going to win the elections. Well, it's not 100%, but 95% I'd say. And that's why I will probably not make another bet on this event. I hate betting with the outcome odds less than 2.00. First off, it's too painful to lose such a bet; secondly, you can't win much in the case of winning.

With the pathetic approach to handling coronavirus crisis, from denying to blaming others, Trump is losing his approval at a higher rate. Democratic doesn't have any face to stand against Trump but the situation may demand any face on presidency but trump. In such situation, even a not well known candidate may win the elections.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona crisis will be used to implement mass surveillance, BTC to the moooon...? on: April 18, 2020, 04:47:47 AM
Surely this corona crisis would be used against privacy and personal freedom and we've seen China implementing a health QR code to everyone and you can't even walk outside without one. This will move into a all round monitoring of people. You won't be able to leave your mobile(you GPS) anywhere you go. All of your motion would be tracked.
