10261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling. on: September 24, 2016, 07:15:32 AM
It is very difficult to quit it but not impossible. Especially the sites put up tempting ads to attract players.
However try to get involved in other things that you love like your family and friends, or some hobby of your own. Anything that keeps your mind away from gambling and involved in other stuff will help you get over the addiction.
10262  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Shamanscoin.com - New Faucet Game | +100M Payout Satoshi on: September 24, 2016, 07:12:37 AM
I've been getting this error when I try to withdraw:

Not sure if everyone else is as well.
Same thing is on wildcoins generator too and can happen to everyone when the withdraw time comes ,and i don't think you need to post your data, this error might be a limitation for withdraw set per day. Unless admins won't be online to unlock it we will not be able to withdraw. We have to wait .
And this is not the first time when this error warning happens .

This seems to be happening everyday and I dont think I it is problem, like Crystal11 said, the admin might need to topup the hot wallet so that withdaws are enabled once again.

I am sure it will get resolved soon again.
10263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what fun in GAMBLING? on: September 24, 2016, 07:07:59 AM
Many people in this forum claim that gambling is fun but I never found it "FUN". You are risking you hard earned money on some casino games where the odds are against you. You may win some but you will lose loads because of the House Edge. At the end of the day most of the players may become beggars - thats bad, not "FUN"
If you don’t like it that is fine, you know, but there are a lot of things that may not be the best things to do and people still do them, for example drinking alcohol is legal if you have a particular age, however, the damages that alcohol do to the body are very well documented, but if a person choses to do it out of his own volition, then there’s nothing that we can do to stop it.

Quote
then there’s nothing that we can do to stop it.
We can make them aware of it if not the least.

I myself played at some gambling sites and never found it to be fun since the house edge did catch up very fast. Since then I quit gambling for good. It hurts me when I see people crying due to losses at casinos. I know it is their fault and addiction and none of my business but still its just my human nature that I fell compassionate for them and try to spread awareness among the masses.
10264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: September 24, 2016, 06:58:48 AM
Not much users in country for bitcoin and it is still not that popular here in stores/shops. I have to look for deals for exchanging bitcoin to fiat currency with other users of my country in this forum. Then I use it to pay bills, mobile recharge, shopping. I hope the condition will improve later on.

Best way for a steady income is the oldskool method  Grin
Study, work hard, get your own business or job. If you have the skills and the capital worth investing in a proper business you are going to make a profit. It will take time and lot of management but its worth it.
10266  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ARE YOU OKAY WITH THE FAUCET ADS? on: September 23, 2016, 08:50:44 PM
As long as the ads are not too annoying and disturb the claiming process I am ok with them.

Popups and popunders but 1/24 hours is ok for me as well

Stuff that I dont like are :

1. Redirection script that immediately redirects the page to another address while I am in the middle of claiming - extremely annoying
2. Placing ads on claim/antibot buttons - this makes me mark the site as  "Horrible"
10267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: September 23, 2016, 08:39:05 PM
Gambling can make you learn a few lessons of life which I believe is very important with helping anyone with their life: Grin Grin

1. No one gives away money for free - the casino owners are running a busniess
2. Greed kills everyone - the single most important factor making people addicted to gambling and then turning them to beggars
3. Hard Work pays off - Only legit method to make money is to study, work hard and then start or your own business or get a job.
10268  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 23, 2016, 08:30:11 PM
Bitcoin is not that popular as many people think it is. Some countries dont even have proper electricity and let alone internet connection. Moreover, e-commerce giants are few of those that accept bitcoin here and none of the local markets/shops/stores have ever heard of it. It very tough to get it accepted by everyone and I think the governments must work it.
10269  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: September 23, 2016, 08:27:14 PM
I would rather study, work hard and set up my own business which I am currently working on. A work at 1USD/hour is more like a job for me and not worth it. I do spend some time in this forum and am enrolled in a signature campaign. Collecting bitcoin here and there is also a part-time for me till my work actually settles in place.
10270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: September 23, 2016, 10:14:12 AM
Gambling is a very risky game. There is no safe method to gamble. The best thing you can do is to bet on sports which requires your knowledge and that can give you an edge if you know where to place your bets.

However in many cases the games are also fixed.  Grin
10271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: September 23, 2016, 10:07:09 AM
Any strategy is bound to fail in the long run. The game has odds against you.

People follow their greed and get tempted to bet large amounts. Whatever strategy you use, the best strategy is to cash out while still on a green streak. However in most cases that is not possible because the house edge makes the player go bust before he can cash out, or he is too greedy and loses all forgetting to cashout.
10272  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: September 23, 2016, 10:03:51 AM
Currently not spending, just collecting from wherever I can. My goal is to reach 1+btc and then hold it long enough to sell it. I might trade on it as well. But as far as holding the coins is concerned, I will hold them till the price skyrockets and have no problem to hold that even if it takes a decade.

You have a great level of patience mate, as I won't be able to hold them too long, I will surely sell them when I will be making some profits from it and buy them again when price drops.

Patience is the key my friend.  Smiley

Also it is true that I will also buy more in case price drops. But holding it yes I will hold them off long enough so as to yield good amount of profit. I dont like short-term investments. I prefer to go slow and steady.
10273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Freebitoin.in is a fraud on: September 23, 2016, 09:31:07 AM
I've never won anything on that site. So I don not recommend it. I was playing it every hour lol even bought 5000 tickets for lottery every week but still no luck I've been on that site for more than 6 months now.
You know that 5000 tickets on freebitco.in are basically nothing, right? This round alone there have been 29 million tickets sold...

And to OP and anyone else calling fraud when they lose due to variance: gambling might not be for you
Fraud probably does exist with some dice sites, but not with the ones that have a provably fair system (one that's actually provably fair).

Well I have been using this site for the faucet for sometime now, I hate gambling and didnt even place any bets on the dice game. The site has been paying well since 2013 and I trust this site's provably fair system and that the rolls are mathematically not manipulated albeit the house edge is a bit high for sure.

Those who lost in the dice game, simple stay away from gambling. Dont go around calling it a scam site.
10274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know when to stop? on: September 23, 2016, 09:14:09 AM
It is always recommended to play with some money making it separate from main funds. This will help you better to stop without having major losses in gambling. Gambling is where always keep loosing factor in front and try to take in consideration unseen facts of loosing. If you win try to stop at some percentage. I know how to stop and when to stop in gambling.

Segregating the winning amount from the remaining bankroll is good. However if you keep on losing loads, its better to stop gambling. Also sometimes greed takes over and you lose all, in those cases immediately stop gambling.
10275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 23, 2016, 09:11:42 AM
Stuff that can keep you entertained as well as relieve your stress should help you out. The best is playing with your kids or getting involved in some sort of hobby of your own preference, like gardening, writing, reading books, collecting stuff. Maybe join some local NGO and try to provide your service if you have free time.

10277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: September 23, 2016, 09:06:14 AM
Well the title always make me laugh out loud, like seriously?

People study, work hard to earn money for themselves. If it was so easy that go to a casino and earn your daily bread they people would just flock at casinos and make profits there. LMAO

The casino owners are businessmen and they are running a profitable business and not doing charity work. People should know this by now that the House edge will make them go bust at one time or the other. Dont expect to make loads of profits from casinos.

Easiest way is to not play at all. If you insist on playing and trying to make some profit, find a reputable tipster , place a monthly bankroll to follow him and place the same bets that he does in sport betting.

If he has a very successful history , in the long run you will be in profit. The problem is I still have not seen anyone doing this consistently , they do it only temporary some of the tipsters and then start to lose.
Well, that is safe but the topic does not answer that, there is always a safest way to play gambling because gambling is just for entertainment, if that is in your mind every time you play gambling then I would guarantee that you will not lose much but instead you will enjoy more.

Well I was being sarcastic to the OP, but honestly the fact that a person is even thinking that gambling is profitable makes me laugh.
And following tipsters is ok, but those guys a just want you to join as their referrals so that they get some commission - and that exactly why they do it.

As far as considering gambling as a source of entertainment, I would rather spend time with my family and friends and not "waste" money on some casino - thats my honest opinion.
10278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: September 23, 2016, 08:58:31 AM
Its very simple. They top three reasons are stated here by me :

1.Greed and pure Greed - people want easy money by doing nothing. Humans are lazy creatures.
2.Losing too much - they want to make up their losses. But this leads to even more losses'
3.Jealousy/Envy - someone wins a jackpot and then they want to win it too.
nice line up mate the first one is totally what i can say that is completely happening to many of us we just want easy money thats why we are getting addicted to achieved it but greediness as well keep us losing more and more.
I think we can translate that to one world only which is "greed", if we have that in our mind and in our heart we will be easily addicted in gambling and we are greedy to have more fun while also greedy to have money, and we know that would it result.

Yes greed is in the root of it like Mahatma Gandhi had said - "Nature has given us enough for our need but not enough for our greed."

Also you cannot ignore "jealousy" since the news of some close friend winning a jackpot will make you jealous and if you are addicted to gambling then you will end up at that same casino that evening trying to win the jackpot and the entire cycle of events repeat.
10279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think DiceBot will give you profit in the long run? on: September 23, 2016, 06:34:23 AM
In the long run gambling is not profitable, mark my word, several people might disagree with me in this forum but I dont care because it is the truth. These sites have a house edge, odds against the player. However experienced you are and however carefully you input a strategy into dicebot, you will lose in the long run.
