I fully expected exactly this kind of manipulation to happen to NAUT And as well as keiser's coins.
Massive unexpected cuts to supply, and massive manipulation to accumulate over 50% of the coin.
I waited many months for the full effect before I bought any MAX, START or NAUT.
This is how the big money is made. Buy now instead of dumping.
This is why Wall Street constantly outsmarts the middle class and robs them blind, cause they're obviously too fearful to make the hard choices and too stupid to learn.

What good is a long string of words if the conclusion is utter bullshit? The name of his book should be, "I Want To Sell This Book: Give Me Your Money." That's all he does for a living, you realize this right? He takes money from the poor and middle class and liberates it to the rich. That's what he's best at. That's all he's ever known how to do. And it sounds like he will continue to take your money as you have not woken up from the dream yet that Brian Kelly isn't just another POS Wall Street 1%er, hellbent on making the world a more confusing and depressing place for his own personal profit. |

Regardless though, you've made your point that you aren't interested in technology innovations, just brand names so you're really not even someone who would be interested in using the coin outside of exchanging it for BTC. Hence your opinion on the matter doesn't mean much.

Why does NXT now take an unbearably long time to load? It is completely impractical to wait for hours for the client to finally open, so THEN I can finally start downloading the blockchain, which also moves at an incredibly slow pace.
Whoever JeanLuc Picard is, your newest releases have pretty much killed NXT for me. Can you please do some rollbacks and announce when the client is back to the way it used to be (which was literally 20x faster to load)?

Shadowcash is some smalltime alt that you are pumping whereas Darkcoin is an established cryptocurrency with a huge following and a far greater degree of legitimacy and respect within the community (aka, anybody who knows anything about cryptocurrency).

That's the thing. How do we know that NEM is "groundbreaking" when it doesn't really even exist yet? I am more interested in the PON model of mining at this point: PROOF OF NEM Can we get some of that around here? February what? Please make the date firm. No more squirming around. If something isn't quite 100%, screw it, release it anyway. That's what Counterparty and NXT did and they've done just fine since. So please stop all the talk about how great NEM is until it actually exists. |

It is still high because people still have some hope left! If any bag holder loses his hope, it will be quite funny to watch naut  WOW! You guys lost a TREMENDOUS amount of money since last time I checked in. I mean, jeez, your coin is now about 1/3 the value that it was last time I looked at this thread. If only you had heeded my warnings as serious advice instead of just FUD, imagine how much BTC you would have saved. But no, you guys got wrecked instead. Maybe the developers have abandoned the project, but if you're reading this thread the official pool is stuck. I was mining again a few weeks ago but got thousands of coins that never confirmed and I decided to stop wasting my electricity.
Have been checking periodically and it still is stuck in the same place. Maybe you need to restart the server and point a miner at it to keep it working? Even just a couple of low-end gridseeds and an RPI should be enough to keep the network minimally ticking if you're planning to do anything with this project.
Yeah cmon HawaiiCoin guy, restart the server. I got a new laptop, I will try running a couple of miners from it. I have yet to successfully mine 1 HIC, now that the block reward is halving... I have half the incentive to care anymore. This could have been an actual thing. Hawaii actually needs its own currency, separate from the dollar. But it suffers from the same problem as bitcoin -- its just internet nerd money and you need to be an internet nerd to use it. Somehow this barrier has to be broken. |

I hate to throw a curve-ball, but I feel like we are seeing the same names over and over, the same people praising, and the same people complaining. I really think we are losing steam with new people adopting this coin. Are we waiting on launch to start more marketing/advertising?
The problem is called Telegram. 90% of active nemsters hangout in our group there. No, the problem is NEM isn't a real coin, after months and months of promises. That's why people are losing / have lost interest in this project. |
