1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining problem again on: August 22, 2014, 07:46:42 AM
It is good for people to understand how it gets fixed.

I hate when people solve their problem and 2 things happen,
either they dont know how it got fixed or
dont tell others how they fixed it.

In your first post you had 2 instances of the username -u that would cause an error

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://188.165.197.41:3333 -u guess.1 -p XXX -u --no-submit-stale --queue 0

in the other one you  needed to make sure the batch file was in the bfgminer folder then you dont need confusing pathing instructions, you can just always start it with bfgminer.exe and you were giving it iccarus commands but never told it to use iccarus options.

J:\bfgminer-4.5.0-win64\bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3368 -u sickhouse.1 -p XXX -G --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S //./COM38 -S //./COM40 -S //./COM43 -S//./COM44 -S //./COM46

 bfgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://trc.coin-pool.org:3340 -u sickhouse.1 -p 123 -G -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LAT] LATIUM - World's First Viral CryptoCurrency on: August 22, 2014, 07:09:41 AM
looks like I have another 5 LAT pending... i half expect it to be declined though, I've missed out on like 30 LAT so far

I still have latium pending from like a month ago from before their auto payout system. Their 400,000 satoshi pump they did means nothing when you can't get your latium out of pending and into your wallet to trade and upgrade.

HAHA POS, you surely cant stake on coins that never get approved and distributed to your wallet. Seems like this development team has some real priority issues they need to deal with.

Latium Admins will you be staking coins for us that are in pending for a month or more? how can we get POS on those coins??

hello latium
i reinstall my latium cleant and i forgot my old address, how i can add new address to my account? when i click add new address system write is "You already have added a wallet in our system." help me fix this problem Huh

If you did not save your wallet.dat file in a safe place their may be a good chance you overwrote it, if that happened your coins may be lost forever. usually you should save/backup your wallet.dat file, delete the coins folder out of your AppData folder, re-install the new version of a coins wallet, open the wallet, then let it load , then close the wallet and copy your old wallet.dat file into the new wallets AppData folder,then re-open the wallet. Sometimes if your lucky you can also copy the blockchain and other files and open your new wallet and not have to re-download/re-sync the block chain, but that may be for some experienced crypto freaks like me Smiley
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [AXR] Project Axron - LAUNCHING 8/21 - POOLS AVAILABLE on: August 21, 2014, 02:22:06 PM
I have done what I should do.
If anyone loses money on xbit and this coin,  you deserve it.
No more reply in the shitcoin's thread.

It is OK for you to doubt. We are currently waiting for POD analysis. Believe me, nobody would go through the trouble of developing a coin and using their name if they wanted to scam people. Crypto is a hard world, I do hope you can say you are wrong and mine this coin if we prove to you that we are truly transparent.

Crypto is not a hard world, Developing the coin might be but the industry itself is not hard at all. The problem is NO ONE, not one single coin and development team, has done what they need to do to make their coin better than the rest. I seriously wish I had the money to pay a development team to develop a coin for me and the money for just a few good website designers and flash coders, I would put bitcoin to shame and put the rest of the coins to their grave. It might take me a year to prepare it, but if I were able to launch it, once launched, scammers will delete their accounts, and good coins will be dumping like crazy, and bitcoin will become just a memory. It is so sad No coin has thought of the stuff I have in mind, really its that sad.

Note that bittrex seem to be this close -->||<-- to delisting the coin:

Yea got all excited, found a coin I can mine the crapout of and Sad so sad for me it seems as if its going to die. If you coud have seen the coins rolling in from my 1Thash  miner HAHAHA 11 coins per minute LOL I wish I could do that shit with bitcoin I would be rich in 2 hours. I did not have a problem syncing the wallet it ook some time because I only had 4 nodes in my config, but it still got the job done. I bhope the developers see their problems on Bittrex and put up 2 bitcoins to save their coin and do some stuff to progress it forward, i would love to mine this coin for a while, such a low difficulty.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin under development on: August 20, 2014, 02:25:35 AM
More shit coins exactly what the world needs.

Itīs not even released... so how can you know if itīs a shit coin?

"Why the fuck would sears take on Marinecoin if they ever do it's going to be btc and ltc."

"who ever buys this crap and not the real litecoin LTC is a retard."

"Nope , longest last coin besides namecoin with daily volume in the millions.

So dead , such retard"

"Lol fucking lying bagholders"

Nice comments in the forum, a very important user  Roll Eyes

I could be wrong but from reading a lot of other posts, the "Veterans" feel that if you put a poll up for your coin it is a shit coin from the start. Personally I dont care about anything listed in the poll, I want to find a good coin with a great development team, and as of yet there is no such coin. So, lets be frank, every single coin out there including Bitcoin, at this stage of the game, are all shit coins. There is not 1 single coin worth more than shit right now, not one coin with a guaranteed secure future, and the only thing demanding these coins is the market that which they are traded on. What this does is allow these coins to be manipulated exactly like all other fiat currency. The difference, Fiat actually has a demand. All i see are thousands of pump and dump schemes, so I am on board for the pump and I dump before the developers do. I do not make quite as much as them, but its a fun train to ride and it pays you at the last stop so why not??

I have my eye on a handful of specific coins in hopes they will develop into something worth more than shit, But you never know.
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I, Joel511, the original creator/dev of Coin2.1 is coming back!!! on: August 20, 2014, 01:55:55 AM
Well I bought 8 btc worth of C2 last week......at the time BTC was $500-$550.  So is a  $4000 investment a good enough reason?  If not, I have been selling BTC on localbitcoin.com for over 8 months now and making about 5-10% on each transaction.  I have been leading people into C2 and there is alot of buzz in my area. (Pittsburgh, PA).  I am a full time web designer.  That is what bought me my houses.  I made maybe 3 BTC from the creation of my coin. I dont need money.  I dont care about money.  I am an idealist.  I see problems with the world and I want to fix them.  I am looking for a legacy, not money.  C2 is my legacy.  I fixed it once.  My board fixed it twice.  We have been around longer than many of the alt coins.  I lost direction for awhile because I was being pulled in 50 different ways.  I am not offended, its an honest question.  But I have one for you.  What are you plans to help C2.1?
You failed to answer my question Joel What steps have you taken or do you plan to take to secure your coins future?

I am invested in a handful of coins, and to be quite frank and answer your question Joel, understand this, it is not my or our responsibility to help or develop your coin, that is your responsibility, if you develope a good strong coin, the community will push it even farther. Its success and support from the community completely resides in your work and development in the starting stages. Its reputation is based upon your actions. You did not answer my question however, what you did was go farther in explaining roughly how many bitcoin you could have made in your first pump and dump.

Joel dont be an idiot everyone needs money, even Steve Jobs and Bill gates could use a little more money, if no one needed money Bill gates would not need a 40 billion dollar investment portfolio on top of his already outrageous income he has generated from the company he started. Telling people you do not need money will not entice them to invest in your coin.

Let me be completely straight forward in this next question, exactly what worldly problems is this coin going to solve?

Be very careful when stating where you are from, FYI: I am from the tri-state area brother, Grew up there and even owned a couple businesses there, I sent a few emails out last night to check your story, I sent emails to entrepreneurs and crypto freaks from Pittsburgh, PA to Morgantown, WVA to Colombus, Ohio and none of my business associates have heard of your coin, So I am not sure what to think about the BUZZ you feel you have going right now. it is a small buzz from one little bee (being you) or is it a large buzz from a swarm of bees? theres a big difference brother.

So to sum up this post, please BEFORE you respond to anything else answer the 2 questions, being you are a renouned web designer it should be interesting to see your answers

What steps are you taking or have you taken to secure the future of your coin?
What worldly problems is this coin going to solve?
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations - 0.9.2.1 on: August 19, 2014, 06:14:13 PM
The latest is 0.9.2.1

that is crappy, I could have sworn I got it from the main website. So this means try and download the new version and let it sync and try all of this all over again GRRRRR

Thank you for the info.

UPDATE:

No that did not work either, got the new wallet version checked all the files got it synced in, double checked the conf file and the cgminer bat files and it still is not connecting to mine.  I can see it is trying to activate the miner but the miner freezes, once it begins to initiate the R-box it just gets stuck and will not begin to mine. I really wish I could solve this problem.

what really makes me mad is I can mine absolutely anything else, even when the zetacoin Bat file is saying waiting for hotplug device I can simultaneously start another bat file solo mining or pool mining and it will connect right up to anything but zetacoin.

-----SUPER AWESOME UPDATE-----

Nevermind FINALLY GOT IT. and already got my first block and zetacoin

it was the port and the new wallet both combined, what it all needed to be was

zetacoin.conf

rpcuser={MY ZETACOIN ADDRESS}
rpcpassword=12345
maxconnection=50
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcallowip=192.168.0.*
rpcport=17335
port=17333
server=1

addnode=146.185.148.114
addnode=94.23.68.11
addnode=69.147.229.226
addnode=108.58.12.53
addnode=54.200.48.80
addnode=192.241.136.114
addnode=216.158.85.123
addnode=85.17.227.176

zetacoin.bat

cgminer.exe --icarus-options 115200:1:1 -o http://127.0.0.1:17335 -u {MY ZETACOIN ADDRESS} -p 12345 --rock-freq 290 --btc-address {MY ZETACOIN ADDRESS}
pause

For those of you using this example to solo mine yourself keep in mind these values may be different for you
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcallowip=192.168.0.*

Also the cgminer has specific commands for my Rockminer R-Box 40Ghash/s miner so your CGMiner commands could be a little different as well.
For Example the Antminer USB erupters use the --bmsc-options 115200:20 commands

in order for you to get the correct values go to each computer and click start enter CMD and hit enter
then type ipconfig and hit enter
look  for the IPv4 address write it down for each computer and make a new rpcallowip for each one so all your machines can connect to your main computer where the wallet is a server

if you are using miners like S1 or S2 antminers use the IP for those specific machines and make an instance for each one just to be safe.

Thank you to all of you who tried to help

Bro i am so sorry you will not like this I read your post and what I took from it was, hey guys I am back, my first pump and dump got me 2 houses i am now renting, I have a lot of drama in my life and now My girl want to kick me to the curb cause she needs more money for things we dont really need. So if you could please allow me to pump this coin once again, it worked so well for me the first time I can now rent some houses out and still do websites on the side for additional income, but I would really like some more icing on my cake.

If you feel offended please correct me if I am wrong by listing exactly how you plan to secure the future of your coin that your so-called BOARD has held above water since all the drama literally crashed your life.

Again what are your plans to secure your coins future?

That is very strange.  What version of the wallet are you using?  If it's the latest, try using an 0.8.99.x version.
Also, if you were getting lots of orphans on a pool I really doubt you'll get better results doing it solo locally.
This question popped in my mind also

I thought I had the most current version of the wallet, especially since i just downloaded and synced it in yesterday directly from the zetacoin site, it says
Zetacoin version v0.8.99.18-unk-beta

Is this not the most current version?

No, firewalls were down, that last picture is a Betacoin Solo mine and u see I even got a block solo mining beta coins LOL So no firewall issues that I know of, I even tried turning off my antivirus, nothing is working, I can say I tried that solo mining pool securepayment website however my 1thash machine combined with my R-box got all orphaned blocks none were paid.

 I had that error on my laptop trying to solo mine betacoins to my main computer, I was not RCP allowing its IP therefore it was not able to connect and gave me that same probing for active pools, as soon as I added the RCPallowip for that computer and my big machine they both were able to solo mine to my wallet on my desktop computer. I did have a probem on the laptop tho it said pool 0 cant get work fast enough, but thats better than not connecting at alllike the zetacoin is doing to me.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Please help Solo Mining Betacoins on: August 19, 2014, 02:25:51 PM
Hello

I have a few things going on, I use CGminer for everything
My wallet is in sync and being used as a server

I have a rockminer R-Box  40Ghash/s running on the same computer my wallet is set on, those are working just fine,

I have a 1 Thash/s miner running on a wired network secondary router. I say secondary because my DSL modem is a modem/router but only has 1 port so I had to buy another router so I can hardwire my computer and the miner on the network. The big miner is running and getting shares and blocks but its getting a lot of GET FAILURES. but its mining so if anyone can help me lower those GET FAILURES that would be great

The real problem is on my laptop downstairs, I have 2 2.2 Ghash Antminer usb miners on a powered USB hub, and they keep getting a Pool 0 cant get work fast enough error, how do I fix that? This computer is a wireless connection, thought I should mention that.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be honest on: August 19, 2014, 06:21:32 AM
To be honest I just enjoy trading them, I used to trade on Forex and got fed up with fighting the banks and their idiocity, so I cashed out of there and we now mine and trade , I use cryptsy right now, But to be utterly honest and not caring if any coin owner or developer is offended, You guys need to get yur heads out of your asses, for a bunch of high scale developers who know so much you sure dont know how to run a coin. and you certainly dont know the first thing about a currency market.the sooner you guys get your heads out of your asses and hands out of other peoples pockets and do somthing productive, the sooner you will be so rich  you might be standing next to Bill gates on the forbes top 10n richest people in the world.

God if I had just a little bit more money I would put all of you to shame even BTC developers. And the people helping me to develope a coin,they too would be raking in the cash. Sorry to say but it is true, why? because you guys ALL miss one very important thing when developing all these coins. Once you figure it out, there will be no more pump and dump coins, there will be no more high dollar investment worries and the markets on cryptocoins, OMG thru the roof. The sad thing is these guys making all these coins most of them dont really care about the coins future,they have a pump and dump mind set from the beginning no mater if its a 6 months pump and dump or a 3 year pump and dump. Once you get that Pumpand Dump thought out of your mind and decide to secrure a coins future, you will pass bitcoin in a matter of months in value. This will then cause Bitcoin to remove their thumbs and heads out of their asses and really begin to progress their coins future. but as of now they can just sit back , manipulate the BTC value as they see fit and rake in the cash.

Right now all these coins are just some get quick money schemes, nothing of real value as of yet, I have my eye on a few coins but I think like someone mentioned above, One big BIG crash and you are going to see a lot of these coins die and disappear.
1055  Economy / Lending / Re: Selling property on: August 19, 2014, 06:06:02 AM
This property has now been SOLD. This offer and need of lending is no longer needed. We have already used the money made from the sale in exactly what i said it would be used for. We have purchased our first REAL mining machine and may purchase another really soon. I am still doing some tests on the equipment we just received. Thank you to all those who contacted me.

And for this post I didnt want to be an ass while trying to sell the property But now.....HAHA
maybe you find someone in your country too.  Smiley

You are a complete idiot if you honestly think I had not already tried that. If you dont live in the Philuippines, and are not Filipino, please try it sometime and you will certainly see why statements like this are so utterly STUPID.

tried the gen=0 did not work,

I tried something new,

when the cgminer Zetacoin Bat file says waiting for USB hotplug device and says no devices found, I leave it opened and open another BAT file and magically the other BAT file connects right up to the miner and begins mining. How is that possible for 1 BAT file to not recognize the miner but another one finds it right away and begins mining?

so does this test tell me its certainly in the BAT file??

I have officially spent 12 hours on this coin between the forum registration problems to the solo mining problems, this is irritating, I can solo mine any other coin fine what is it with this zeta coin?

Ok Must be in the zetacoin.conf file, I tried opening solomine with betacoin without opening the wallet and got the

then I oened the betacoin wallet as a server like always in solo mining and got this

SO what si wrong with my zetacoin.conf file??

I am convinced Zetacoin HATES me LOL

Ok I equally have tried this over and over, wanting to solo mine zeta, here is my conf file

rpcuser=cyberpinoy

addnode=192.241.136.114
addnode=216.158.85.123
addnode=85.17.227.176

and here is my CG miner file

cgminer.exe --icarus-options 115200:1:1 -o 127.0.0.1:17334 -u cyberpinoy -p 12345 --rock-freq 290 --btc-address {My ZET ADDRESS IS HERE}
pause

So please tell me what I am doing wrong, It either gets stuck on the waiting for usb hot plugin, however if I close it and open ANY other bat file (solo or pooled mining) it works fine, if it doesnt get that situation I get a Waiting for alive pools and it stays like that for a while then nothing.

I tried the securesomething or other pool and it works fine, so I tried inputting the 27333 port they use and it didnt work.

I tried changing the ip address to local host and it didnt work.

if I can get this to work with my r box and successfully get something in 24 hours I may point my 1 thash/s machine at here but I need to get this Rbox working first.

Thank you
just use the correct port and ur fine, use the number set @ rpcport and not a number you didnt set Tongue

Ok I used both
cgminer.exe --icarus-options 115200:1:1 -o 127.0.0.1:17334 -u cyberpinoy -p 12345 --rock-freq 290 --btc-address {My ZET ADDRESS IS HERE}

pause

Cgminer says

Started CGMiner 4.4.1
Probing for an alive pool
Waiting for work to be available from pools

but any other bat file works fine

First of all, don't listen to the idiots on here. That's what got you into this situation in the first place. The "buy and hold" is a sales tactic of the early investors so they can cash out their bitcoin slowly overtime without the price crashing.

The "early adopters" don't dump/sell their coins at local bottoms.  They sell on the rises and peaks.  If you took even one minute to look at the number of bitcoin days destroyed and how they correlate with bubbles, it'd be very obvious.

The real question is: what do you have to gain by telling OP to sell?  You're either looking to buy from the weaker hands, or your some neckbeard that's butthurt because you "missed out".

As I've said before, my only motivation is to help others see the light. I cut my looses many weeks ago and now I want to help others take the first step forward from the hive mind. I am not advising OP to buy or sell, but I am encouraging him to think clearly and critically about the advice from those on here such as you who are in the same boat as him and likely to give biased advice.

Chuckee I apologize now but if you had the brains god gave to a goose you would see how just ignorant what you replied was. makes me wonder what your true intentions are, and seeing your post I clearly see you are just angered because you too made the stupid mistake not long ago of selling at a loss because yu can not understand charts and did not research the bitcoin currency. If you take just a little bit of time and pick a few different exchanges and deeply look at the charts you will see, much like any currency fiat or crypto, they all have bubbles, they all go up and down, they all have a normal area,they all have highs and lows, thats why we trade everyday. the bottom line is currency trading is a 4 billion dollar a day industry, thats right 4 BILLION dollar industry daily, what that means chuckee is 4 billion dollars are made daily trading currencies all over the world.

The advice you gave this poor kid is just wrong, I hope he ignores your stupidity and seks better advice from veterans here who have been thru the losses, who have struggled thru the bubbles or people like me who have been trading all forms of currencies for years.

trading is most certainly full of risks, and when you click the mouse you are making a gamble, but to foldwhen your holding 4 aces is just stupid in my opinion.

Can I guarantee this kid Bitcoins is going to hit the mark he needs it to hit in the exact timeframe he hopes it to, no none of us can, but I can say if you just look around this forum the proof is in the posts so far you and your cousin failling are the only two ney sayers that stand out, with a community who has this many people with somany positive thoughts you can not deny the proof in their experiences.

i pray God things are as you say. I hold on so far but now things are getting serious. Months passed and I have only lost money. My idea at the beginning was optimistic, I said, in late 2013 it went down, in 2014 it will, it has to rise again, as usual. But so far, I was wrong.
I can tell you, I invested more than 80% of all I had. If my parents knew that... I would be in serious trouble. Part of it was their present for my 18 years and for my university studies.

As a long time Forex trader who has now converted to a crypto trader let me let you in on a little secret. Please try to understand this, altho the price has lowered you have not physically "LOST" anything until you sell. You still have the amount of money in bitcoin that you bought, just because the price is not where you want it, does not necessarily mean you have lost. On an average you basically paid 770 USD per bitcoin. And yes the price is about 477 as I am writing this, however you have not yet lost anything, if you sell now you will most certainly lose money. As long as you can carry on in finances for a while holding on to them will not hurt you, but selling them now will cost you a lot of money.

 The big banks do this very trick in Forex every day, they will sell a pumpload of a currency that they bought at very low prices, scaring the living shit out of people like you in hopes all of you will also sell, what this does is drastically lower the price of the currency giving them the ability to buy a whole lot more at a lot lower price than they were looking at 12 hours ago. The ones who sell, go to sleep angered they lost 200 to 300 dollars per coin/trade but happy they still were able to salvage something. Sometimes you will feel refreshed and wake up and check to see how much lower it went and to your amazement it has jumped up over what you paid for it. In other scenerios and more logical time frames you can watch it and in a day to a week or worst case scenario possibly even a month the price magically pops up where they would have made a HUGE profit.

So to answer your question, if you can afford to hold them it is not going to cost you anything to just keep them, because if you do sell them now you will definitely lose roughly 300+ dollars per coin.
