Have there been any developments, regarding the Jeremy person?
Some people, said they were going to look into tracking him down or visiting US to take action.
Also, If it is illegal, then I doubt the laws will help anyone, specially it being an international case.

i'm on it i'm very close to wrapping this one up ! How much did you lose? I'm only dealing with a 38BTC figure...still i'm never going to give up until we get to the bottom of this!

*if you want me to look into your case feel free to PM me !  Wink

I didn't lose anything. One of my friends did. But not a significant amount.

It seems the only way to send a payment is by writing in the address. Sending to a QR code/mobile implementation would be neat.

I had a similar issue. Really hoped they would add that feature. Also, it does appear they have adopted the bitzino model, but its best to be cautious while depositing huge amounts.

I doubt anyone on the forum will risk giving you their details to cash out money like this. Even though the service might be in demand, but you should probably work on expanding your trust before this. Even then , there is a significant risk involving funds being stolen.

Where can we buy Storj except Polo?
I think Poloniex is the only exchange which currently lists SJCX . Never came across another exchcnage offering it.

Ok enough of politics. its boring.

Where are my coins?  Huh

I dont have alot of patience.

Its funny how people have no patience on matters where it was their mistake on investing, and now they want people who are trying to help to shutup.

It might be a good to check on all the recent sites AK has played on for the IP's, and the addresses where the funds went from the cold wallet. Wouldn't at some point they end up in PD's hot wallet?

Has any of the 2 guys who got the vouch copy left a feedback yet?
I requested one, but haven't got one yet. I see that he is ready to send it to only trusted members, but I am not sure if he means trust or the green trust. Will post if I get anything.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin’s Price Really Matter Right Now? on: October 14, 2014, 10:59:25 AM
The answer to this depends on if you are holding large amounts of bitcoins, or if you are in it for the technology. If you are holding over 1000 coins, then the price definitely matters for you. But if you are someone who doesn't hold a large amount for long, and just use its technological advantage like low transfer fees, then it doesnt.

I disagree with this. People who hold less probably feel the weight of the low price more, especially if you actually want to spend it. People are unlikely to transact with their coins at a loss. Doesn't make sense to spend something if you're losing money. In this instance I would hold until I've at least broken even before I part/sell my coins.

I meant that if the price of bitcoin had always averaged around 100$ , then the price wouldn't really matter to people who just use the bitcoin protocol technology .But if you hold smaller amounts and the price falls from 400 to 100, then Holding is a decent thing.

1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.com - No.1 bitcoin sportsbook on: October 14, 2014, 10:44:10 AM
I joined and deposited $100 in BTC recently on Jetwin, and received your Bonus Offer doubling my deposit.

Now I noticed that I have to wager over $1000.00 before I can even think of withdrawing any funds?Huh

If I had known that before, I would of gladly joined your betting site WITHOUT the bonus offer!!!

Please help me out here and PM me please at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your help.

Hollings

The offer is convenient for people who do a lot of sports bet, and actually continue betting each day/week and are able to bet that amount.

A lot of people don't like premined coins for obvious reasons. But once you are about to release the coins, you can ask for opinions from people in the thread, and they can suggest thr amount of premine they would be comfortable with.

1056  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Amazon & Ebay Goods for BTC. Fast and reliable, 50% of item cost. on: October 08, 2014, 07:58:04 AM
Hmm, I know the OP.
Let me text him to see if his account was hijacked.

lol what? why would someone hijack a new account?

It might be that he means the ICQ. Not sure how that works though, but it will be really stupid if he means the BTCtalk account.
1057  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Amazon & Ebay Goods for BTC. Fast and reliable, 50% of item cost. on: October 07, 2014, 07:55:57 PM
That seems like a very good deal. Whats the catch? Will you do escrow?

The catch is you'll likely get the fraud squad knocking at your door in the near future because he's very likely going to use a stolen credit card... Or this is just a straight up scam to take your btc.

Thats probably true. A lot of people from Asia do end up getting Amazon coupons and balances for some work they did. But even then, no one would offer a 50% off on the goods, and also the user is a Brand New user.

Hey guys, what's the estimate for a gigabyte of space? I want to farm out my hard drives too.

I think this page: http://driveshare.org/
has all the details for the prices paid for different amount of space shared.

Can anyone reupload this video on another account? I can't see it from my country.

Try watching it through Tor or a VPN or download it using a youtube to video service.
