1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 08, 2023, 11:48:27 AM
I believe the Rollbit team will make it happens, just time.
They might have some big plans that can really boost the prices for tokens in future as they have made some improvement in the usage adding more benefits to holders and now listing on exchange. So if you can or want to invest just do it now as lottery utility is also good with high reward chances.

To many updates and good developments happen to them so I guess we can see more from RLB tokens since this is well supported by its dev and they didn't forget to give some action that's why holder also the traders is excited to see more from this in future. And halving is coming so I guess RLB will also give some action since even by now they are doing good  so I guess many holders are now starting to get hype on that season to come.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 07, 2023, 11:31:59 PM
If you are onto gambling for the first time it's not possible to get addicted to gambling because you haven't tasted what winning feels like, you will be consumed by doubts and uncertainty.

But wait till you have a taste, win some money, that's where you start feeling like there is more if you keep digging, is this not where gambling addiction starts?

We have had a lot of conversations about gambling addiction, but I had the same conversation with someone close yesterday and this was my answer to him.

Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?

I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.

Interesting read, I must say because it is quite true. Only those who have actually tasted the winnings of gambling, get more induced with the greed to win more and slowly the addiction is formed.
Afterall, what's the definition of addiction if it is not an unholy habit that has become a steady pattern of activity.

Where an addiction becomes a problem is when it doesn't provide any good result, but in a case where it does, I think it can be called passion. A passionate gambler should of course be one who wins and loves gambling so much. Still, when a gambler loses so much more than winning, and doesn't seem to slow down to think about the financial impact on their balance, mental and physical well-being, both for themselves and family, then it is reckless.
If anyone keeps losing like a beginner and never gets any luck to win any interval or wager, but keeps spending money, it has become a problem already, because such a person has failed to acknowledge that maybe gambling isn't something they should channel their energy to.

Well, the point is that everyone faces the wins in gambling and everyone faces the losses too. You will never find a gambler who will always win or who is always on the losing side.

So I would say that it is greed that makes a gambler addicted. The gambler starts to believe that if he only gambles and does nothing else in life, he can still make money and feed his family. This thing will make him lazy and also he will do aggressive gambling and eventually a time will come when he will be addicted to it (while he may never admit it)

Crazy thoughts for some individuals that they can always win on gambling that's why sometimes that beginners luck called is one of the factor why there are people been addicted to some game. Because they think that they can win again if they gamble more, people don't realize early that its not good to do excessive gambling because they don't know the risk yet but unfortunately majority goes with the flow especially if they been hype with other big gains and they became greedy after that.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if USDT falls down? on: August 07, 2023, 01:51:15 PM
We know that USDT is coming back from the most horrific situations from the past. But I want you to answer this, what do you do if someday without any signs USDT falls back to 0.1-0.2$? What do you do? Can you survive in this situation? What do you do if you put all your assets in USDT?

Just curious to know your answer. Don't say reasons that it won't happens, because I want to know if something this kind of thing happens in future what will you do?

If you ask my replay to this, I can say I will ok with it. Because I put my 20% into USDT right now. Why? because you know guys there is an Old saying Never put your all eggs in the same basket.  Wink

It surely can happen since there are supposed to be stable coin drop its price due to Luna crash incident happen before see this link https://www.coindesk.com/learn/the-fall-of-terra-a-timeline-of-the-meteoric-rise-and-crash-of-ust-and-luna/

The incident could happen to USDT to if there big anomaly or controversy will happen unto it. So if you are worried about same situation might happen then don't hold that to much like letting it sleep for years. Since we know crypto is prone from any hacks or government created issue so if worried about such thing don't hold any amount which you can't afford to lose.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 07, 2023, 11:23:23 AM
Ricky Rubio announced his stepping out from professional activity to take care of his mental health. So, the World Cup is coming and he'll be out there for sure.

Does this means that it's possible that he's also going to be out of NBA and won't play for the Cavs when the regular season starts if he's not yet okay?

Nah, I don't think he'll give up his NBA career, it's a bit early for the 2019 FIBA MVP to give up this early. I mean that's his bread and butter right there and his passion as well. If he thought skipping the FIBA world cup could bring goodness to his career, pretty much everyone in the same shoe will do the same. It's also good for his mental health that the Spanish team respected his decision.
He should be more ready in the coming season so he won't lose but improve his value, otherwise he's going to disappear unnoticeably like the other role players in the NBA, since he's actually close to it after recovering from an injury he was struggling real hard when he have rejoined his team in the middle of the season.
Looks like that he's really going to give up the professional career that he's been with. Yes, it's his bread and butter but for how long he's been playing and working.

He's one of the youngest professional basketball player that I've seen. I even remember some of those moments when he's making the news for playing that young on FIBA.

He's got a lot of achievements already, if I'm him, I'll be fine with those and will take care of my mentality.
He may never return depending on the severity of his mental health. Wasn't Ben Simmons out for mental health for awhile? Hasn't been the same since.

In the case of Ben thought it was different, he suffered it when everything went sour, with the Sixers and himself because Ben was a different player in that season. He doesn't want to shoot and then perhaps there is already tension between him the coach and the players themselves.

As compare to Rubio, he was injured that season, so he never see some playing time. Perhaps he just wanted to gave away from the limelight of FIBA as he started very young then and chooses to stay and perhaps focus on his comeback in the NBA.

That two player is incomparable Simmons lose his touch maybe due to out of confidence he's experiencing to much hate and discouragement on his career so I guess his case is much heavier than Rubio.
Rubio's case is maybe he got hurt so bad by his injury or maybe on other thing but for sure this guy can overcome his current problem facing and can come back strong on the league.

Coming soon
Why the hurry though? the forum is not running away, and besides, i was never a crime to at least create a full announcement thread of your casino while somethings or functions are still getting their finishing touch, rather than just create a thread and no single information provided concerning what the thread was created for, but just a few words reading as "coming soon",

If there was no information to share right now, then be patient until there is, creating a thread is not like commenting on a thread, we that when commenting on a thread, if your comment does not fall in the first page, it will fall in the second page, if it does not fall in the second page, it falls in the third page and so on and on, and the further it is into those pages, the less visible it becomes to people just visiting that thread for the first time.

Maybe this is part of their marketing, they want a suspense launching that's why they post the coming soon tex so that people will be curious on what will be the next post made by OP.  He succeed to caught up our attention and for sure on his next post many will be curious to click this thread or the other one only to find out what OP can offer to the gamblers of this forum. For sure he will continue this thread if he find a lot of response but if they see only few post on this thread maybe they create another one.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Fud in the market and bitcoin volatility on: August 05, 2023, 12:48:34 PM
I could say that the government is hunting these big market players and exchanges and Binance if one of their targets. If they are done with this one issue, they'll be making for another issue until such time that the owner will give money to the government in a form of protection. This is really going to happen and we know that the government has been bulgar to such things, money under the table. If you have money to give, they will just skip you but if not, they keep hunting you and never stop.

Well, if ever that was true, then we can expect a dump...this really makes people afraid of adopting Bitcoin.

Unless events like FTX collapsing or something similar will put a dent on the market as what we have seen last year. But in this case, SEC vs Binance, it can't also as much but I doubt that that the market will react negatively and putting sell pressures from us.

Maybe temporarily it can create sell pressure knowing that people always react on the fud they read since when they see that there big negative news occur it means a dumping situation will happen. This became a normal thing but as always it became silent when many days pass and that one is good to wait since for sure accumulation stage will happen since mostly we can see a recovery after that. Maybe the same with that case its better for people to relax since we all know how fud end up and the only loser with this scenarios are those people who easily get panic on certain situation.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 05, 2023, 09:57:57 AM
Did you mean he should become a financial stable after he get such huge amount of money?

To become wealthy is start from small thing, it's about how he manage his money when he only have $100. If someone is still not understand how to make money and manage his money, regardless how much money he get will not make him rich. Maybe he's a temporary rich person, but after next 1-2 years he will be in the same path or worse than it was.
Well, he should become financially stable when he got that money but he's not that knowledgeable to handle such wealth. That phrase that becoming instantly wealthy will also be a like bubble to pop up is true but with proper money management I guess that curse will not be within you.

Not really because it still matter on how he handle hia finances since there are lottery winner who win millions of dollars in prize but got broke because they didn't handle well their finances and just became a one day millionaire. Past mistakes by lottery winners should needed to learn so that other winners like him could handle their money very well and they will not regret when all their money earned has totally gone. Sometimes people got overwhelmed easily with the money instantly accumulated that's why some of them doesn't have any guilt feeling when spending it since they think they still have a lot of money and realization comes after when they see that its draining fast then they start to get broke.

To Non English Users
Mistake is inevitable, if there is no mistake there is no correction, that is, people make mistake and through the mistake, corrections are made. Most users submit their post without cross checking the write up. So in many times omissions occurred and some ungrammatical statement occurred and English speaking users see them as trash, shit post without correction. It is better you reread you work before posting to avoid mistake. Be a good poster. Avoid mistake. But mistake is inevitable. It most come but not always.
OP, you are very correct on this topic of yours. As one needs to be careful and not rush into posting because sometimes, you might think that you post is quality enough but full of mistakes. When you use the preview method to go through it again, then you will see the errors and correct them. However if the information that you are passing can be understood by readers then it wouldn't be a problem to the forum.

Better always to proof read your sentences before you try to post something so that you will know that there's something wrong with our post and to make sure that there's no misspelled words so that it will be easy understand by other people who read it. Also we better accept peoples opinion if there's someone pointing out about posting mistakes that need to correct since by this we can improve our posting and the way we communicate with other people.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 04, 2023, 03:09:42 PM
It all depends on the individual. It's Really Hard to Quit Gambling. For successful completion, it is necessary to replace gambling with something - for example, go fishing
I have given some instant or example before in this thread on how to quit gambling and if someone takes gambling very serious that will make them person to be addicted in gambling, so to restrict someone not to participate in gambling that means you make sure the person is receiving a weakly funds from other angle, because what makes people to gamble seriously is because all their mindset is in gambling and they that will lead them to continue to be losing because of they will be interested in recovering all their funds they lose, so quiting from gambling have be achieve by having a serious job, that will limit a gambler not to participate fully in gambling
Whether we are just casual gamblers or not but in the moment that we are losing control of our gambling habits, the closest we will fall into addiction. And once we are into addiction, that can be pretty hard to stop. If we wanted not to fall into this situation, then we must not gamble in the first place. Because spending time gambling will lead to something that will influence our minds which might control our actions. Now that gambling is already available only, the more it gives us too hard to separate from the world of gambling or the best option is to stay in a place that has no internet.

Losing control is personal choice since people can decide if they push thru or not. If they take out the greediness on their system they can avoid to be in bad position, but most of the time this happen to newbies  where they think gambling is easy and nothing serious will happen to them if they bet excessively. For knowledgeable or those we say experience gambler they can easily quit since they know how to handle the situation and knows a lot since they experience to be in negative situation by pushing theirself to their limits.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else uses move to earn apps for the same reasons I do? on: August 04, 2023, 12:34:42 PM
Hey there, fellow adventurers! Who else is bouncing around with a spring in their step, thanks to a groovy move-to-earn app on their mobile? This is me! I jumped on the GazaGO platform, an M2E creation by Staika, to chase some serious moola knowing quite well that walking isn't my passion but hey, cash flow is king! This all started out with a simple  notification about $STIK coming to Bitget by the 31st, I got interested and ended up signing up for GazaGO. Now I'm pounding the pavement, running errands like a champ and having a blast. Come on, let's hear it! Am I the only one on this wacky and wonderful adventure? 😆

You seem to be very excited about this one but you are not digging deep into the platform that you are supporting this is not the first nor the only one with this concept, and I regret investing in two of these projects with this kind of concept these are Superstep and Sweatcoin both projects are a big failure Sweatcoin is still in the market and doing good but I don't think they can sustain it, because concept based tokens are not for a long term, it's just a matter of time before they vanish in the market.

They are just excited on the idea but they didn't consider the risk beneath on this project since there are possibilities that same with your other concept investment that project might also fall. Beside this kind of project is not new so best to take extra precaution before participating since the same with last NFT craze there's a chance that this kind of new trend will fail and to bad if we can see another scam victims will post about their investment failures due to bad decisions.
1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 04, 2023, 10:41:32 AM

Betnomi's departure from this business has made the victim lose a lot of money too. For that, Trustdice has come to provide assistance, although there may be some people who will perceive it as seeking sensation or profit from the victim's loss, but behind that, appreciation must still be given because of Trustdice's good intentions, even though so other casinos should also help to repair the good name of all crypto casinos in this forum.

Who knows other casinos may be planning something to help those victims. It's actually not that easy as scammers would try to take advantage of this situation. I am certain Trust dice team have created a mechanism to identify those affected by Betnomi. It is a possibility that other casinos might be working on the same mechanism. Still, it is not that easy and in that sense such a good gesture by Trust dice should be appreciated.

If there's a huge bonus given on their first deposit then maybe they are aftering something, but if this is just given for marketing purposes then its great action for them to gain gamblers out of those people who use to gamble at that casino. Existing victim should be careful since maybe there are other casino will take advantage on this situation and try to lure them and possibly hit the same scenario again.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: August 03, 2023, 11:20:12 PM
What do you guys think? Should he tell his parents or secretly invest the money while acting his regular self around the house?

Ok this is no big deal. That kid is clearly not religious as his parents, so might as well keep it a secret if he can actually do it. I mean what's the catch here? If he tells his parents they'll surely get mad, not even sure if they'll be happy with the amount of money their son have won.
So, just simply keep it secret and safe. Investing is also a good choice, but he can also save it for the latter especially when he has his own family, but inflation will kills it's value, so yeah go ahead and invest it (in bitcoin most probably) LOL!
But on other hand if he hide that to his parents then maybe he will be in situation that he used to lie to his parents and this bad attitude to bring especially the secret he kept is all about gambling. I also thing about that maybe he should tell this to his parents so that he can get a proper guidance and to see what his parents reaction towards his winnings. If he decide to keep it a secret then maybe he will be misguided on other things he do since he might learn to became secretive by that actions he made.
1053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did Bitcoin Bring a Smile to Your Face? How Did You Make It Happen? on: August 03, 2023, 09:44:58 PM
I don't get why a person has to quit their job because of Bitcoin, it's not like Bitcoin needs all of your time and effort, all you need to do is just buy and hold it. Check the market and get some news like once a week, or even once a month, people should still be able to do their regular job while investing and learning about Bitcoin.
I also think it’s unnecessary to quit your job because of bitcoin, I know some people might be trading bitcoin and some might just buy and hold, but if anyone is involved in either of the two, you don’t have to quit your job because of it. Bitcoin investment is kind of very easy and it those not even take much time, and if you are having a job, you can still allocate some certain amount of money from your salary to keep on accumulating more bitcoin, and if you are into trading, you can be at your work place and still trade without stress, and your job will serve as alternative source of income, because we shouldn’t depend on only one source of income.

Nothing is stable with bitcoin and cryptocurrency since even if you earn something today you cannot be so sure if you can still earn the same in future. So not good if you quit on your job because of thus since you might be in bad position and everything might fall apart if bad things happen, we should remember that there's always bad market situation always happen and to bad if we got badly affected with that since maybe we can't recover especially if we lose a lot of money in single bearish movement.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin was stolen from Atomic wallet on the 3rd of June on: August 03, 2023, 12:14:46 PM
Forgive me but my Bitcoin was stolen from the Atomic wallet on the 3rd of June as part of a massive draining of funds globally from that wallet. I just wondered if there was any way to recover or block the address of the hacker ?  I can actually see where the stolen Bitcoin sits but cant get authorities or anyone of note to help me with it.
Atomic wallet appears to be actively wanting the hack to disappear and blocking victims from various social media platforms where it is, at the moment the only recourse is a legal one but that will take a long time.
I write this as a hope there might be an answer , this destroyed me and I dont know where else to turn.
Anyway thankyou
Sorry if this is wasting your time.

Don't apologize about asking this since you are not wasting people's time, bitcointalk is created for any topic that any member asked so feel free to post here.

But in your case I case there's nothing you can do with those stolen bitcoin as there are no people have power aside from those criminals to return your balance so the only thing you can do is accept that its gone forever and start to move on. Next time be careful to deal with your balances and always remember what other people says that not your keys not your coins this is important reminder to anyone.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 03, 2023, 10:11:21 AM
I won't favor Rollbit exchange but the token has nothing to do with an exchange's accusations because a token a simply a form of crypto-currency made to work on the ecosystem of an exchange, and if the users of the exchange like it then they will most probably try to invest in such coins. I still don't think that such coins could provide any good value to traders or investors because they are mainly featured for the ones who want to enjoy some extra perks on the exchanges.
A casino creates a crypto token because they want to have a bigger community and with a well-developed crypto token, automatically the name of the gambling site that owns the crypto token will also be famous or increasingly popular.
If Rollbit immediately puts RLB on more exchanges then they will definitely have an increase not only in the form of investment and trading but also in the gambling industry because surely more people will enter the site to be able to trade RLB and Rollbit itself already has an exchange service inside it.

More exchange listing doesn't mean that the price of their token would provably pump since more exchange could mess everything especially if the volume became low and interest of people to trade on that exchange became less. Much better for now if they focus on current resources they have and try to list on atleast one big exchange in future once they get more demands and strong community support. For now its good to see that RLB performs very good and people think bullish about this token.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's safe to say - gambling is a guy thing. on: August 02, 2023, 10:50:40 PM
Hey y'all...Seriously, I've been having this running through my mind.. maybe it's been discussed but this is on a diverse objective.
Why is it that we tend to have alot of men inclined and addicted to gambling than women? Is there any mystery guiding that?
I mean, You ain't gonna telme that everyone isn't roofed by this economic crises - both gender to speak of - so what's so special about men gambling?? Alot of cases has been reported several times too - and y'all end up realizing that MEN are usually involved in very many critical cases... What's that validating? That men are really taking the whole thing personal??

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

Men are risk takers so maybe that's the reason why you can say that. But in reality not only men doing critical thing since there are women do some risky stuff or want to try new things since they want to explore fresh things to them. Also there's no actual gender about such stuffs since as long as anyone could take whatever they like for sure they will do that whatever it takes either on gambling or any other thing you imagine.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefits of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to the global Economic Structure on: August 02, 2023, 02:24:22 PM
If government will look for another source of income then cryptocurrency is perfect way for them knowing that this is a billion industry and people always use it for their daily transaction. And if they can regulate all the crypto platforms residing or doing transaction on their jurisdiction then they can accumulate some tax with them and that can really help their economy to boost since multiple income streams will come in to their country.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: August 02, 2023, 11:53:15 AM
I also suggest that, we should wait until market pattern indicate good sign for buying altcoins. Now market condition is sensitive for someone, but for someone its another opportunity to grab

Maybe best for him to do test using a small amount so he would know or maybe get an idea if its good to buy at this time or rather to gain experience before he use all of his money to buy the alts he desired. Also nothing wrong to buy at current condition and its just he needs to be more vigilant to know each movement so that they will not get trapped by bad movement and can sell early while other is accumulating. To many things to learn in the market so best study first before taking unwanted steps on trading.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 02, 2023, 10:32:09 AM
Maybe by sharing predictions and at the end we win, we can celebrate together because it will be fun to get together and party because we have won. But yeah, that will depend on each one because if we share with close friends who have won bets together, it will feel even more beautiful. And maybe we will predict other bets to find one more prediction that we can place as a bet and hope we can win with them again.
not as easy as you might imagine. something related to money, especially if you have to bet combining money with your friends, maybe we imagine sharing predictions is beautiful, but in reality, when the predictions you share lose, maybe your friends will get angry and your friendship is destroyed. you can see from the other threads of this case as this kind of problem has happened a long time ago and it's better for me to close the prediction for myself after experiencing my past experience.

When situation like this where they insist to bet base on your prediction then make them understand that it will never be a 100% accurate so that they can accept the result when unexpected result came. Blaming will be the result if they don't understand the situation and they are just always go for the win then count already their profit while result still not showing up yet. Best be realistic to them and for sure they will never get angry to you and bet again because they see how fair you are as a bettor.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 01, 2023, 11:56:07 PM
Lately majority of people find theirselves within the crypto space, but many of them do not really understand the actual reasons for adopting crypto currency other than to make profit, what are your own reasons for adopting cryptocurrency?

I'm here main for profits since opportunity is wide on cryptocurrency scene and see a lot of potential that we can gain more from here since many people are now doing some business in related with cryptocurrency. Maybe my second reason is the technology since aside from banking system or any other mode of payment overseas we can use bitcoin as direct payment to anyone who use it especially if we need some service to do or even send money easily with less fee to our relatives.
