I know that the judges could be traditionalist Undecided Undecided
It would be great to update this thread again after 5 months or after you've defended your thesis. Watch out for the reaction of the judges/panelist and see how their faces look like.
And you'll get to see too how many of them were already into bitcoin. Good luck, you've got a lot of suggestions for your reference.
I’m also wondering on the possible reaction of your thesis adviser here and the panelist, so its good to update this thread once you finished your study. Though, this market is huge to be discussed just choose the important details, collect all the needed data and if you have experience on this market you can also include that on your study, just don’t forget your reason on why you are choosing this topic.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 22, 2021, 01:20:13 PM
You’re putting too much emotion with your trades, and this is also why many are losing money in trading and most of them stopped on trading. I’m not into day trading because of my work so I prefer a medium to long term trading which I can easily analyze the market on a larger time frame.

If you’re still not ready for day trading then don’t do it, just imagine how much you can make in medium to long term trade compare to day trading, again this is all depends on your strategy.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Investing on: March 22, 2021, 06:17:22 AM
I’d like to get some opinions on Altcoin investing strategy. Here’s where I’m upto.

1.   Only invest 1% of portfolio
2.   Take out initial stake after 3x gain
3.   What about taking further profits, selling out completely? I’ve read that altcoins will lose 60-90% of their value when altcoin bubble bursts.

Invest the money you can afford to lose and honestly, 1% of your total portfolio to be invested on altcoins is not enough to make good profit so I suggest to increase it at least 10% - 25% of your total portfolio since holding much of Bitcoin is also risky, your portfolio must be well diversified.

Its ok to take initial profit, this is your strategy and you have to commit on that one. If you're not contented yet then you can play long or sell everything so you can use it to buy another altcoins. Don't think about the bubbles, this is not true and only create FUD in the market.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Digibyte extremely undervalued? on: March 20, 2021, 10:13:44 PM
Of course I heard about DGB, i even traded this coin in 2017. Time shows that the technologies and capabilities that DGB has aren't very much in demand.
At the moment people are more interested other projects.
DGB fails to develop that much and fails to do a good marketing strategies that’s why many didn’t know about DGB and there’s no much demand in the market today because of new good projects that takes over the old tokens. Its all time high was three years ago, and didn’t pump that much in the past months where bulls are happing in the market. Though it ranks #82 based on total marketcap, i still don’t think any demand for this project.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase fined USD 6.5 million for inflating trading and liquidity on: March 20, 2021, 01:48:47 PM
Coinbase is a reputable exchange site, but this one is a proof that exchanges are doing something behind the screen to manipulate the trading volumes and that fine is not enough hopefully if proven already, coinbase will have an initiative to disclosed this one.

What about decentralized exchange, is it worst than CEX?
Depends on DEX you’re using and seriously, its hard to trust DEX because they are totally manipulating the volumes.

1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is Regret Avoidance on: March 19, 2021, 11:36:11 PM
This is a theory is proven and teste to many investors, they keep buying even if they've loss already much money just for a hope that they can recover their losses and regret nothing, which is really not a good idea especially on investing without the knowledge.

Regrets is normal, but being greedy is not good most of the time, if you don't want to regret then equip yourself with the right information and trade accordingly without putting too much pressure on yourself.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs....Let's Talk About It on: March 19, 2021, 02:05:04 PM
Those who follow this thread before, for sure they make a lot of money on NFT especially on a good project like Axie.

NFT is a big thing today, and serious artist are getting paid real money here. I've tried understand NFT and seriously, I'm still confused about this new trend. I've even tried to post some art and sell it as NFT, but I guess its hard to sell arts if you're not popular.  Cheesy
1050  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: They will do anything for your money, run from them on: March 19, 2021, 01:45:10 PM
Every time someone chatted me on Telegram and I didn't know that guy, I automatically block those users.
Why would someone offer such amount of profit in return? and if you're not interested at all you better to deny them at the first place.

Scammers have their own way to get your money, if you entertain them for sure you can be a good prospect for them so better not to reply at all.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DOES ANYONE HERE STILL PLAYS IN NITROGEN SPORTS? on: March 18, 2021, 11:37:09 PM
Does anyone here still plays in Nitrogen Sports? Did you ever tried depositing in their site?

I have a balance in there, but they require me to deposit 0.005BTC first before I can withdraw the balance (which I won from their NitroSpread contest promotion).
They require a minimum deposit for you to be able to withdraw some funds and some gambling site also requires a minimum wager. This is the scenario if you’re dealing with the real Nitrogen sports site.

If you just won money from their competition then better to ask for their consideration or if you won big then .005btc is reasonable to get that reward. But before you deposit, make sure that the site is not a scam site, to avoid losing that money.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are not stable on: March 18, 2021, 10:24:30 PM
Well, BTC/USD is not stable at all do we cannot consider that as stable pair. There’s a limited coins who are the real stable, just like the USDT if you see its value in the market, it stays for only $1 and that can be considered as the stable one. Let’s just not mislead people from saying stable coin, because not all are real.
1053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why publicise your wallet address on: March 17, 2021, 05:30:39 AM
So, what really is the reason behind wallet address publicity, is there a transparency to be proved or something else?
To easily copy and paste my address every time I apply for a campaign or if someone asked me about my address.

Maybe we can consider to update the system just like the option on email where we can hide it to the public.
I don't know if this is possible, but it can be consider for sure.

1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Richprize.com 🚀 - VIP | Play with BTC | Free Spins | Cashback & Final Bonus on: March 10, 2021, 03:12:57 AM
Personally will stay away unless OP proves that the accusations below are false:
Looks like they can't rug pull on someone here and thanks for this link. I think we should just stay aways from this new casino that being introduced here it's like they popped up from nowhere, for just 3 months of the year there has been numerous of this kind of gambling site.

Yes but the problem is that most of the casinos don't operate for too long, I hope richprize exists for years to follow. They have 885 games which feels unreal for a new casino so good to see and I will be testing the casino later in the day maybe.
More like some clone sites. Just feel free to read the link given by spyrosc200, maybe it's best for all to just stay aways until it was cleared and that the OP explained here.

they need to address first those allegations. else, if they will just ignore it and let it pass, i dont think they will get loyal supporters here. they need to start clean and as much as possible face the problem and clarify the matter.
otherwise, the situation will always be there and somebody will always bring it up. and that will affect their players' trust. if they cant address the issue, that means, they are guilty of such allegation.
I'll leave it here and won't try to open their site because a new crypto gambling site with a pending accusation like this, its not worth it to try for me and its too risky.

If OP is part of the team then he must answer this allegation but it looks like he's just sharing his referral link on this site, and not answering queries at all. We have to be more cautious on welcoming new crypto gambling site, if its not a licensed crypto gambling then its hard to deal with it.
1055  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LOOKING FOR OTHER VICTIMS OF THE FAKE ELECTRUM DOWNLOAD SCAM on: March 10, 2021, 02:28:04 AM
You're using a legit Electrum app wallet then suddenly the update was pop-up? How come its a scam when its under the platform of Electrum?
This is very alarming and first time to hear this one, though I'm not that active on Electrum wallet but this can be a big help to me. Even if there's a low chance to get that money back, I hope they'll still do their best to help you mate.
1056  Economy / Reputation / Re: My account, a year old today on: March 09, 2021, 05:41:06 AM
Congratulations and thank you for the motivation and inspiration!  Cheesy

Cheers for a more blessed years to you mate!
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lottery On Pancakeswap on: March 09, 2021, 05:34:07 AM

1058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There is more that meet the eye on: March 05, 2021, 07:57:18 AM
This is why being simple matters to me, and I'd prefer more the App store compare to the playstore which is hosted by the androids.
That's too scary especially if you're dealing with a multiple keyboards and you access you accounts online, many will get hack without knowing why.
1059  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 03, 2021, 01:14:33 AM
It's happening in sports, that's why we hear the words "rigged" , because sports can be rigged so majority of the bettors will lose. As a gambler, I think we should be aware of that so we would know where to bet, some sports are not too obvious but it's happening inside.
Everyone has a price, it doesn't always have to be money, it might be a new gym or anything of that nature which many of our sports men and women signup for as they look at the situation as not losing anything.

And most sports games that are likely to fall prey to this corruption are those from lower leagues as their games don't get much TV coverage as compared to the premiere ones.
As long as there's a money involve, we can't expect the fair game here.
Sports become a haven of money for many investors especially if they fully support a specific team. Most of the club owners are making a lot of money even if they lose the match, corruptions are always be here but I wonder how they are suffering right now especially that live viewers are still limited.
