I just voted for $500 as that seems a more than reasonable price level to settle at. If we maintain to have a price stable above $500, and the support there is strong enough to catch dumps without going below $500 again, we'll surely advance further.

You do realize that the market cap back then was just thin air right? It wouldn't cost much money and effort to increase the value of Bitcoin at that time. Let's see first if we can manage to reach $1000 again, and then focus on other price targets.

Everything may look like MtGox, but as long as people can withdraw BTC and fiat without problems, there is nothing to worry about. Everything that goes up this quick, can do down even faster. Just make sure you don't buy at the peaks.

It looks like Huobi is comming back to earth, which makes the difference between them and other exchanges "just" $16 instead of $30 earlier this morning. They were probably hoping other exchange would follow to +$360 but it didn't happen. Huobi peaked at around $366 while the peaks of other exchanges were $30 lower!! Would be nice to hear from a Chinese trader at Huobi why there is such a huge difference.

It feels good to be part of the whole Bitcoin revolution isn't it?  I am supporting Bitcoin and convincing people to join the space ship since very early 2013 when the price was just around $20. Those who refused to join are kicking their heads against the wall, and those who joined are celebrating. It's definitely not too late to join. Just make sure you are part of it.

Smart investors have bought when the price was dumped to the ground at $200-$220 You remember how long the price was stuck at around $220-$240? Very long. People who didn't buy back then, when they had plenty of time, are now buying at +$300. That's the difference between people who are constantly doubting, and traders who know what to do and when to buy.

Porn, drugs, gambling and so on, are a always the first markets to use a currency, whether it's Bitcoin or any other fiat currency. This shows how capable Bitcoin is as currency. I don't see it as negative. Look at SilkRoad, it's the first successful merchants with over 1 billion $ worth of transactions. The media is the only negative part, they are simply spreading rubbish about Bitcoin while fiat currency is the all time nr1 when it comes to illigal shit. But you don't here them say fiat this, fiat that. It's always Bitcoin.

It's ok if people take profits when they make 10-20% profit, but why not waiting a few months and make at least 50% profit? It might be fear as they think, what if I don't sell and the price starts going down again?? It's all about making the right decisions and patience.

Rigged is not the right word to describe the volume of OKCoin 1,200,000BTC and Huobi 940,000BTC. It's beyond insane. The average traders always need to see the price go up before buying, so I also expect the price to go up further. Let's hope it will not get dumped to the ground again after a week or two.

My guess is that Huobi will break through the $400 barrier while other exchanges stay stuck on $360-$375 levels. Everytime I wake up I see my coins gained value. How can some one not like this.  

Whover is buying, it is fantastic as we haven't seen such a rally in a long time. It's time for some positivity  Something tells me that Huobi won't stop with pumping before reaching at least $400. The price gap between Huobi and other exchanges is way too huge, which might indicate that it is following MtGox's path. The price is going up too fast if you ask me.

If you look at how Huobi is imitating MtGox then it might very well be possible. Huobi exchange price is $360 at the moment!! $30 higher than all other exchanges!! This is just insane.

That's a great strategy! What I do is buying with 50% of the fiat I have for trading purposes, and the other part of the money will be used to buy up more coins when it goes down even more. That allows you to play the market without going all in. Always keep money to buy more when needed.

5.5K BTC is quite a large amount, but not enough to move the market this much. And that's considering they really bought 5.5K BTC. The current price advance looks more like a rally rather than 1 entity buying coins just to be able to pay the ransom. At the end it will only be negative as the coins most likely will get mixed first and then dumped.

I always consider the volume of Chinese exchanges Huobi and OKCoin to be 10 times lower than what they show. Currently Huobi's 24H volume is 710,000BTC, which is totally insane. 710,000BTC and then 10 times less = 71,000BTC which will still keep them at the nr1 spot regarding trading volume. These fake volumes are way too obvious. They probably don't care to hide it.

For the very short term I say, not really, as the Bitcoin price went up quite a bit in a short time. For the long term I say, hell yeah! If you plan to buy to hold at least a few years, then you will enjoy seeing your coins gain value throughout the years. But you do need patience and steel balls as there will be moments where the price will go down due to panic sellers.

It all depends on you. If you need a house and the real estate market in your area isn't already pumped to the sky, then why not? You can also choose to buy just started companies if you think they have a very high potential of succeeding.

Bitfinex just reached $313, If this is going to be a roller coaster ride as in the last months of 2013, then we'll definitely see fireworks. It feels good to see your coins increase in value every day

It requires a heck of a lot time, people don't seem to understand that. It may take 10 years or longer. There are people thinking if I buy now at $300 I will sell it for $10,000 just after the halving 

BTC-E has been like this for years. As mentioned above in one of the previous posts, it might have something to do with the fact that it is fairly difficult to get fiat currency into your account there. If I want to have a certain amount of fiat currency there, I just deposit BTC and sell it there to get $ in return. I have been doing this since early 2013. Best and fastest manner if you ask me.
