1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 05, 2023, 09:32:09 AM
Advice #1 : Diversify

It's not wrong to have some altcoins in your wallet, that's the best strategy, always have few altcoins and let your main focus be on Bitcoin itself, I have 9 altcoins in my wallet and Bitcoin is my biggest holding, and if any pump happens among these altcoins I will take profit and use it to buy more Bitcoin.
Diversify is a good strategy, but diversifying your investment portfolio into with a same sector is bad idea.

Bitcoin price is independent while most of altcoins are follow Bitcoin price. This mean when Bitcoin price is decline, the altcoins price will decline too and vice versa. The main purpose of diversify is to prevent all of your investment are in loss, so diversifying to altcoins isn't fit the purpose.

You're buy altcoins just to make short term profit, not diversify.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: July 05, 2023, 07:43:31 AM
When the gambler gambled and bet, he must have done so in his personal wisdom. so he has to take full responsibility for it and he can't blame anyone and can't blame the gambling agent either.  Because if he wins the gamble then the gambling agent is bound to pay him his money with the profit but when he loses he must accept the loss. here the gambler got greedy and bet there, he cannot blame anyone and he has to take responsibility for his financial loss.
That what a denial person is, not only happen in gambling, but this kind person can be find everywhere. This kind person can't accept any lose or wrong, they will blame the other people and try to create fake story to make people think they're right.

This kind person is dangerous in relationship, but in gambling, the casino can just ignore it or ask security to kick him.

We, as a gambler, need to bet what we can afford to lose and accept the losses since gambling isn't to earn money only.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 05, 2023, 07:14:20 AM
I don't have such gambling pattern, I just gamble what I have and what I want.

Remember, I'm not a gambling addict, I gamble what I have it's not mean I gamble anything I have. I make sure only gamble when I can afford to lose and it will not cause a harm to my life. This week I could gamble $10, next week I could gamble $100, the third week I could gamble $50, it's completely depend on my mood.
1045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LENDERS STAY SAFE on: July 05, 2023, 07:01:07 AM
The case is pretty similar like this one Loan Defaulted [Yolo89] ! where he use KYC as the collateral.

I think old and experienced lenders already know if KYC isn't a valid collateral because there's no way to verify, easy to photoshopped and the identity can't be sold. But for new lenders, they need to be careful, avoid anything that too good too be true.
1046  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What steps should I take to succeed here? on: July 04, 2023, 03:28:37 PM
Succeed here? here in this forum? my assumption you're want to get the highest rank, so you need to be active in this forum at least 2 years and half with minimum of earned 1000 merits.

If you want to be succeed in cryptocurrency, all you need is to learn how to secure your device, use non custodial wallet, only invest in Bitcoin, use DEX and avoid clicking any random link or participating airdrop/giveaway.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ambivalent attitude to gambling on: July 04, 2023, 03:10:09 PM
No gambler treated gambling as entertainment all the time he is playing, there will always be a time of changing or shifting your mindset, we are tempted to be like that, we are just humans and tempted to be greedy especially when money is involved.
It's mean your self control skill is bad and you need to think what's the reason your mindset is changed. I was a gambler who gamble for money, but mostly I didn't achieve my goal and I'm not happy with the result. After that I learn to change my mindset to gamble only for entertain, regardless of the outcome is, I always happy since gambling is fun. Until now my mindset is never changed and gamble is always to entertain for me.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 04, 2023, 03:03:18 PM
Gundogan departure to Barcelona wouldn't be a serious issue for Guordiola he is one of the best manager in the world thus he can easily replace Gundogan role in the team, I think Gundogan personal desire to play for Barcelona when the opportunity came up was responsible for his departure thus issue of contract improvement isn't the problem, however recall when Man City was having issue with left backs in the squad yet he allowed Joan Cancelo to join Bayern Munich on a loan deal despite that Guordiola still won the treble, issue of key players leaving a strong club and with a perfect replacement of such players is one of the yardstick in rating a very good manager thus the team will still remain formidable next season.
Left back position isn't really crucial, although Manchester City still don't have pure left back, but it's more easier to replace Cancelo's position. While Gundongan's position can only be replaced with Kevin De Bruyne, but Pep choose to let De Bruyne and Gundongan play at the same time, maybe it's more stronger and wouldn't completely depend on one player. If De Bruyne injured or he run out of his stamina, Pep need to find the solution. Maybe we will see Alvarez would play in central attacking midfielder?
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin system on: July 04, 2023, 02:48:17 PM
Bitcoin can't be hacked, you can show when was Bitcoin got hacked.

Shitcoins will never become a threat, they can't replace Bitcoin even though there are more than 20K coins.

Scams mostly happen on centralized sites, that's why choose decentralized one.

Government can't stop Bitcoin, anyone can still able to send and receive Bitcoin through P2P.

I'd say BRC-20 token was a threat for Bitcoin because this shitcoin run in Bitcoin network, this make on chain Bitcoin transaction cost a lot fees.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 03, 2023, 02:16:54 PM
It's unfortunate to hear about your friend's situation with his wife discovering his gambling habits. Sometimes, such revelations can lead to difficult conversations and tough decisions in relationships.
Man, there's always a problem in relationship because you're married with someone who have it's own mind, not to mention you're also need to face her parents and families which is you need to deal with many people personalities.

Usually a women and her family would allow her husband bad habit e.g. gambling, alcohol, night party, drunk etc if he can give a lot money. That's why money is a big matter to make your life easier and make your life happier.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 03, 2023, 01:22:57 PM
No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now.
Sorry what did you mean?

If you know gambling is only for fun, you don't need to quit because you wouldn't become an addict or ruin your life to gamble most of your money to get profit.

The problem of why people should temporary quit from gambling is when they gamble in order to make more money. But gambling is full of luck and there's a house edge, you will high likely lose and the house will high likely become the winner.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, Not your coins" is not enough on: July 03, 2023, 12:43:54 PM
Peach Bitcoin ask their users to install their software in order to use their service, I don't feel safe and trust them. If their service is a web based, I would explore their site and compare the fee with the other sites.

One of biggest problem with DEX/P2P is lack of local currency. If you don't use USD or EUR, the option would be severally limited and sometimes with unfavorable exchange rate.
What do you think the solution for those people who want to use DEX/P2P but their country aren't accept USD or EUR? is there such digital bank that accept every currency and the fees is worth to use?
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 02, 2023, 10:36:40 AM
I don't know Arsenal can or would like to spend hundreds of million euros to make a signing like this in the first place. Even if they do Mbappe wouldn't still choose Arsenal as long as Real Madrid make the same offer.
It all depends on the offer and Mbappe's decision to choose that, but we as a football fans know Real Madrid is more stronger and high likely will help Mbappe to reach his maximum capability. Mbappe could win Champions League and get Ballon d'Or easier.

It's also an honor for Mbappe to replace number 7 player in Real Madrid which one of them is Cristiano Ronaldo, there are many reasons Mbappe will move to Real Madrid rather than Arsenal.
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: July 02, 2023, 10:26:40 AM
I don't understand what are people trying to say in this thread!

They start saying KYC is bad, there's nothing safe in online, KYC leaked, I will avoid KYC etc etc and then they would say if the casino is big and reputable I don't mind to submit KYC in the last sentence lol.

If you're think you can't accept to submit KYC, just don't gamble on regulated and licensed casino in the first place.
1055  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's yours feelings about Ku-coin recent moves? on: July 02, 2023, 09:53:30 AM
I don't feel anything, as always been expected any centralized exchange will force their users to submit KYC when the time has come, it's similar like we're just waiting any centralized exchange will get hacked since there's always vulnerability for anything run in online.

So this is really normal, if anyone want to trade Bitcoin without KYC, just use decentralized exchange or no KYC P2P, most of them wouldn't ask KYC, only few of them.
1056  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk own Casino complaint panel on: July 02, 2023, 08:24:03 AM
Your idea is pretty much similar like this project which has been suspended [IBCO - suspended] ⚽🎰 Casino Critique⭐ FREE Chip for BCT Members ❤️‍🔥. Although I don't know what's the reason the project has been suspended, but some users think the project is operated by untrustworthy users.

I don't think it's good to have such project, there's a chance of corruption or it turn become scam, moreover the casino might don't care about the project because they view this project is same like the other users. I mean, both are same, you're contacting the casino via social media and wait until they replied your message.

I see you're use Rollbit as the example. don't forget Trustdice's representative created their own thread to stop reply any accusation toward them.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 07:40:01 AM
There's a casino still not set a minimum age to gamble because they're not licensed and not asking any KYC, this will make underage could enter gambling. I don't think you can sue those casino with this reason because those casinos have been operating for many years until now.

However asking minimum age to gamble is pointless, a 21 years old person might have a childish personality while a 15 years old person might have a mature mind like 21 years old.
1058  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 400$ Loan defaulted by [Yabes] on: June 30, 2023, 04:41:38 AM
I'd rather guess that there are obstacles in his real life than deliberately refuse to pay off the loan.
Yeah it seems the guy is not a scammer according to his post history where he's always active since 2019 even though he's not participate in subscription campaign. He have asking multiple loan before and have successfully paid back, I'm expecting a same with this loan.

A neutral tag should be given if this case is already resolved.
1059  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not your key not your wallet on: June 30, 2023, 04:24:03 AM
Even if you use any of the SPV wallets which provide you private keys and seed phrases, none wallet is yours until you create your own full node wallet.
It's completely wrong to say having a key must run a full node!

Running full node mean you help the decentralization and you take a part, it could increase your privacy too. But using SPV wallets don't mean your wallet are get controlled with the central server or someone else. Either SPV or full node, your wallet has a same security.

Don't instantly trust what you receive in your email.
I mean, that's a different topic.

What's the reason someone create a fake email when it's just remind to withdraw his funds on CEX and not ask him to click anything or send to specific Bitcoin address?
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 29, 2023, 09:31:03 AM
Do you care with your privacy? you must never share your personal information in everywhere, but I know you guys already broke it because you've share your identity to airdropped project, centralized exchange, university, volunteer, scholarship program, social medias etc.

Now why bother about giving KYC to a centralized casino? it fall to the same category where your personal information could be misused.
