10241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me a trading strategy on: September 23, 2019, 05:45:58 AM
Trading comes with a lot of techniques, but if you are just about to start, you might not need much of those techniques, with time you will get used to it and gradually learn the process needed to become a professional trader. Also, there are lots of materials online: YouTube videos, PDF files and the likes, that will assist and aid your quick learning.

What you suggest could be a way for every new trader who wants to search for a good lesson from the internet. They can find a more interesting video on Youtube so they will improve their skills in trading. I am sure they can find the other good lesson about trading so they can practice the lesson in real trading. After learning the lesson, they need to practice in the exchange so what they learn will be useful and they will have a chance to know how to get the benefits from the lesson.
10242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: September 23, 2019, 04:48:35 AM
snip~
my reason only data security and complicated,
I don't gamble too often, so I don't feel I need a casino site that needs KYC,
there are now many good casino sites that don't require KYC,
so, don't mind the casino that requires KYC.

I am sure that is the reason for the most gambler who doesn't play gambling too often. They will prefer to choose the gambling website, which doesn't require KYC because they don't think that it will be safe for them to give the personal document. I don't like to verify myself just to playing gambling, and I don't see any reason for me to do that thing because I only want to get fun in the gambling games.
10243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 23, 2019, 02:52:50 AM
I don't understand the distinction between good and bad money. Let's assume that my wallet has 10 notes worth a total of $1,000 and I can't know which ones were used in casinos or illegal cases because I got paid with these notes. When I spend them, other bills will come to me and I won't even think about where they were used before me.

I think the distinction will be about from where the money comes. When money comes from gambling, some people will not think that it is good money. And that is what every religion says, and people can not use bad money for donation because that will reduces the good thing that we will get in our life. But that will depend on each person on how they judge the money comes from, and not all people will judge with hard.
10244  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: September 23, 2019, 01:59:29 AM
Today, it is not difficult to convert cryptocurrencies into cash, and we can find many sellers available in our country. I usually use my friend's service, and they help me to do that. I only need to sell some bitcoin to them, they help to send the money to my bank account, and the transaction was run less than 30 minutes. It's no problem for me if they use some fee because I still get the money in a short time. But sometimes, I use the other service like the local exchanges, and I don't have any problem too.
10245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 21, 2019, 11:57:05 AM
Now a days, I have observed that out of ten projects three or four are of new exchanges. At the moment there are so many exchanges available for cryptocurrencies. When we invest in other projects and its token got listed in one of the new exchange, we have to create account with that exchange to trade those tokens.
Do you really think that there is a need of so many exchanges? isn't it very complicated and lengthy to keep accounts in many exchanges?
Please share your views.

I think we don't need to register on many exchanges, especially in the new exchange because we don't know how good that exchange to serve their members. All we need is to register on the recommended exchange, which can help us to gain the benefits from trading, and we only need to make a profit. If we are registered in many exchanges, but we cannot make any profit then it's no use, and it's better to stick to one or two or three exchanges, and we are focus to our trading.

Maybe other people think that if they can register on many exchanges and they have each token from each project, they can make a profit, then they can do that. We cannot prohibit them from doing that because they will do what they want. We could only suggest them to be careful in the new exchange which we don't know its reputations.
10246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: September 21, 2019, 10:22:51 AM
Bitcoin can protect itself from the governments. As long as there is an internet connection, bitcoin will be running by itself, and I think the government will be hard to control bitcoin. It will help bitcoin if the government can protect and support bitcoin, so people don't have to worry about the bad things. It will differ if we talk about the bounty projects because the projects need to be controlled, so they don't scam people. People will feel safer if the government can manage the projects and will do something if the project scam the people.
10247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 21, 2019, 04:35:46 AM
Well, the words Dirty money is that money came from stolen and something you are committing crimes just for money or those illegal activities that you can earn money. If you had gambled with provably fair with your opponents or even the house edge without cheating the outcome on that is clean money and that is not dirty money. Indeed, the profit on gambling through honest way is not a dirty money.

but some religious people don't care about if the process is fair. the reason why they consider gambling money dirty is because it is said
on they're bible, quran etc.. that gambling is a form of sin which is greed it won't matter to them if it was fair as long as it came from gambling it is a sin for them.

You are right. But if we don't tell where the money is, I think they will not say anything, and we could still give the money to them. I think that will be a solution if one person still wants to donate the money from gambling to them. They will not know about the truth, and we could try to give some money to help them. But that will depend on ourselves on this because some of us will not okay to do that, and besides that, that is the money which comes from gambling.
10248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 21, 2019, 03:19:44 AM
When you invest in a solid project and hodl for the long term, then it's not a gamble, BUT when you invest in a worthless shitcoin with a scamming CEO, then buying & hodling for any length of time is a pure gamble with the odds stacked very much against you.

We don't gamble if we hold some coins, especially if we hold some potential coins that can increase anytime. Gambling itself is a game with the money involved, and it's not the same as holding. Holding is something that we keep for a while, and we are waiting for the price increases. If we hold for a long time, it doesn't mean that we are playing gambling because we know what we did.

it can be very gambling if the invest in unknown project. everyone has belief in a particular coin before buying a coin, if all wrong predictions back again to the coin holder. because basically what determines from the beginning is that the holder should have his own commitment and belief in what will happen in the market. different from ameteru trader who only bought without knowing the purpose from the start and only guessed the fate of the coin.

We don't need to select the unknown project because that will not give us a profit in the future. We need to search the solid project in out there, but I don't think that will be easy to find. But if we still invest in the unknown project, then I will call that is gambling because we don't know what the prospect in the future is. But if we can hold the potential coins or at least, we hold the strong coins at the market, I think that will not be gambling because we know that the coin will be increased in the future.
10249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping crypto from mass adoption? on: September 21, 2019, 02:27:32 AM
In my opinion, the strategy that could help people adopt blockchain technology and crypto trading would be making an effort to educate the masses about this technology. People will only adopt something that they have a full understanding of. Campaigns and advertising the technology on social media platforms where most people are participants would go a huge mile in helping the adoption of crypto.

That will help people to now better, and they can learn more about crypto. But so far, I think we are lack of giving information about crypto in many countries, so many people still don't know the existence of the cryptocurrency itself. If there are many people who already involved in the crypto world can spread the news about crypto in out there, I think that will attract more people to involve and join with crypto itself. I am sure people now become smart about something new, and they will search from the other source.
10250  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do I do with my bitcoins ? on: September 21, 2019, 12:45:33 AM
I am in mid 20's and holding and accumulating as much BTC as I can. I try to save a small amount of bitcoins every month so that I can do something with it when I retire.
But what if something unfortunate happens to me. What should I do 'now' so that the coins can be used for a good purpose in the future by the right person.
I know I can hide the instructions to the private key for somebody to take it in the future. But my question is whom should I give it to ?

I do not want to give it to my relatives or children since I want them to earn on their own and never depend on others money.
I know I can donate it to charity but what's the guarantee that the money will be gone into good hands and will be used for the right purpose ?

Are there any options that you guys think of ? Have you guys thought about such a scenario ?

You are still young, don't think about the bad things that might happen to you. But you can choose one of your trust person to hide the money and only give that money to the right person by selecting your beloved person so you can make sure that the money is in the right person. Maybe you can hire a lawyer who will hold the funds until the right time comes to give the money to the right person. I see some rich people do this with their lawyer, and they will remain silent until the owner of the funds has died so they can give the money to the right person. Only you will know who the person that should receive the money is.
10251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: September 20, 2019, 09:22:08 AM
There is no big differences whether you gamble with bitcoin or other coins as long as it has the same value in FIAT. It does not make any senses if you are not sad to lose huge amount of doge coins while you are sad when you lose some bitcoin worth the same as the dogecoin. I don't understand your senses to be honest, most people will feel the same when they lose on gambling no matter they are using bitcoin or other coins as long as it has the same value.

That is because if I lose, for example, 1k dogecoin, the value in bitcoin is something about $2.65382. Imagine if you lose 0.001 bitcoin, it will be $10.12625012 in the dollar. But I never use 10k in one round Grin
So what you choose?

If I were you, I would choose to lose in dogecoin because dogecoin price is not too high depends on bitcoin price. So I will accept that because I don't want to lose in bitcoin. Maybe you have much bitcoin, so you choose to use bitcoin for the bet. That is fine for you, but me, um I don't want that.

Yes, I feel sad, but the sad will not too deep than if I am losing bitcoin in the gambling. That is why I prefer to use dogecoin than bitcoin.
10252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 20, 2019, 08:35:09 AM
I think he should search by himself and try one by one of the gambling website so he can found what he wants. Maybe we can give one or two games on the same site, but it doesn't mean he will like the games because I think we have different ways to feel fun. Besides that, I believe there are so many interactive gambling games he can try, but I only suggest him not to use more money in gambling because he knows that it is wrong to do.

10254  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Going to my first meetup on: September 20, 2019, 04:37:14 AM
I am sure that in any country, there is a meet up the crypto community with each other. But unfortunately, many of them are not published their meet up so we cannot know which country that has a big community. I think if we can gather some meet up with other people who get involved in the cryptocurrency, and we publish it in here or another website, cryptocurrency will become popular in our city.
10255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: September 20, 2019, 02:59:30 AM
I never installed new wallets from Playstore or downloading from the website because I don't see they have a reputation in the beginning, so I think it's better to install the recommended wallet that we know. But it is better if you can buy a hardware wallet which has a good reputation like Ledger Nano or Trezor, so you don't have to afraid of the thief. You don't have to move your balance in the new wallet, and better you don't installed the wallet if you don't trust the wallet company.
10256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 19, 2019, 05:04:18 AM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

Well there's a lot of gamblers but not that profession. I saw a lot of gamblers and their profession is business man. Mostly gamblers do gambling just to keep away all their stress from their work but if that person makes gambling as a way of earning money and he or she do it everyday then its not for fun anymore it is now addiction and not profession

If that is the case, they only playing gambling without using gambling as their job. They have a jobs in out there and they consider to use gambling as a way to get fun like what we did. But I am sure that there are a professional gamblers who depends their life from gambling and they are making money from gambling too. But maybe we are difficult to find who are they because they don't want to show themselves as a pro gambler.
10257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: September 19, 2019, 04:13:16 AM
And that is not recommended if you bought bitcoin and use that bitcoin for betting because I am sure that you will lose much of bitcoin. You should change to use another coin like dogecoin for betting so if you lose a huge amount of dogecoin, you will not regret it. You know that you need to control yourself in gambling, so you need to have to take control to stop the game in anytime you want.

I don't see any sense whether we use bitcoin or altcoin in gambling, gamblers will just cash out in fiat, and then buy BTC again, that's the cycle.
Also, you have to remember that in bitcoin gambling sites we can gamble with sats, mbtc, or even ubtc, so we can accordingly adjust our betting amount.
That's really up to us on how much we are willing to risk and the kind of coins we will use in gambling does not matter much at all.

Yes, I know that. But you can see if someone using bitcoin and lose, they will use another satoshi to bet. And if they do that over and over, they can lose so much satoshi, and I think you already get that experience. I think it's better to convert the bitcoin into another coin like dogecoin, so we don't have to feel sad that we are losing huge money in gambling. But that is up to you Grin

Where is difference between buying 1 btc then gamble it with buying 4.7million doge then gamble it? The difference only because you think doge is much more than bitcoin, so you can play longer with that. But even though you won, let say 1 million doge, it's only worth 0.25 btc while you think you have won huge amount of money. You must be feel regret too if you lose all of your doge.

I can accept that 0.25 btc than I lose let say 0.1 btc because btc is worth to me. If I can have 1 million doge, I can use 1 thousand doge to play for a long time, and I don't think that I will be too sad if I lose all of them.

It will be different if I lose let say 0.01 btc, I will be regret that because with 0.01 btc, I can buy some food and drink for 1-3 days. That is the difference.
10258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 19, 2019, 03:11:53 AM
I often watch videos about cock fighting in youtube but never tried to bet online using crypto or fiat. Is the site still available? I want to try and experience betting on cock fighting.

Its also quite popular here but the local government prohibited this gambling game and even closed down the arena.

I think the site is not available at the moment because the game is a traditional betting game which not all country will have the games. Maybe in Asian, especially in Philippine and Indonesia and another Asian country, you will see these games played by many people. But in another country, it will not be available. And if this game can reach more people, I think in someday, we will see this game will be added in the online gambling site.
10259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My vision of the market in the coming months on: September 19, 2019, 02:14:35 AM
I am glad to see some of my coins have increased in a few days ago and so far, I think it could rise higher. I already sell some amount which I bought at a low price, but I still have another amount, and it's ready to sell at the next higher rate. If everything running smoothly like this, we will see the time for an altcoin to increase higher and I only hope that will attract the bull run for the altcoin will come early in this month. And after the bull run for altcoin happens, the bitcoin will break the highest price.
10260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebalancing Portfolio on: September 18, 2019, 01:49:41 PM
Why don't you invest in the top altcoin which you already know? At least, you have a chance to see your investment will grow in the next bull run although your chosen altcoin can be potential too. But I think you need to wait for more to see your altcoin will bigger in the future. You can hope that in the next bull run, all of your coins can increase and give you a big profit. But that is up to you, and maybe you already analyze each coin, so you decide to invest in all those coins.
