I was impressed by Norwich's confidence in yesterday's game. Even though Man United have not been good in their games, they are still seen as the big guys.
It would have been a clean sheet for Norwich in the first half after Ronaldo demoralized their defense and opened the score sheet in the 7th minutes and went on to weaken it in the 32nd but then, dowell had to net in a goal and gave Norwich hope .
The game was quite an impressive and easy one for Man United, bit I think they need to do better if they plan to move up in the table.
Despite his advanced age, Ronaldo is still in great shape and I think he really wants to participate in the Champions League and he is making an effort for it. Everyone knows that Manchester United could not be in the top 4 teams because of the points they lost for a few weeks. In the following weeks, they will show similar performance and try to beat Tottenham in the league. Despite everything, Norwich had a good fight and scored 2 goals  One of the things that surprises me so much is the age of christiano Ronaldo at his age he does what he knows very well, he still plays better more than the young players. Tottenham are not consistent in their performance I expect Manchester United to win the match. The victory of Manchester United against Norwich will make them to improve for the next game against Tottenham. |

Arsenal and Southampton are clearly different in terms of quality of players therefore Arsenal can control the game up to 76% and 23 shots
but as you said their defense is weak and finishing is not optimal even though a few months ago they weren't like that all compact and stable
So this is my question, what's going on? they are still playing with the existing squad but the performance is different.
Arsenal's defeat from Southampton was quite surprising, because in the previous week Southampton were battered after being slaughtered by Chelsea with a score of 0-6. The defeat to Southampton was Arsenal's third in a row, having previously lost to Crystal and Brighton. Arsenal is like Forgot how to win games, Arsenal players seem to be frustrated, they performed better in this match, but ended in a defeat. Arsenal have not only lost 9 important points in their three consecutive defeats, Arsenal can also only score one goal in those three matches. I'm not surprised of arsenal performance because sometimes football are like this , football pattern change unaware to anyone . Southampton winning against arsenal can be luck it doesn't mean Southampton is better than arsenal, it is very common that what is expected from big teams at time don't come through. |

I have not seen the match of Atletico vs Mallorca because i don't follow the spanish Primera Division that closely but i am pretty sure that the result of the match on saturday does not allow any conclusions to be drawn for the upcoming second leg against Manchester City. I am pretty sure that the players of Atletico were not going all out this weekend because they did not want to risk an injury which would make them miss the biggest match for them of this season so far.
Of course ManCity is still the favorite because they are simply the best team of Europe (which basically means the best team in the world) at the moment, but Atletico still has a chance.
Am not going to use saturday match of Mallorca defeating Atletico Madrid as a weak team, Atletico Madrid is a good team performing well in the Spanish League, let's see how their upcoming matches will be like before thinking that any team can defeat them just like that at anytime. |

As a Liverpool fan, I'm quite happy that we managed to get a draw yesterday. I felt City was dominating more, they had a few great chances that Alisson saved and had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside call.
We had great moments in the game but not through long periods so we didn't really deserve a better result.
City are a point ahead and do have an easier schedule but it isn't over yet. One slip will be really costly and I wouldn't be surprised if one team wins all remaining games.
.. I draw is not poor performance for Liverpool, they did their best to have played a draw with Manchester City, it tells that they are strong enough to face Manchester city. I predicted and know that the match will end with a draw. Between the two teams Manchester had the best performance in the match. |

Bad luck for Egypt and bad luck Mohammad Salah who didn’t qualify in Qatar Football World cup in 2023.Sadio Mane did well his job.But i Think It's very hard to qualify in round of 16 Africa countries. I think every group is death for Africa countries. Who do Egypt have aside Mo Salah? With all due respect no one. He is the star player in the team, all the pressure is on him because the team is dependent on Mo Salah. if he is injured, the Egypt national team will not be able to scale through the world cup. Last weekend's games were incredible with Manchester City and Liverpool battling for the first position but the match ended with 2:2 goals for both clubs. but apart from the Liverpool Manchester weekend game the rest of the matches that hold over the weekend was not enjoyable at all.

Atletico Madrid - Manchester City game is approaching us now. Atletico Madrid are going to need to have a more attacking game plan at this point. Because they are already 1-0 behind now and they need to find that goal before their opponent. If they succeed, then things can go on very interestingly. Today, Barcelona played an away game against Levante. They did what was expected from them but it was very difficult at the same time. Levante were ready to surprise them really much and they were almost making it. But Barcelona were saved by L. de Jong in the last minutes and they won 3-2. The gap with Real Madrid is still 12 points but Barcelona still maintain their chance for the La Liga title now. However it is too hard to even imagine it for Barcelona logically.
Despite the match was so difficult in the first half for Barcelona but they achieved their points at the end of the match. Levante coach really prepared his players in today match because after the first half they were leading Barcelona with one goal before Barcelona equalize 1-1 at 59 minutes. Barcelona defeated levante team 2-3 to prepare the mind of their fans, that very soon they will top la Liga table. I believe Barcelona still have a good Chance to win this La Liga champion title, if their coach can introduce new strategies that will make them unbeatable in this tournament. I think Barcelona will be definitely win this season champion title. Barcelona were just luck , they quickly understood that the tactic and strategy they were play is not going to favour them, they has to change their ways. If they had continued in the same way it would have been difficult for them to win, because the lavente was much ready for Barcelona in the game. |
