1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: April 13, 2023, 06:38:10 PM
The condition is still possible for both of them because we also don't know whether he is a billionaire or not Cheesy
If indeed he spends all that money on one bet and he really loses everything then surely it will give him a long headache but on the other hand if it is a billionaire then they will be fine and will probably just laugh like Neymar did recently where he lost quite a lot in just over an hour.
But as you said, there is a positive side to this and of course this can also be a reminder that in gambling even if the odds are very small it doesn't mean it's something that can be won easily because something like this could happen.
If he were Neymar, maybe he would laugh again but we only know that he has already lost a lot of money playing gambling, so we have to stay away from spending a lot of money like him. After all, we're not billionaires (I mean, we're not billionaires yet Grin).

So we better just take the positives for us so we don't play gambling with lots of money. And even though there is a possibility for us to win and it turns out we win, we must be able to stop ourselves from continuing the game and stop immediately before everything changes.
Neymar is an official partner of Blaze, so he probably gets to gamble that much money on the platform itself only to lure the audience that watches him toward the platform. That is one of the newest marketing techniques that most of the platforms use, Stake has got a lot of partners including Sergio Aguero, Drake, etc.

It's probably the best practice not to gamble with a lot of money if you can't really afford it. Getting inspired by these celebrities and gambling with a lot of money will only cost you money while they just gamble for fun using the platform's own money.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30k Bitch!!! on: April 13, 2023, 05:48:24 AM
I’m surprised that the price went through $30K and has been holding above it without a good sized pullback. That leads me to believe this rally still has legs. Somebody out there is snapping up all the BTC and just keeps buying. I do feel like we may see a pause at this level for a while to allow for some accumulation before the next leg up.
I'm expecting the pullback to hit us anytime as soon as it breaks out of the $30k level and hits $31k or maybe even before that. Not a lot of people, including me, were expecting the price to hit $30k before the end of the second week of April, I personally thought that it will just stay stable at around $28k and might even drop a little from there.

I really wish that the price goes up to $35k from this point, but somewhere from the inside, I feel it isn't going to happen. I just wish and hope that the market proves me wrong and touches that milestone before the end of this month.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you look for information about new project/coin? on: April 12, 2023, 02:41:04 PM
2. Check out website of project. Included in reading white pepper, see roadmap.
Those who plan to cheat do these things very precisely. To gain investors' trust they design their website and road map in such a way that no investor thinks that the project is fake.  Investors invest in their projects after gaining the trust of the investors. And when the amount of investment increases, it is seen that the fraudster takes down the website and disappears with the investment money. As a result investors who invest in those projects do not get their invested money back. So before investing I don't think only these three things can be sure about the content of the project and the project team. Since it is a matter of gaining credibility, one should check all the content before investing in any new project.
No matter how hard they try to hide their dark thoughts, they will still leave signs that show that they are not actually legit, all you need to find those out is some experience and a good eye to see every bit of detail and compare it with other legit projects, and if you follow them on social channels and everywhere where projects generally post news and updates, you will understand everything.

A fake project which doesn't really offer what it preaches in the whitepaper or the website where the project is described will have no significant news or updates to give out to their community and they will just try to make up things from themselves, and someone with a bit of experience can easily identify that.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 12, 2023, 02:06:40 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.
Are you indirectly saying gambling is a game of luck?
To me is far above game of being Lucky to win because whenever you don't seat properly to make your predictions correctly you may stand little chance of winning but whenever you forecast how the games are being played (Sportbooking precisely) then you stands another best chances of winning the game for the week or day. So gambling more than being a game of Luck, there are some cases where you could predicts and never win does it mean you don't luck or you are lucky for that day?
We truly understand is a game of fun but whenever you don't apply wisdom to get your scores correctly then you may hardly win the game.
There is no need for anyone to be indirect about that, gambling without a doubt is a game of luck, and you cannot win no matter what you do unless you are lucky. No strategies, no planning, and no betting method can make you win a single penny if you got no luck at all. I know people win sometimes, some win very big amounts, but they don't win because they have a specific strategy for that, it's just because they got luck on their side.

If we talk about sports betting, even the results of that can be based on your luck, though there are more chances of winning if you understand the sport you are betting on and the team that you've chosen, but still, if the win isn't in your destiny, even the favorite team will lose that day.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 11, 2023, 09:36:33 PM
I don't think the salary has anything to do with this Messi saga. I believe Messi wants to be assured of the project of the club before he agrees to remain there. He wants a better squad and better management. If they can promise that they will do that then I believe he will sign with PSG.
He is also accessing the same thing with Barcelona. He is waiting to see if it will be possible to join Barcelona and if they can guarantee that they have a good project and he believes in the project they're building. It's what players do when they have offers from various clubs. Some might just follow the money but most often what they do is go for the club they feel has the best project for them.

Messi is willing to go to Barcelona and receive very little compared to what he's earning at PSG, but it doesn't mean he would make the same sacrifice for PSG because PSG is not in a financial crisis like Barcelona and secondly, because he doesn't owe PSG any loyalty.
Right now, situation is not clear about Messi and for all better view about this we have to wait until end of this season with most chances he will not go to Barcelona because of their financial situation which is not good, and they have to release too many players which high salary which can create more problems for them so things looking not easy for the both parties with this all we have just PSG option for the Messi but before extended contract he needs to work on few things which will give better shape to this club right now coach and few players are creating problems which is never been ideal to win big trophies and Messi love to win trophies and now if PSG want to have Messi in their team for more time then surely they need to give better shape to their squad and also having few changes in their polices as well.
1046  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which is the best platform to get clients as a web designer? on: April 11, 2023, 09:03:29 PM
As a web designer, there are many opportunities for you to find decent jobs both within and outside of this forum. There are many websites that offer such opportunities, and they pay good money. All you need is a portfolio and good skills to showcase your work before you start applying for jobs. Once you do that, I'm confident that you'll get clients in your DMs asking for designs. Just be creative in your work, and everything will work out great.

Can new users write here?  I am a new users I want to know a lot from the form I hope everyone will help me
and yeah, new members can post here and in different sections of the forum. Just make sure to stick to the topic and try to write constructive posts, so that you can rank up and improve your account.
The thing is, these things are not as easy when one is doing them as they sound when they are said. One might be able to create some sample work only to show their capabilities, but most clients ask for real projects that an individual has worked on and if you are fresh and have no past works, you will have trouble finding clients initially.

Though one can surely find clients eventually if they dedicate their time and put some efforts in, it might be discouraging at the beginning when your hard work doesn't seem to pay off, but one needs to be patient and keep trying.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 11, 2023, 10:05:05 AM
I think in April bitcoin sentiment is still good, but for pump or bullish I think it will still not happen,
we are still below $ 30k and still above $ 20k, meaning sideways will occur this April,
so if you want hold make sure you also have to be ready to cut lose.
Sideways or not then it is really still good to see that we are seeing positive increments which is  really something that do shows up some recovery after some huge correction.
We are now 1/3 of this month of April and BTC or the entire market does show another green condition which for those people who do able to get in earlier would really be
likely be able to make profits on short term durations.

For now we cant be able to tell if this one would be sustainable or not considering that this market could really be having those dips and corrections after some green candle emerges.
Just deal on what you do see along the way.
Those short-term traders who have been holding until now will surely enjoy the uptrend that has just started and Bitcoin is marching towards $30k which has caused a significant increase in the market among altcoins as I can see all are green with at least 5% or more increment in each coins price which isn't bad at all.

I'm positive that a lot of short-term traders will take profit at around the $30k-$31k range as there are also chances of the price dropping back a little bit after it touches maybe $32k or it might not even go there.
1048  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions? on: April 11, 2023, 07:11:51 AM
The truth is that since March 18th bitcoin has not presented a big movement and it has been ranging during the previous 4 weeks, something not very surprising if you ask me as the halving is still far away but at the same time we seem to be out of the bear market too, and with this in mind it is possible we are going to see months of not much movement and we will have to wait until an external factor destabilizes the situation and forces the market to go in one direction or the other.
You are right and almost everyone was expecting that at least in the first week of the month it will at least touch $30k and after that, it might drop again, but as we have seen, the price has been stable at around $28k and has been going up and down every now and then, but hasn't shown any stable growth to be honest.

Even after that, speculators are still positive that the price will surge above $30k within April, and it might be true but we never know, if there is some bad news that causes further FUD in the market we might even see another significant drop.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 10, 2023, 09:01:00 PM
Taking risk is part of the market here in crypto , but the problem is that we need to keep at least longer time before taking the fruits ,actually i use to love taking risk in gambling but not in bitcoin investing in which for me is truly not right to act, because in gambling i only use spare money but in this ? we need to rely to what will bring in our future.
I think it is important to know the size of the risk as well. For example, investing into bitcoin of course has a risk, but not a huge risk, it is not going to go down 90%, even when the crash happens which is rare and happens once every 3-4 years, that is usually not as much.

However, if you buy a token that is brand new, it could go down not only 90% but it could even turn out to be a scam and 100% of your money could be gone. That is why risk size matters and I believe that we should be risking less than what people assume would happen. This is not an easy thing to calculate, sometimes the risk is too big and sometimes it is not but as long as we buy known big name coins, we should be fine, usually.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 10, 2023, 08:48:14 PM
Look like the teams which have lost the initial matches are now coming back to business. I wonder if Mumbai Indians and Delhi teams can also get their first wins in their next matches.

Today's match will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. I was looking at the odds at stake.com and found that RCB is slightly favorite with 1.84 odds while LSG has 1.90 odds. I think the odds suggest that both teams are of equal strength and you may bet on your favorite team. Both the teams have lost one match each.
Right now, we are in early rounds of this season and things can change drastically in coming days with few teams can go down from top but after watching few matches I have feeling current season is going to be disastrous for the MI because they are not looking good and few other teams are having enough firepower which will give them advantage for having better results specially teams like LSG, GT and RR have good units which will helps them for having better results until end of this season and few teams like CSK and KKR will fight hard for the remaining spot and RCB and MI are looking not good as we have on papers so most chances these teams will be out of the competition.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Al Transforming Job Market on: April 09, 2023, 07:22:00 PM
It's kinda sad that this is really like an inevitable things to happen since tech is evolving anyway. I recall some news about that new Mcdonald's restaurant even opening that has no employee and imagine if such layoffs happened to those fast food chain since every processes were being automated already.

Even tech giants are now doing layoffs, but it is not due to AI yet I believe. Devs are ironically laying themselves off their jobs as they develop the one that replaces them, although I do have some few doubts that AI will replace devs though.
The layoffs are mostly due to economic crisis and the fact that companies don't make as much money as they used to make when the economy of a country goes downhill, that's when companies start cutting short their employees to keep their budget under control and make the company sustainable and keep it away from going bankrupt.

I do agree that in the future, a lot of jobs can be replaced with AI or machines, but I believe there will also be a way for humans to survive without having to work a 9 to 5 job because the world will obviously not end like that, so there will surely be a way out from this as well for the human beings.
1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will hit $1 million for the first time? on: April 08, 2023, 08:28:05 PM
Nothing is impossible but I want to be realistic I don't want to be like Mcafee that is so fascinated by Bitcoin to reaching $1 million, people ten years ago did not entertain the thought that Bitcoin will hit the $20k mark but it did.
I will be happy if Bitcoin will hit $100k that's a big achievement already, but with all the FUDS going on and the authorities imposing their will, it will be an uphill climb, but we will eventually get there nothing can beat a strong community.
You are probably right that keeping expectations that are almost unrealistic or impossible to come true will only hurt you in the long run, and it is always better to just see things in a realistic manner and only expect what's achievable. $100k is not a small price for Bitcoin to reach, that will be an amazing milestone to cross for Bitcoin.

As you said, considering how rapidly the regulations and laws are becoming more and more against the technology and all the coins/tokens in general, it will surely not be a smooth ride to go that high but it's achievable.
1053  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchanges with trading apps for PC (Windows, macOS, Linux)? on: April 08, 2023, 09:53:04 AM
Apart from Binance, does anybody know any other crypto exchange with a good trading app/terminal specifically for a computer and not mobile phones?
Why aren't crypto exchanges not taking any initiatives to develop trading terminals for PC despite thriving in a billion-dollar industry?

I know there are web versions, but I believe apps are the in thing when it comes to any major platform.
There is probably not enough demand within the general public or normal traders for having desktop applications since most of the traders either use mobile applications or the web version which works fine for any exchange when you are using a PC or a laptop, I myself have never had any wish for an exchange that I use to have a desktop application.

Even if they go for it, it will be an extra burden for the management considering the constant updates and maintenance that the application would require and there can also be other vulnerabilities that are not there in a web version like malware, etc.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 07, 2023, 06:01:23 PM
This is insanity.
Why in the world would any serious businessman would do this? It seems that at this point Twitter is just a toy for Elon Musk to mess with rather than a way for him to made money off. It is not even April 1th anymore.
It is a private company owned by Elon Musk and he shelled out $44 billion and if he wants to change the logo, so be it and it is a kind of promotion for the cryptocurrency market as well as people who are not even in this space will try to learn about the change in logo which is an advertisement which is unprecedented.
Not really sure if that can serve as a promotion for cryptocurrency since it is only a logo and a person who isn't in cryptocurrency in general wouldn't really know that the logo represents a cryptocurrency, unless they have so much extra time to open Google and do some research of their own about it only to find out what the change is about.

Elon Musk really surprises the world at times, and this is a classic example of that. We thought it might be for a few hours and will be removed after that, but as I can see, it's still there, so I wonder what his motive is behind this.
1055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 06, 2023, 04:03:30 PM
You could try HotBit or KuCoin, which are less stringent in KYC than Binance. And I see that the two exchanges also have almost the same features as Binance so maybe you just need to get used to it for a while.

But if you want Coinbase to trade, you can choose that too. But whatever you choose, it's a good idea to compare all the exchanges you know to know the advantages and disadvantages of each.
What makes you think that if the largest exchange in the world can be targeted and can be vulnerable to FUDs and allegations, what would save these smaller exchanges from having the same faith in the long run? I think they will target all the cryptocurrency exchanges one by one, as the primary goal of the central authorities is to have no cryptocurrencies at all.

Their motive is to only have CBDCs be functional and used by the citizens and no cryptocurrencies are used by any, and the reason for that is obvious, they want control over the financial activities of their citizens and cannot bear not having that control at all.
1056  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 06, 2023, 02:29:03 PM
I think it is important to remember that not having any money is not a shameful thing, and it happens to so many people in the world. Of course we should try to be richer, but at the same time we should look for peace in our life as well. Can I get richer? Can I be so much richer in 10 years that I would be going to New York and Paris and Milan for summer shopping?

I can, I really can, or at least I can try to, I can have a goal to do that. How? Simply just gather all my friends, and apply to all types of banks all together, and sell all the assets we have, buy a plot of land in a good place, build an apartment with 20-40 houses, sell them each, and be rich, and do this some more times and you are rich. Why not do it?

Because, a million things would go wrong and make us upset and have a worse life, richer but more angry and less happy. Sometimes money and lack of it, is not the end of the world.
Not having money might not be a shameful thing but considering the economic crisis that we usually get into and the high rate of inflation, it almost gets impossible to survive without having enough money, and if we are talking about the preparations for the future or after retirement, it obviously isn't a good thing if you have nothing by that time.

It won't be your prime time and you cannot just do whatever you want at that age, so you need to do whatever is required to have a better future in present, and the goal should be to accumulate enough wealth to spend a peaceful life later on while you are still in good shape and health.
1057  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Clients getting turned down by United Kingdom Banks | PM on other quest on: April 06, 2023, 11:49:41 AM
Prime minister Sunak led the country to the UK, and his dream to make the UK a Crypto Hub is breaking apart considering the main system is ignoring the whole concept of what the PM stated in the first place.

With the recent news, UK banks are not accepting any Crypto-associated users and companies to open their bank accounts with them, banks are also freezing the accounts of current users/companies, and those who have accounts already approved, are asking for more and more documentation.

In short, they do not want anyone to operate crypto-related accounts.
Banks are afraid of cryptocurrencies and it is not a new thing for us to know, no matter which country it is, the banks will never happily accept users who are in any way involved in cryptocurrencies because banks and cryptocurrencies are basically rivals, and how can rivals operate within the same model or allow its rival to invade its territory?

I'm not sure whether the banks are answerable to the Prime Minister or not, but if they are, then there might be changes occurring later on since the PM has a different point of view on cryptocurrencies.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE surges as Twitter change its website icon to Doge on: April 05, 2023, 08:44:02 PM

While it still applied, you can directly visit https://twitter.com/ to see it. Or if it already changed, here is the archive: https://archive.is/flHAn

As per CoinGecko, it is up almost 20%, in the meantime. Upon checking further, I can not find any news regarding it. Does anyone know the reason behind it? Does Elon just playing around?

Or is it has something to do with the matter of Elon's lawsuit in regard to market manipulation with Dogecoin?
He has also posted a meme about it here: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1642962756906418176

And by the time I'm writing this, the logo is still there and hasn't been changed, I wonder what is his motive behind this. If it's about the lawsuit, I don't think that this is going to help him in any way, and if he is just trolling the authorities then this can get dirty I believe unless he can use his money power to turn things around if that works.

However, whatever the reason is behind this, the people who might have bought and stored doge must be enjoy these times as their tokens have gained a significant value in these couple of days.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to gamble on: April 05, 2023, 07:23:02 PM
I hardly think that has got anything to do with good gambling. People keep gambling all day long if they have funds in their accounts. I am surprised as to why the timing could be a crucial factor in winning the games that we play on online casinos. At the same time, it confuses me with one major factor, online casinos = global players. This means at any given time there is a morning person, there is an afternoon person and there is a night person who is gambling. Virtually speaking, you got company in an online casino all the time. Moreover, if you think that having a specific time to gamble can do anything good for the games, then it seems far fetched and unreal statement. There are also algorithms working all the time. If the house is losing more than it is not supposed to, then it could become a serious problem for their revenue. You win what you win, you lose what you lose, and time plays no role in it.
Maybe time doesn't matter as you said, but your feelings, emotions, and overall mood surely matters as that can have either a good or a bad effect on your gambling based on how you are feeling at the time. If you are feeling fresh, in a good mood, and positive, your game session will most likely be better than when you are angry, sad, disturbed or aren't in a fresh mood or in good health.

So the time of the day for gambling obviously depends on an individual's personal choice and preference, but these things must be kept in mind before gambling. If you don't care and gamble when you are angry or anxious, you are most likely to lose all your capital in no time.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attempting to help some underprivileged through Bitcoin on: April 05, 2023, 05:08:06 PM
you can help as much as you can according to your ability. And if you give your opinion then all our help can be pooled in one place and many families can be helped from there.

I just shared my thoughts with you. If you think my idea is right then we can move forward.
Your idea is a very good one and your heart must be really pure to think this way for the underprivileged if all this is true and isn't a scam, I say this because we have seen this happening, and it isn't blaming you personally. I really appreciate your thoughts and concerns and I wish that you succeed in this virtuous venture.

By the way, as asked by others as well, how do you plan to do this? Let's suppose there are a bunch of people who want to donate to the cause, but they also want to have some surety that their money is being spent for what they are given. What is the plan for that? And, donations can be accepted in any currency, not only Bitcoin, after all, you will convert them to fiat to help those people.
