So you're taking a coin with no intrinsic value and exchanging it for other coins with no intrinsic value with the purpose of destroying intrinsic value where none exists?

Basically what you're trying to do is get people to "donate" coins that can be exchanged to BTC to you for your junkcoin.  An interesting spin on an IPO/Premine scam.  No exchange needed!

The price goes up and you seriously expect people not to dump?  People buying in the 3000's are locking in profits.  People holding KDC long getting antsy and finally cashing out.  Etc.  I'm fairly certain this was predicted.  As the price goes up, so does the downward pressure.  The only way you can fight it is to keep buying it.

Somehow I'm guessing all of those coins were mined on a pool that was never updated to the proper fork during the super low difficulty cock-up period, and you're now trying to "cash out", but the network is refusing to cooperate.  Am I close?

In fact, your transactions don't even exist on the correct fork, and the block explorer you're using isn't even correct.  Block generation rewards aren't 77 coins at that point.  Sorry man, your pool never updated and your coins are gone (and likely invalid anyway).

Anyone could hypothetically "create" an exchange as long as the wallet/daemon is publicly available.  Once they have the wallet/daemon, there is essentially no way to stop them from doing whatever they want with it.

As a very simplistic example, I can't force YOU to stop using KDC in any way.  I can ask, but you can just tell me to screw off and I can't do anything about it.

You didn't seriously just suggest that.  

What would you plan to do?  Ask REALLY nicely that they remove the coin from their listings and expect that they just... will?  

And those things would happen regardless of the fork, and wouldn't have alienated miners or gutted the network.  There's never any "inflation" issues with closed system coins like this.  All there are are "valuation" issues.

People didn't leave because of fork launch issues, people left because the profitability tanked after the "fork issues" were fixed and the super low difficulty disappeared.  Net hash rate actually went up by 50% prior to the fork to get in before the block reduction took effect, so consider your 650MH/s net hashrate an anomaly, and your current 132MH/s the "new normal".  Try to tell me with a straight face that there's nothing wrong with KDC now that you've successfully excised nearly two-thirds of the normal daily network hash rate off the coin with this change.

We sit in a waiting game for the coin value to catch up to the new block reward.  It will either need some major external influence, or the difficulty will need to be around ~0.5 to compensate for it at this hash rate.  The latter would only be a very temporary fix, and it would be counterproductive to the block reward changes in the first place.

I've contributed input since well before even you came along my friend.  Since well before this fork happened, and will continue to do so.  If you don't like it, I'm sure you can find an ignore button somewhere.

All I've seen so far is a decimation of the original vision of KDC for the sake of short term profits (which haven't happened yet by the way - and all of a sudden everyone is preaching patience ironically).  I've seen the total network hashrate get slashed by about two-thirds from what it was on a normal daily basis prior to the fork announcement.  And I've seen a coin that was once actually consistently valuable on the marketplace for both miners AND speculators turn into a middle of the pack also-ran that has no more useful value than even Litecoin.  And every time we turn around we have yet another questionable decision being made for exactly what purpose?  

I'm sorry - why exactly do we need an official pool with 0% fees (and thank god the block reward is being reconsidered...) several months AFTER the coin has already been launched with many already active pools?  I thought you said something about strengthening the network.  You know - nevermind.  It doesn't really matter.

I've wanted to see KDC succeed from day 1.  I've put forward my input on it after watching many coins fail miserably.  I see some good going on with KDC (some of the services are a good start), but I see a lot of bad (alienating miners and gutting the network).  I sincerely hope it works out for the better, but I really don't see KDC sustaining a large network at reasonably profitable levels for mining especially with these changes.

I'm not going to apologize for my opinion on the matter, and I am not going to be silent on the matter.  The devs apparently invited the community to be involved with KDC, but you all only want to hear one side of it.  Sorry... but get over it - that's not how it works.

I do sincerely and always have wished KDC the best of luck in the market.  It's my favorite coin.  I've held every single one I've mined since day 1.  Though these days I'm starting to question exactly why.

I have no problem with the coin.  I have some serious questions about the rather misguided direction and decisions that its apparent "leaders" are taking now.  It's almost like one hand is trying to apply a bandage to a wound while the other is trying to stab itself in the eye.  But hey, who cares about that... OOOH SHINY!

Ahh crap.  I think I sent coins to an exchange wallet address belonging to Coinmarket (mislabeled by myself unfortunately) last night.  And looking at the current support issues, well, this isn't looking promising.

Hate to break it to you, in case you haven't noticed price drives the popularity of an altcoin.  Every single coin is benchmarked against BTC, because BTC matters.  I enjoyed the launch of KDC because it was a no-hype launch and the devs had clear goals and vision and seemed set on that.  Unfortunately THE COMMUNITY seemed to persuade the devs to abandon one of the original goals of that in pursuit of profits.  As far as the latter comments, I only care about price insofar as to point out the obvious but it seems as though to completely misunderstood what was said, especially since you took select excerpts rather than the statement in whole.  As far as the former comments, it's a shame I was wrong.

The only problem is you didn't reduce the EXISTING supply.  That's what I've been trying to tell you since well before this fork happened.

There's a TON of cheap KDC available, and that sets the benchmark for the price.  Until you get someone willing to buy it up and hold it to FORCE the price higher, even the new supply is going to get sold at the lower price unless those miners are willing to take the risk and hold it themselves.  Even if someone does pull those coins out, they're going to recoup their investment by dumping them at a profit later - and then the cycle will beget itself which in turn will drive the price down once again.

The whole scheme is predicated on getting the existing supply out of the economy as quickly as possible, and frankly if that were possible it wouldn't have required a block reward change to alter the value of a coin!
