1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [IOTA] IOTA Speculation on: March 17, 2016, 08:47:17 AM

You coin holders out there hang onto your iotas, unless they are going to pay the market rate.

Just the fact that they are able to buy in a large chunk, which would be a hassle to do on an exchange is bending over for these guys enough. The fact that these individuals are kept a secret  before the deal is already made also speaks volumes.

If they believe in Iota are really going to help it they can pay what anyone else would pay. The fact that they demand a discount is worrisome. We can do without them. They want in they can pay like everyone else. Especially jl777 (still a great guy btw)

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You are the first IOTA holder I have met with such a non-productive line of thinking.

Of course I don't know all the details, they are not public knowledge yet. But by the time it is, it will be too late.

They will also gain much more than us, we will not gain more than them. Is it jl777?

No, this is much bigger than Jl777. While Jl777 and his project is big in terms of the niche altcoin world, his projects are not known on a global scale by the outside world, these guys are. And just to make it even easier to understand: I have spoken with Jl777 (he's already a big holder of IOTA) about this deal and he's very open to it, of course needing more details, but he understand the value of it.

Interesting. So if they are THAT influential, perhaps we should lay out the red carpet. Global scale, huh?

I see.

How much lower are they asking for.

How would this boost the ecosystem?
Yes, I'd like to get further clarification on this too. How do you feel it would boost the ecosystem by a LOT?
I really don't feel like selling. I feel like it's like giving away a portion of a winning lottery ticket. But I am open to ideas. If Iota holders sell millions of units to these potential large buyers and give them preferential treatment (below market rate) what type of preferential treatment could the Iota ecosystem get in return? [hypothetically of course]

They are very well known and influential. If they own some decent amount of coins, they will promote iota more effectively than anyone else and bring projects to iota. Their involvement alone can be a huge marketing asset for iota. Additionally, they can bring projects to iota. It is not hypothetical. They have done it with other coins in the history.

If you have coins and be able to make commitment, you should contact David for more questions.

The way I see it, if they are very well known and influential in the Bitcoin space it means they have been around the industry for a long time and most likely have much more money than me. In that case, being early cryptocurrency adopters, they can afford to buy Iota tokens on the open market like everybody else.

If Iota is as revolutionary and useful as it seems to be it will grow on its own merit without the need to pay for outside spokespeople. As the Iota ecosystem and brand naturally grows and these influential people who missed who ICO realize the direction it's heading (they seem to have done so already), they will buy in and create a position for themselves anyway. At that point they can start cheer-leading as much as they like. No need to give them preferential treatment.

That's not to say I don't believe in marketing. It's important. The more mainstream articles mention Iota especially, the better it is for the project. But I personally prefer Ludom's approach of creating a crowd-sourced Iota Fund for marketing purposes. If no further clarification is provided regarding these big influential buyers I will simply donate to that fund.

Dont get me wrong iotatoken, iam honestly suprised and try to understand this moves, because it is realy unusal to see such actions. We all think that iota "could" or will be a big thing, but bigiotabig seems to have a lot of play money, for a project which is in a prestage, which makes me think. Have never seen such a crazy aggresiv buyer ever, in a prestage, and this looks realy untypical.

Wish us all a good journey, i trust the whole team and CFB has ever shown that he is a exceptional talent!

Sure, feel free to voice your concerns and skepticism, but I am telling you that I have not given any info to anyone that would prompt them to buy like this. At all. The info is quite simple: there are some big potential guys who want to own a lot of iotas and help the ecosystem grow, but ONLY if we can pool together enough iotas for sale at below marketrate. Nothing more and nothing less. This is the same info every person who has contacted me has gotten.

Can you tell us how many iotas do we need to pool ?

Min 25 million, which is only 2.5% of iotas. It may sound like a lot due to the 'million' in there, but if you think about parting with 2.5% in exchange for a partnership that will boost the rest of the ecosystem with A LOT, it is really nothing. So far EVERY person I have talked with is positive, the biggest problem is reaching those who are idle/not reading the forum/ryver

I do not see a problem with it.

How would this boost the ecosystem?

They haven't missed even one hallmark of a scam
They have every one

Ask yourself if you have ever seen an honest ICO act this way?

This is my question. Does Polo have good DDoS protection?

Did he just do this with good protection? That would be nuts!

I think it is impressive how monero is holding up.

I know some people wish no one would believe BCX, but people in crypto get easily spooked

So overall, if it doesn't go down too much more, I think as a whole the community did as good as you could ask

BCX HAS killed numerous coins, and AM saying it is real is a rather scary thing, but most are holding so far, congrats

lol he wants 100btc in ipo lol. your idea isn't even that good.

We have run a file hosting business before. And we have earned over $1000 in cash in the first month. You can expect a lot more than that. Personally I will not try to lure you into a fancy ideas. 100BTC is not really a lot at all. And we're not even overpricing in our ico. Things don't happen overnight.

Ok dev

As you can see, I think you are on the right track

BUT NOT THERE YET.

The first term can't be just a working wallet and blockchain or whatever.

So make the escrow terms have TEETH early, and I think you will have something going.

It has to be a STRONG ESCROW Agreement.

Basically, if we get screwed, you get nothing.

You do that I think you will have people joining you in your effort.

What's the big problem with POD anyway? If it is important to your community and your investors, why not work with them?

I have stated escrow terms before. I am going to delete this regular stupid comments. And if anyone takes the comment deleting as a false flag. I don't care at all.

Well, I have stated things clearly.

I am still going to wait for the word from devthedev. He is a experienced escrow and he might have better ideas to safeguard the community funds. After all that's what you all want.

I am going to take the word from the investors and write down the escrow terms A to Z the way you like. As long as my identity is protected. I will continue with the escrow. I don't have anything to add anymore once I have given the full authority to investors to write and or update the escrow terms as long as they make sense.

This is a great move by your part dev.

People are worried when you want to hide your identity, but jl777 won't even let his voice get recorded, and seems to feel the same as you do about his identity being protected.

The problem is you don't have the trust already, so letting the community decide what escrow terms would protect them is a big step in letting your community know that you have their best interest in mind as well.

Now you just have to follow though with this train of thought.

I don't know if a dev has ever offered this before.

What does the community think would protect us?

If it was a scam I would of dumped the BCTS Holdings and my wallet still holds all the coins.

I did not realize that I couldn't unlock a thread after locking it so I have sent the admin a message to find out if he will allow me to reopen the thread.

you are an outed scammer. You coming on this thread and trying to keep your scam going , really? The people who didnt listen to the members of the commuunity that warned them, and trusted you instead, lost a lot of money. Those unfortunate people are not going to listen to you again lol.

I seen this a mile away, all i had to see is the heading of your post to know you were a con artist. a bad one at that. lmfao
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NeosCoin [NEOS] - with Arbitrush, Multi-Algo, In-wallet trading & More on: August 20, 2014, 08:19:34 PM
Horrible horrible decision by dev to start trading before release. I expected dev would be better than that. This is crypto, coins can be neglected by traders in as little as 1 week. By the time wallet releases, there will be other attractive options available and people will just dump this for those. So this turned into yet another pump and dump coin. What else is new around here?

are you sure that is a accurate statement how would the trading being released or not open affect a dump if something came new to the market. if something came knew to the market when trading would be closed wouldn't people just dump then. the fact is at the moment we have the new tech. unless something is better we will see then. no one can't even copy this as the code is not open source and it won't be. dev has said it could come earlier. i am not sure but if you go back a few pages dev said something about this weekend. youtube video shows its real.

I thought I saw something about potentiallly being released this weekend as well.
it was a community decision !! lol dev is just amazing! the features being released on the 14th are outstanding and your lucky if u have coins under 30k by then.. this coin with all its features is worth well over 60k with its current supply ... go watch this the youtube video and see for yourself how advanced and accomplished this already is!!

enjoy the ride ppl!! its gonna be one hell of a ride!!

A++ to turtle!!

+1 I totally agree

Absolutely, wishful thinking

You litecoin guys have fallen off the deep end, it will lose #2 by the end of the year, probably much much sooner. There are alot of great innovative coins out there and litecoin thinks it will survive doing nothing and going off of nothing but it's name. LOL

I'm kind of scared to get dumped on by big farm. What will you do to help ico investors?

Is there anyway that you can reduce the block reward?

if it happens, just buy cheap it will go back up. but hey it might be a good idea

What do the dev think about this, maybe it's a good idea?

Clstr reduced theirs from 30 to 3. I really think you guys should look into this. We're tired of getting dumped on by big farms...

This is definitely a valid concern/question in a typical situation but the circumstances here should shed some light on the security of the overall market value:

There's a maximum potential of 14,400 coins mined per 24 hours.  There are 5 minutes between new blocks. 24 hours * 60 minutes / 5 is 288 blocks per day * 50 (the block reward).  The diff adjustment applying to each block in the fashion that it does accordingly (25% up or down) help keep things on an even level.  The scarcity of NEOS combined with it's usefulness, I don't foresee it being something that is dumped too carelessly for a quick return or even wave trading.

Hopefully that helps set your minds at ease some but if not please feel free to voice your concerns even with that being said.

I think cluster dropping it to 3 was to extreme. I like the devs response to this. We definitely want it to be actively mined, so we don't want to do anything to make miners stay away from the coin at all.

My only question is, wouldn't it help the coin even more if it were dropped down to 25? Wouldn't that just make it even better, and still be high enough for it to be actively mined? Either way it's going to be a success, just wondering if this might improve things even more??

holy shit this coin just came out of nowhere!!

I just watch the screencast. I got to Bittrex and missed the first tier. The people who invested already made a 25% profit, and I think that is just the beginning of this coin. Funny what happens when you got real devs behind a coin.

Exchange in wallet. I love it!! And it's real lol

Lol, SFR already has exchange in wallet, in fact Saffroncoin has Bittrex and Cryptsy both in wallet. I really don't understand what's new with this coin, Can someone explain after doing some research on Saffroncoin? Please I am confused. These coins are selling for 12500 sat without even release of coin.

Saffroncoin has five algos including x11 and Blake,
it has SFRbit: so you can buy anything that accepts bitcoin,
it has multi anonymity feature: in SFRsend+ you can just send and receive SFR by alias,
it has SFR pay in wallet where you can buy SFR using PayPal,
it has two exchanges in wallet,
it has twitter feed,
it has difficulty statistics,
it has marketcap stats,
it will release decentralised market in few days where you can buy and sell goods using SFR.
 What else do you need?

And it is just trading at around 1700 sat. Lol

Why are you in the Neoscoin thread with all of this. We would go to the Saffroncoin if we wanted to talk about saffron.

Maybe you should do the same? I just think you are in the wrong thread sir.

Oh, and if you think saff is as good as this coin you should invest because it's trading a 1700 sat, so you should make a killing.

Buying node, pm me offers.

Hehe this guy is a scammer. Pretty much stole my NODE stake. Anyone who can give me information about this guy will recieve BTC reward. Fucking bitch.

How can he move coins while blockchain stuck? Contact devs, they should be able to help.

WTS 100k 1BTC

Blockchain wasn't stuck at the last few days. I transferred coin successfully.

And it's not stuck now either. Correct?
