1041  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Amazon GC Cheap rates on: January 29, 2017, 06:53:36 PM
I'm looking to buy Amazon gift cards for rates that are somehow cheap compared to the current market price, before you suggest purse.io then I already know about it and the rates are higher then what I'm looking for.
I clearly don't want to deal with shady newbie accounts that sells carded gift cards, P.M or post your offer below.
1042  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Donald Trump Independent ? on: January 29, 2017, 05:38:50 PM
I'm really interested in hearing the arguments of the people that says that he is actually independent because If the elite are that powerful and he is indeed not controlled by them , I doubt they would stay and watch themselves being destroyed , since the discussion became more active these days , I added a poll too.
1043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Price comparison of Bitcoin Debit Cards on: January 29, 2017, 05:00:35 PM
It's pretty normal In my opinion as most of bitcoin services have hidden fees unless they state otherwise in their fees page. Somehow , It's the users fault as well because these services would never exist If people don't use them . I'm almost sure that people switched from PayPal for example to bitcoin just because of the fees , so seeing bitcoiners using bitcoin debit cards with high fees is definitely not something logical.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fiverr no longer accepting Bitcoin on: January 29, 2017, 04:06:42 PM
I'm not sure how many of you are using Fiverr for doing some gigs there but I just noticed that they are no longer accepting it , I googled to see If they announced anything about it and I found an article about it on Bitcoinist , they claimed that this is a business decision and couldn't give more details about it.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the price system manage to work? on: January 28, 2017, 05:27:39 PM
Miners kept mining when the price was like 250$ at some point so I don't see them stopping to mine anytime soon. If it's no longer profitable for them , they will stop selling in exchanges probably and that will result in less supply and cause a price increase , It's as easy as it sounds. Everything is based on supply and demand.
1046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any advertising network like A-Ads that accepts blogs? on: January 28, 2017, 04:07:56 PM
I doubt all of them are rejecting blogs because I've seen blogs with ads before , If the problem is only on the domain name then getting one for cheap or for free shouldn't be an issue at all. If this is the list that you have checked then I suggest checking Adalso or Coinzilla.io as they are new to the market compared to the others.
1047  Other / Meta / Hardware wallet section ? on: January 28, 2017, 03:25:51 PM
I don't know If this has already been suggested or not but since Mycelium and Bitcoin for android have their own sections now, I find it weird that hardware wallets don't have their own as well. In fact, I think that Paper wallets should have their own sections as well since people are throwing their topics almost everywhere these days and almost no one posts in the alternative clients section.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to store Iconomi tokens and get dividends paid? on: January 27, 2017, 06:28:49 PM
I think holding them in the online ico wallet will also work too. I only have a tiny amount but just left mine there.

Definitely not something I would recommend to OP , I mean It's unlikely that they will get hacked but It's definitely possible as It's an online platform and always a target for hacks , even them , don't recommend keeping ICNs on their platform.
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the states interfere with the bitcoin developer team? on: January 27, 2017, 05:59:07 PM
Is there a possibility that states will interfere with the bitcoin developer team? What happens if the bitcoin developer team gets jailed?

It won't make any difference because bitcoin is an open source project and If the current developers go , others will come to contribute and continue the development , obliging them to do something in the other hand could be hard since miners most of the time will have to upgrade too.
1050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy large amounts ~$10M of Bitcoin Anonymous/Securely on: January 27, 2017, 05:16:23 PM
Without the obligation of providing an ID or doing an KYC verification ? I doubt It's that easy. I personally would buy from difference sources with small amounts, trade with different individuals and use multiple exchanges such as buy.bitcoin.com or Virwox where no verification are needed.
1051  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitPay I'm Signing Up few questions. on: January 27, 2017, 04:20:36 PM
Hey,

I'm very interested in this
Do they accept credit card payments?
The idea is that a user can pay in the mean he wants and then Bitpay sends it in forms of bitcoins to you that's it?

No , It actually doesn't work like that. A user can only pay using bitcoins and nothing else , It's then up to you If you want to transform those bitcoins into your bank account and I guess this is what most of the major companies such as Steam are doing at the moment.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - Pre-ICO] BlockPay - Zero Cost, digital currency Point-Of-Sale systems on: January 27, 2017, 03:56:05 PM
I thought the crowdfunding is finished a while ago until yesterday when I visited your website , I saw that you guys are planning for a new campaign on 2017, I want to know when exactly this will occurs and I want to know what you meant by saying that Blockpay tokens holders will receive rewards from the transactions ?
1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What rate would you find acceptable to buy Bitcoins with your credit card? on: January 27, 2017, 03:04:15 PM
I find that the less fees the more acceptable they are. High fees are really something easy to avoid If you trade with individuals instead of trading with companies. If we take Neteller or Payoneer for example , both of them allow card to card transaction which are easy to make and cost low fees , 1% or even zero , I find this way of trading more convenient.
1054  Other / Meta / Re: Can bitcointalk create it's own version of forum? on: January 27, 2017, 01:30:25 PM
It's already being created and It got funded as should be , IIRC It's 1.5 million USD , Beta took place a few months back but It definitely took more time then It was planned for . You could try the beta and report issues/bugs on the Github repository If you find any and for suggestions you could post them on the New forum Software section .
1055  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] Digital Ocean Coupon & VCC on: January 26, 2017, 06:40:57 PM
Coinizy could be a good choice for a VCC , It should be accepted anywhere where Visa is accepted and can be linked to PayPal as well. It's also cheap and costs 50 cents only , It doesn't work on most Africain countries and U.S though , See the banned countries before you order the card .
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Wallet Software? on: January 26, 2017, 06:26:49 PM
You did good by making the decision to stop using online wallets because they are indeed risky to use. If you want to download the whole blockchain then simply go with Bitcoin Core otherwise Electrum should be the best choice. If you have big amounts for daily uses then a hardware wallet If its for long term storage then paper wallets.
I pretty much gave you the details that the link posted above includes in a simpler way to read but you should definitely check it out.
1057  Other / Meta / Re: Adding image to a post on: January 26, 2017, 05:53:18 PM
How do you add an image to your post? When I click the image icon it just inserts . So I've pasted a bunch or website URLs that have images (like http://imgur.com/gallery/XkaQi) and I tried pasting images from my desktop like (coin_export.png). Nothing seems to work. Please help a tech illiterate figure this out?

You should get the image URL that most of the time finishes with extension of the file .JPG .PNG .GIF . In the link you posted , you should right click on the image and get the real image url. In most cases with imgur , the image link is the same , you should only add .jpg or .png at the end unless It's a gallery like in your link.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin to buy everyday needs? on: January 26, 2017, 04:30:38 PM
We are definitely not there yet but we will eventually get there , with some effort and work. Blockpay.ch development is still active and I'm very optimistic about it. This should bring BTCitcoin and other digital currencies to hotels , restaurants , groceries , Vending / Kiosk and much more. Pre-ICO finished and I suspect the ICO should take place in 2017 , probably soon.
1059  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Changer.com is legit? on: January 26, 2017, 02:56:51 PM
I didn't use the website myself , I searched a little bit and all I could find was one scam accusation on Reddit but It's invalid as the poster edited his post stating that he go his money back and from the testimonials posted on the website I'd say they are legit comments and not from bots. Someone already asked your a question a few months back , you should check it too.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ride a cab with bitcoin on: January 26, 2017, 01:09:19 PM
Italy probably don't have the biggest bitcoin community out there compared to china or USA but this should definitely help bring more users to bitcoin and If they started accepting it , It means that they had demand on it. If only Uber could start accepting BTCitcoin directly as well , that would take us to another new level.
