1041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is doing Pump & Dump before the US Election results are finalized on: November 10, 2020, 12:40:59 PM
---'--

That would make a nice Christmas present. Let's hope your guide is right. Looking where Bitcoin is priced now, I regret not being more reckless when it was priced at $5,800 mere months ago.

decline in the price as an xmas present ? thats something that i dont want to happen  . my buying ability is not working anymore . i hope the guide of the op wasnt accurate because itl be a bad xmas present for me if that happens . you have bought some and you can still sold them for profit when btc reach another thousand dollar again .

i never see btc dump that much during the election period but it only rise and now that elections are over its price fluctions are also over . this is not bad for me . i hope it can sustain this stability till the year end or better if it can add some
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which ia the best coin for holding 2021? on: November 10, 2020, 11:57:36 AM
Bitcoin for sure and for me if bitcoin reach $25k by 2021 ill  will sell it and put it on other altcoins like.
Ethereum
Binance coin
Chainlik
your sure on bitcoin because bitcoin is not just good for the next year but bitcoin is the essential coin in any time  but really , bitcoin will perform better next year compare to this year and on some of the past years because of paypal which are also going to start next year . eth and bnb are coins that can be considered next to btc in terms of performance . there are working updates for eth which is eth 2.0 but for binance  coin i never heard of it yet but this coin is heavily influenced by the binance exchange .  chainlink is the only coin here that im not really sure of
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 10:59:33 AM
Regulated or not. Don't trust to anyone your personal information and that's all. If you are planning to win a big amount on casinos then expect that you will need to sacrifice your personal information.

Well you are right, if you are playing with big amounts and you win big you will be asked for KYC! I don't like it, but when I am asked for KYC I simply do it, I trust the site where I spend time and money, why to not trust them with personal information too!?
never win a big amount yet but if what you guys saying is true then ill have to limit my bets now because i dont feel the need of doing a kyc  . i try done kyc before but i cant pass them , i have a problem to some of my infos . if i have won big before my winning will only be forfeited because of this problem . if you dont like kyc why force yourself to do it ? its already enough that you spend your time and money on them , arent they still contented and wants more on you and what they ask is not simple but they are asking about your real identity
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: What is causing last few days' run-up? on: November 10, 2020, 06:53:50 AM
it was only november but the revelation of paypal are just last month  . you call that long enough ? long supposed to be a year or over than than but payal is different . when we say paypal joins crypto , that wasnt just a hype that can die for some time but the effect is stapled .

as long as crypto is alive and kicking  and as long as paypal is still there or vice versa , the good greens are still going to be feel . another one is the recent bull run for btc was blamed on the election , many people agree to that but im still skeptical if that was another source for the growth or not .
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Alts Market already bottomed out? on: November 10, 2020, 06:04:47 AM
It is difficult to call bottom for alt market. Defi led the baby bull in the alt market and majority had lost a huge size of their price in the past few weeks. However, ethereum still retain a good close distance from the year price height, which is a good stats for a coin that leads the altseason.
altcoins are more lighter than btc and the alts bottom can also be lighter . almost 90 percent of alts are dumping and i think we can consider that as thier bottom  . i dont see defi impacted the altcoins but defi can have an impact only to defi coins . alts are dumping but im not sure if that dump is caused by defi  .

eth on the other hand is the only one that excel and if this is the only key to trigger alts and tokens season then its not bad to sacrifice a little value of other coins . maybe the anticipated eth/alt season will happen once eth absorb more value from the other coins and when the moment it reaches over 500 usd
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 10, 2020, 05:13:18 AM
why generalize all . when they say crypto is a scam , its like saying all or most of them are scam . instead they can say that this name of this coin is a scam  . when ico came out , those that who complain scams forget crypto and move thier attention to ico then after ico it was ieo and so on . ieo was the most succesful of all and there has been lesser to no scams reported on ieo . ico and defi are pretty close because there are a bunch of them that are scams . theres that investor that if they loose they will call the coin a scam but they arent spreading fuds and i dont think they can get any benefit of doing  that.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has it occurred? Or still in progress on: November 10, 2020, 04:16:28 AM
nice trivia i didnt know that bitcoin celebrated its anniversary recently. i know the year where btc start but not its month . its work is done because we already have a btc and we are already been using it for a long time now and the founder already dissapear because if not , all of that wont be possible . whats working in progress is the acceptance . many people already know btc and can be called as btc users but there are still few out there that are not yet unto this movement . the improvement are acceptance , i wouldnt enumerate all because acceptance already covers them . sato or just any creator do have a dream that thier creation will be known to the world .
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 10, 2020, 03:37:45 AM
The casino can force its old employee without giving any payment to recruit new employees with a small salary. It is normal to see that it happens, and perhaps, that is not just happening in Macau, but in the other place, that happens too.

If you are referring to this as normal even if there is no pandemic, I don't agree with you. I am not familiar with the labor laws of Macau but it is probably not allowed to just fire old employees without giving any payment for the sake of new employees with a lower salary.

Casinos can force them to quit working for the casino but only under valid grounds. They cannot just tell an employee that he is done with his job and that he will not be paid anymore.

It's hard to comment on this since Macau might have a different labor law than other countries. But looking at it, it seems unfair to the old employees to be forced to quit and be replaced for a new one with lower pay. We understand that businesses are striving to survive, but employees should be compensated well amidst pandemic, if your business cannot afford to give what is right for the employees the business might close as well.

Anyway, workers can file a complaint at their labor department if they think the casino had violated and labor code. Same as businesses each of us are striving to make a living.

if they think thier business is having a hard time why will they still continue but why not if they take a rest for a period of time  , pay all the employees including the newer ones but they must pay a little large for the older ones to make it fair . whenever they open up again its up to them if they replaced new employees or not but older employees must be kept because they are already more trusted and are already part of the company for a long time . if they decide to keep the business running , they can released the newer employees and kept the old employees but with a cut in payment if the company is really suffering . employees will understand it
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 09, 2020, 12:58:13 PM
I think that would be really good since the casinos were going to function again which will the government will benefit in order to increase the economy.

Is there any news how are they going to implement it? I'm pretty sure there will be a KYC to it .
your happy that governments are going to take part of it again but arent you concerned more on the gamblers . gamblers are the first that are going to be happy with it because finally they can continue playing online but governments are also going to feel the same . its not about the greed and for personal gain but like you said this will help the economy to stand up again .

the poster arent sure if how the rest of it are going to work but since it was a formal casino they could have implement a kyc with it
1050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 09, 2020, 12:09:58 PM
Don't worry, there will be another altcoin session, which usually happens when Bitcoin stabilizes.
is bitcoin not stabilize yet . price was still the same when i look at it and btc is not going to stabilize literally where its values wont move forever . the effects are only shown on eth but not to the rest of the altcoins .

At the moment there will still be a wave of bitcoins and that will certainly affect altcoins.  the possibility that altcoin and bitcoin will go up together where when bitcoin goes up altcoins will go up after bitcoin reaches ath. when BTC correction, we can take entries in  Altcoin. Lets wait for that moment.
we dont need to wait for btc to go in correction state because at the moment altcoins are already in their buying state due to thier deflated values but people are really buying altcoins ? it could be that they only buy eth because eth value are the only one that have noticeable gain
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 09, 2020, 10:34:33 AM
Printing of money will affect the current economic status of a certain country. It will cause inflation if the country has a lot monetary supply, I believe that if they will continue the production of money, the value of it will be lessen, the supply will be change but the value of each will decrease. So printing more money? Is not an answer, maybe using each country's fund is the answer not printing more of it, or they can ask for help from the United Nations.
are they afraid to use the reserve funds or the funds are already used up thats why they want to print more money . asking for help to the other country can be a temporary solution to prevent printing of money and save the economy from inflation.

there are some countries that are more richier than the other , it wouldnt hurt if they will help those countries that are in need  . they can treat it as a loan if they want to and the other country will promise to pay them once the problem on financial are all solved .
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Cardano so ignored on Bitcointalk? 2020 will be the year for Cardano! on: November 09, 2020, 09:49:12 AM
it wasnt ignored . cardano was being talk alot on this forum before but like most of the alts , cardano have became quite for a while but we can still see it being recomended along with other alts whenever there is a thread that is asking if which coin are good to invest .

2020 is going to end and i still didnt see alot of cardano threads but the most created threads so far are from btc and defi's . this may be not the year for cardano but it can be next year or few more years .
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: November 09, 2020, 09:08:31 AM
Since this news came in September, Litecoin still can't pump high,

yeah where is that pump the op trying to push. i didnt feel that litecoin pump . he didnt provide links to check if what are the working dates for that upgrade and he still confidently say that it will pump for a few days , thats too fast but its already been two months have past .

alts dump season could also be the reason why ltc growth were stunted . i like the update if its legit , monero can now be threated for this because ltc is already more mainstream than it  .
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: November 09, 2020, 08:14:39 AM
Well, there is this fine line between "you can't win in a casino" and "it is impossible to win in a casino" there is a biiiig difference believe me.
both are simillar to me but the second line is more stronger than the first . these lines are just a common expression by people that can hardly win in a casino but the truth is that we can really win on a casino depending ln the game we play , capital and the skills we have .

You could start with 1 dollars and win as much as 1 billion dollars but if you do not stop eventually you will lose, that is the mathematically reality, you have to stop when you are ahead if you want to make a profit in gambling world. However it is not "impossible" because I can go to a casino, put all my money on 1% chance to win, make 100x return get rich and get out without ever playing, this is something possible, not common but definitely possible.
1 dollar to 1 billion dollar is the one that is impossible . there are lotto but the price of tickets for billion dollar prize are over 1 usd . for the normal gambling its hard to turn your 1 dollar to 1 billion dollar . you already explained why , something to do with the house edge . 100x payout is more achievable but if you need to have more than 1 usd if your betting 1 usd on 100x per spin
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ledger owners lose 1.1 million XRP!! on: November 09, 2020, 07:20:32 AM
i noticed that leakage of infos are now often happening this year not just to ledger owners and company because i also experience it and it was my first time i think to experience that my pass words and emails are being compromised on other sites and google browser also knows it because they reminded me . i know that leakage of infos are not new anymore but they got more stronger and they are attacking crypto users this time . if only users can be warned about the leak as early as possible , they can still be able to change thier details and avoided the hack .
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 09, 2020, 06:35:43 AM
cant really understand  . who is that hungarian president your talking to ? a president from other country ? and he bets on trump ?

Now Hungary is not a Fan of Biden for sure
why not ? if the president of this country is the one that loose , why will others feel the same ? but i know that there could be others from this country that also bets with biden and loose but some wont take it personally but they only gamble . they could be angry because they lost but they wont be angry for whoever wins on the election .

and whats wrong if that president congralute biden ? he is a president so he must show a respect to the other president but we dont know maybe deep inside he feel an anger but he tries to hide it .
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i Invest more??? on: November 09, 2020, 05:00:39 AM
nice collection , i like how you choose a coin and congrats that you already earned some profits and that is 20 eth but you invested 50 eth which is more than that thats why i think its small . you said you invest on many coins so that means the 20 eth profit you earned is spread out to those different coins , thats less impressive but it would be more impressive if you only have few coins and thier value pumped too much and that also easy to monitor and sell out . on your topic again you said you only need 2 to among the four that you list , my choice is filescoin and insolar .
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 09, 2020, 04:15:46 AM
that is if you can still withdrew . with this kind of gambling sites that are scam they do have a manual withdrawal and they hold your withdrawals first before you can do it . they wont allow small transfers because they are scam but let say they arent and your goal is to only exploit them and earn small profit why not gamble on those trusted casinos instead ? that way you cant get scammed but your still going to deal with the traditional risk . playing small amounts on ponzi sites can still be a good idea so that we can expose them if we found out that they wont pay .
1059  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy Bitcoin ? on: November 07, 2020, 06:32:17 PM
afraid to wait because you think the price will rise more but your also afraid to buy because you think the price is too high . you need to decide now because the time is running  .

the price can really rise now that we are now getting close to the last month of the year . btc are going to fall again but not the range that you expect because we are higher at this point  . it can decrease to a lower price maybe next year when the situation is going to get calmer .
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap has made it easier for scammers? on: November 07, 2020, 04:54:43 PM
people think that every new project, especially the Defi project that is already registered on the Uniswap platform or not registered or even the developer plans to register on the Uniswap platform, will bring good results. whereas in fact not all new and old coins that have been listed there are worthy of investment. I am very risky if someone invests based solely on high bids.
old coins listed on that exchange do have a chance because we already know thier flow but new coins are the one that is riskier because they may need to prove how they move before we invest on them . these people that think that all that are listed on uniswap are profitable is the same to those people that said that all coins listed on binance are profitable but binance has a more chance than uniswap because binance is centralized and strictier . if they invest based only on the high price , that depends on the coin and the situation.
