10301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO NOW OPEN on: August 30, 2016, 03:13:24 AM
if 2000 BTC goal can reach before the end of ico schedule, this ico still  live? or the dev decided to close cause the goal has reached
800 BTC only 3 days is good sight, i think one a half week the goal 2,000 BTC can be reached  Smiley

Once 2k BTC goal is reached it means ICO will be successful. ICO will run untill 29th September 20.00 UTC. Market will decide the market cap of ICN.

Accepted currencies: BTC, ETH, LSK, EUR, USD, CNY, JPY, CZK, RON, HRK, CAD, AUD, GBP, DKK, NOK, SEK, CHF, RUB, HUF, PLN, XDR and TRY, XMR should be accepted. even though Monero can be used via Shapeshift.IO it only allows small amounts and the XMR wallet is known to be unreliable on that site.

15% bonus is available only for 2 days 4 hours 54 minutes and 27 seconds.
10302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is Dogecoin dying ? on: August 30, 2016, 02:25:44 AM
What value does it present to the crypto community? If you were an investor/adapter today, why would you use Doge specifically?

It is a good solid coin that is stable with a friendly community and that is a recipe that is conducive to introduce n00bs and kids into crypto so it has it's place in the scene and also in history and with it's merge mining it is very safe.

Words do not exist to describe, trying to capitalize on Monero's success with an ICO with nothing more than a slight name change is pretty low. anyone that buys into this is a moron that deserves to lose, which they will.

10304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: August 29, 2016, 11:55:09 PM
Hello,

I lost my password of my wallet ¿ what can i do ?

If you have the seed you can restore the wallet and bypass the password, if not...

I dont know whats is the seed. I was mining this coin 2 years ago. I had 42 xmr

Oh, wallet that old might not have a seed. There's nothing you can do if you can't remember password. There are wallet recovery services that can try to crack it, but you have to have some idea of what password might have been.

Thanks for the information. I think i lost my XMR  :-((((

You guys look at the 2TB SSD or HDD, while I can't help but focus on:

128mb

I think you overpaid.  Grin

If you ever need a reference for work as a proofreader, I can endorse.  128GB naturlich.  At least I didn't show my age by slipping KB.

I suppose if I want to translate the GUI to Chinese, I should show up in #monero-dev, ask about which branch to touch, and make a pull request to it.

Seems really worthwhile to me.  They need Monero pretty badly in China.

W0w I did that last year, was at a computer shop and asked a guy for a 2gb. Doh

You realize that guy in your avatar got hacked to death with machetes and axes?

He should have bought stealthy Monero.
can you link it for me.

I consider it unfunny, but here you go:  http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-36804209

Correction:  "stones and a sharp weapon"

Thx, never heard of the guy and I have Avy's disabled. even if I enabled them though I would not have found that article. Weird man, wearing all gold in a third world country. Big surprise what happened. He'd be in alot of danger in most 1st world cities.
10309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 26, 2016, 01:27:39 AM
And how will he manage that? ETC is a transparent chain.

In ETC universe, he owns the coins free and clear.

I agree, but do the exchanges, that is the question.

Now mining only 13 blocks on average per day, with the new diff increase i'll be lucky if i do 10...

What kinda hardware do you do that with? I have a gtx 980. I wonder if I could ever get any blocks with that.

This is his hardware.

10310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 25, 2016, 08:05:22 PM
Has anyone considered that the ''hacker'' who took all that ETC may consider moving it through or storing it in XMR especially with the recent hype?

I think his coins become available on the 2nd Sept if I remember correctly, would be a great way to make it look like a ton of DNM money is flowing through XMR following the 1st Sept start of deposits on Alphabay causing another surge in price.

And how will he manage that? ETC is a transparent chain.
10311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE RISE AND RISE OF MONERO on: August 25, 2016, 07:58:04 PM
Fibonacci has never and probably will never work on XMR market, use it and lose. You have been warned.

I used Fibonacci and Bollinger Bands. It seems helping much in XMR trading. In any trading with high volume and liquidity, Fibonacci combination to other technical indicatiors are very useful

Yeah, have fun with that.

I always thought Boolberry was far superior to Monero but paid trolls and whale backers run these markets, not tech unfortunately.

You realize that guy in your avatar got hacked to death with machetes and axes?

LOL, can you link it for me.

Fibonacci levels used properly can work for Monero. Price declined to 50% level and tried to advance past 38.2% ran into a brick wall, heading back down to 50%. I think .0063 or 50% Fibonacci retracement has been shown to be important to Monero traders.

I think your  starting point is too low.  We already bounced off the 50% fib

.0063 is also confirmed as a significant support using PnF charts. I consider that the Monero bull run started when traders became aware that the SIGAINT email service had started a public Monero node on Tor. You can also tell from inspecting the charts that accumulation began about two months before the public announcement. That could be a fluke or possibly those in the know were stocking up on cheap Monero.

do you really think the whales that are fully capable;le and do manipulate this little pond of a market don't react to people using the tools your touting? DUH it plays into their hand. Why not just post right before your gonna buy, oh wait you are by following incorrect tools.

whatever you guys have been warned remember that when your ass is burned.

I'm trying to absorb the whitepaper but need this explained further.

Quote
As mentioned, the fund sponsor will act in the interest of the fund’s
investors and their investments, therefore it reserves its right to overrule fund policy rules when an
experienced team of currency analysts assesses that too risky investment decisions could be
undertaken.

What meets the definition of "experienced team of currency analysts"? Does that quote mean that the fund managers are the experienced team of currency analysts?

FTFY! Tongue

Do you think pump is over?

Fool. It's not a pump. the train has left. And I'm one of the fools left at the station.

It looks like you still have time to meet us at the next station if you take a taxi. Unfortunately taxis are much more expensive than trains but it will still get you there.

Did I take the analogies too far? Cool

LOL, spot on but it matters not as if it took one BTC to get around the world I've got myself so broke I can't afford to get outta sight! Cheesy

The best technical knowledge I have seen in the years of watching the market is experience, you get a feel for what the market is going to do. there a few guys that post that can see whats coming but I'll not point them out as those that spent the time in this thread to learn the honest posters and the manipulators deserve to profit from it. Just because you jumped on a bandwagon don't expect anyone to tell you the truth so you can profit. And that is free advice anyone just buying should heed. Your best bet is to go back and look at the charts and on the market moves go into this thread and read the corresponding posts.
10317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 24, 2016, 07:52:19 PM
I bought my first batch of XMR two years ago, around .005 BTC. I really wasn't sure if it would ever get to that price again, as the crypto community seemed to continually pass it up for inferior coins, like Dash. Now, here we are.

XMR "feels" like BTC circa 2012-13. People are taking notice. The advantages of Monero over any other currency are now being recognized by the wider community. Soon, they'll be utilized. Usage, speculation, the ecosystem, and the price are likely to grow ever faster.

I'm with you on this similar timeframe and circumstances.

If nothing else we have seen whats possible with a bit of potential adoption and raising the profile. Pump or not. Here's to the future.

Shame I diversified 1 BTC out a few months back, still I wouldn't be saying that if it went to 0 and that's Ristos point really isn't it.

Glad to see you guys still holding and finally seeing some gains. Smiley

Bad time to get into Monero??  Grin

This is the toughest question to answer that only the largest holders know the solution to. Where is their Take profit point? Who knows? They surely aren't going to tell anyone. Lol

So anyone that is going to answer this for you is either guessing or has an agenda. So don't believe a thing you read with the market doing this type shit. So there is some free advice that you can take to the bank. Smiley
