10201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [DotA] Bitcoin Warcraft III DotA Players Ready for Tournaments Here? on: January 26, 2017, 04:59:12 PM
I think we can make us of hamachi for this to connect to each other. Or can anyone suggest something that would allow us to connect our LANs together wherever we are. Unless everybody playing is in south east asia then we can just use garena and play together there. What do you guys think?

I think South East Asians Servers needs to be compatible with their Internet Service Provider per location or region that's why only local games are mostly played in Garena. I don't also think Battlenet itself in DoTa will be helpful. I think Ranked Gaming Client can considered here since they are allowing every internet service provider in their client. Just don't know if today it's still operating or not.

Never heard of Hamachi.
10202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your bet in nba finals , GSW or Cavs? on: January 26, 2017, 04:28:57 PM
How about other teams? Yes those two teams that OP mentioned is currently the favorites that will entered the NBA finals but we are just the half of the season. Also "upset" always happen in NBA games especially at the Playoffs game. Well who knows.

Much better if we just stick to the NBA thread to discuss this rather than making a new one.

10203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price climbing fast again on: January 26, 2017, 04:20:31 PM
Not as fast but on a slow one. Yes price are back again closely to the last high after the recent price decrease. Well nothing new since we are in building a correction price. Still buy rate level I considered is $800-$900. This is really interesting since $900 level seems to be the breaking point. What matters here now is the resistance so that we may called this level a new bottom "someday".

A good starting point to if ever some big hoarders will attempt to make such big price increase.
10204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 26, 2017, 04:07:54 PM
I see again another risky pick and will try it for small amount as always.

Dallas Mavericks @ 4.1 (and expecting it will be more higher while game is approaching). I know Beastbrook is really on his beast mode and just recently got his 60th triple double of his career passing another legends in NBA history of getting triple-double in their career but it will not stopped me to bet on my favorite team of all time, the Dallas Mavericks. Ups and down just go lol.

I like risky pick after all.

Then ayan makikita mo na iyong dulong sheet. If wala pa rin talaga you have to open it in Google Drive na or install Spreadsheet. Pero tingin ko gagana na iyan sa sinabi ko. Try mo lang and feedback later. Smiley
10206  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How Does Someone Compete With Poloniex? on: January 26, 2017, 10:49:31 AM

That's true this is one of the reason why I seldom use my account, because they don't have all the coins I'm trading from other exchanges but I believe hey are top exchange I read a lot of positive things about this exchange and every coin's goal is to get here.

A considered top exchange that already established a good name in the world of cryptocurrency will never list all altcoins in an instant. Poloniex have standard that coins must have in order to be listed in their exchange.

That's why as you can see, once the coins was listed in Poloniex, it will turned that coin into a stable one that worth to trade. While having such features like that, they are also delisting coins that doesn't established a decent volume in a certain period of time which is good for altcoin traders to stay away from those coins that will turned to a shit one.

10208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit running scam coin? on: January 25, 2017, 05:38:45 PM
Yobit is known at the place where life and dead coins are getting along. Most of the shitcoins are there, even the one that will turned to a shit someday. Yes they are like that since their commencement of operations that's why they are known for that kind of image.

As anything else, even it was listed there and volumes are not active then no investors will get being hooked. Same for the newbies out there in altcoin trading as obvioulsy no active volumes = no profit.
10209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [DotA] Bitcoin Warcraft III DotA Players Ready for Tournaments Here? on: January 25, 2017, 05:04:04 PM
Just my concern:

How's will the players connect? I mean thru Battlenet, Garena client or something like that? Do you have a unique server? :O Most of the Dota1 hosting is not compatible with other internet service provider that's why other platform such as Garena have unique room for it. How about Rank Gaming Client? It still working up to today?

I think this thread is not appropriate here, maybe at Gambling Discussion or Gambling section. Im a Dota1 enthusiast and one of my favorite hobbies back in my "happy" days. Bring it on! Count me in.

10210  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking to leave Coinbase on: January 25, 2017, 04:03:13 PM
I'm now officially fed up with CoinBase. They rapidly accept my money when Bitcoin price is rising and I purchase, but if BTC has peaked and I need to sell quickly, the app conveniently becomes busy, and cannot process my request to sell.

They're basically forcing me to take losses.

Can anyone recommend a TRUSTED app with an exchange that is quick to process all requests that is also easy to use? I would prefer one in the USA. And one that works on the iPhone.

Thanks.

Mind trying that in their web platform? There is a difference if using an app and web platform. It is similar to our local bitcoin exchange where I encountered a slow response when Im selling it high price while using the app. Then just the recent road to $1000 of bitcoin price I do selling at the web platform thinking that slow response of sell will not happen again like I experienced in the app and it's run smoothly.

So I think you might want to try it in Coinbase and see if it will become effective too.
10211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 25, 2017, 01:05:11 PM

I wonder what is the moneyline odds offered for Miami Heat. If ever there is a risk taker I think that's a nice profit as any opponent of Golden State Warriors are having a decent odds. On the other hand, Im not surprised with the Pelicans moneyline odds since I think it's not that high as they are one of the above average team in the NBA even against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Speaking of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron James is really pissed off with the output of the game. Well for me I will be pissed too if ever. Imagine those 97 points by big 3 and their total score is 122, what his other teammates doing all the time? Also Lebron and Kyrie have really gone for so much playing time which is not good as it was tiring. Lue doesn't have a choice if their other teammates doesn't moving up.

Lebron James raged fo 5 defeats in their last 7 games. He is asking the company to another point guard who can help him and Irving.
Lebron James in the last game played 44 of 48 minutes and is the one who has played more in the NBA (37.3 minutes on average).
Lebron James thinks in Cleveland are satisfied for the win last year but he wants to keep winning and does not approve of what's happening.
It's definitely not because of the players, they have a lot of players that can step up. It's the coach decision on how he will manage his squad, and if he put more minutes to his starters, that would simply mean that he does not trust so much of his bench players.

I suggest, they have to follow the warriors players rotation, they will improve for sure.

Some insights of Cleveland Cavaliers in their last game against the Pelicans:

Tristan Thompson: 27 minutes | 2 points
Iman Shumpert: 27  minutes | 10 points
Richard Jefferson: 22 minutes | 5 points
Kyle Korver: 26 minutes | 5 points

See some of them have lots of playing time as per role. And looks like you didn't watched the whole game. The Cavaliers are being down for really a large margin of lead since the start of the game up to third and the largest was they are being down to 22 points . So you will use bench here to make a run? As you can see they aren't effective that night so Lue has to put up more minutes on his starters to make some comeback. Pelicans are not a weak team and can able to maintain a large lead so what will be the effect of it if Lue plays his bench squad to make a run?
10212  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: lauda demoted on: January 25, 2017, 12:42:56 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1397579.480

Lauda is still on DT and makikita mo yan sa trust settings or by simply looking at those account na natagged niya and andun iyon sa trusted feedback ng account. Nademote lang siya as staff so di na niya magagawa ang mga priveleges ng pagiging staff which is talagang helpful lalo na kapag may maling nagawa ang isang member sa forum.

In terms of actions, Lauda is great and no doubt, one (or the only) of the most active staff.

10213  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth buying now from BitcoinATM? on: January 25, 2017, 11:17:55 AM
Hello everyone!

I have been reading through the forums at a rapid pace for the past month, and I have decided that it's time for my first bitcoin purchase. So, I have a Bitcoin ATM near me, that sells at the time of writing for 901€/BTC. That's about preev+7%. The machine only accepts cash, and is provided by a trusted organization. So would you say that now is the right time to buy (and a good rate, I can also use paypal) some bitcoins to start experimenting and getting into cryptocurrencies? Should I wait for a better price or buy in pieces to get a better average price? Share your opinions please  Cheesy

Edit: Also found that there are CoinerFi ATM's selling at preev+3%, and Finnish bitcoin embassy meetings where I can get bitcoin for almost preev price. What do you think where should I buy?

Regards,
Henkkaa

There is no such thing as better price since a price rate that considered high today can be a bottom someday. Back in the days where bitcoin price was stuck at $200 level for half a year, $300 is considered as high price, so goes with $350, $400 and $500. But now they are totally a super cheap price to consider and chances of the current price rate to become low is possible even by lower chance. Im not a trading expect but I see $8-- to $9-- as buying level. If you want to take the risk you can challenge the price volatility now at the current price rate.

Anyways Im agree with one of the posters here, why don't use bitcoin exchange instead? Or you think that you can get more bitcoins by using bitcoin ATM in your place?  I suggest to make a comparison so that you can decide wisely.
10214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 25, 2017, 11:00:33 AM
Could bitcoin prevent crime?

I believe Bitcoin transactions via online wallets could prevent crime. People are going to use Bitcoin for legal and illegal transactions, however criminal transactions are susceptible to crime as cash is used for the transaction...which encourages theft. If bitcoin were used for these shady transactions, perhaps with escrow, there would be no opportunity to steal currency - couldn't this prevent crime? (Aside from the original criminal transaction of course!)

No it will not goes a way like that. The way bitcoin transaction is performed and execute, it's more convenient and appropriate to use in illegal transactions. If doesn't then we should not seeing reports about bitcoin having used in illegal activities or simply as all government in the world will accept bitcoin 100% without any doubts.

One thing that some of countries aren't hugging the bitcoin system is because it's really more prone in money fraud acitivities. Even being regulated and centralized somehow couldn't be an assurance that no fraud will happen in bitcoin. Look at fiat now being a centralized one, still lots of usage in terms of illegal activities.
10215  Economy / Services / Re: need help about a transaction on: January 25, 2017, 10:48:56 AM
I promise i never ever use youbit (truely yoshit) again.
A withdraw from yoshit is unconfirmed since over 30 hours. They dedcuted 0.0005 fees but i think they not included enough fees for this transaction. as a result my transaction is still not confimed yet.

when i'll receive this transaction?is there any way?

I tried https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ but Submissions are beyond limit

After reading some suggestions here I think you are now enlightened on what it's going on. Right now, Bitcoin network is currently overloaded and the effect, it takes longer than usual for transfers bitcoins to confirm.

You just have to wait since no one can control that. Also this is a nice point from one of the poster above:

A higher fee would have given a faster transaction, but if everybody does that, the only result is we all pay more for waiting just as long. Fact is: Bitcoin blocks are full. Paying more is not going to change that, it only buys the paying person priority.

10216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price speculation make sense on: January 25, 2017, 10:31:22 AM
I've seen a lot of threads on this forum, speculating about the price of bitcoin regularly. We make guesses but what are they based on? It might be a chart with previous fluctuations but we know that if something happened once it doesn't mean it will happen again. And yet I guess it is us, the btc users, who actually control the price by believing in it bieng worth something. What do you think?

Speculations by all people here in the community does really have sense if in such cases they can show some reasons and support to their basis why should that speculation would become senseful in any ways. Stating like "$4,000 , $3,000 by end of the year 2017" isn't speculations to consider literally but rather a guess one.

But you know speculations can be a reference for people if how will they respond to the current price rate whether to buy or to sell their stash. The effect of it is kinda can give impact on how will they react to the possible price movement in bitcoin price.
10217  Economy / Speculation / Re: The only way to get rich is by riding the next big alt pump on: January 24, 2017, 07:35:26 PM
What is the respective amount that a user must have in order to be called as status of being a rich?

Well as much as possible I try to always follow the bitcoin trend and able to take a ride on it but not eyeing for becoming a rich as long as I get profits which is the main reason for investment purposes.

Anyways....

Therefore we must put our BTC to work, and that means taking big risks.

That's how it should as investment whether putting on btc or other alts has a big risk. Getting profits thru other alts needs some risky movement since the output isn't clear especially with the new coins on ICO.

As investors, we should focus on searching for alts where we can be whales, problem is like I said before: All alts are gimmicks/lame, and the fat pumps already happened.

So the bottom line, gambled money and hope for the best on those chosen alts. Altcoin price volatility movement is different from the phase of bitcoin price so an active volume on regular basis should help while playing with the alts.
10218  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [For Sale] Clash of Clans account. Level 67 TH9 on: January 24, 2017, 07:09:36 PM
Provide screenshots as details are lacking:

-Buildings / Defense / Walls
-Troops Level
-Hero Level (Big factor in terms of pricing)

But I will assume that is mid TH9 or even a TH rush. Why? Level 67 is such a low level for TH9. So meaning buildings are not upgraded to the extent available at Town Hall 9. Anyways just post a pic.

P.S $30 is too much if I will based on your words.
10219  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: January 24, 2017, 06:52:18 PM
Why is it taken so long to deposit it use to take 5 mins for btc to be in account taken 2hrs and no funds?

Maybe a network problem.

As you can see, there are some users recently and even today who are experiencing a slow confirmation. The network is overloaded indeed. But don't worry since 1xbit only need single (or few) confirmations for the amount to be reflected then you can proceed to betting instantly.

Mind posting the transaction ID?
10220  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why do so many people hate Coinbase? on: January 24, 2017, 06:41:07 PM
I've never had a problem with them from buying with them through the years and don't really see the source of all the hate for the company. Could anyone go ahead and provide some insight into why people hate it?

Thanks.

You have just seen some recent problems of a user here with Coinbase but I think as a whole, it's not that much.

Here are some things I saw:

- People things that they will still have those decentralization life in their bitcoin once they use Coinbase without going on a fact that this exchange is a registered company and has to follow laws involving money
- Taking too long to customer's query if that is really a major one. In my experienced, I encountered some minor problem but Coinbase respond in just less than a hour so I don't know if that will be applied to a major concerns.
- Customers ignorance. Just accepting that they read the whole terms and agreements of Coinbase but even the header is not yet read.
- Accounts closed due to suspected issues which is unresolved up to now

But despite all of that, there are still lots of people using Coinbase. So for now we can't really say that Coinbase is really on a dirty status now. Maybe some things have to look out especially those frozen accounts.
