10321  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 05, 2016, 04:31:39 AM
Bitcoin is a currency/commodity like gold that is used in some exchanges with USD Dollar values.
USD is the typical fiat currency of the United States

Wouldn't say they are the same, just different roles
Dollars are also probably not a bad investment. At the time of speculation with dollars many people have suffered because of the fact that smelled this infection.
It depends on how you value dollars and when you compare the two you will know which is more profitable. Bitcoin is more profitable for me so I would not bother investing with dollar and since there's a rumor of possible dollar's collapse, I would rather put my money in bitcoin.
10322  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 05, 2016, 04:28:39 AM
I would not refuse paper money. This is the psychological moment of possession of money or moral pleasure when your wallet full of paper money.

I would not refuse paper money too... but i don't agree with your second statement that the moral pleasure is to have paper money in wallet... because even if i have bitcoins i still feel that pleasure of having money... no matter it is in paper or digital form but it is money at the end...
Yeah its only the volume that matters either in bitcoin or paper money as it gives you a feeling that you are holding good sum of money in your wallet either physical or digital and I think till bitcoin will not be used and accepted everywhere, paper money will always survive and not everyone will prefer to use bitcoins.
I use bitcoin more on my investment purpose because I do trade and hold bitcoin at the same time, my spending is only when I do gambling and pay some bills on a monthly basis, but my needs really was taken care of paper money and even the schooling of my kids.
10323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: November 05, 2016, 04:08:05 AM
Do you always missed the right time to sell or buy bitcoin?

Yes, I always missed the right time to buy bitcoin, just like whats happening in the price now. Its really regrettable to me why I didn't buy when bitcoin is 28k before and now is 34k, but I know its not too late yet.

Haha Cheesy same for me. It was last night when the price of bitcoin is really high. I had a thought that I will convert my bitcoin in fiat. But, I want it a little bit higher. Unfortunately, I lost my internet and cannot open in that night. I was able to check again this morning and the price drastically decreased which makes me regret too why I didn't convert it right away. It's too late now and I am hoping that'll happen again and I'm not going to loose that opportunity again.

Those who don't have a trading bot will eventually missed the right time to buy or sell in time of their sleep.  Basically it will take some time for bitcoin to drop in price but it seems the rumor about China considering on  implementing Capital control on bitcoin had a negative effect on bitcoin price.  Lucky I was able to convert my BTC to my local currency  before the price decline.
Yeah trading bots can be handy for that, but it's also best to keep an eye on your trading bot, it's always possible that you didn't configure him right, or that some mistake slipped in...
Never tried that bot but in my case i just set my margin and set what price i sell my bitcoin that you can set in every exchange or trading site..
I think you don't need bots if you can monitor it daily..

Me either I don't even know that there are bots when trading. So basically I can say that I am a very average trader because for the past month I am able to manage my tradings properly and get some decent profit but yesterday, it made me upset because that is the first time that I did some panic selling.
There are bots actually but the are not popular because most of the traders does not trust bots to make their decision especially when the amount of money involve is a considerable amount, in dice bot are popular but not in trading I believe.
10324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: November 05, 2016, 04:04:39 AM
Yes I put some of my money to bitcoin. Probably about 25% for investment. I do not want to put all of my money because maybe it was too risky, so I only put about 25% in bitcoin. I use it to invest in bitcoin bitcoin because I see the fluctuations tend to rise so that it can be a profit for me.

This is good view to hold your bitcoins with your earnings. Try to invest your bitcoins as like how you hold the stock or gold or something precious. However I am just holding the bitcoin from the earnings from my signature.

It is very risky if you are going to invest all of your money (cash) into bitcoins. Because of its unstable pricing then nobody really can't tell if the time you are going to buy bitcoins will tend to give you profit or not. That is a good way on how you are going to put your money, just a portion and percentage of your total assets is a good way to invest in bicoins.

For me the risk is really low. But I can't survive with only Bitcoins currency. All shops and stores I need to buy things on my daily life don't accept crypto-currencies, so I need my local currency also. A good investiment on Bitcoins would be the month savings. maybe 10%-25% of our money into Bitcoins can help to make a good profit on medium-long term.
Definitely bitcoin is good only for investment due to it's limited usage, we cannot spend our bitcoins in a daily basis to buy our needs so what is more important is to always think that fiat and bitcoin are both valuable for us, maybe time will come that bitcoin will be widely accepted but that is in the future.
10325  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 05, 2016, 03:56:32 AM
yeah its possible to get rich with bitcoin if we buy bitcoin in big amount and then hold it for the future and bitcoin suddenly cross the 4000$ price and then we can get a big profit from bitcoin and we can be getting rich with bitcoin easily.
Its required a big amount of investment with that method but its true hold it for 1-2 years and sale it after that.
That depends on your target, if you like your money to grow like x10 of the original amount then maybe you can hold it for 10 years if you can. whatever you like will happen as long as you have a good business plan or investment plan.
10326  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 05, 2016, 03:54:08 AM
I would decide to have Bitcoin and Gold, because in addition to the diversification of my investment, I would have two assets with great potential, with a broad market and capable of providing significant gains.

You know what, it is my dream to have gold in the first place but the fact is the market of gold is getting tougher enough then I am not able to get some good investments with gold and it is really expensive before you can have your own gold investment. So for me, I am now able to have an alternative good investment with bitcoin.
It was also my dream before but when I know bitcoin it changes everything, I wake up in the next morning thinking that I should invest in bitcoin as I have more chance of making money here than investing in gold, and you know what, I was right..
10327  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: November 05, 2016, 03:50:52 AM
Bitcoin is not beveling it is knowing, since its first appearance in 2008 bitcoin price has been going up and it will probably hit the 1000$ marks by the end of this year so if  you want to make easy money buy now and claim later.
In order to work with the money you need at least to believe what you wish. Assuming that all the positive forecasts will start running as early as this year, for 2017, we may see a new status cryptocurrency worldwide.

Just like what happened I am becoming more positive but what is happening now the price of bitcoin is some of kinda falling. But still I am believing in bitcoin, I hope that it can rise again and the price will get back to $743+. And if that happens for sure many of us here will going to get what they want and be happy for the bitcoins that they are holding.
Bitcoin definitely will return its position and will increase its value while increasing the number of bitcoin mining. After all, we know that the quantity is limited and therefore the price of bitcoin will soon go up anyway.
Higher price of bitcoin will depend on the user adoption, if more people start investing their money into it then no one can stop bitcoin in reaching to new heights and now bitcoin is gaining more attention from the people so we can expect 4 digit price in next year.

Maybe there are a lot of people who are now using and starting to adopt bitcoins as the price is keep on increasing. But as of now, it is kinda stable and that is a good thing for all of us. And if we are going to keep on believing for sure the price of bitcoin is going to increase and the profit we can get might have a chance to increase too.
It's stable now but we do not know if it will surprise us again, the price increase was unexpected and it was like skyrocketing and who knows in the next few weeks there will be another increase of price again. As long as we believe in bitcoin we will make money here.
10328  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 05, 2016, 03:45:55 AM
Yes the price matters of the bitcoin and I think that its pretty important to have the price so we can see what is happening with it due to the fact that people are buying and selling on it.
If we do not have a price there will be less more buyers..

A value of something is really important and that is what and why we are working for. So basically if bitcoin has no value do you think that you would waste your time spending a lot of effort to earn some good bitcoins? Of course not, but because of bitcoins good price we are able to work harder for it because we know that it is valuable.
The price is obviously very important to us here, we are more inspired when we see a good price and whatever we do we are all happy when the price of bitcoin is increasing because we feel that we are living in a progressive world which is the crypto world.
10329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: November 05, 2016, 03:40:34 AM
Normally gambling is only for adult but the problem of bitcoin is anonymous so they can't stop kids from gambling.
but i don't know why playing dice for example is like a kid game :p there is some games is not for kid like casino and others.
maybe it could damage the kids mind when he will interact with adult in gambling games.
I think they can play dice with a board of snake and ladder game, but with a dice game that is also money involve for kids, that is already that good for kids, so for those parents who is out there that didn't want to make their children addicted into it, supervise them so that they will not get hooked with it.
Without money involve, they are just playing not gambling. Kids will have more fun if they play a lot of games and it will help them develop their childhood as a children. As parents we need to support them on that as it is our responsibility to raise them for good but never make them learn how to play or gamble for money, there's a right time for everything.
You can't avoid having kids playing with money involve, Because even the parents give them money to spend, their young minds tend to think at first they will buy food or toys and when it is not enough they will try to bet their money in playing games just to have more, Of course it is inevitable for them not to try it because there are so many influences you see in the real life and by watching Television.
We can avoid that as a responsible parents, we should keep an eye on the activities of our kids and that how responsible parents do. We do not want to regret later that without knowing our kids has already develop into complete gambler and we know what they will do under the situation.
10330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: November 05, 2016, 03:27:27 AM
gambling addiction is a state where you are very hard to stay away from gambling, and you're always keen to continue playing, even if you have run out of money you have, you will find a loan to someone else for it. apart from that you also think that someday you will win the amount of bitcoin are many, and it will trigger you to always play. well, that is the definition that I created and improvised his own  Grin
Yeah, and with gambling addiction you will lose more than you win and might bring you to bankruptcy. I know a lot of gamblers have experience being addicted in gambling and they do not understand anymore what they are doing as they are dictated by their addiction.
10331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 05, 2016, 03:24:39 AM
Banks will not disappear I believe, but here in Scandinavia (and probably other places too), banks have been inspired by the way a bitcoin transaction is processed and have launched instapay services and apps that makes bank transfers obsolete. It also omits bank fees on smaller transactions.

A step in the right direction at least! Grin
No way it will happen, banks will always be here as it's supported by the government, they created it for the people to comply with the rules of a certain state and fiat is the only legal tender that is allowed by the government when we transact, our financial standing are measure by our liquidity or the amount of money we are holding.
10332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: November 05, 2016, 03:22:53 AM
To quit Gambling for good i think the best steps to do are:

1)Take a short break
2)Find a replacement activity.
3)Remember how bad it feels to lose.
4)Educate yourself about gambling addiction
5)Hand Over control of your money
6)Get a good counselor

If you really want to quit gambling this steps will help you but it is all up to you if you will follow these steps.

The one that I highlighted is the most important thing to consider, actually gambling is fun so you do not need to quit when you know how to educate your self about addiction and when you are successful, it would be easy for you to do control yourself and you will be having fun.
10333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: November 05, 2016, 03:10:38 AM
Yah, girls also do gambling. I knew some girls who do gambling for be entertained. And they do it for only fun. Actually, I advised them to try it for time pass. And also told them to bet small because you can't earn through it.
Many girls play also gambling, but for me, girls are more on control than boys who are easy to hook in this kind of game, unlike girls a lot of girls that's not used their ego with this kind of game.
Girls are not good in gambling if playing for money as they are more easily tempted to gamble more as girls usually uses their emotions than their brain. Men are more clever, hence they have more control but apparently there are more males gamblers so we see more on men as addicted than girls.
10334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: November 05, 2016, 03:06:51 AM
Some people shouldn't gamble at all, simple truth not many gamblers will acknowledge.
If you have addictive personality or have trouble with managing your stress and anger in general, or specifically during your gambling session - it is better to not gamble at all.
Most likely you will lose if you do not have the right discipline needed in gambling, you might end up losing a big amount of money because you will lose control when you are gambling. Better focus in other games as for sure there are more entertaining games aside from gambling.
10335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 05, 2016, 03:02:12 AM
I thought to gamble even though we we have thought and discipline will be lost. admin did not remain silent!. sooner or later it will be known trick used
There's no method that will last forever, simply the gambling sites will adjust because they are in the business to make money not to give money. For sure they do not establish a charitable institution so they are seeking for more profit as they know more gamblers would love to spend their money.
10336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 05, 2016, 02:58:52 AM
Gambling is not a sickness but a decease that ruins someone lives...
Too much gambling makes a person do bad habits by not being able to do what he have to do as a normal person...
So if you have gambling addiction you better need some help...

Its not either  a sickness or disease  because gambling is just a game  and  the one who would be responsible is the player or  gambler itself. He  knows already on the risk would happen when they tend  to gambling is  the first place.  Gambling sickness is considered as   gambling addiction  which could  really make things wrecked up.
Yeah it depends on the one playing if he's going to let gambling turn ibto addiction. Gambling addiction is the one that's making people broke not gambling
I've got your point and I am agree with it. Gambling for me is a game and that is not going to be a sickness, the person that is addicted in gambling that is the one that will be considered as sickness.
Gambling is purely design for gamblers to have fun but you cannot control the others who do gamble for the sake of making money, they have a high hopes that they can win in gambling although the odds does not favor them. Really hard to think that all of us will win because it's impossible.
10337  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2016, 01:45:53 PM
I would say it's best to teach them the same way you teach them about money. Except for the bits about security. Cheesy
Kids are able to pick things up quickly anyway, so it shouldn't be too hard.
I do not think that you should really teach your kids about Bitcoin unless you really see that they are interested and ask you about it all the time.
But if they do not care then let them focus on sports and school because those two are more important.
I guess that is fine if you are going to teach about bitcoins so that their knowledge are going to become more on the technology.

But don't ever teach them on how to earn bitcoins, because when they try to learn how to earn bitcoins while they are still kids, possibly that their earnings are going to be used in gambling.

And even worst if they are really curious and they are able to search about deep web, maybe they are going to be involved.
You are right with your intention but it should be in the proper time. Kids will not comprehend what is bitcoin and since bitcoin are also use for illegal activities, that is not good for kids to learn.. We should wait the right time to tell them and when they are not minors anymore that is the right time.
10338  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2016, 01:43:14 PM
i think halving has both good and bad effects, good in the sense that it maintain the price not let it drop too much and band in the sense that it divide the reward miners, but over all halving is good for the price of bitcoin and not bad one.
For me upon seeing the effect of halving, there is no effect at all and I am going to be neutral with it. But still I know that this is going be a good to the ecosystem.

But for the miners halving is going to be a bad for the reward per blocks are going to become more difficult for them.
It will only be bad if the price will not increase, but what I see after the halving this year we have a very good price and even before nearing the halving. The price should right for them to continue to operate profitably and so the traders will not be the only group that will be happy.
10339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: November 04, 2016, 01:21:44 PM
I do not gambled that much because im loosing money and thats the reason why im always cumming back on the gambling sites sell if im lose i will still gambled and trying to get back my lose profit but if im win i always run the profit and withdrew it all and wait until my feeling is better to gambling again.
Well that is the reason why many people are keep on coming back because they can't even control their emotions and addiction.

Because when a gambler loses big amount of money as they gamble what is going to happen is they want to recover their losses.

And that is making them coming back again and again.
If addiction is the only reason why we come back then probably we will be all broke now. I guess, it is not the only reason and the main reason why we still come back in gambling is because gambling is fun and we are getting the right entertainment we are looking.
10340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: November 04, 2016, 01:18:29 PM
As my investigation right now or based on my experience this past few weeks i considered that all activities like uhm trading , gambling , and investing are needs to take risk, Because of your are not going to take those risk you can't able to grow your bitcoins , You need to take those high risk sometimes if you really want to grow your bitcoin i considered that trading as gambling too where we could lose money there but it can be minimize because we can sell it for the half price.
well if you are not hurrying up you can still wait for the price rebound unlike in gambling after losing your money you need to place bet again, while in trading if you are supporting good quality project there's always possibility to regain your loses.

Yes, trading is more like that if we have good patience and can hold for long time than nothing can be good than this, because it all depend on this in which project we are involved and what is the potential behind this, I am pretty sure trading will be very profitable if we keep things in mind.
Me too I do believe that trading is considered as gambling and every type of investment there is going to be needed to take a risk.

But it is going to be reliable if you are going to try trading and going to make it as source of profit rather than if you are going to make gambling as source.

You just need to be patience as you trade.
As an investor, we need to understand that we need to take the risk to be able to make money. It is either we loss or take profits depends on our ability to manage our investment, but being ready to accept the possible outcome is very important for every investors.
