10221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: July 16, 2016, 04:24:49 PM
If anyone should have become an overnight millionaire it should have been me. I've been involved in virtual economies for many years now (mmorpg gold exchanges) and if anyone should have had the foresight to become an early adopter of bitcoin it should have been me but instead I was wasting my time fucking around with virtual gold. I wake up every morning feeling depressed.
Oh, come on! Unless you're not one of those not wanting to buy pizza for thousands of btc, you shouldn't be very depressed
10222  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: July 16, 2016, 04:23:08 PM
I don't buy btc, I prefer to earn them) It's to risky to buy something that unstable, I guess
10223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 04:14:16 PM
Yeah, I'm sure bitcoin is used for illegal activities because bitcoin is anonymous.
Bad people take advantage from bitcoin anonymity to do illegal transaction, that way their actions will difficult to trace.

Bitcoin is a currency and we all know all currency is can be use to both legal and illegal things or activities online or not.I dont think that the government will ban bitcoin just because it is use to a illegal activity then if they will do that they must ban all crypto and paper currency because both currency is can be use on illegal things.
It can be used for both, sure. The question is that is btc used more for legal or illegal stuff
10224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of the world is MULTIPLE crypto currencies not just BTC on: July 16, 2016, 04:11:41 PM
My prediction is that there will be 2-3 cryptocurrencies and btc will be the strongest one
10225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 16, 2016, 04:07:05 PM
People aren't stupid, they are just conservative and keep suspecting there is something wrong everywhere
10226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know game like pusoy or tongits? on: July 16, 2016, 04:03:49 PM
Never heard of them. Sound interesting, though
10227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: July 16, 2016, 03:59:25 PM
I like to make autobets with little money on low probability things on dice
10228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: July 16, 2016, 03:57:17 PM
I suppose there is no profitable strategy and we all know this. The only "profitable" thing is to play only using the faucet money
10229  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poll: Is PrimeDice the "Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game" on: July 16, 2016, 03:54:25 PM
Primedice is easy to use and nice with all these bots giving money and some bets you can do (about this they write in Games and Rounds) and get 0.01 btc
10230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The higher roller . on: July 16, 2016, 03:50:46 PM
Who do you think are the higher rollers...

Gamblers online at bitcoin casinos.
or
Gamblers that play at physical casinos ?

Finally, why do you think that physical casinos attract more or less people (excluding the fact that bitcoin is not mainstream)
I think btc rollers are higher, but physical casinos attract more people, because they can give you free champagne or something when you lose. Another reason might be that people don't trust the Internet as much as the physical things as casinos and money in there
10231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on: July 16, 2016, 03:43:18 PM

10232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling 101 on: July 16, 2016, 03:38:18 PM
Okay we are all here because we enjoy gambling. Some are addicted, some in denial and some just flirting with it. I've been gambling since the age of 16, over 20 years now. I've rode the highs and crashed thru the lows, in the end I still enjoy gambling.

My advice is to dam well make sure and take advantage of the highs. Over the years I've noticed the peaks and valleys. Some days no matter what, you can't win. Nothing can change that and it sucks. Now the peaks. Those days everything you touch turns to gold. They happen, just not that frequently. My experience stems from live gambling, casino and sports.

Let me tell you how the mind of most gamblers works. When a gambler is winning, he gets to a point where he switches to protect mode. He's turned that $50 in to $250 playing blackjack and now he's dropped to betting $5 a hand again. Now let's reverse this. He's now stuck $250 and guess what? The bets get larger as he chases. You will witness this pattern in most casinos all over the world.

Now what you should do when you are hot is press! And press hard! Don't be afraid to lose your winnings, when your hot you want to take full advantage of this. On more than a few occasions I've turned $500 into $15,000 just by pushing. Six the hard way three times before rolling a 6 or 7, each time bumping it $25 more. Roulette wheel catching double spins, it happens.

In closing I will say that over the long run we all lose. But when your running hot and it does happen, press like a MOFO. Don't go in to protect mode, set yourself apart. Good luck whatever your betting on.
Maybe you did "win" 15 000, but I'm almost sure you lost more for the whole time. Or you will.
Just don't believe it's possible to earnings by gambling, sorry
10233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 15, 2016, 07:22:16 PM
What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none ga!nling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  Roll Eyes
I think the worst mistake is the gambling itself, because you put your money and lose. And pretty much everyone knows they'll lose and yet there are so many gamblers. What can be more stupid than this?
10234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing poker is a gambling activity? on: July 15, 2016, 07:19:21 PM
I actually mean playing poker professionally, like taking part in tournament's,etc.
Do you think that it is considered all across the world as gambling?
I suppose so. Wikipedia says poker is a gambling thing
10235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: July 15, 2016, 07:17:39 PM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
It would be the smartest just not to gamble at all, because eventually you'll lose using any strategy
10236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: July 15, 2016, 07:16:15 PM
If Gambling was not introduced then many people have to do the hard work for earning money.
If there was no gambling, people wouldn't be addicted and lose that much for nothing
10237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 15, 2016, 07:15:30 PM
Gambling is risky game of money from which most people lose and just a few wins. Gambling too is addictive and fun especially when you're winning and that's why most people can't get away from gambling once they get in it.
In gambling you only win from the start then you lose whenever you win a certain amount.
I consider it as a sickness and suppose sometime later there will be a more serious consideration of this problem by the community
10238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 15, 2016, 07:13:59 PM
A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
I would do my best not to gamble, because it can make lose lots of money and not bein that rich anymore
10239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: July 15, 2016, 07:13:02 PM
My strtegy is very simple. It is called self control. i strt with .01 anytime i get  more than .001 over that amount i immidieately withdraw that ammount into coinbase. this way, i cant get cocky and gamble away huge orofits! Ehat are you guys opinions on this strat
This sounds quite wise. I'm not deeply into gambling, so I just gamble with the faucet money and basically can't ever lose
10240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: July 15, 2016, 07:11:54 PM
What do you think is better - gambling on smallest bets on games with jackpots or just gambling high rolls? Playing marginal hi lo - odd 2 with 100% or odd 3 with 100%? Slots or cards? I like to gamble, share with me your strategies, wining or losing...
I prefer taking a small amount of money and autobet on something very rare in dice. As for me, you get your think a lot faster then after 10 000 bets (which is the probability of winning), so it's quite profitable.
But I suppose that still there can't be any profitable strategy of gambling
