1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 25, 2023, 08:12:32 AM
I think staking is better then investing. For staking we will get some token so if price were down then it will reduce loss. One the other hand for investment if price up then you will get profit but if price were down then there has no way to avoid loss. So i think and i believe staking is better then investing.
Yes, it is true that the amount of profit is a little higher by staking. However, between investing and staking, I prefer staking. By staking, you will get tokens and if the price of tokens increases, then if you calculate the tokens that you will get from staking, it will be much more.  There will be more profit. Again, if the price of the token is dumped after staking, then all the tokens obtained from staking should be sold together. One problem in staking is that the tokens cannot be sold until the staking time is over.
There are incredible gains you can make from.staking for long term, if you can find a very good project at it's early stage and you buy them for cheap price, you can split your bags into two and stake half for the long term and hold the other half for profit taking purposes, there are some people who missed taking profits in the bull market because their staking are still locked, it's better not to stake with all your bags.

Some new projects have nodes available, I heard that those who are earlier to gala nodes are today still making incredible gains, you can look into nodes too, as it's better than staking.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disappearance of cash and bitcoin as an alternative? on: June 25, 2023, 07:10:34 AM
All this is all down to if Bitcoin is ever going to replace Fiat currency, I think we all know the answer to this already, if something will take over the Fiat currency I am sorry to say that it is never going to be Bitcoin, do not forget that the government knew about the advantages of digital currency that's why they coming out with CBDC and that's why they stamping crypto as an asset, with the ETF approval in the work, the whole steps is making some sense don't you think?

Unfortunately, Bitcoin is only a currency that will live within the people's hearts, it is money for the people alone. We will spend it and accept it only within ourselves.
1043  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it painless to control a multitude??? on: June 24, 2023, 06:04:03 PM
If leadership is not comfortable for political leaders why are they rushing to the sit to get elected? Leadership should be something that people rejects and ignore because of the responsibility they will put themselves into but that's not the case I guess.

There is a greater burden for leaders but that's only if they are going there to do something for the country anyway, most of them politicians are aiming for that higher sit for their selfish reasons and gains (MONEY), let's not forget the allowance these leaders are getting per month.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Crypto Advice on: June 24, 2023, 03:26:26 PM
Hello I am looking to invest my 20,000 dollars for retirement but I don't know the best crypto for me to put into to save myself from inflation. I'm 64 years old and don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of this crypto stuff so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.
You can contact me through the forum or via email I appreciate the help

Oops, you probably not going to like what I am about to say sir, if you can't create to learn the necessary things about crypto then crypto investment is not for someone like you, if you don't learn a thing and just invest, how are you going to keep your assets safe? There is something called private key or recovery seed, this is something you must learn about and know if you want to retire with the 20k or risk loosing your 20k before your retirement happens.

Bitcoin is fhs best and the safest one to plan for retirement, but you blindly investing in Bitcoin comes with some.risks and that risks can only be neutralized if you know what Bitcoin is and how you can keep your Bitcoin safe, there are some Bitcoin wallets that are dangerous for storing Bitcoin, how will you tell the difference?
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 24, 2023, 02:01:50 PM
There are bunch of people that will still give up after the halving of bitcoin because they have the expectation of seeing a new all time high after the halving is successful but knowing that they have to wait another year will be less encouraging for them and everything will feel even more boring, how prepared you are is what will set you for greatness in crypto investment,  it's not going to be a smooth journey, trust me, there might come a time where you will doubt yourself and the objectives you are pursuing. This is why I always try to advise many investors to never invest money that they have plans to use in the coming few years, you can never tell how long the bear market will last, let the past be seen as past, and don't always expect the future to repeat the past.
1046  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: June 23, 2023, 05:25:37 PM
People will leave web2.0 for web3 if the advantages are very big but I don't see that happening, web 3 in the gambling/casino space has no difference from Web 2.0, now I even believe that the whole web3.0 idea is nonsense, something that's not fully functioning yet and most importantly, casinos are the last things that need or craves for web 3.0 the most because they don't need it, gamblers are happy with web 2.0 and I am still using web 2.0 crypto wallets and other.

If online casinos needs a better web it would at least introduce something worth switching for, right now, gamblers have no reasons to switch even if a casino is made of web 3.0, it's not needed.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 23, 2023, 04:30:06 PM
I do not accept the fact that without money, the knowledge is a waist, no, no, no because there are lot of people in our society today who don't have money but have the knowledge to get the money they want, I understand that we must use money to make money, think about the fact that if a person may have money but do not have the knowledge to use the money, what will be the outcome of his money? To me the money will be useless. So if you have the knowledge and make money with your knowledge you can use your money wisely
Some part of OPs point is valid, there are countless ways anyone can make money in this world, it doesn't have to be you having some money first before you can make more money, there is a man who knows only how to donate his sperms for dollars and man, he is very good at it, assuming I have no money on me right now, I can decide to work under someone for some monthly salary and use that salary for something else, every first money we are going to get paid requires a service...

Some starts with using money.
Some starts with using strength.
Some start with using just their brain and some starts with using their bodies.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin before the halving? on: June 23, 2023, 03:29:36 PM
No one is trying to trap anybody, the manipulation was already a success, the SEC action was to come into agreement with Binance for the exchange to keep working for US citizens, and their major game was to approve ETF, I strongly believe that approving ETF means that the government are now in crypto themselves, there is nowhere to run or hide from the government now, and only Bitcoin is free of this mess.

You should have started buying your Bitcoin Last year when Bitcoin first dumped so hard, we have tasted some new lows since last year into 2023 around 15,000$ to 17,000$, it takes a very smart person to use the fear of dumps to build their next crypto portfolio, it's the best opportunity in crypto that every smart investor should grab.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: June 23, 2023, 01:01:50 PM
Why is money at hand difficult to hold? I usually find it difficult to keep track of money anytime I have cash at hand, I make plans to hold money, but It never stays because something always demands the money, it is even so bad now that money kept in my account is also now being affected due to expenses. This is not something that happens to only me, I know that because of how money can easily be spent, many people now decide to avoid having cash, avoid taking ATM cards from their banks and also avoid activating USSD or internet banking, but is that really a long term solution? I blame myself a lot for spending so much and being irresponsible with money, but in your opinion, do you think that the soceity is contributing to the high and many expenses making money not to stay or is it just a bad habit I have?
I guess the same thing happens to everyone, I found myself spending more money when I have some money in my bank account, and I found myself spending less when I have no money in the bank.

I always end up planning everything out myself for the week so that I can safe some money, this is why I don't like keeping local currency, I only change stable coin into Fiat if the needs can't be avoided.

Another reason is the inflation, you keep money in the bank, it starts losing value after, I am now used to keeping most of my money in BTC and stablecoins.
1050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I strongly suspect a sinister move here. You? on: June 22, 2023, 07:37:02 PM
For me, all these moves are breaking the coolness of the Bitcoin and crypto space, as I was here all along in order not to let anyone know of my worth, and the decentralization potential of Bitcoin. As a result of the interference of the SEC and the government, this idea is being messed up, so the decision is now up to Bitcoin adopters, whether they continue using the government exchange or not.

There is no reason why I should use centralized exchanges from the SEC and the government, it is time to switch to a more decentralized exchange.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 22, 2023, 05:44:42 PM
And the VIP chase begins Grin

Honest I won't advice anyone to go this route, chasing VIP levels on online gambling casinos can shift your focus if you are the type that's struggling to follow your own gambling rules, VIP rewards will get you confused and you will want to chance and this will affect the way you think and you will lose control and it will get to a time where you will say FK it, the rules don't matter anymore, that's where you will get out of the line and start messing up everything you've tried to build.

Running after higher Tier levels is a messed up plan for new gamblers, I will only recommend if you have been into gambling for a long period of time and you are used to your self-disciplined.
1052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Bitcoin trust worthy on: June 22, 2023, 04:21:56 PM
You are welcome to the forum

If you are not sure about Bitcoin, you don't need to buy Bitcoin for now, take your time to read more about why Bitcoin was created and understands how it works and what benefits comes from holding Bitcoin.

If you are not confused after doing these, then Bitcoin is not for you.

No one told me about Bitcoin, I was just so fascinated about the innovation and I took the risks myself, I knew about Bitcoin for a whole year without investing a penny, and I so much enjoyed reading about Bitcoin and trying some things out myself.

1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is This the End of Crypto? This U.S. Congressman Hopes So... on: June 22, 2023, 03:10:17 PM
If you can't beat them, your only option left is to join them, this is what the government have left as an option, and that's why want to be in control of centralized exchange, that's why they bring up a so-called more reliable centralized exchanges and only fools will believe them and they will be able to monitor your money and your every move.

I think this is also the reason why Bitcoin ETF will be approved this time around, if you can think about it very well you will see it makes sense, all what the SEC wanted is power and involvement in crypto, through them, people should purchase assets instead of other exchanges.
1054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: June 21, 2023, 07:02:05 PM
Bitcoin price is surging today and many people are so excited about the pump, if you have long traded Bitcoin a day ago using futures trading, you are already in very good gains right now, but my advice is there is always a room for correction, Bitcoin will one time correct itself when it pumps so high, do not forget that we are in a bear market still, so we can still drop again.

Those who are expecting Bitcoin to go lower are seeing what is happening right now, you are seeing this opportunity right in front of you, but your greedy desires won't let you DCA, do not worry, more opportunities will show up in this very 2023, but once this year is gone, you will know that you've missed the bull train, all you will have to show is regrets.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A no-Bitcoin friend turned a old Bitcoiner on: June 21, 2023, 05:15:17 PM
I believe this friend of yours is in fear of the mind of men, but I won't support the point that you two aren't genuine friends, I know that friends turn to enemies and friends do better themselves, but the privacy thing makes sense when you keep your worth a secret, it doesn't break privacy teaching people about Bitcoin, it takes a deep thinking to understand this.

If your friend can talk about Bitcoin investment in his family, what makes him think that he is safer doing so? There is a saying that everyone's real enemies are within our mist, some people's real enemies are in their families.

It's all in your front now, your friend don't trust you and he feel unsafe around you when it comes to making money, if you are a good person, you should just accept the truth and move on, but all I see here is untrust between two friends.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on The Island of Bali, Indonesia on: June 21, 2023, 02:39:00 PM
It's nothing but ignorance, countries like Bali are one of the few ones that should be benefitting from digital currencies already, if they are saying no it means they are ignorant and they sure lack the knowledge about Bitcoin.

I won't worry myself much about this if I am living in such country, all I have to do is carefully invest in Bitcoin without anyone knowing, if Bitcoin is not legalized in the country yet it doesn't mean I can't invest because no one will know that I am a crypto investor anyway.

I am not advancing you to do the same, I am using myself as an example of what I would do if Bitcoin is not legal in my country.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin become The General Currency in the Future? on: June 21, 2023, 01:20:56 PM
Bitcoin doesn't need to be the general currency for the whole world in the future all I want is the survival of Bitcoin and the overlook of the government on the digital currency to make it more acceptable by the masses in the future.

Enough of the centralized entities and the government trying to control Bitcoin they should start planning to accept Bitcoin and also gave the people the go-ahead signal that Bitcoin is not a dangerous digital currency because I believe that majority of people are waiting for the government to give them the okay sign before they can start investing in something like Bitcoin.

Now that the ETF looks like something that could work out, maybe the way people look at Bitcoin will be different soon.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: June 20, 2023, 07:21:34 PM
I've seen Bitcoin ATMs only in videos from friends that are living in foreign countries, not in person but I would love to give it a try someday, I think the transaction fee will be the same just as when you are sending Bitcoin from your crypto wallet, unless there are some extra charges that I don't know about.

The Bitcoin transaction fee presently is looking good enough and you can get away with a cheaper feel depending on the time of operation because for example I sent Bitcoin to exchange yesterday using $0.80 and today it's $0.56 so you see that it's always lower and higher too.

It is unlikely that all countries will have Bitcoin ATMs as Bitcoin is not yet legalized globally, something that may never happen in the future, maybe we will have a Satoshi island or nation where Bitcoin is the sole currency someday, that will be good for tourism where crypto lovers and adopters will love to visit, how crazy is this?
1059  Bitcoin / Mining / For how long on: June 20, 2023, 04:42:17 PM
For how long will one have to wait to see new Bitcoin asic miners get released into the market? Four years or more? I am curious because all the available Asic miners are already getting older and less profitable, how long does it takes for Asic companies to build the latest Bitcoin Asic miners with higher Hashrate?

Also, why are new projects not using the Bitcoin mining algorithm? I feel I am missing something in this area, is the Bitcoin sha-256 not suitable for newer proof of work projects or this is something that the project's developers have to choose themselves? Like are they avoiding sha-256 for a reason?

1060  Economy / Economics / Re: The SEC is right. It's not about Bitcoin, it's about centralized shitcoins. on: June 20, 2023, 03:59:36 PM
This is why we can’t blame SEC that much since its their job to protect the interest of the public from those businesses who are taking advantage the ignorance of the public. Yes, they are not targeting Bitcoin but since those centralized exchanges are big enough to influence the whole market, the price of BTC are also reacting to this while the many is panicking. Let’s see how Binance will work on this, and i think they’ll face more problems with other country as well, hope they can settle this.
That is if SEC is even protecting the interest of the public for real, I do not believe this because you can't tell me that FTX customers find just disappeared into thin air, where have the money gone to? Who are the accomplice of this FTX madness? Just that Sam guy and his so called assistant in crime? I do not believe that, if the SEC chairman is into other projects in the space and not Bitcoin then there is more that meet the eye, they are pretending to be working for the public but they are not, it's always about the money.
